This was my second time at this restaurant. First time was great which we enjoyed the food. I can say their breakfast is quite nice. It's a pretty big menu so there's loads to choose from. Breakfast lunch and dinner. During our first visit, I noticed that there were a good amount of people ordering the entrees during breakfast which looked great. Fast forward to today, I had to try some. We stopped by for a late lunch which there was a good amount of people. Of course when you get there, just going through the menu was pretty exhausting...lol... I was going back and forth for breakfast or entrees. The whole point was to try something else. Opted for an order of the hummus which was served with pita and an order of the fried mushrooms. Honestly the mushrooms was a slight disappointment when it came out. It was ok but nothing much to it. Hummus was quite nice though. And the order of the seafood pasta. Served in a red sauce with calms, mussels, shrimp, and fish tossed in linguine. Flavor was ok, seafood was good though. For the price 24.99 it was ok. Also, you could add a glass of mimosas to any entrees for 1.00 which was an excellent deal. The food was good. Breakfast on the other during our first visit was great. This lunch was ok. But I did see some other entrees that were brought out that looked quite tasty. Maybe I'll have to get that a try next time. Service was great. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in the lot. There's also patio seating available.

From vegan perspective: Vegan options, 4 main dishes and other appetizers, salads, Mediterranean breakfast and wrap are clearly market vegan. Great for mixed groups large and small. I had meatless primavera. The first chef forgot the linguine. Manager offered to replace it with proper dish after I figured something was amiss. First time having square "meatballs", but the dish was tasty and filling the second time with the linguine. In their defense they gratis that meal. The non vegans had great choices too.

Delicious fast breakfast! We got seated right away and they came by with coffee quickly. The server grabbed our order and everything came out delicious and fluffy. The pancakes were so good! Perfect place for a casual weekend breakfast.

Stopped by for a quick brunch. I saw they had Soujouk on the menu and was so excited. The Soujouk Omelette was amazing! I loved it. The dutch apple pancakes were delicious. Great apple flavor and not too sweet! 10/10 would come again! Good parking and fast service.

Great staff. Great food. This place is our family's brunch stop when we visit our daughter going to CSUN.

I enjoyed the coziness and home feeling to this restaurant. They had a great selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It seemed to be Italian based/inspired (or I believe the owners are Italian?) which means the actual food options seem very tasty. It was a little difficult to choose but ended up splitting pasta and a burrito with my friend I love Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and although this was pretty tasty, it definitely had a unique after taste to it. I couldn't pin point exactly what it was but it didn't take like a typical spinach and ricotta ravioli dish that's I've had at other places. It wouldn't be a dish I would run back to, but, I am happy that I tried it and ultimately I still finished the entire plate! I liked the burrito as well! I LOVE cheese so next time I believe I would just ask for extra cheese! As far as parking, it's in a lot with other business' so there are an average amount of spots and I can see it be a struggle to find a space if it is peak hours on a weekend. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the valley!

Terrible service in the evening. They brought my husband's salad well after I had finished my cup of soup, then they mistakenly delivered his food to another table! And the other table just accepted it and ate my husband's food. Terrible. The lamb shank was drowned in a red sauce and not very flavorful at all. So disappointed, when we were in the mood to celebrate.

    Yes definitely

Is this place good for working on my laptop or some studying?

I think there's plenty of space for studying, I don't know that the owner would be ok with it. It's not exactly a coffee house type of vibe. It is more of a diner type of vibe.

Kinda bummed they didn't bring me sooner! It is by no means a fancy restaurant but the food is incredible. Persian restaurants are known for their generous portions but man, this place really gives you a lot. Everything was extremely flavorful, tender, and moist. Nothing fancy and down to earth as is the food which takes its cues from the standard Persian repertoire, but done through a humble homemade filter. The portions are extremely large here to show hospitality. You will never leave hungry here. There is more than enough to take home for another lunch to save from cooking another meal. 0) On the House: Large Plate of salad of crisp, chilled iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber with a nondescript creamy, tart dressing. Pita bread basket. 1) Tahdig: Almost all rice based cultures covet the crispy, crunchy rice found at the bottom of the flamed cooking pot. Basically, to recreate this crunchy rice on a large scale, Tahdig is now fried Basmati rice. You can opt to order thickened stews to put on top of the Tadig. I ordered two that came in good sized bowls for 50 cents each...Such a deal!!! 1a) Fesenjan: A mostly sweet and bit sour thickened stew of mostly pomegranate syrup, ground walnuts, often chicken. Pomegranate symbolizes fertility, rebirth and life in Persian culture, 1b) Ghormeh Sabzi: Less viscous stew made from Sabzi which is any kind of green vegetables but, in this case, spinach, kidney beans, dried limes, and bit of beef. 2) Joojeh Kabab: Cut up pieces of bone in Cornish Game Hen seemingly marinated in yogurt so even the usually dry breast meat is moist, firm yet soft. Bravo! I just wish that some garlic, thyme, oregano, Za'atar, etc. would also have been mixed into the marinade for more complex flavours. Dry, nutty Basmati rice is the default, but I wanted to try their Shirin Polo which is a sweet, orange flavoured Basmati with candied orange zest, and generous amount of Pistachio nuts. I thought it would have been analogous to Canard à l'Orange or French Orange Duck. In their attempt to show home style generosity, the sweet, orange flavour was amped up to the point it became almost a dessert. A more subtle Shirin Polo would have made it a more sophisticated dish. Iranian Black Iced Tea: A richer, slightly stronger tasting tea than the standard wussy Lipton style orange pekoe tea. What lacked in awareness of the higher Persian cuisine, 3+ stars, was made up for by the inexpensive prices and the sheer volume of acceptable food presented. Service is fast, efficient if not particularly warm and personable. 4- stars PS Come for lunch when many of the items are discounted.

Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. The mushrooms were cold, I wish they served them hot and found that surprising. And the eggplant was ok. The portion was filling and it was an ok meal overall.
