Steak tipico breakfast
Danielle C.

I ordered breakfast today for my mother in law and we got the tipico breakfast and steak tipico breakfast plus some pupusas. The restaurant itself is really clean and beautifully laid out. I'm gonna bring my dad for breakfast here one of these days! The prices are reasonable and the food was good. Not greasy at all!! Not overly salted. Portions were good. The customer service was nice too. I was greeted by the lovely Mrs Nina and her husband. Very nice people. Yummy clean food :)

DELICIOUS! Highly recommend Nina's kitchen. Newly opened, support your local restaurants. Their pupusas are flavorful.

Absolutely amazing! I came here with my mom and my 2 younger brothers, and we all loved the food. The pupusas were fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor, and the curtido tasted homemade and authentic. My brothers couldn't stop talking about how good everything was, especially the pan con pollo and horchata. The staff is super friendly and made our whole family feel very welcome. The restaurant was nice and cozy it made me feel like I was eating in someone's own home. This is definitely a place where you should and will likely come back I know I will.

I don't even live nearby anymore, but I still go out of my way to come here, that's how good it is. I always get my pupusas well done, and they come out perfect every time. They have a rear entrance so no need to walk around. We walked inside and were received by Joseline Fuentes she greeted us with a very warm smile and welcomed us inside. We were told to sit whereever we like. There was ample seating as well. We. Chose one of corner booths/tables and definitely enjoyed our time and our food. We got pupusas combo which comes with two pupusas, rice, beans and a salad. I added an extra pupusa to mine. We ordered a tamal on the side and a pan con pollo. My wife got a pepsi and I got a jamaica. Joseline the waitress immediately brought us chips and salsa and was very attentive and friendly throughout the entire encounter. She offered us more chips, our food came out fast and the music and the vibe all in all was relaxing, accomodating and enjoyable. Big portions and the food was delicious. The pupusas were freshly made, the pan con pollo was suculent. We will be returning soon. Perfect ambiance to eat peacefully and enjoy salvadorean cuisine. The decor was definitely on point. I had been going to this restaurant because, honestly, the pupusas are good. I want to give credit…read moreto the kitchen staff because the food itself is what kept bringing us back. Unfortunately, this was not the first time they had issues. Several times our orders were wrong, and when ordering to-go, the salsa has tasted old and has made me and my family sick more than once. Because we liked the pupusas, we always made sure to ask for fresh salsa and reminded them about the previous problems. But what happened yesterday was the last straw. My ex-boyfriend of 17 years (now a friend) and I went there to eat. I went to the bathroom and saw a woman crying. She was obviously very intoxicated. I had only had one beer, and I asked her if she was okay because I was concerned. I won't share what we talked about because that was her private business. Suddenly, a man entered the women's bathroom and started questioning both of us, asking what we were talking about. I told him it was nothing, that I didn't know her, and I left. He also appeared to be intoxicated. Later, I was back at my table and ordered two more beers. The soccer game had ended, but people were still commenting about it, so I took out my phone to record a video for my boyfriend. The same man from the bathroom suddenly approached me and started asking me not to record him and the woman he was with. They became very upset because they were near the TV making out. The woman then asked if I was recording them because of what she had told me in the bathroom. She tried to grab my phone and told me I was recording them and that he could get in trouble. I told her not to touch my phone and that I would call the police if she tried again (which I did). Instead of handling the situation fairly, a man who appeared to work there (I know the owners are a Latino couple, but this man never introduced himself) immediately started trying to remove us. It felt like he knew the couple and was taking their side. A customer who was sitting nearby told them she saw my phone and knew I was only recording the soccer game. The couple kept demanding that I give them my phone, while this employee kept telling us to leave. Then our waiter took away the two full beers we had paid for and said they were closing. I told them: "First you messed up my food, and now you're telling me we can't drink the beers we paid for, while this couple who is clearly intoxicated can stay and continue drinking." The man still had a beer in his hand and was continuing to drink. Only after that did they realize the situation was being handled unfairly and asked everyone involved to leave. Today I tried calling the restaurant to get answers, especially because they refused to check the cameras after a man entered the women's bathroom and harassed me and the woman inside. Nobody answered. We will never return. I'm sharing this so people are aware of our experience. It is disappointing because we gave this place many chances despite mistakes with our orders and the salsa issues because we liked the food. But this situation was unacceptable. I wish I had pictures of the man and woman because of how upset they became thinking I was recording them, when I was only recording the game. Please be careful and make sure you are treated with respect no just in this restaurant but anywhere you go because we are paying customers and we are NOT ASKING THEM TO DO US A FAVOR
