Had a wonderful experience at STK Steakhouse and wanted to specifically recognize our server, Matthew. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, kind, professional, and incredibly patient. I had quite a few questions about the menu because of an email offer I received, and even when there was some uncertainty around what could be accommodated, Matthew went out of his way multiple times to make it work for us. That level of care and willingness to help really stood out. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and Matthew made the experience feel special. His service was attentive without being intrusive, and he was genuinely sweet and thoughtful throughout the meal. It's rare to come across someone who is both polished and so personable. I've known about STK for at least 10 years now, from my days in Georgia but this was my first visit. I honestly think they could have chosen a better location for what's supposed to be a more upscale restaurant. The interior was really nice, new, modern and trendy. But they could have done without the giant cow in the middle of the room lol. We went on a Sunday and honestly the only reason we went was because my husband saw they had a 3 course special for $49. Honestly such a steal and the reason for the 4 stars. If not for the pre fix menu, this was a 3 star meal. Service was good, not great. Our waitress could have been more attentive. I ordered the Caesar salad, salmon and mac and cheese. My husband ordered the filet, mini burger sliders and tater tots as the side. The food was good but not amazing. The salmon was overcooked, and the tator tots lacked flavor. It was good for the price though, but if we had to pay full price, definitely not worth it. read more

Loved it! Popped in for HH on a Friday with a few children. We only ate off the HH menu. Service was excellent, we had Matthew and he was extremely pleasant and attentive. In addition, the entire staff was on it! Most portions on HH are small, except foe the burger. That thing was HUGE! Kids loved the calamari, the popcorn chicken was seasoned extremely well, stk and fries was small but tasty, the mushroom arancini had great flavor and the oysters were good. We came in for happy hour a little bit before 9pm and we were sat promptly and at a long table . I was so happy we were sat with Mary our favorite server here! She's funny and kind and quick getting us whatever we need. 15 people strong and per usual Mary was amazing she always helps us figure our what would be the best choice for food and drink. We got to the restaurant and for some reason they couldn't find our reservation(I showed them the name and confirmation number on my email reservation even). We reserved inside seating and unfortunately they sat us outside at the tiniest table right in the sun. All the food and drinks we ordered didn't even fit on the table so it didn't make sense and was frustrating. They broke a glass and dropped our oil for our bread right next to our table with minutes of each other so it was a bit loud and hectic. I really wish we were sat inside where we reserved. Our first thing we got was fresh bread. It was strange because it was cold. Not even warm. So we didn't partake. We ordered the special Filet 8 oz with 1/2 a lobster tail. Unfortunately the lobster tail was flavorless and the butter needed salt. It just tasted like nothing really. The béarnaise sauce needed something acidic like lemon, vinegar or white wine. It fell flat and definitely was missing something. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and unfortunately it was SO fishy and the bottom was completely black and burnt. I was shocked when paying $80+ for a piece of fish I would expect it to be cooked perfectly and not fishy. One of the two sides we got was Mac and cheese and it was cold so we didn't even eat that unfortunately. The 8 oz Filet was amazing, cooked perfectly, properly seasoned and so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes with the Parmesan crust were some of the best mashed potatoes! The Parmesan crust took it to another level. We could have easily ordered two orders of these! read more

Terrific service. Pretty good HH. Prices are on the high end for the size of the portions but it was nice to try different items in smaller portions. My hubby joined their rewards program so we had $50 which worked on HH food no alcohol is included when using the $50 reward. Food was good although I couldn't taste the A5 Japanese wagyu in the mini taco so I won't be getting that again. Also on the slider my bun was very hard and crispy on the bottom (I don't know if this is normal for their sliders) not a fan. The short rib quesadilla was hot, juicy and full of flavor. I also like the pastrami salmon cones. Some of the truffle fries did not have the truffle flavor (needs consistency). The STK frites were fine but I think the filet was overdone and dry. Not enough beef flavor but plenty of sauce flavor. Crispy calamari was ok but I don't think id order again although the aïoli sauce was good. Drinks we ordered were mojito and Dragon Flare. The mojito was not too sweet which is exactly the way I enjoy that cocktail. My hubby liked his cocktail as well. His Dragon drink had strawberry and lemonade flavors and were very refreshing which he also thought a little sweet and tart. Love the casual and upscale feel of this place. read more

Interesting time trying out STK for happy hour. At first we were seated on the "patio," which is still indoors but out in the mall area. While the music was good, it was hard to hear it over some of the shrieking children; thankfully, two spots opened up at the bar so we could also watch the game. Service inside was very slow. There were two bartenders serving everyone, but they didn't really move with any urgency and were only sort of friendly. A group sitting near us left because no one addressed them and they couldn't even order drinks. We were addressed and served before a couple next to us, also. Good for us, but not a good look. Near the end of our time there, shift change and Cotte came in as bartender. He was friendly, fast, and helpful! As for the happy hour value, a lot of the items are definitely worth it. Cocktails are $9 (instead of the usual $23!!!), and food items vary from $3, like the Corn and Crab Fritters, which were ok, to $6, like the Short Rib Quesadilla, which was pretty good, to $9, like the STK Cheeseburger with chips, which was tasty. We upgraded to fries instead of chips for $3. I'm hopeful that the subpar service was just an off day and not the norm. We would stop in again for happy hour. read more

Our server was attentive, polished, and timed everything really well. Drinks and food came out smoothly, and they checked in often enough to feel taken care of without being intrusive. Honestly, the excellent service is a big part of why I'd come back. Food was solid and enjoyable, but not mind-blowing -- more "overall alright" than unforgettable. That said, it's consistent with what you'd expect from a place like this: you're paying for the full experience (ambience + service + presentation) as much as the meal itself. The only real downside is the price. It's definitely pricey, and you'll feel it on the bill, especially if you're doing cocktails and sharing sides. If you go in expecting that and you're there for the vibes, you'll have a great time. Bottom line: great vibes, excellent service, good food, but you're paying a premium for the atmosphere. Came here for our anniversary and decided to try their $49 steak night menu and honestly it exceeded expectations. The deal includes 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 sides, and a dessert to share, which is already a great value. You can also add cocktails or wine for $20 per person, which is a steal compared to their regular drink prices. We ordered sliders to start, then both got steak, with mac and cheese and tater tots for sides. Everything was delicious, and the portions are very generous. Our server Wayne was friendly and helpful. He walked us through the menu, answered our questions, and recommended the umami butter, which they melt tableside over your steak and was definitely worth trying. I did run into an issue with my steak. I ordered it medium, but it came out extremely undercooked. Because of the lighting, I didn't realize at first, but once I checked with my phone light it was basically mooing. I let Wayne know, and he immediately took it back, agreed it was under, and had it refired right away. When the replacement steak came out without the butter, I asked if the upcharge could be removed, and he didn't hesitate at all. He said yes, absolutely. I really appreciated how quickly and professionally he handled everything. He also surprised us with a little ice cream scoop and a "Happy Anniversary" plate written in chocolate, which was such a sweet touch. We also want to recognize a support staff member named Elvin, who truly stood out. While our service overall was great, Elvin's attentiveness and attention to detail really elevated the experience. You can tell he's experienced and takes pride in what he does. Everything felt natural and proactive, not like he had to be asked. He kept our water filled, noticed we were sharing while waiting for my steak and immediately brought an extra plate, and consistently cleared and wiped down our table. He even offered fresh utensils and steak knives without us having to ask and boxed our leftovers tableside. That level of awareness and care does not go unnoticed. I actually went out of my way to ask for his name so I could mention him here, and his reaction was so sweet. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work. Overall, the ambiance was great, the service was excellent, and the value for the price is hard to beat, especially on steak night Sunday through Thursday. Only tip, pace yourself. There is a $3 $6 and $9 item happy hour menu. My favorite were the dozen oysters, Birria quesadillas, STK burger and fries. The $3 and $6 items are tapas style so very small but decent flavors. $9 Burger was regular size but they do have the option of a slider. Espresso martinis were perfectly made not too sweet. Club vibe dj music playing in the background. Would definitely come back for another round of happy hour. read more

Went to STK for dinner with a group of friends -- 4 couples total -- and somehow the bill came out to almost $1,500 for 4 appetizers, 5 main courses, and 2 rounds of drinks. Looking at the menu afterward, it started to make sense: a Caesar salad was $36, a 16oz ribeye was $124, and even adding butter to the steak costs an extra $12. It feels like every little add-on comes with another charge. The decor is nice, but we were seated under bright purple/pink lighting that made the place feel more like a cheap nightclub than an upscale steakhouse. Unfortunately, the food quality itself was pretty mediocre and nowhere near worth the price. Overall, definitely not a place I'd return to for the value. These days where everything is so expensive you need to elevate everything to keep clients happy if you are charging so much and on every little thing the quality needs to fit the price. If you want charge prices like that start learning how a steakhouse should be from steak48. Fogo the chao is across the street and everything we had on this table in much better quality for probably half the price. read more

We waited almost an hour for the food to come out, to find out they got the order wrong, they said they'd fire would fire up my ribeye and it would be about 8 minutes, less than a minute they come out with the steak in this picture, saying it was fresh off the grill, it was cold and definitely not fresh, then the story changed to it was someone else's but that it was fresh, as if I'd be ok eating that steak. It cost 124.00 tax not included, the bill was almost 500.00 with a 77.00 tip, the manager said they would take the steak off, which he didn't, couldn't even get a receipt with out the waitress having to call her manager, she forgot to even give e the bill book. We just paid and left, I gave her 20.00 tip for trying. I doubt I'll ever eat here again, lol my wife almost got trampled by Jalen Green from the Pheonix Suns if that matters lol. The price range $3- $9 dishes including their specially cocktail seems such a great deal until you see how small the portions was and the quality of the food. Beef Tartare- $9 - This was pretty bad. The beef was definitely not freshly made. The color of the beef was served brown and had a sour after taste. Calamari - $9- 5 pieces of calamari. What a joke. STK & Frites- $9- 3 slices of cold steak served on top at two pieces of fries each. Even my kids said WTF. Lil Burger & Truffle Fries- $6- The should have called it mini burger and a couple sticks of truffle fries. The kale underneath was pretty weak. Limp and tasted like not much. -Short ribs were tender and decedent. Would've liked a touch of acidity to help cut through how rich the meat was. Make no mistake, this is not your Grandpa's steakhouse! No dark, overstuffed furniture here. This place is a modern take on steakhouse dining. Our kids graciously gifted us dinner and it was a unique experience. As you walk in, circular bar is center with flat screen TVs. To the right a dining area that is likely used for sporting events and left is an outdoor patio. The main dining room is past the bar with rounded booths as well as square tables for 4 or to accommodate large groups. We ordered from September's prix fixe menu which began with freshly baked bread and butter. Soft, warm and delicious. Next came Baby Gem Caesar (my favorite for the valley) and a divine shrimp cocktail. Entrees were NY Strip steak and Mushroom & Truffle Tagliatelle. Both had delicious flavor. Sides were asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese. Both tasty. We finished with The Cloud butter cake (wonderful) served with a sparkler for our celebration. Our server, Wayne, was warm and friendly but a couple of hiccups occurred during the evening. Linguini was served instead of tagliatelle and the wrong celebration message was delivered for dessert. We laughed over the mix up. The manager, Armando, apologized and gave us his card, asking us to contact him before returning and he would take care of us. Came in last month for Dine LA week and have been wanting to checkout STK. easy enough to make reservations and ample parking it the lots nearby. Finding the entrance was a bit tricky. They have two stories and one door from the outside of the mall but seemed like the first floor was closed and empty. You have to go inside the mall, up the escalator to find the entrance- should have more signage. Restaurant is pretty spacious, not very busy on a Wednesday night, but fairly loud due to DJ which made for more night club vibes and not steak restaurant where you can hear the person across from you speaking. For food we opted for the dine LA menu - burrata, tuna tartare tacos, shrimp scampi, skirt steak and added on a Mac n cheese. For drinks we tried the spiced watermelon and cucumber stiletto. Everything was tasty but the regular menu prices were a bit extravagant. No appetizers under $25, shrimp pasta for $55 which is the cheapest entree. Food was good but not worthy of those prices. Glad we got the try with the Dine LA menu prices but unsure if I would return for regular menu. read more

I was finally able to try this restaurant and I will say their happy hour price is amazing. The options for the food during happy hour is also great. The regular menu like on the steak is on the higher end in terms of price. My sister and wife joined me to try this place on a Tuesday. We didn't make reservations but they also weren't busy so they were able to sit us right away in the mall seating area. I wouldn't recommend this area or the middle when the sun is about to set since it will bother you. I got the wagyu burger from the happy hour and asked for no onion, it didn't say in the menu that there was pickle in the burger so just know that there is if you don't like it. I also got the 6oz filet mignon and asked for the taters tots. My wife got the shrimp scampi and calamari. The filet mignon was delicious, perfectly tender and cooked at medium rare. My wife thought the shrimp scampi was okay. She also thought the calamari was okay as well. I never got the tater tots, the waiter said she didn't hear me order it so I just said nevermind to it when she asked if I still wanted to order it. The service we received during our dining experience was okay, our waitress disappeared at times so it was great to see another waiter take over like refilling our drinks and taking away dirty plates. We had issues with paying through their little tablet. It didn't work and they tried 3 different machine. So the manager had to manually charge the card. I would gladly come back for happy hour only. Oysters are fresh, creamy and juicy - 5 stars. RIBEYE FILLET 10 oz is 4 Stars - it is tender, but lacks the original aged flavor, and the price is high, the price/performance ratio is not good. TUNA TARTARE TACO $9 (Happy Hour) is 4 stars. JUMBO LUMP CRAB CAKE is 5 stars, but expensive, or the price/performance ratio is not good.
