Amazing breakfast burritos. I've been waiting for this place to open in Chatsworth. High quality ingredients and delicious food. Friendly staff and a nice, clean restaurant. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.

Fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully conceived. I ordered 'La Dieta' just veggies no meat this time. Handcrafted salsas on the side and a cafe de olla to top it all off. Perfect execution on all fronts. A guy came in and ordered 16 burritos! Almost like the pharcyde song - times are tough after all. Bonuses include a young energetic, and hospitable crew. I'll be coming back for the bacon burrito soon.

Big Art Tacos y Burros has come a long way...they honor his parents by cooking with love, having a fantastic work ethic and making their dream a reality!! And, the support of their loyal customers!!You can feel the joy as they make their burritos!! It's not just a burrito, it's their legacy!! After years of hard work with their wildly popular food stand, they opened their first restaurant in the San Fernando Valley on Sunday!! And, what a fun GRAND OPENING! Ribbon Cutting Mariachi Band Caricature Artist Photo Opps Free Cafe de Olla and Aguas Frescas And, of course burritos! We tried: * BIG ARTS OG - STEAK / ASADA $12 * EL CRUDO - ASADA BACON CHORIZO $13 Make sure to add their green sauce on everything!! We will definitely be back!! Parking can be difficult during peak hours. No tables inside so most people get them to go.

Heard about this spot from a friend so had to check it out. We love breakfast burritos so only made sense to try it! He got the asada breakfast burritos and I got the one bacon. Both came with eggs, tater tots and cheese along with pico de gallo. I liked how the tortilla was crispy. I have to give it an 8. It wasn't the best breakfast burrito but would I come back if I was craving one? Yes. The size is reasonable as well. Not too huge nor tiny. It is situated in a small plaza with parking but it can get packed considering there's other businesses there. I went on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was full. Anyways, glad I got to try it as a breakfast burrito fan.

So happy to have something new on this side of the valley, needless to say that this side of the tracks are not known for good eats... Imagine my excitement when I saw this signage go up! I was initially recommended to come here as my husband was an avid customer at the mission hills food stall. Here goes, turn around time is amazing, your food is made to order and moved along the chipotle style line... not too many choices which makes the food ordering a lot easier, they make bowls but this place is known for their burritos! Staff is super welcoming and they greet you as you walk in, order to the left and then make your way over to cashier while watching flour tortilla get filled with your choice of meats, crunchy Tator tots and delicious salsas. Best part of my breakfast no lie was the cafe de olla! Like what in the world? How can this taste so good? Perfected the recipe for sure!!!

Busy at 10:30am. Got busier in the time I was standing in line

Great new place in Chatsworth, CA Fire! Actually went to their grand opening day, but after 12 so they had closed already. So I've been jones-ing about those breakfast burritos since then. They did not disappoint! We got the OG, the Chilaquiles burrito and the El Crudo. OMG! These breakfast burrito's are it! The Asada is super tender and flavorful, and all of the flavors in each of the burritos are awesome. We actually liked the OG burrito the best, as the flavors are simple and so delicious. The El Jefe - Chilaquiles burrito was really good too, the guy making the burrito asked what kinds of meats I'd like, and I told him to put in whatever he thought would be good! Awesome! Will definitely be back again and again!

Came on a Wednesday around 10:30! Inside was so simple and clean The staff was very friendly and helpful! The burritos were about the size of my head! Two burritos for around 30 dollars They tasted so good the steak was well seasoned and the combination of burrito and salsa was fire! So happy this place is in Chatsworth!

I always love to go support my new local places. Today I got to go to the grand opening and get some really delicious breakfast burritos. This was actually my second time going. I feel like the burritos were even better than the first time. I wanted to get a few things to try and find out which was my favorite. I ordered the el Jefe burrito with chorizo, carne asada, and bacon. It was loaded with deliciousness. It also had tater tots and pico de gallo with their house sauces. I also wanted to try the chilaquiles burrito. This one looked so interesting I had to try it. It was really tasty. I thought I would be able to pick a favorite..... but between the two I could not decide because they were both super flavorful. They are very filling. I love their salsa verde. I will definitely be going to try more menu items but the El Jefe and chilaquiles are a must! It was so fun with the live music today and coming out to support my new local breakfast joint. All the employees were so friendly and they looked like they were all having fun. The line was out the door but it moved very quickly. I recommend trying this place. I will definitely be back for more! I almost forgot... they have the old fashioned coffee cake you used to get in school. Ohhhhh so moist and delicious. I bought a few slices and every crumb was eaten!

El Crudo burrito (steak, bacon & chorizo)

This came across my feed yesterday afternoon and looked interesting. So, I went over this morning on my way to work. I love that they open early! How can you order breakfast from a place that opens at the same time or later than you have to be clocked in? As soon as I walked in, Art greeted me. He asked if I'd ever been there before. When I told him I hadn't, he explained what came in the burritos and said the OG (asada/steak) was the #1 favorite. I ordered 2 of those for a couple of guys at work and the El Crudo for myself. While I waited, Art and the cashier were very friendly and personable, engaging in casual banter as he assembled the burritos. You could see the back of the house was busy preparing everything that Art was going to need. After my food was bagged and I had settled up, Art & the cashier both wished me a good day and reminded me to stay cool in the unseasonable 95° March weather. Nice of them to be concerned for their customer's safety & well-being! As for the food... my burrito was muy delicioso! The tortilla had far more protein than anything else. Most breakfast burritos seem to be 75% potato, rice, or even eggs. This had a lot of meat, enough eggs for you to know you were eating breakfast, and just enough tater tots to add some crunch. The pico and the avocado salsa gave it the freshness and acidity it needed to make it balanced. I didn't try the salsas. I gave those to the workers. I'm a gringo and can't do hot. The ONLY negative thing I would say about my burrito is that the flavor of the chorizo overpowered the asada and bacon. While bacon adds crunch, bacon is all about the flavor! Next time I think I'll get the El Firme with asada and bacon. Last but not least, the ambiance... the location is a small storefront in a strip mall. There's plenty of parking in the lot. As I walked in, I noticed there was counter seating to the left, underneath the Big Art's wall mural. That looks like it would be good for some IG or Yelp selfies! I don't recall if there were other tables. I don't remember having to walk around or avoid any, but I can't say for sure. Hey, I was barely awake! All in all, it was a very enjoyable visit. From the friendly conversation to the delicious food. I gladly recommend them and will certainly be back!

This is the double protein one with steak and chorizo.

Oooh the burritos are amazing. The eggs are so nice and fluffy, not the dry stuff. And the meat is not greasy. Definitely won't feel regret after eating here. And the service is amazing too.

Parking is very limited. This shopping center has a lot of eating options. First impressions of the place. Very clean and inviting establishment. Glass was clean. The inside was absolutely spotless. I tried the Chorizo burrito. Pretty average, even with the green non spicy salsa. Price points for what you get, including underwhelming flavor is a tad bit too high. I was able to subtly taste the chorizo flavor. But even the Pico de Gallo flavor didn't really come through. That being said. I wouldn't recommend someone driving that deep into the SFV for these burritos.

When Pigs Fly - BACON BREAKFAST BURRITO

FINALLY! I love Breakfast Burritos so it's nice to have a place like "Big Art's" in Chatsworth now! Amazing service, the staff were super friendly and I just loved their energy :) I ordered "The OG (Steak)" & "When Pigs Fly (Bacon)" breakfast burritos and both were delicious but man, the OG was really good! I will definitely come back for that one! Loved the green salsa too! Great breakfast burritos here! I was so happy with my experience, definitely gotta check this place out!

Big Art's just had their soft opening for their new brick+mortar so I had to pull up. The mariachi band was pumping early morning energy with their huge wooden guitars. There was free Mexican Coffee and Agua Frescas plus a cool ribbon cutting ceremony with Art and I think his parents, wife and daughters. His youngest cut the ribbon to officially open the store! ========= LOCATION ========= In a small strip mall that houses a spa and Peruvian spot... the best Breakfast Burritos in the Valley have found their home. Inside is kind've small but ample room for burrito production. The counter setup is similar to a Chipotle/Subway where there's a glass counter inbetween while the burrito sculpture makes deliciousness out of bins of savory ingredients. The inside also has kind've a "wall of fame" type thing with a bunch of framed pictures from the OG Sepulveda street stand which was pretty dope. Theres no dine in, which was a bummer but I took my food over to the Munch Box tables about 20 seconds away and sat down and ate there. =========== THE ARTistry =========== ~ CHORIZO + BACON BURRITO -- Definitely my favorite. As soft and tender as the Asada is (A+) there's something magical about chorizo mixing with bacon, tots, fluffy eggs and salsa. (10/10) ~ CHILAQUILES BURRITO -- Got it with steak, absolutely amazing. (5/5) ~ FRENCH TOAST BURRITO -- No longer a "Secret Menu item" like at the OG stand in Mission Hills. It's featured prominently on the menu due to its success over the years. It has a French Toast INSIDE this sweet & savory burrito and is adorned with syrup and powdered sugar. The eggs and bacon give it a savory taste to balance the sweetness and it's a nice somewhat dessert'ish complement to all the other savory options. (5/5) ~ EL CRUDO BURRITO -- Arteries be damned. This one has it all, chicken, steak, bacon, chorizo. It's heavy but delicious. The "Itis" is coming. (5/5) ~ SALSA VERDE -- Old reliable, the tomatillos stand out. Slightly tart but in all the right ways. (5/5) ~ SALSA ROJA -- Their red salsa. Not too spicy but full of flavor. (4/5) *** I noticed they have a Blashphemous "bowl" option for folks that are willing to forgo the delicious, giant, buttery, silky smooth tortilla that dreams are made of. #theAudacity =============== FINAL THOUGHTS =============== I'm happy that after years working the Sepulveda corner (insert joke here) off of Devonshire... from pop up stand, to caterers to top breakfast burritos in the San Fernando Valley, they've taken the chance on a storefront and Chatsworth / the San Fernando Valley is all the better for it. The worker's were young and very hospitable and were pumping burritos out fast. The girl who rang me up was very nice, friendly and bummed they were out of coffee cake when I asked for a slice. The crew here is great, often an issue when eateries open up a 2nd location. My only issue was something tasted just a slight bit off taste-wise just a slight bit not as flavorful as the OG location. Seemingly same ingredients but the chorizo and other ingredients were quite as good. B+ compared to an A+, taste-wise. Hence me knocking off a star. The prices here were consistent with the OG stand/tent in Mission Hills, which was a blessing. The "3 meats," Chilaquiles and French Toast burritos were all a dollar more than everything else, which was all $12 each. I was worried there would be a "Brick & Mortar" up-charge that many street places tack on when they open their first store but they didn't do that here mercifully. Art has come a looooong way with hard work, dedication, love for his craft and the community and in turn us loyal patrons reciprocated it back with the long lines and our support of his small business. Can't knock the hu$tle. Definitely excited about the future and I know it's only a matter of time til their inevitable 2nd, 3rd etc stores open.

I came for lunch Friday afternoon around noon with 3 others and it was pretty busy as it was peak lunch time. You can tell it's a popular spot. You order at the counter first and then get a spot. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was super windy the day we came, so no one was sitting outside. I got the Alex burrito without cheese and sour cream for $13.25. Asked for a recommendation for the meat and was told their al pastor is really good, so I went with that. I liked that they call you as they're making your burrito, so you can customize it further (which kind of salsa, onions and cilantro, do you want it cut in half, etc.). As a picky eater, I really appreciated that. We all got burritos, and one friend paid an extra 3 bucks to make it wet. Chips come on the side, and you can help yourself to salsa at their fresh salsa bar. This is the first taqueria I can remember that has a mild tomato salsa without raw onion and very little cilantro. I was excited to see that finally there's a salsa I can eat. My Alex burrito was one of the best burritos I've had imo. The proportion of meat to beans to rice was perfect and the rice tasted great. The al pastor was amazing: super flavorful and smoky. I usually feel like most burritos taste about the same to me, but I definitely found myself enjoying this one more than usual, which says a lot. Also, they're generously sized here. I wasn't able to finish mine despite my best efforts and packed the last quarter to bring home for dinner. I'd like to end my review by mentioning how polite and friendly everyone was, from the guy taking our order to the guy making the food. I was really impressed by this as well, since taquerias usually aren't exactly known for their service. I can't wait to come back!

From the moment your plate hits the table, you can tell you're in for something special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. The service and vibe were also amazing. I was so disappointed in the food and service! I ordered a tostada (besides my better judgement of ordering what I typically do, which is a gringo style wet burrito). I specifically asked the cashier if it came in the fried shell bowl. She said yes and that I can choose between flour or corn. I asked if the size or look were different, and she said no, so I ordered corn. It came out as a plate of just unseasoned mess. The carnitas were extremely dry and had no flavor, despite drowning it in whatever sauces were available. My husband's plate is what he normally gets too, carne asada plate. Dry and no flavor. A nearby table received their order and they also ordered a tostada that came with the shell. I asked the waitress (who was the same lady to took our order) what they ordered and she said tostada. When I told them mine came out the way it did, she said that was my fault for ordering corn. I felt that it was misleading despite me asking questions. She said she will bring out a flour tostada. I was fine up until this point because it was a simple mistake on both our ends. However, another waitress who brought out the flour tostada started speaking to me in Spanish, then repeated in English "this is flour, this is corn (while pointing at my plate)" in the most condescending manner. I will never go back here and I understand why the ratings have gone down significantly. They opened another location in Chatsworth, with worse ratings and I can confidently say I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone!
