Chicken fajitas and some old lettuce in the sauce
    Agnes K.

Came here for dinner with my husband . He had the bacon wrapped shrimp, he liked it he gave it a 3.5 stars . I ordered the chicken fajitas. Not what i was expecting at all. It was spicy but blah, did not look or taste what I was expecting, the chicken was in a red spicy sauce , did not try the refried beans because it had lard but tried the beans - lacked flavor . The guacamole was good but was better once we mixed the pico de gallo in it and added some lime. Husband had a modelo. Paid $70 plus tip. I am all about supporting local businesses but this place need major improvement. At 9:30 the music stooped and everyone started vacuuming and mopping around u made us uncomfortable. Also - I do not want to make assumptions but how did old lettuce get into the fajita sauce ? Sorry but we wont be back .

Que Rico la verdad! Stopped by with a couple of friends on Monday for the early lunch rush. But also to help get back on the groove of the week from the weekend Lol We ordered Tostada Mixta and ceviche de Pescaso and I of course had to order the A la Diabla Camarones con Arroz Frijoles y ensalada. Very tasty not spicy to the point that you can't continue to eat Lol because we have all had those. Ordered some fish tacos to go for my bf and I got no complaints. Lol Ambiance was good not too busy or slow but again it was Monday. Parking very easy big enough shopping center very spacious. See you again soon, Thank you so much.

Saw this place and heard about it! Wanted to try some ceviche since the place I went to is now closed. So I ordered the fish ceviche, and a mixed ceviche Togo. I forgot to take a pic of it when I got home because I was hungry, but I did finish it. The ceviche was just ok I felt that it could have had more flavor to be all the way real. It did not have enough seasoning to me. I did put a lot of Tapatio and lime to make it more tasteful. I thought it would have been better, but overall the ceviche was not that great to me. The service was decent, nothing too crazy since I just did a Togo order. The ambiance was just ok nothing too spectacular. It was pretty clean inside and spacious. It's good to come for family dinner and regular outings. They do have other food options that looked good that others had on their table, but I am not sure if I will come back to try. On the other hand, easy to find and not difficult to park. -Marshay

I'm here again!! For Steak Asada Nacos!!

#LATEPOST: Recently, I was craving for nachos. So.. a few days ago, I stopped by & I answered to the Nachos calling I ordered it and got it just the way I like it: no beans, no sour cream & no pico de gallo.. guacamole on the side. Asked for extra cheese & salsa picante. It's now $20.00 Which is reasonable. They gave a lot of meat in it! Tasted just as good as I remembered it.. still loaded with Asada steak pieces, lots of cheese & sliced Pickled jalapeños. It was just perfect!! I spoke / practiced my Spanish with the boss and showed him my review here on Google & Yelp! He was very appreciative.. jokingly, I said he should give me discount. He LOL-ed and said to remind him next time Jajaja Nice place, friendly people, good food.. you can't go wrong dining here!! Lots of free parking.

    Fish Tacos Combo Plate

Shared parking lot. Nice air conditioning. Complimentary seafood vegetable soup, which was delicious. Extensive menu, featuring seafood, but there are chicken, beef and pork options. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. I had the fish tacos combo plate. The fish was cooked to perfection. Ok, bye.

I got my food surprisingly quick. At a mariscos or Latin restaurant I usually expect a semilong wait but not here. I had the lobster, the lobster alone filled me up. I couldn't finish the rice. The mojarra was also good. It a good spot to take the family out. I bought three dishes with some aguas frescas and it came out to a little over 100.

Burrito de Camarones (Shrimp burrito). Fork is for reference.

This was my first time eating a this place. I wasn't quite sure what to get, but after looking through their delicious menu items, I settled on the shrimp burrito. When my burrito arrived, I didn't know where to start. First off, it was HUGE! (see photo for reference). I wasn't sure if I should eat it, or name it and take it home (Haha!) I ended up cutting it in half for better control. My first bite, and I taste all the flavor. The ingredients were fresh, the shrimp was nice and crispy. You can hear the snap as you bit into each bite of the burrito. It was loaded with whole shrimp. I will have to come back and try some of their seafood plates.

    Shrimp Taco?

The food was different from what I expected. I ordered shrimp tacos, but they turned out to be fajita shrimp tacos. The flavor wasn't bad, but it wasn't the typical shrimp taco I was hoping for. Friendly staff.

Lobster roll sounded perfect so I went. It is family owned and operated. Owners (Husband and wife) were sitting outside. There was one other table of customers when I walked in. A young guy at the counter took the order. I believe he was their son. He took the order and also made it. He was a bit disengaged though. No smile, no conversation, just do the job. I ordered Connecticut style lobster roll and calamari fries. I love warm lobster roll with butter and maybe it was my bad for not reading the ingredients because I always eat Connecticut lobster rolls and I never had mayo in it. I will post a picture of the amount of mayo so you can see what I'm talking about, but this did not do any justice at all. Warm overloaded mayo just killed the authenticity of the juicy lobster and made it soggy and just meh. Calamari fries were overcooked and dry but ok I ate it because I was hungry and didn't have time to order more food. The 30 min that I was there, no other customer walked in , which was sad ... like I said, I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I will not be back :(

The complimentary bread was soft, warm, and incredibly fresh and the perfect start to the meal. The calamari was fried to perfection and was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. We also ordered the seafood tower, which was outstanding. One of the highlights was the selection of oysters, and Catherine did an amazing job helping us choose the best variety. Her knowledge and recommendations made a huge difference and elevated the entire experience. The seafood tower also came with three delicious ceviches, each fresh, flavorful, and uniquely prepared. The mussels were another standout dish, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. To top it all off, the Lure Blonde on draft was excellent and paired wonderfully with the seafood. As amazing as the food was, the real reason I'm taking the time to write this review is Catherine. I don't normally leave Yelp reviews, in fact, this is my very first one but her service was so exceptional that I felt compelled to go out of my way and recognize her. Catherine was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about every item on the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. She anticipated our needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel welcomed throughout the entire meal. It's rare to come across someone who combines professionalism, personality, and hospitality so effortlessly. Great food gets people through the door, but exceptional service keeps them coming back. Catherine delivered exactly that. Lure is fortunate to have her, and we'll absolutely be returning because of the experience she helped create.

The people who I assume own the restaurant, working as both the waiters and chefs, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. Since we were completely new to Indonesian cuisine, they patiently answered our questions and gave us great recommendations, which made the experience even better. This is exactly the kind of small business you want to support. The flavors were unlike anything I've had before, and I loved getting to try something so different. My favorite dish was easily the grilled fish. It reminded me of the Filipino grilled fish I grew up eating, so it had a comforting familiarity while still showcasing its own distinct Indonesian flavors. If you're looking for authentic Indonesian food or simply want to try something new, I highly recommend LaaLaaPan. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

The balado wasn't spicy, but the sambal definitely was. I also missed having sambal ijo and some gulai gravy, both of which would have made the plate feel more complete. The bakwan jagung had a similarly homemade style. Depending on your preferences, it will either make you miss your mom's cooking or leave you craving a crispier, restaurant-style bakwan jagung packed with corn kernels. The soda gembira, like many Indonesian places here, use Sprite instead of club soda or plain soda water, which makes it far too sweet. The syrup they used tasted authentic, though. Overall, you may love this place specifically because the food tastes like something you grew up eating. However, if your preference leans more toward polished, restaurant-style Indonesian food, it may feel a little underwhelming.

Paris, our server, was an absolute ray of sunshine. We decided to share a variety of dishes, which turned out to be the perfect way to experience the menu. I don't eat meat, but my fellow diners could not stop talking about the Braised Short Rib Rolled Lasagna. The Lemon Gnocchi was light and delicate, the beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, and the Crispy Squash Blossoms stuffed with ratatouille were absolutely delicious. The Cold Hamachi Aguachile was probably the most interesting dish of the night. It's almost like a fish snow cone, which sounds odd until you try it. My mom would call it "moreish" because every bite makes you want another. The Jumbo Prawns à la Plancha were also excellent. But the standout for me was the Eggplant Parmesan. It was completely over the top in the best possible way. If you told me to come back and order nothing but the eggplant and a martini, I'd happily call that dinner. What really stood out beyond the food was the pacing. Dishes arrived at just the right rhythm, the cocktails were excellent, and the playlist somehow added to the atmosphere without competing with the conversation. My martini was very cold, well-made and of a very generous size, so no complaints on that front at all. My wife ordered the Macadamia Crusted Halibut, with a double dose of starch: mashed potatoes and Mac & Cheese. The fish was fresh, meaty and nicely cooked, with a juicy interior and a very flavorful crust.
