Burrito de pollo

Best chicken burrito you could ever try. Mouth was watering watching them make it. Really great asada tacos too. Must try 10/10

Asada vampiro

Vampiro, mulitas and tacos are on point! Al pastor was not greasy like other street tacos. Can't wait to go back.

Two asada tacos

The folks are super sweet and very generous with the portions. They are also willing to fulfill special requests. I have only tried the carne asada tacos. I love that the meat is grilled (not cooked on the griddle). The salsas are delicious and the sides (lime, cucumber and radish) are fresh. I will definitely be stopping by again!

My pancakes were extremely cold. And my bacon and fried fish with onions were not fishy enough.

Awesome tacos, burritos, ribs. Geat service very friendly staff. Prices are very cheap in the over inflated economy.

There's plenty of street parking and this taco stand is the best bang for your buck. It's cash only but you can also pay via Venmo or Zelle. I recently got an order of three tacos and one burrito, the total was $21. There's also tables and chairs if you prefer to eat here. Overall their service is quick and the food is cooked fresh right in front of you. What stands out about Tacos El Tigre is the buckets of salsas and vegetables that you're going to use to top off your plate.

He said they were very good! I got an asada burrito, which came with rice, beans, and cheese. I was able to add some salsa (they had 3 options) and onions and then have them wrap it up. Overall, I'd say my burrito was okay. The meat had too many chewy/fatty pieces for me, but was seasoned and cooked well. And it was a generously hefty size. 8 tacos and 1 burrito was 36 dollars. Pretty on par with our usual spot. Friendly and incredibly quick service.

We were in the neighborhood and searched Yelp for a good taco spot--this place had great reviews,…read moreso we decided to give it a try. From the outside, it's small and unassuming, but don't let that fool you. We ordered the birria queso tacos, asada queso tacos, and regular asada tacos--every single one was absolutely delicious. They also gave us a consommé to try, which was really flavorful and a perfect addition. It's a family-owned business, which we always love to support. The young girl who took our order and seated us (I think her name was Arian?) was incredibly sweet and had better customer service than many adults--she truly stood out. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, and we've already recommended this spot to friends. We'll definitely be back!

It was on a Sunday morning around 10 am. It was pretty busy, we had to wait for a table for family of 5 for about 20 minutes, not bad. I noticed that after 11:30 the rush was over. We all asked for the same plate. Birria with rice and beans. We wanted the handmade tortillas so it was a little extra but it was worth it. The Birria was so flavorful and Delicious! The waitress was so attentive and sweet! We will definitely be back!

I got a carne asada quesadilla plate (comes out rice, beans, and a salad). There are no prices anywhere, which I don't exactly like, but alas. The total came out to 42 dollars. Service - very friendly girl took my order. Salsas - there were 4 or 5 and they were all delicious! I think my favorite is the spicy, very watery red one. Asada tacos - my husband said they were good Al pastor - my husband did not really care for these. He said it tasted like warmer tray pastor rather than fresh trombol pastor, which wss probably true, as I saw no roasting meats. Bummer. Quesadilla - probably one of the best I've had in a while! The perfect amount of cheese and meat. Some places overdo it and you can't even pick the thing up without it falling apart. Some places are skimpy on the meat. This was just right. Rice - flavorful and cooked well Beans - probably my new favorite beans. They're on the loose side and have great flavor. Salad - I didn't really eat it. It was just a little plop of shredded lettuce, a few diced tomatoes, two slices of avocado, and I think sour cream. I ate the avocados and that was it. Overall, glad to have finally tried this spot. Will definitely be back to try sopes and a couple other things. Wish they had posted prices and that my husband liked his Al pastor more so I could actually get him to go back, but alas. It'll just be my spot.

There is a term you say in Hawai'i that when something is good, it "broke da mouth." AND THIS…read moreVEGAN Mexican dinner by El Cocinero BROKE MY MOUTH! I recently tried out El Cocinero's food at an event that they catered to. As a person who eats meat and is not restricted, I would come here for the good food. The vegan al pastor had chunks of pineapple and it is seasoned and cooked to taste just like the meat version. The texture is just a little bit different but it does resemble a lot like meat. The vegan pastor also tastes just like the meat version, just less "smoky" and the texture is softer. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. The beans are seasoned just enough to have flavor but not compete with the other dishes. The creamy chipotle sauce was perfect topping the rice and beans. I do like vegan food but the only reference I had with Mexican vegan are places that try to add fake cheese and lean heavily on beans and rice. This business shows that you can still have all the flavors and not rely on cheese and meat. They focus on the flavors and not what would make non-vegans feel comfortable. Initially, I was going to give this first time experience a 4 star review so that it encourages me to go check out the restaurant so I can add the service and the ambiance. However, I was lucky enough to bring home leftovers and as I was eating it, the food tastes better. Had to add the extra star!

First time at El cocinero, planning on coming back again and again and again!!!!!!!…read more I was informed it was all and everything is vegan which I love tacos and to find a vegan Mexican spot that is all vegan came in clutch. This place had everything you'd need and tastes so good for a vegan spot. You would be able to fool me and tell me this is actual meat and I'd believe it. That's how good it was! I got the quesadilla (half asada, half al pastor) omg that was the best thing I have ever had. The cheese melts and pulls just like regular Cheese. The meat was so juicy and good flavor. I'd get it again and again But I'd probably try the tacos next time along with the quesadilla tbh. I also got the flan which was tbh less sweeter than a regular flan. But hey I still loved it, I don't complain about it. It was still delicious. (Funny incident, I ordered the flan at the front and paid for it.i wasn't told anything else by the guy at the register. SoThen went back to the table and Waited and waited and waited for a good 20 minutes, till I asked about it and was told that I can just grab it out of the refrigerator!!!! Smh, as much as I was upset as much as I for some reason just found it funny. So don't do the same mistake I did and just go grab it right after you pay for it.) Overall, I loved everything and all the things about this place. Nice seating areas, nice environment , helpful workers, convenient parking! And most importantly, delicious food. Definitely be visiting this place again!
