Delicious fast breakfast! We got seated right away and they came by with coffee quickly. The server grabbed our order and everything came out delicious and fluffy. The pancakes were so good! Perfect place for a casual weekend breakfast.

From vegan perspective: Vegan options, 4 main dishes and other appetizers, salads, Mediterranean breakfast and wrap are clearly market vegan. Great for mixed groups large and small. I had meatless primavera. The first chef forgot the linguine. Manager offered to replace it with proper dish after I figured something was amiss. First time having square "meatballs", but the dish was tasty and filling the second time with the linguine. In their defense they gratis that meal. The non vegans had great choices too.

Great staff. Great food. This place is our family's brunch stop when we visit our daughter going to CSUN.

Terrible service in the evening. They brought my husband's salad well after I had finished my cup of soup, then they mistakenly delivered his food to another table! And the other table just accepted it and ate my husband's food. Terrible. The lamb shank was drowned in a red sauce and not very flavorful at all. So disappointed, when we were in the mood to celebrate.

Stopped by for a quick brunch. I saw they had Soujouk on the menu and was so excited. The Soujouk Omelette was amazing! I loved it. The dutch apple pancakes were delicious. Great apple flavor and not too sweet! 10/10 would come again! Good parking and fast service.

Service was great. The waiter was incredible memorized everything perfectly without having writing it down. The toast was good eggs were scrumptious and the mocha latte was wonderful. It's a cute little restaurant.

I enjoyed the coziness and home feeling to this restaurant. They had a great selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It seemed to be Italian based/inspired (or I believe the owners are Italian?) which means the actual food options seem very tasty. It was a little difficult to choose but ended up splitting pasta and a burrito with my friend I love Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and although this was pretty tasty, it definitely had a unique after taste to it. I couldn't pin point exactly what it was but it didn't take like a typical spinach and ricotta ravioli dish that's I've had at other places. It wouldn't be a dish I would run back to, but, I am happy that I tried it and ultimately I still finished the entire plate! I liked the burrito as well! I LOVE cheese so next time I believe I would just ask for extra cheese! As far as parking, it's in a lot with other business' so there are an average amount of spots and I can see it be a struggle to find a space if it is peak hours on a weekend. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the valley!

Finally made it to Emle's in Northridge and ordered the Chicken & Waffle Eggs Benedict -- and wow. Voted best breakfast since 1955 and definitely lived up to the hype. It was late afternoon when I went, so it wasn't crowded, but the service was still A1 -- super attentive and friendly. Great food, solid vibe. I'll absolutely be back.

We arrived at 11 AM on Saturday & and didn't have to wait for a table. Service was quick, and multiple servers/managers checked up on us regularly. The TVS had the Olympics on & light music played in the background, which was great. Mimosas were mixed well, not all OJ, which was lovely. Corned beef hash was fabulous in the benedict, and the addition of the house salsas really added to the flavor levels. Benedict Hemingway had large pieces of crab meat & salmon and a creamy flavor. We did wish there were a few more capers added, though, as there was maybe 4-5 on the whole plate. Delicious food & good service overall!

What fantastic customer service and absolutely delicious food! I can't wait to come back!

Its an amazing place and outstanding customer service . The food is amazingly delecios . Love it . Will be back for sure .

Is this place good for working on my laptop or some studying?

I think there's plenty of space for studying, I don't know that the owner would be ok with it. It's not exactly a coffee house type of vibe. It is more of a diner type of vibe.

Natalie also noted the fact that one of our family member has a peanut and tree nut allergy. We love dining at restaurants that accommodate people with peanut and tree nut food allergies. We have added Lemon Zest to our favorite restaurant list as we know Lemon Zest caters to families with food allergies. We also have shared and told our family and friends about Lemon Zest. The portions of their meals are plentiful and more than enough. The kabobs chicken and beef were all so tender and flavorful. The chicken and beef were not overcooked. The basmati rice was also cooked perfectly. We can't wait to come back to Lemon Zest and try other food items on their menu.

My favorites are their kabobs and different modifications (think sour berries) of generous amounts of basmati rice that accompany their entrees. The Mast O' Mooseer (yoghurt with shallots) is another of my must haves. Generally, I always get the koobideh kabob to go, but this time, I was in the mood to sit down and have some chunks of meat. I chose the Shish Kabob, which is advertised as grilled filet mignon pieces. The restaurant prepares it medium well and past experience revealed it to be dry and tough. So I asked for it medium rare, for the first time. The dish that came to my table had marvelous optics. The beef was well charred, had an intoxicating aroma and well distributed coloring amongst the seven generous pieces. But there were a few problems. For one, I could not comfortably cut into the beef without using excess force, and shredding it. I asked for a sharper (steak) knife and was told that was all they had. While the meat was juicy, it was extremely chewy. I even questioned whether it was filet mignon, because it did not look and behave like it. I was told it was. If that was the case, could it have been a bad cut? This substantiates why I am leery about ordering meat pieces. Amongst the other items, the thick creamy yoghurt did not disappoint. Same with the grilled onion and tomato. The saffron rice is always fluffy and abundant. The green salad was crisp and refreshing. Take home message? Looks like I will have to skip the Shish Kabob and stick only with the koobideh, if I am ever in the mood for skewered grilled beef.

Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. There is a wide range of cuisines that come out of the Kitchen Place (they rent small spaces) and it is the new home, for Kababe Grill. Keep in mind that all eateries that serve from the Kitchen Place only entertain take out orders (with no dining spaces). Luckily, Kababe Grill kept the same phone number and I was able to locate them here. As it transpires, I have been coming to this address for a while for another take out ethnic cuisine, from this cloud kitchen,. My carry out of the beef Koobideh plate lived up to its usual expectations. Was slightly over grilled (generally, I remind Persian restaurants about my requirement for juiciness in the kabob and forgot to do so on this occasion). I substituted the usual rice with Zereshk Polo, my absolute favorite. Grilled vegetables were good, but scanty in size. Growing pains? Service was friendly and courteous, as before.
