This the second Lure Fish House I've been to and like that it has a brand new feel in this rather newer part of Porter Ranch. The food was fresh and my halibut was flaky and delicious. The reason we came to this Porter Ranch location was its participation in the 2026 DineLA with a nice choice to choose from. I did have a negative experience with the wait staff however, as he was always forgetting my order, late with the clam chowder after asking him where it is and not realizing my order never arrived. I'm not sure whether he was overworked, or just not with the program. In any event, the restaurant itself met with my expectations, and the ambiance is upscale and well maintained. I'm not sure I'll be back to this location, and will likely try another Fish House closer to home...
Marcus is an asset to this establishment . He is always so courteous , food is always correct (on my NO garlic stuff ) and he's very attentive . He checks last call at happy hour and gives great attention to all of his tables . He can run the entire bar area , we've seen him on weeknights without a hiccup . Marcus should be promoted if you need a manager- He is it! Ask for Marcus for a flawless experience .
I come to Lure in Porter Ranch every other month for lunch. I can't say anything bad about this place. Everything here is solid. Service, solid if not even really good for the lunch crowd. Food solid there are many things to choose from so you may have to find your exact thing. But it's all solid. Drinks solid. From the wine to the cocktails it's all solid. I can say it is always busy which is not a bad thing so having a reservation is recommended for sure. But you can probably walk in and get a spot in the bar or outside at anytime for lunch. I've had different fish dishes depending on what they have had available. the fish and chips and the lobster roll. All solid choices. I would say upgrade to the premium sides for whatever you get. They are much better than the standard sides.
Arrived Saturday afternoon for a graduation lunch. I was surprised, they were actually fairly full on an early Saturday. Riley was our server. Overall he was pretty good. We got a round of beers . Only mistake of the day - one beer / not what we ordered , but no big deal. We drank it without complaining. Ordered dozen of each of the three raw oysters and of the charbroiled oysters. The three oysters were all different. I preferred the raw over charbroiled. (While charbroiled was superior as for flavor ) Two plates of crab cakes Two lobster rolls. I miss lobster rolls from NE! Fries were good. Crispy fish sandwich with Brussels sprouts .(amazing side ) For dessert -Old fashioned. Quite tasty. $500+ OTD.

Another fabulous trip to Lure, which is becoming my favorite restaurant in the valley. Service is amazing and they always make the moment right for the customers! Food is out of this world, my recent obsession being the Blue Eye Trevalla... but the Sand Dabs are my other favorite. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. On a recent visit, my boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich and was mistakenly given fish, the manager swapped it out and compensated us for the mishap and even let us keep both with no fuss. I love Lure and I'm so happy it's found it's home at the Vineyards!
Yum! Warm sourdough buns to start off; taro chips different than fried corn chips; striped bass with asparagus & miso Brussels sprouts were all very delicious. Also, the Arnold Palmer was great tasting. Service was good and prompt; however my meal came way later than the others, so everyone else was done, and I was still eating. Ambience- we sat outside on the patio which was super nice because it was still cool and not crowded and noisy. Excellent meal and overall great dining experience!
Great service and perfect spot for a date. There is plenty of parking available. The decor of the place is beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly. The menu looks delicious and the options seem delightful. I wanted to try some items on the menu but unfortunately for me, I am lactose intolerant and have an allergy to Roma tomatoes. As you guess, many items had lactose and unfortunately the waiter couldn't find out if the tomatoes used were at all Roma. We had their Ahi ceviche, which was delicious and they were able to remove the pico and put it on the side. This dish alone was enough for a meal honestly. We had their Miso glazed Cod Skewers. I don't really like cod but this time it was delicious. Totally recommend it. Lastly we had their lobster ravioli and it was so delicious. However by then we were rather full and so we had to take it to go. Also, it had lactose so I rather risk it at home but honestly somehow it didn't affect me at all. Overall, I will definitely come back and I totally recommend it for a date night or if you want to impress anyone.
Michelle was our server and what a doll! She was friendly, attentive, and made my girls day. We had 2 of each of the oysters from today's menu and the volcano was our favorite (in case you're reading this as you're driving...or future reference) Popcorn shrimp, was good Chimichurri steak was chefs kiss (we over ordered), so yay for yummy leftover! Busy, good crowd. Good food. Wonderful server! Thank you, Michelle! We'll be back (for you!).
I'd visited The Lure once before, shortly after they first opened. While I wasn't overly impressed at the time, I decided to give it another try. I'd say it's now marginally better -- or at least about the same. We went on a busy Sunday night around 6-7 PM. Despite the crowd, we were seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. Our server greeted us right away, took our drink orders, and we placed our food orders shortly after. The restaurant mentions that their fish is brought in daily, which explains why they often run out of popular items. That night, they were out of Tilapia. They also thoughtfully asked whether we wanted our soups or salads served with our entrées or brought out first -- a nice touch. My side Caesar salad was enormous; with some chicken on top, it easily could have been a full meal on its own. Unfortunately, the wait for our main courses was quite long -- around 45 to 60 minutes. When the food finally arrived, we were served the Tilapia we'd been told was sold out, along with the wrong sides. It seemed like we may have received someone else's order, even though the rest of the table's food was correct. I had ordered the Tequila Lime Shrimp Pasta this time, wanting to try something different after enjoying the Salmon on my previous visit. The shrimp were nicely shelled and butterflied, with the tails left on. The linguine was tossed in a creamy sauce that had just the right hint of spice. It was delicious -- and surprisingly even better as leftovers the next day! The atmosphere was lively and a bit loud, but that was to be expected given the open layout and busy crowd.
First time trying this place. we were seated after 15 minutes without reservation. we chose patio since the ambience is noisy on a busy night. Our server is attentive, he also checked on us often to ensure we were taken care of. Food is great with reasonable seafood prices and have a plenty of drinks as well. Parking is good since it's situated along with other restaurants, amc theater and some stores. Overall, I will recommend this place, just make sure to be seated in the patio area if you want a little peace and privacy.
Overall I would say it was mid.. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. There are always tons of people here, and the staff is always helpful and kind. In fact I said hello to a server on her way out and she was so nice even though her shift was over. What makes the review mid was because of the food. Everything besides the clam chowder wasn't seasoned well. Just bland.
Came back here with some friends and it was a great lunch yet again. My friends were happy with their seafood salad and albacore poke bowl. My Spicy Salmon burger with jalapeno slaw was absolutely phenomenal. The salmon was perfectly prepared-- had a slight crisp texture on the outside, with a full-bodied, but not overpowering, savory salmon flavor on the inside. Enclosed inside the delicious bun, the salmon was so tender that it was falling apart as I was closing in for a bite,. Great delicious sandwich and it was accompanied by very yummy Brussel sprouts. The restaurant has a cool, nautical design with blue and white color tones. The customer service from our waitress was superb. She was kind and attentive. Will definitely come back here again!

Went here for annual birthday dinner earlier this week and everything was super fab. For dinner (if available) I usually default to the seared ahi tuna because it is so good - and our server brought extra spicy alioi and ponzu sauces because she said she thought they would go better with the fish. The miso Brussel Sprouts were worth the $2 upcharge - and I got Double because they forgot to bring out original potato cake at first. Plus, they have one of the best key lime pie desserts in the L.A. area. Delish! read more

Came in tonight for the first time, such a cute spot! Love the mood lighting. We had Rachelllll as our server. She was great. Attentive and sweet. Had the Cioppino with added pasta as an entree and it was delicious. Loved the warm complementary bread, who doesn't?! read more
Parking in the lot . Sat at the bar got a yummy blueberry drink may get the orange dream next looks delish ! Got the miso skewers apparently when in season they use sea bass!! What a fitting name. Indeed, seafood lovers get lured into this menu. You'll find everything from shellfish on ice to wild fresh catches, prawns, calamari, and Maine lobster tails. The freshness and quality has been top notch every time I've visited. Also top notch: the Clam Chowder. It's made creamy and chock full of oysters, celery, and potatoes. Pescatarians, beware: It has bacon in there. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone if you make it a cheat day ;) Now if you're a McD's Filet o' Fish kinda person, then the fried fish sandwich won't disappoint. First off, it's way bigger. Also, I loved the creamy tartar sauce and the fresh tomato & lettuce on the fish filet. The side of corn salad was not bad. The corn salad was more on the corn side, and less on the vibrant flavor side. Kinda like a wholesome British culinary take on seasoning. A dash of salt & pepper can fix that though. If the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is very lovely. However, indoors you can sit at a booth or the bar. Both can be good options. Flying solo? I'd sit at the bar then. Pick your poison, and let the bartender pour you a tall brew, cocktail, mocktail, Long Island iced tea, an Arnold Palmer, or you name it. Anything goes with fresh seafood. read more
Came here for dinner and decided to sit at the bar since the wait for a table was almost an hour. We ordered the calamari, fish, and a blueberry vodka drink, and everything was delicious. The food and drinks were really good, but the best part of our experience was the excellent service from our waiter, Franki. He was very attentive, friendly, and you can tell he truly enjoys his job. Parking can be a bit challenging since it gets very crowded on weekends, but overall it was worth it. Great food, great service, and a great ambiance. Highly recommend! read more
Came by on a Wednesday afternoon and parking was so much easier than our last visit lol. Jason was our server. Nice employee and happily assisted us with our food allergy. Came back and ordered the Wild Cod Fish and Chips (and shrimp) combo. Also ordered the local Peanut Butter cup beer. The beer was tasty with a little bit of sweetness. Light and crisp. The calamari was cooked crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. It comes with 2 sauces but the creamier sauce was the one I preferred and really good. Coleslaw was sweet with pineapple. The fish was fresh and crispy. Fries were perfect and salted ans crisp and soft inside. Shrimp was just as good. Tartar sauce and red sauce was perfect. Thank you! read more

Such high ratings and beautiful pictures, but for me, Lure Fish House was just ok. I don't live in California, and unfortunately when I visit again, I would not patronize Lure. First, the decor was everything! Nautical, light and airy -- a beautiful job. Service was decent. It seemed like during my visit, everything was sold out. As an example, their specialty beer (with peanut butter) was out, a white wine I wanted was out of stock, and they only offered a small selection of oysters. Meh. I ordered the cioppino. It was just ok--filled with rockfish, mussels, clams, and shrimp. It was not flavorful as I expected and the bread was hard. My dining companions ordered the rockfish special and tequila pasta, respectively. Both indicated that their dishes lacked flavor. Flavor was the overarching theme! I really wanted to enjoy my experience, but Lure Fish House fell flat for me. read more
im not a big fish person unless it comes to sushi, so I wasn't expecting much from this experience. HOWEVER, i was the one who ordered the trout almondine and it was absolutely delicious. it was perfectly cooked, soft, flavorful, and a very nice portion. i enjoyed the tuna ponzu just as well. the atmosphere was nice, very lively. the only downside i'd say was that the waiting area was FREEZING. otherwise, service was great - very attentive. parking is plentiful as it's in a huge plaza, but could be busy also due to this reason, depending on the time you go. read more

The absolute best cioppino I have had in the valley , so delicious and always great quality ingredients. We frequently go on Sunday and they have specials on oysters and other appetizers and a variety of offerings. We are always happy with the service and the presentation of the food. The outdoor dining area is very nice and a great place to eat when the weather is nice. Ample parking, but with all the other shops in the area it can get crowded. The lobster rolls come and go, but if they have them I highly recommend ! read more
Location 4: Located at the Vineyards in Porter Ranch, Northwest corner of Rinaldi and Porter Ranch Drive. Free self parking on the lot but you may need to walk a little. Venue 4: Indoor and outdoor seating. Nicely decorated. They do not take reservations for small groups and the restaurant is very popular, so be prepared to wait at busy times. Service 4: Our server was friendly, polite and attentive. Food: 3: Extensive menu, focused on seafood. They have a rotating list of fresh fish (5~6 kinds), which in my opinion should be larger for a seafood restaurant. Taste, preparation, and plating was good but not great. We had the Veracruz Fish Chowder (good), the Wild Pacific Rockfish (just ok... a little rubbery) and the Trout Almondine (good). Drinks: 4: Full bar with a large list of spirits and wines, and a good list of specialty drinks. They make a pretty good Old Fashioned! The Last Word: 3.5: A solid option for seafood if you are in the area. We do not have enough good seafood restaurants in the valley. I wish they could improve on the food a bit. read more

Food was good. First of, the New England clam chowder was really good, we love it! The lobster ravioli was also amazing , it came with a slice of sourdough bread . The lobster roll was a bit salty for my taste but the side of pineapple coleslaw chased that away. The miso salmon bowl had a big serving of veggies, healthy and yummy. The fish tacos were spot on and the albacore ponzu was another healthy dish. The veracruz chowder was spicy for me and it tasted like a pico de gallo soup, I'll stick with the New England chowder. Our server was also accommodating and we were greeted and seated promptly. We were celebrating birthdays so there was a free birthday sundae with candles and thank goodness the staff did not sing lol. We felt like we were in Marina del Rey, nice decor and ambiance. Definitely coming back to try more dishes and cocktails. Highly recommended read more
We've dined at Lure Fish House several times on different occasions. Today's visit we dined for lunch on a Wednesday and the time before that we dined for dinner on a Saturday night. Customer service here is consistent. They provide excellent customer service from the time you enter Lure Fish House and check in with the hostess until when you are seated and served by the waiter and others that deliver your food to the table. Thank you Jason for today's excellent customer service. Our lunch order consisted of Crispy Calamari, 2 Miso Glazed Salmon Bowl, Wild Cod Fish & Chips and Kids Mac n' Cheese with French Fries. The Miso Glazed Salmon was delicious and cooked with the right temperature of medium well. It was flavorful and proportioned. The rice, broccoli along with spinach is plentiful. Miso Glazed Salmon is my favorite dish at Lure Fish House. Wild Cod Fish & Chips is another go to for lunch. There's 5-6 huge pieces of Wild Cod and enough fries that's there's always leftover. Crispy Calamari is must for appetizers. Just the right amount of crisp and taste. Not too salty. The sauce and dipping they provide with the Crispy Calamari is on point. The Mac n' Cheese with French Fries is more than enough for kids. The freshly heated bread was great and replenished on a timely manner. Our previous visit before today's lunch was dinner on a Saturday night. Our waiter at that time was Eder. Eder was great and also provided excellent customer service. For dinner our order consisted of Trout Almondine, New England Lobster Roll, Linguine with Clams and Grass Fed Smash Burger. The meals were all delicious and plentiful. We also had leftovers. We look forward to dining at Lure Fish House with our family and friends at least once a month. read more

I met my nephew here for lunch, and as always, Lure Fish House is such a nice, quiet place to catch up. The atmosphere is pleasant, the décor is clean and simple, and the whole space just feels comfortable. I ordered the salmon with a salad, and it did not disappoint--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It's consistently one of my favorite dishes here. Lure is a great spot for both lunch and dinner when you're looking for quality seafood, good service, and a relaxing environment. Highly recommend! read more
Came here because I was gifted a $25 gift card and glad I had a reason because a very enjoyable meal. Place is in the vineyards, which can be very busy but ample parking if you're willing to walk. It's in the corner next to Mendocino farms. Restaurant is quite big and very clean and bright. Our server was Patrick and he was lovely. The free bread was delicious and they use compostable sugarcane straws, great for the environment. Wife got double smash burger with sweet potato fries and she said it was great. She is not much of a fish person so she appreciated the alternative. I got the pacific rockfish daily special and it came with two sides and got clam chowder and the Parmesan potato ball. All very delicious. Rockfish was well seasoned. Clam chowder flavorful and had tons of clams. All this was $45 after tax, so pretty good value. Will come back. read more

Excellent service, love the ambiance with open seating and seated areas separated. Open large windows for natural light. Very clean. Pat on back for the hard working cooks, sat at counter and was watching them make beautiful presentations of seafood dishes. I myself had the fish tacos and a bowl of clam shutter soup. It was lunchtime it was appropriate and I was very happy so delicious. I would highly recommend this place. My server was excellent attentive. My food came right away. If I want seafood that's delicious and won't break the bank, it's always Lure Fish House. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and worth every visit. The place itself is beautiful -- it has that relaxed beach‑house vibe that makes you feel like you're on a mini getaway. We've been here several times, and many of those visits we were served by Rechelle. She's incredibly kind and sweet, and honestly, she looks like Wonder Woman -- absolutely beautiful. Her service makes the experience even better. Lure is one of those restaurants I'll keep coming back to again and again. Highly recommended. read more
Came here for lunch solo. I got the salmon sandwich. The salmon and slaw in the sandwich bot I thought the bread was so so. Brussels sprouts with miso was excellent. Service was terrific. The ambiance was nice with the room having a very high ceiling . Overall a nice place to stop for lunch. read more

Decided on this place from searching seafood restaurants to try. A bit far from Pasadena but ended up being well worth it. Atmosphere was great. Not too fancy and just enough of an upscale feel to make our dining feel right. Had the grilled & raw oysters. Both were great and fresh. Also had both soups, clam chowder and the fish soup. Perfect consistency and flavor. We both had the Halibut and it was a 8 out of 10. Needed a bit more flavor and maybe a sauce to enhance the fish. Our favorite is Chilean Sea Bass so it would be great if they can add that to the menu. Will definitely be back to try a few different items on the menu. Definitely a big fan of the oysters!!!!
