Our waitress, Pauline was fabulous. The food was delicious. My wife and I live in Los Angeles and wish that this restaurant was in LA. I hope that we make another opportunity to come back on this trip. Everyone loved our dishes. Including the guacamole and chips and pico de gallo. We ordered extra orders. Yum yum yum yum yum. We ordered two chicken tortas from Tacos Tacuba. Honestly, it was hard to pick what to order because everything on the menu looked delicious. The person at the window was very friendly and I appreciated how she said she wouldn't tell anyone if I came back for seconds (hehe). Great food truck, one of my favorites in the valley. I've been going to the valley village location for a few years now and they are always fast and fresh. The torta, mulita, birria combo plate, all great. My most favorite thing to get are the Tacuba fries with carne asada. The catering for big events they do is fantastic too. My friends had their wedding catered by tacuba and the chips with the salsa bar were heart shaped; they were adorable and also delicious. Sunday night and my partner is craving a torta. Looking online most the usual places were closed. Upon searching I found this truck. We got a torta some nachos a sope and finally a huarache. The torta was asada it was my favorite of everything. So rich in flavor and fresh ingredients. The sope was carnitas and sad to say my least favorite. Something about the carnitas wasn't hitting. The texture of the sope was good tho. My other partner had the nachos and the huarache which he thoroughly enjoyed. Okay but your guys salsas tho. The food is fresh off the grill and it is well-seasoned. The beef is tender. The rice is not mushy and the salsas, you can tell they made it that day. My only gripe? The boyf and I tried this taco truck while we were passing by the area. Its conveniently located in front of a Ralphs parking lot which makes it easy to get to. We tried a Quesadilla, Mulita, Gordita and one taco. All of that added up to over $30 - items are definitely over priced. If you plan on ordering any of these items, plan accordingly, because your order will take much longer. The green salsa is bland, and if you ask them for jalapeños they will give you only one. A bit stingy. All in all, most items were ok in flavor but definitely not worth over 30 bucks. PS - I do appreciate the business owner responding to my review.
