I had an outstanding experience at Pobalito in Van Nuys! The food was absolutely delicious, but what really made the visit special was the exceptional service from Marco. He was attentive, friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. His warm personality and attention to detail really stood out. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and Marco's service made the experience even better. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to, and I highly recommend asking for Marco when you visit!
Just had the Lomo Saltado at Pablito's Tacos in Van Nuys. Beef was tender and had good flavor. Onions and tomatoes were solid, sauce was savory without being too salty. Came with rice and fries that soaked up the sauce nice. One of the best saltado I've ever had, it was perfect and filling. Portion was solid for the price. Would get it again.
This place is worth a try! Warning - The art and decor of this place can be intimidating. There are a lot of colors and the walls feel very congested. If you can make it past this, I would recommend making your way to the cashier and ordering some delicious chicken and plantains. There are lots of cool taco and burrito places out in this part of the valley, so Pablitos doesn't really stand out in that aspect. What stands out are their seafood and rotisserie chicken! If you're going in a group, grab a chicken together and get some sides. Chicken is well made and seasoned. If you care about what you eat, I would highly recommend this option. I love fried plantains. They're one of my weak spots, and this spot makes them right. There were like one or two that were burnt, but aside from the few, the rest were great. I would come back here just for the chicken and the plantains.
This is my first time coming to Pablitos...and let me tell you. This might be one of the best kept secrets in all of Van Nuys!!! Everything was made to order fresh and came out just as delicious as it all looked. The icing on the cake was the amazing in house blended watermelon juice (thank you Estrella)...and oh my GOD!!! When you guys come in, ask for Marisol. She was amazing as well and will take the absolute best care of you. Very friendly and top notch service with a smile. The place was spacious and extremely clean, perfect for dining in if you so choose. Thank you guys, I will definitely be coming back soon for sure.
Excellent food, excellent service! Cool ambiance! Good prices! Excellent Cuban sandwich! Excellent ceviche! Excellent variety! Just really yummy food! Just a really good spot to go eat and take your family friends or whoever else!
I am very very disappointed with the owner of pablitos tacos. My wife and I came here for dinner and I order the ceviche mixto. i have had it many times here at the van nuys location and never had a complaint. But today and I got my plate and I took a bite I tasted nothing but anise in my ceviche. Which besides the fact is very weird to put in a ceviche. I am also allergic to it. When I requested for them to either remake it or exchange for something else. The employee had to call the owner just to receive and straight sorry no refunds or exchanges. No where in the menu does it state anise is in the ceviche. The owner should be 100% ashamed of himself for his behavior. Never will I come back to this dump of a place. I will also be speaking to my attorney regarding this situation that was easily avoidable.
Pablito's Tacos is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with great customer service and a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely incredible--everything tastes fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The tacos are packed with perfectly seasoned meat, the salsas are delicious, and every bite reminds you of real homemade Mexican food. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients and the care they put into every dish. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the service is fast, even when they're busy. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or bringing the whole family, this place never disappoints. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food that's consistently amazing, Pablito's Tacos is a must-try. I'll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!
The service here is great was greeted instantly I def would recommend to come get some tacos if you craving tacos great place good music awesome environment can't wait to come back Marco was amazing even let me sample a agua fresca def recommend this if u craving some tacos and aguas frescas will def be back thanks for the great service
We found this gem in Van Nuys and experienced good service and great foods! We loved the lomo dip sandwich, tacos. The meats were rich in flavor paired with delicious green Peruvian sauce - amazing!! Will definitely come back to try other menu items.
Hands down this spot is legit to bring your family to and the cashier is very friendly, the customer service is 1000. Food is really delicious. Best in the west
This is my first time here, and I saw the great reviews here on Yelp. I didn't know that it was a Mexican Peruvian fusion restaurant. I've never been to one of those and it was excellent. I love Peruvian and Mexican food. I want more of the Mexican route today. But there was definitely some Peruvian influence with the creamy green sauce. Both sauces were excellent, the Birria was good as was the Horchata. Fernando was great and went above and beyond explaining the menu and making sure that everything was great during my visit.
Been awhile since I got to have me some Pablitos. My wife and I ordered the three taco plate. I got the lomo saltado, Al pastor, and carne asada tacos. She got the Chicharron, al pastor, and fish. She really loved the Chicharron taco, but enjoyed the other two also. I thought the al pastor was the best, but also liked the other two tacos. Beans were okay, not totally authentic, but close. The rice was an absolute miss. Under cooked and under seasoned. Not sure what they were going for honestly. Service was good, took a long time for the food. We were the only ones there too. Place has a Cuban vibe with the mural designs and the music. Still a fan, gotta try something else next time. Also, wish I had a Pablitos closer to Ventura County.
Best Pablitos in town. The keto tacos here are so fire. Shoutout to Fernando for his top notch customer service, he works harder than any other cashier ive had the pleasure to talk to.

What negative things can we say about this place? Nothing! From the start, we were greeted by a friendly and personable employee. We were asked if we've been here before. We have not, but the gentleman helping us asked if we had any questions on the menu and continued to recommend some items. Based off what he recommended, we ordered: -Lomo Saltado -Birria Plate -Chicken Quesadilla We loved everything we ordered and they were all full of flavor. The Birria Plate compliments well with a side of consomé. Dip all the tacos into this amazing concoction and it's a party in your mouth. I can't recommend this enough! I wish we got the name of the cashier/server. He was great and kept checking in on us. The food came out quickly too. We will definitely be adding this place to our rotation. read more

Hands down my favorite Peruvian place! The food is always fresh and amazing, with plenty of options on the menu. The cashiers are friendly, parking is small but manageable, and everything I've tried has been excellent-especially the saltados, tacos, ceviche and aquas!!! The "crack sauce" is hands down the best! Can't enough of it!! I put it EVERYTHING! The owner, Danny, is super cool, so I'm always happy to support this spot. There are 4 locations that are all doing well and there's a reason! Check it out! Taco Tuesdays are the best here!!! read more

Went in today for the first time. Was at the vet in the same plaza. I think the cashier's name was Estrella, snd she was great! Good food, clean place! THANX! * The prices on Yelp are way higher than the actual price! It said my burrito was $24.99, but it was only $14.99. I posted pics of their current menu! read more
Unfortunately, this location is not at all as good as the others. I think it's really due to service. The staff here had no idea what they were doing, every order was brought out incorrectly, and made horribly. The queso, taco barely had any cheese, The veggie taco with cactus and mushrooms was just pathetic. Their salsa is still delicious, but the portions are much smaller and you could tell the kitchen does not know what they're doing. The cashier was also pretty bad, I won't be coming back to this location. read more

Run don't walk! Pablito's opened this location earlier this year and it is freaking awesome. The staff (shout out to Fernando) is always super friendly and welcoming. I knew I wanted to try the rotisserie chicken, and he told me that it's *that* chicken they also use in all of their tacos, sandwiches, and burritos. Which is pretty awesome. Before today I had always just ordered shrimp tacos and my favorite sweet plantains, but decided to branch out and try something new. It turns out everything they make here is fire. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, the rice is cooked perfectly and tastes like mom made it, and the SAUCES are insanely good. Seriously they should make a separate sauce business. Get.the.sauces. One of them is called green crack and it's for a good reason. Dip everything. Go crazy. Now I'm going to stop writing and keep eating. Love you Pablitos!! 10/10 read more
