Tried their asada breakfast burrito and it was so bomb; their sauce is amazing, and I didn't have to wait long for it! Great location too, I just parked in the plaza's parking lot and walked to the truck! Can't wait to go again!

The food truck is located along Balboa Blvd with plenty of parking in the lot. I went around 8:20 AM and there were a few people waiting, but the line moved quickly and the service was fast. I ordered the asada burrito with everything, and it was huge! Definitely worth the price. The flavors were so good. The asada was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and everything came together really well. Definitely will be back!

This review is for their iced coffee; specifically their brown sugar shaken espresso. After having finished a workout at the gym I saw them across the parking lot with a rather long line. I've seen them before and are always busy so decided to give them a try. Despite the line it seemed people were getting their orders in a relatively reasonable wait time. My beverage was so good! The balance of sweetness and espresso was perfect and it had a hint of cinnamon which I absolutely love in my coffee. I look forward to trying more things off their menu

I was really hyped to give this place a try after seeing it all over tik tok. They had sold out of most protein and only had asada, the meat is pretty chewy and tater tots are not crispy only greasy. A few bites in, I bit into various pieces of egg shells. The coffee was good but took longer than the burritos.

Sauces? All amazing!!! Chipotle, cilantro and the salsa the arbol, all the best combo for this asada burrito on a Saturday morning! Tater tots, scrambled eggs, onions salsa and your choice of meats, or veggies, bacon seems to be the preferred meat because at 10:30 am it was already sold out. They don't skimp out on anything so it's a lot! Next time I'm trying the bacon burrito but I don't think I'll be adding egg, not a big fan of the scrambled eggs personally. I believe they have chorizo as well! Anyway I did enjoy this huge burrito, and will definitely be coming back again! A disclaimer, this food truck is called nopal but there's nothing on the menu with nopal, translation to cactus. Most likely an homage to our native country. Lines are huge and this place really is living up to its hype!

I was so excited to find a breakfast burrito spot near me so I stopped by on a Friday morning around 11am. There was no line, but a few people were waiting for their orders. The guy who took my order was nice but he seemed a little distracted. I ordered the bacon burrito, and they called my name within 5 minutes. After picking up my order, I walked over to the nearby eateries where there were plenty of outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy your food. I was really looking forward to trying the bacon burrito, but unfortunately they gave me the wrong order. I ended up with a meat burrito instead. It was good and something you could easily share.

This place knows what they're doing!! Hands down one of the best breakfast burritos in the valley and probably in all of LA too. I got the asada burrito with caramelized onions and pico de gallo. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the burrito was huge easily enough for two people. You also can't beat the price at $12 per burrito. If that wasn't enough, their specialty lattes are incredible. I ordered the Mexican Mocha and the Honey Einspanner. Both were great but the Honey Einspanner was on a whole other level. The staff was super friendly and explained the menu to me. I will definitely be coming back to try the other burritos. I only wish the tots were a bit crispier but thats just me.

Wow, their food is great. The bacon taco was extremely flavorful and the tater tots gave it a crunch. The Chorizo & Egg burrito was deliciou. The service was fast and efficien. After placing my order, it seemed only a few minutes when a food runner emerged out the back door calling my name and hand delivering my order. The area around the truck was litter free. A team member was observed cleaning the sidewalk with a broom, soap and hot water. Need to go back and try other items.

A+! A new favorite breakfast spot close to home. This place is located along balboa and roscoe in front of the LA fitness. I have heard many good things about this place and here I am finally trying it today. Boy I have been missing out on this one. They have a choice of asada, bacon, chorizo, and veggie burrito. They also have a coffee and matcha menu as well. Perfect spot for breakfast! Today I got a bacon burrito and I could not rave about it enough. Perfect size, not oily, everything they add in their burrito like the potato and bacon had a crunch. Their sauces also blends so well with all their ingredients. The coffee I got was an iced vanilla latte and I thought it was perfect. Sweetness was perfect for me (not super sweet) how I like it and their coffee beans that they use is so smooth. When I went, the service was fast - didn't have a long wait time at 0930am on a friday. Staff were super friendly and they really build good rapport with their customers. Such a casual spot but a great way to start your morning with them. I am looking forward to coming back again and I can say this is my new favorite breakfast spot. YUMMMMMYYYY!!!

Deeeeelish! What a hidden gem. This place is where it's at for breakfast burritos. Located right outside of LA Fitness! Expect a little bit of a line but we didn't wait too long. I got the Asada breakfast burrito and it blew me away. That fried cheese is something else! Overall, amazing flavors and love the salsa. They also have a few specialty coffee drinks I am looking forward to trying soon. The burritos are heavy, but definitely a treat! I often have cravings for a solid breakfast burrito and I'm so happy to have found Taqueria Nopal! They have limited hours so be sure to check before you go.

Ordered asada got asada, ordered cilantro cream didn't get that, ordered the grilled onions got pico instead.

You're never going to get the same burrito here, even if you order the same burrito We drove about 30 minutes to this truck and the first visit was great. Second time, we ordered the same thing and got the wrong order--but honestly, it still tasted good. Third time, same order again, and we got something completely different. I'm pretty lenient, but I'm just not always in the mood for a surprise. This is totally subjective--if you like that kind of unpredictability, this might be your spot. We love trying food trucks and stands, so that's not the issue at all. It honestly feels like they're just having a great time in there, which is awesome for them--but it might not be the most effective when it comes to getting orders right. When you're spending $15-17 on a burrito, you really just want what you ordered. Kudos to them for getting the business going--this is meant as constructive criticism. I'd just rather open my burrito at home and have it be correct.

There are a few restaurants I'd call home and Beans and Limes is one of them. You haven't tasted…read morereal Mexican food until you've tried their food, everything else pales in comparison. Beans and Limes is a part of my daily routine and being a regular, I have my own custom dish with them, they serve the most delicious enchiladas.. they are not on the menu but if you see this review and crave them then be sure to ask for "The Dana Special". The owner, Miguel, is a genuinely kind hearted man who told me he makes me my enchiladas the same way his mother used to make them for him. I'm a vegetarian so it can be tricky to find yummy and sustainable meals but Beans and Limes have delicious veggie options. I'm lucky enough to live a mile away but I would definitely drive hours for the food!

Really good reviews from a food truck?! There's no way. Curiosity got the best of me. We got 2 guacamole tacos (one chicken, one asada), one cheese taco (asada), and one regular large taco (chicken), with an order of esquite, and 2 Cokes. Order was placed with the DoorDash app (even though I was parked right next door) and waited less than 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I highly recommend the large hand-pressed guacamole tacos with asada. AMAZING. I would drive out here (about one hour) for these tacos, again. The esquites was good. More lime than I'm used to, but not bad actually. I liked it. Also, the green salsa? REALLY good. Add it to your taco! I get the hype. I look forward to coming back here and trying out other menu items.
