The carne asada (beef) Sopes are delicious as always. Definitely recommend. The salsas taste good as well especially the red salsa its my favorite. read more

My friends and I ordered uber eats from Beans and Limes late at night and I was in the mood for tacos so I was v happy to see carne asada tacos on the menu! Since we ordered online, I cannot comment on their parking, seating, or service. Carne asada tacos 1.5/5, this was sadly a complete miss :( the tacos themselves had minimal flavoring and tasted bland throughout. They came with some green salsa which was fine but also with lemons?? as opposed to limes? I've seen other reviews mention that sometimes the quality from this place goes down and my friends and I picked this spot based on their previous positive experiences so it's possible I could have ordered at a bad night read more

We were in the area for a quick errand and thought I'd stop by for something to eat. We saw the food truck on the way and thought I'd look it up on Yelp. Really good reviews from a food truck?! There's no way. Curiosity got the best of me. We got 2 guacamole tacos (one chicken, one asada), one cheese taco (asada), and one regular large taco (chicken), with an order of esquite, and 2 Cokes. Order was placed with the DoorDash app (even though I was parked right next door) and waited less than 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I highly recommend the large hand-pressed guacamole tacos with asada. AMAZING. I would drive out here (about one hour) for these tacos, again. The esquites was good. More lime than I'm used to, but not bad actually. I liked it. Also, the green salsa? REALLY good. Add it to your taco! I get the hype. I look forward to coming back here and trying out other menu items. read more

This is me and my boyfriend's favorite Mexican spot. We come here twice a month. We usually get regular asada street tacos and sopes and it always hits! Parking can be scarce because they are posted next to a gas station and there's another taco pop up next to them. We usually eat in the car because I'm not a fan of the bar stools and the area can be sketch. Everything is flavorful and marinated so worth the money and trip. read more

0 for 2, it pains me so, but this truck has consistently been a huge disappointment. The pros: large menu with fresh salsa, rice, and beans. The cons: carne asada is 80% rubbery fat pieces that are not chewable, plus the high price point and long wait times. Your money and time will be much better spent at any other run of mill taco truck. Please improve the quality of your carne asada if you are going to charge $15 for a burrito. read more

I used to come to (and order from) Beans and Limes all the time, but at one point the quality had gone down, so I stopped for a bit. Recently, someone told me they're back to their old standards, so I decided to give them another try -- and I'm so glad I did! The quality is not only back, but honestly better than before. The meat is flavorful and tender, the prices are great for the quality, and everything tastes super fresh. I tried the loaded fries with nacho cheese, an extra add-on of mozzarella, and pinto beans -- absolutely delicious! Their tacos are also amazing, and the chips are always fresh and crispy. The bean and cheese burrito is another favorite -- you really can't go wrong with anything here. Beans and Limes has officially become my go-to spot again. Highly recommend giving them a try (or a second chance like I did)! They are also generous with the salsa! Any times I have been in person the employees are very nice and helpful and the truck always looks clean! Go give them a try and support! read more

It was a delicious, full amount of food. I would order from there again if I'm ever in the area.

There are a few restaurants I'd call home and Beans and Limes is one of them. You haven't tasted real Mexican food until you've tried their food, everything else pales in comparison. Beans and Limes is a part of my daily routine and being a regular, I have my own custom dish with them, they serve the most delicious enchiladas.. they are not on the menu but if you see this review and crave them then be sure to ask for "The Dana Special". The owner, Miguel, is a genuinely kind hearted man who told me he makes me my enchiladas the same way his mother used to make them for him. I'm a vegetarian so it can be tricky to find yummy and sustainable meals but Beans and Limes have delicious veggie options. I'm lucky enough to live a mile away but I would definitely drive hours for the food! read more

Hey, this is a great taco truck. The food tastes really fresh, and I especially enjoy their salsa verde. I am usually a red salsa guy, but they have a special little spin on the green. The proprietor is super cool, and the prices are reasonable. I also really appreciate how flexible they are with adjusting my order to be vegan. read more

The al pastor house burrito is great! The portion is huge and i appeciate that lol. The drinks always come cold, love that. They have some pretty decent salsas but i just pit lime in my burrito and it is game changing for me. Eskites are great too, more on the salty side but i dont mind it too much on this one for whatever reason. I usually prefer my corn sweet. Not bad at all tho. Yeah honestly, try it!!! read more

Amazing food and huge portion. Definitely coming back! Top 3 burritos I've ever had for sure .

Just here to repeat the fact that this is the BEST food spot in town! I am obsessed with the flavor and lovely array of vegetables in my veg burrito. Would not recommend this place due to poor service. The receipt said no cheese and salsa but after confirming it would be there when picking up the order the cashier said what does it say on the receipt. After paying extra for it (he said it will cost 0.5 now) I get charged 1.55 on my card and cashier says just dispute it. Terrible! Avoid it! read more

I've ordered from here twice during some Friday night munchies . 1st time, I got a bean & cheese burrito with cheese crust and esquites. 2nd time, switched it up and got a shrimp burrito with cheese crust. I was high so I didn't notice how far it was from me , but so thankful they were open so late and willing to deliver all the way to Hancock Park read more

Food was fine, I'd give this spot 2 stars over service. I spent over $30 on TWO, burritos and the employee didn't want to give me more than 1 salsa per burrito, because the item already had salsa. That of course wasn't enough since the burrito was a good size, so I had to eat it dry read more

With Covid last year and most of this year, it has been awhile since I was in LA. I used to go to a street vendor type Taqueria that had very good Al Pastor tacos at the Mobile gas station on the corner of Sepulveda and Sherman Oaks. We were in town so I swung by the location looking for my late night street taco fix. The Beans and Lime Food Truck has the spot now so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a couple of carnitas and a couple of al pastor tacos. The carnitas were excellent, tender, flavorful and overall with the onions and cilantro, one of the better carnitas street tacos. The al pastor tacos were good but the flavor was not as robust as the previous street taco vendor. Nice guys, great food and easy location to get into and out of for your late night street taco fix. read more

I saw this place on Uber Eats and decided to give it a try after checking the reviews and boy it did not disappoint. The California burrito with the melted cheese on the outside of the burrito was FIRE. The best burrito I've ever had in LA by far. Stumbled upon late one night and happy I did!! Their carne asada is super flavorful. Well marinated and quite lean which I enjoy. Their portions are large, if you're not starving--share! This is my go-to taco truck in the Van Nuys area--consistently delicious every time. If you're craving some solid tacos, burritos, nachos, or loaded fries, this spot won't disappoint. The owner/cashier is always genuinely kind and makes sure you're taken care of. read more

I had the classic burrito and it was really good. I recommend getting the spicy red sauce on the side as well.

I have kinda mixed feelings about this place. Ordered a burrito and nachos from here. Paid extra for guacamole on the nachos. Food shows up. There is no guacamole to be found anywhere. And it really was a missing element. Burrito had sticky white rice which just felt wrong, kinda like a sushi hand roll. No guacamole in there either, no sour cream... kinda dry. BUT, the meat was cooked to perfection! It was miraculous how good this meat was. In both dishes. Wow, like wow!!! I will definitely be back but next time I'll pick it up so I can double check everything myself. They really need to pay attention to the orders. read more

Ok, this is definitely in the Top 5 BEST taco trucks of all time. I've been wanting to try this place for a few weeks and I finally stopped by. I am not disappointed! The handmade tortillas are just the right amount of thicc and the chicken tastes quality, not that rubbery drek you'll get at lots of eat-in restaurants. * The price is right * The guac taco will shut your noisiest friend up * Salsa is light and flavorful with a bite to it * You can have 3 different sizes of handmade tortillas to meet your hunger level - I liked the large corn option that the guac taco comes on. * Open late for us night owls! * I don't really think you need another bullet point... I want to come back already! read more

This place is on another level of amazing when it comes to a food truck. I was in the neighborhood and this was the only place open at about 1am on a Wednesday when I tell you I was amazed by the quality of food and service mannnn I was like I need that again. The ambiance for a parking lot is dope as they have places for you to sit and eat high top bars stools and tables or you can eat in you car. Nice to know they have a way for you to order or even DoorDash their food but the wait wasn't that long for my 2 street tacos and for the price they give you a good amount of meat in your tacos will be back ASAP. read more

Had a serious craving for some Mexican food the other day. I am extremely picky with my Mexican food and have always enjoyed everything I've gotten from Beans and Limes. The quesitaco is absolutely LOADED and delicious. Could use a little more cheese but still very good. The mulitas have always been my favorite. The tortillas are absolutely amazing and there is so much meat! Also their salsas are amazing! Now here's the thing about my last order...I couldn't decided what I wanted so I ordered too much...so my Al pastor poblano burrito was eaten the next day. And it was still delicious! Nice big chunk of poblano, good balance of all the ingredients. And the Al pastor is perfectly sweet and savory with those pineapple chunks in there. Would definitely recommend this place, especially for mulitas! read more

To call the food abysmal would be a compliment. That sh!t was utterly disgusting! Not to mention overpriced asf. The chipotle spicy sauce taste like rust & dirt. The creamy chipotle was sourish & offputting. Green sauce was somewhat edible nonetheless still pretty bad. Had to completely discard the poblano pepper as it made the burrito worse smh. The carne asada did not taste "marinated" whatsoever. The beans n rice were completely bland. Nothing in this order tasted seasoned or even salted as a last touch-NOT EVEN THE FRIES! The extra cheese taste like oily plastic; hence no flavor nor did it even melt like wtf typa synthetic sh!t is that? The only thing that helped me scarf what i could of the burrito down were the incredibly oily, soggy & bland fries in ketchup. I wouldn't recommend this place to the dam Devil - hell,my worst enemy deserves better than this. I've literally had yt ppl cook me more flavorful Mexican food. The most flavor I got out of this whole order was honestly the Ketchup. American Condiments: 7/10 Mexican Food: -4/10 read more

This place is quite good, they have plenty of vegetarian options which is unusual for an authentic Mexican. I've ordered their veggie tacos plenty of times but I always have to check them before eating because there is always a piece of beef somewhere within.. that's not a bother. Recently, I ordered their beans and rice bowl and thought it had a burned piece of rice. Looked further and noticed it had antennas. Might have been a baby bug or roach. Unfortunately won't be coming back here. read more

Mmmmm Beans and Limes, where do I start? For as overpriced as Mexican street food usually is nowadays, I think the standard in quality should also be high. I ordered two things, the loaded fries with carne asada and a mulitas with chorizo. The loaded fries is, as it always is, pretty good. I like that the toppings are put on the side. The portion size is also pretty good for something that's over 15 bucks. I definitely recommend, BUT you also have to get that spicy salsa to go with it. The spicy salsa adds an extra kick that really just enhances the experience. The mulitas on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. The chorizo DID NOT taste like chorizo whatsoever!! It look like smaller and more charred pieces of ground beef. The bottom of it was soaked in grease as well, which was not ideal. It's portion size is good, but to buy 1 mulitas for 7 dollars, I'd expect it to not be swimming in a pool of grease, considering that I only live about ten minutes away, I know it's not a time issue that caused it to be full of grease. And if what I received is in fact chorizo, I have to say that is the worst chorizo I've ever had!! And that's saying something because I've had some overly salty chorizo from some places before, but at least I can tell it's chorizo! All in all, I can say the loaded fries are pretty solid here, and you really can't go wrong with them, but they also need the extra sauces to elevate them. The mulita itself has the standard flavor you want from one, but the rest is... questionable. Sorry, but if it hadn't been for the discount I received from Postmates, I would've been really disappointed. Food is cheaper than other places, still slightly more overpriced than one would like, and all while also being more mid. read more

Wow! Delicious ! Spicy ! Massive ! I have a high tolerance for spicy food and this tops it off ! So much heat! The wet burrito is filled with flavor inside and out. .
