Came to celebrate my dad's birthday and it was absolutely a great time! Ordered my dad his first Yard beer and he was very impressed. I ordered the Truffle Burger for myself and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the salty and savory flavor! Our waiter, I believe his name was Aaron, was great. He was so attentive and made sure we all enjoyed our food. The only downside about this place was the AC was not as strong as you'd like but it was definitely tolerable. Can't wait to come back!
Can't go wrong with Yard House. Just a simple nite outside with the fam. Table full of laughter and crazy conversations. Make you're way down to the local Yard House
The Bottom Line 2.5 stars: The food, the drinks and the ambiance rock, but the parking, the online wait system, the tipping recommendations and the service can be better! I am a regular and they are (still) one of my go-to comfort hangouts! Read on for the details :) Location 3 stars: In Northridge Fashion Center, Northridge, CA in SFV. Self-parking is free but hard to find as there are way too many businesses there that attract large crowds, including an AMC Theatre. There is no Valet parking near the restaurant. Limited EV charging available but always occupied. Venue 3 stars: Large restaurant with a "Sports Bar and Grill" ambiance. Nice modern and inviting set up with outdoor seating, indoor booths and high tables and a huge wraparound bar and a lively clientele. It is a popular hangout where people stay long to watch the ballgame and socialize. Wait can be long on weekend nights and inside wait area is tiny, so patrons end up congregating in the open air around the entrance (not pleasant in cold and rainy weather). They do not take reservations and their online wait system is useless (see below). Online Wait system 0 stars: Their wait system is useless! It will tell you there is no wait, but they will hold your place...just arrive within 30 minutes. You get there in about 20 minutes and the hostess tells you that there are 14 groups ahead of you. So not only the system is incorrect, they do not actually add you to the list until you are physically there. So what is the point of a wait system??? Billing 0 stars: They have been doing this for a while now... On the check they recommend the tip amount based on the total after tax, which is not correct. Tipping is customarily calculated based on the total before tax. Some restaurants have attempted doing this recently which I find misleading and I will be calling them out on it. I have posted a picture of the check. Now, this may have been done by the terminal vendor and not the restaurant management but nevertheless I would recommend that the restaurant addresses this immediately to avoid having confused and unhappy customers. Service 3: Service is very server dependent. I have had wonderful friendly service and also slow, un-attentive service. You kind of have to "Roll the Dice" on this one. This time around, our assigned server was very good but she went on a 30 minute break immediately after she took our orders. The substitute server was not attentive. Food 5 stars: This is my go-to place for comfort food and a fun, relaxing time. While they are better known for their bar food such as burgers and appetizers (which are indeed great). They also have good steaks and chops and pasta. Prices are reasonable. Drinks 5 stars: Huge selection of beers! Portions range from 13oz. Goblets to 32oz. Half Yards! Very small selection of wines. Full bar of nicely made cocktails as well. Drink prices are reasonable.
The service here today was great! Staff was friendly & attentive even though it was busy. The food came out hot & fresh & I can't complain about that.
This place is simply THE BEST for HAPPY HOUR!!!! So many delicious items to choose from! We came for the New York Knicks game and the place was packed! The service was amazing and if you come here for a big game, the atmosphere inside is really fun! Some of my favorite entrees from the Happy Hour menu are the Chicken Nachos & Calamari & Pepperoni Pizza! The other things we got were good too but those two were my favorite! So many different beers to choose from and always a good time! Yardhouse Northridge is still a great bar/restaurant to go with friends and family!
I love Yard House in Northridge! Been going here since middle school.. I love the ambience, music & employees are always stellar. On my recent visit, it was packed with people including myself trying to make it in time for the coveted Happy Hour (half off all apps from 3-6pm) I joined the waitlist & due to a longer than anticipated wait time, we missed the window for happy hour, but our server was kind enough to honor it for us anyway! We were very grateful & appreciative. The Poke Nachos have been my go too for as long as they've been on the menu, they're delicious & consistent. I did notice they seemed to skimp a little on the toppings this last time but I still got full & it was a great deal for Happy Hour. As a pescatarian, I am eternally grateful to Yard House for having a variety of non-meat & Gardein brand items to choose from, I usually go for the Gardein wings which are delicious. Don't sleep on the pizza, my personal fav is the Margarita pizza but the Carnivore is a meat lovers paradise!
This place is like a quick go to happy hour spot whenever we don't quite know what we want. I've been to loads of the other locations scattered. Good thing about this place, you could alway find parking as it's part of the Northridge mall. Plenty of parking available. There's always a line but it does move pretty fast. If you don't want to be on the waitlist, you could alway walk up to the bar counter and see if any seating is available. I checked in for a table while the others were parking the car. Hostess were all pretty sweet and friendly. There was good crowd inside waiting for a table when I walked in. Was quoted about 15 min for first available which was fine. I literally walked out, sat on one of the bench outside waiting for the table when I got paged saying table was ready. Great, we were hungry. The menu is pretty much simple, everything and anything you like. Happy hour is a must if you haven't been. Discounts on drinks but everyone comes for the half off appetizers. Still full size and worth it. We came for dinner which was nice. I feel like some items were taken off the menu and replaced with others. And the prices did go up a little which is a given everywhere you go. Food doesn't take long to arrive as they crank things out fast. I normally get the jambalaya with pasta but they had a garlic noodle with beef that looked quite delicious. And it match the description. Tasty and the pairing with garlic and sweetness from the beef was nice. Mixed with sautéed veggies, it was delicious. The Mac and cheese were pretty filling. Massive cheesy bowl with pastas and bacons. The poke bowl, mixed greens with nice chunks of ahi tuna with all the trimmings. Clean and simple but delicious. Lastly the shrimp tacos. Decent flavor, comes with a side of rice and beans. They were preparing a new batch when the dish came out so our waitress bought out a side of fries to start until rice and beans were ready. Service was great and the food was good. We've always have a good time regardless wherever we sit. Outside patio is nice but it can get hot even with the umbrellas. We tend to sit at the bar but if it's a big group, a table would be better. Happy hour is a must.

Good service, clean bathrooms, good prices, many options, good highlights on the menu! I come to yard house a lot and it's such a big company that I'm really here to post photos of the food for you to look through. Cilantro lime chicken was SO GOOD especially if you want to be healthier. Quinoa as great fiber, chicken was juicy and seasoned well, and I LOVE cilantro so I knew that was gonna eat. Poke nachos- I never a leave yard house without getting them. I always start with them. Delicious, we got Serranos on the side if you don't want the spice.
I'm visiting from Arizona and my daughter took me to the happy hour. The restaurant allows you to bring your dog if you sit on the patio outside which has good shade and a large fan to keep you cool. We had the poke nachos, mushroom truffle pizza and the chicken lettuce wraps. All 3 were excellent tasting and quite large. Shout out to our server Shaday who went above and beyond, bringing water for my dog and checking up on us frequently even tho we were the only ones on the patio.
Great customer service. Wanted to give a shout out to Nicolette who was the breaker tonight for our original server. She has a warm smile and energy to her, she made our dinner extra special. I got the chicken and avocado sandwich with garlic fries, and a non alcoholic piña spritz.
Came in for happy hour! Kevin was my server and took good care of us! He was super hospitable made the food taste twice as good! Got the chicken nachos, carnivore pizza, and ahi sashimi! Love how lively the inside was!
Stopped by Yard House at Northridge Mall and had a really great experience. The food was fresh and flavorful -- I ordered a grilled chicken Cobb salad that was satisfying and balanced. What really stood out though was the service. SHADAY M was our server and she did an excellent job. Friendly from the start, attentive without hovering, and kept everything moving quickly. Drinks were refilled promptly, questions were answered with patience, and the overall experience felt welcoming and relaxed. It's always noticeable when someone takes pride in creating a positive experience, and Shaday definitely helped make the visit enjoyable.

Decided to try the happy hour at Yard House on a Friday afternoon, it was about a 35-40min wait time & pretty busy inside & played good music & had the game on. Our bill came out to $60ish for everything we ordered, which I thought was a pretty good price. We got two Dragonfruit Martinis, chicken nachos subbed the chips for fries (the fries were honestly a better upgrade 10/10) sliders, poke nachos, & a Margarita Pizza. The sliders were good but nothing crazy, while the poke nachos were an 8/10, a little too spicy for my taste, but my friend really enjoyed them. The pizza was a 6/10, I was expecting a more traditional margarita pizza & was surprised to see cheese pizza topped w/ chopped cherry tomatoes & basil.... Overall, the food was decent & the service was great. Our server was attentive, kept our waters refilled, & was quick to grab anything we needed. Solid happy hour experience for the price. read more

We stopped in for lunch last Saturday. It wasn't our first visit, but it was my first time leaving a review. We started with the calamari, my husband thought it was just okay. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing that wowed us either. We've definitely had better elsewhere. For our main, we shared the chicken fettuccine. It was heavy on the garlic, which my husband personally love, but the dish as a whole lacked depth, not very savory and a bit one-note. read more

There is a wait depending on how many are in your group and although this place is huge, no one seems to leave, lol! Even the bar is packed! They have a great assortment of items and drinks at a discounted price for HH. Service was good and quick! We shared nachos, sliders and fries - all decent portions and tasty. *You can pay right at your table if you have a debit or credit card. Also, easy to pay individually for your tab! Love that! *Plenty of free parking in the lot *Tres Casual! One of the happy hour spot that I & My friends hang out most... The happy hour food are huge and mouthwatering. Service is great, specifically in Northridge. Although they do not accept reservations, plenty of parking since it's located in the mall. Ambience is typical, nice to watch sports but can still converse with each other. I had a wonderful late night dinner at this Yardhouse with even better service from our server, Joey! He was extremely kind and attentive throughout the night; even though he was obviously pretty busy, he made sure to come to our table and check in every time he passed by. I had the Blue Cheese and Bacon Burger, which I highly recommend if you're a fan of Blue Cheese like I am. We also shared the poke nachos which were great and fresh; it may look like they need more toppings, but we ended up running out of chips by the time we were finishing the plate. Usually with nachos, the opposite happens, so I think there was a good distribution of ingredients. It was pretty lively in there for a Monday night, but still calm enough to have a good time without getting too overwhelmed. Thank you again to Joey for the excellent service and for another great trip to Yard House. read more
Came here today with a client for a lunch. Had a good meeting over a couple beers and some good food. Last time I was at a Yard House, I got the pizza and loved it. Went with a chicken avocado sandwich and a salad this go around, it was good, but I think I am getting the pizza again next time, I really like their pizza a lot. We were seated right away and the hostess was very nice, talked to me on the way to the table and made suggestions for beer as well as food. Our server came and took our order right away, got our drinks and food came out quickly. Very enjoyable experience, service food and drinks all on point. This location is on the edge of the Northridge mall, large parking near the theatre and everything else. Inside is the same as other locations, quite large, modern and sleek, dark interior, over 100 beers on tap, so you will find one you like. If you are not sure, you can try before you buy. Not sure how many tasters you can get, but at least you can check to make sure you like it before ordering. Enjoy! read more
Came for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was my first time at this location. The restaurant was huge! Tons of people dining even on a Tuesday. We got seated and tended to immediately. BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger - OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was extremely shocked once I took my first bite. Could not believe Yard House, a chain restaurant, could pull off a quality burger like this. The patty was juicy and tender (medium rare) and the bacon was so crisp. The bacon bbq sauce ratio was so on point. Every bite gave a savory sweet effect. A dream burger! It also comes with fries. I subbed to get truffle fries. They were so crispy as well! Four Cheese Spinach Dip - Cheese was melted to perfection. Chips were salty but once you grabbed some cheese, it was a perfect balance! Could not stop eating this!! Lavender Martini - Delicious! Had a little rosemary garnish. The one thing I didn't appreciate was the giant cube of ice they put in the glass. It looked awkward and was even more awkward to drink. My martini doesn't need to be watered down either. Just chill it and give me the drink haha Our waiter was attentive and made sure we felt taken care of, even when he went on break. He made sure to introduce us to the new waiter that would be looking after us. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Definitely coming back for the BBQ Bacon Burger!!! read more

I've been coming here for like, forever. I just wanted to shout out the poke nachos. The idea of yard house poke nachos give me a reason to wake up in the morning sometimes. Knowing there is a plate of poke nachos that will be made with magical perfection the next time I arrive is motivating in these trying times. Imagine some masago on the poke nachos tho?!? that would be incredibly yum. Shout out for the service it's always good. I just wish the diet cokes were more carbonated! I hate that the plaza has become so crowded for parking but oh well. I frequent here during baseball season and it never disappoints bc of my beloved poke nachos. read more

What happened to the Poke Nachos? The tuna was cut into such tiny pieces, and there was just too little compared to before. The previous portions had bigger pieces of tuna and just the right amount to be satisfying. You could actually taste the tuna! There were also only a few small pieces of avocado, and the sauce was way too little. Even the truffle fries serving has gotten smaller. Overall, the portions are noticeably smaller than before, which is really disappointing. Now, I'm hesitant to go back here again. Too disappointing! read more

Great spot to watch football! I came on a Sunday to watch football they have TVs through out the restaurant with multiple games showing. We asked one of the employees if they can change one of the channels to another game and they were more happy to do so! The happy hour here is probably one of the best as they have a lot of menu items for half off the price and also with alcohol beverages. Monday - Friday 3:00pm- 6:00pm. My go to menu item is the 10 traditional wings with the Korean chili garlic flavor. Best flavor hands down it has a sweet chili flavor. Another favorite item is their chicken nachos. It's a big portion easily shareable for 3 people. They are always loaded up with all the ingredients. Always satisfied when coming to this yard house. read more

I wish I could give a zero, but Yelp makes me give some type of star anyway.... i'm so disappointed in your house Northridge, which we go to quite often but tonight we encounter JAY Simon, who came up to us after we've been there and had dinner had a few drinks watching the soccer games and told us with our family that in order for us to stay there, we were only allowed one drink per hour, and we had to buy an appetizer which he did not do to anybody else that was there much longer than us!! I've never encountered this and everybody around us was even saying I can't believe they're doing this. We've never seen this so my husband said how dare you you're embarrassing us at that point we got our stuff and left to another establishment where we could feel more comfortable and to top it up, he tried to charge us twice!!! read more

After a concert at Cal State Northridge performing arts center, I came here for some late night bites with my friend. I haven't been here since the pandemic. Used to come here often with my elderly parents, but definitely would not bring them here anymore. The place is populated by a twenty something bad boy looking crowd. I Do not mean that in a derogatory way but did not feel safe at all. They were all chugging beers from their oversized beer glasses to top it all off. My friend and I were probably the oldest people in the room and we're not old by any means. For food, I had my usual offerings. Today I ordered the shiitake garlic noodles and the brussel sprouts. The food was great and no complaints there. The atmosphere no longer suits my stage of life I guess. Giving it four starts for service and food. read more
There are two main categories of restaurants that I prefer. One is the kind with a ton of atmosphere, something exotic and unexpected, glam maybe, with color and light working magic, that, of course, has good food. The second is very simply a place with no atmosphere at all, but with great food. A place you can just fall out of bed and head to for a relaxing time that is satisfying just because the menu items are great. And then there is Yard House: which is both! I did not expect to love this one as much as I did. I had been to the one in Pasadena eons ago and remembered it mostly as a beer and burger joint. Passable, not memorable. But, the Northridge Yard House broke that mold. And, we have one coming to Santa Clarita that I am now counting the minutes for. Why did I love it? The parking was a breeze, the place is gi-normous, inside it has velvety dark vibes with blue lights here and there. Sort of mysterious in a sports bar way. My kind of atmosphere! And it is very clean and cool, air circulation was perfect, just the right temperature and nothing annoying. There was music but it didn't intrude in any way. There are screens all over and the tables have their own electronic pad to both advertise, remind you of what you ordered, and tally the tab. How cool is that? And then, there is ... wait for it ... a flabbergasting menu. They have thought of everything. As a vegetarian/vegan, I was almost giddy when I went through the pages of the leather-like booklet that listed everything offered. New things, old things, unusual things, usual things -- it is all right here. If you can imagine it? Yard House serves it. Our meal even prompted us to order things to take home. The service was perfection. Clarissa handled our many questions and requests, multiple layers of ordering (eeeeeeee) and didn't miss a thing. She was also the soul of cheer and patience. What a great representative of YH! She's going places, believe me. OK, so then there was the quality and quantity of the food. Generous portions of flawlessly executed and superbly flavorful dishes. Every single one from soup to dessert -- and, they thoughtfully give you calories and options to keep it on the lean side. I always eat half my order anyway, and take home the other half, lest I break my scale. I took pictures of most of what we got (left out my Cheesecake Brulee because I ordered it to go), so look at the photos for you to get more idea of this experience. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, late, and the place was jammed packed. Nevertheless we got a great, big, spotless table, immediately. If you come at 3:30 you will not have to worry about a line. I can't promise that at any other time. There are few places that I get excited about, but this is one of them. They know what they are doing and the chain seems to be growing, even in these dicey times. I love it, truly love it. (Can you hear the excitement in my voice? We will be back, often! You can skip the waitlist by grabbing a spot at the bar, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is cozy, dimly lit, and inviting. The ribeye steak, poke nachos, and traditional wings are absolute standouts, some of the best I've had. Ribeye for quality, wings for the crisp, poke nachos for the flavor. However, the chicken and salmon plates were dry and disappointing, with mediocre sides, I've had school lunches that I would rather eat. The cheesecake brûlée was a miss, burnt and grainy. Stick to their strengths, and you'll leave happy. Highly recommend for the vibe and their top dishes! read more
I love the food. Everything is so flavorful and filling. Plenty of food to choose from. It gets loud when super busy. I went with my friends and we had fun. Our waiter was new when we visited but he did everything he could to serve us fully and professionally. Will definitely visit again. read more
First time coming up to the Northridge one from OC to meet a friend who's never been. We suggested many delicious items and drinks and our friend was converted! I had my usual poke nachos, hubby had a chicken sandwich and our friend had teriyaki chicken. We all shared an order of the lobster garlic noodles, sooo yummy! We had their new Orangecicle Martini and a watermelon Margarita, both got a second serving! The service was friendly and very patient for our friend who didn't know what to order cause everything looked so good. We finished our yummy meals with their bread pudding dessert, it was delicious. I met up with family here for lunch around noon on Friday. It was perfect with no wait time. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I like that they have a separate gluten sensitive menu which made ordering easy for me! I got the chicken avocado sandwich lettuce wrapped with fries. The sandwich was very well seasoned but not salty. The food is decent here and it's a good option for a group that has various diet restrictions. This my favorite place to get mojitos. The food is decent wouldn't say it's out this world. This location gets busy fast especially on the weekends. The staff aren't great I would say they're OK. Honestly would come here for just a Mojito & an appetizer. But I do wish the vibe was better here. read more

Went here for happy hour for the first time and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food was really delicious and the drinks were good too. The atmosphere was nice and I would definitely come back for the food. The only downside was the service wasn't the best. read more

Absolutely not. This is not a place to celebrate an anniversary. Its loud and the last place you would want to take them. There are so many other nice restaurants.

It looks like it. There a separate gate/door that will take you in or out to the outdoor patio. The best thing would be calling the restrauant and asking then directly.
