chicken milanesa cemita & cecina adobada cemita
    Angel H.

Good/average food, good service. The only thing is they don't have dine-in, so you just place your order & pick it up thru a little window they have. A little sad that the chicken milanesa didn't have much seasoning to it, but i loved the portion sizing on these! Very filling & yummy with fresh avocado.

Cecina Asada with Chipotle - flavor bomb!
    Nathan G.

Just an absolute flavor bomb - the Cecina Asada is satisfying, filling, not greasy, lots of cheese and avocado and meat, and the sesame bun just works. I had the Chipotle option - the smoke chili flavor worked so well with everything else. A few things - this is now a walk up, window service place (at least when I was there), strictly take out, nowhere to sit down. Also, prices are up since a few years ago - the sandwich was $12 out the door. Totally worth it though - you won't be hungry and these things are craveable.

You'll order out of a perfect little window and you'll receive the best meal of your life. Insane flavor, lots of avocado, and a wide range of delicious salsas Choose between jalapeño or chipotle, you can't go wrong

Humongous sandwiches absolutely filled to the brim with meat/veggies/guacamole/cheese. I really loved the pescado and the steak. Super dank

Cemita de Milanesa de pollo con todo!

What' a hidden gem! I've gotta start by saying I'm super picky when it comes to Mexican food and am usually disappointed outside of Mexico. It never tastes the same. Not this place!!! The Cemitas taste just like the Cemitas in Puebla, Mexico. Absolute magic.. Service is nice and friendly considering your order through a window. Keep in mind the location is not fancy, but who needs fancy when you've got great food?!?

Milanese chicken chipotle with string cheese.

Wow. What a gem. Sooo good. I've been in the valley passing by this joint for a decade now and I didn't know it was this good. I gave it a try today and got the chicken Milanese with string cheese and chipotle. Bomb dot com. Wow. I'm already thinking of going back tomorrow for more. The lady was nice. You order it from the outside and when food is ready they open the door and give it to you. I was the only one there. After i ordered i kid you not like 20 people came. This place is well known I guess. Next time im getting the breaded carne sada one. Few people in line recommended it. Im so happy.

We came here for our first date nearly 40 years ago, and we've been back many times since. The food was just not great this time around. However, after a two-year absence, my recent visit to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom was disappointing. We arrived in the late afternoon, hoping to avoid the crowds, and put our name down. Unfortunately, after waiting 30 minutes for an update, we discovered that our name hadn't even been recorded. Once we were finally seated, there was a significant delay in receiving our drinks and chips. I noticed one server struggling, dropping food for different tables, which was unfortunate. To add to our frustrations, they forgot our tostada Chiquita, which was later brought out with our main dishes. I ordered carne asada with cheese enchiladas and chile relleno, but the meal lacked the flavor I remembered. The service was inconsistent; they continually forgot our drinks and chips. On a positive note, the ambience was lovely, and I still adore the classic LA decor. Despite the nostalgic charm of Casa Vega, this experience left me hoping for improvements in both service and food quality for future visits.

This was my first visit to this location. There was only one person ahead of me when I lined up to order around 9:50 am on a Monday. Loved the chill vibe of the outdoor seating area, which was quieter than inside where there were a few tables. Service was friendly, and they bring your food out to you after you order at the counter. I ordered the Lonestar Migas (5/5) that was packed with brisket, cheddar, and pico de gallo. It's delicious and pretty filling on its own! For breakfast tacos, I got the Don't Mess With Texas (5/5) which is a MUST try. A perfect breakfast taco! I also got the Guadalupe (4/5) which was good but I realized I'm less of a chorizo fan and prefer the brisket or bacon I had with my other menu items. The outdoor area is also dog friendly! I fully enjoyed having breakfast here and getting to see a few sweet, well behaved dogs was a bonus. I wish we could get a HomeState in the SF Bay Area! I can't wait to come back for more tacos.
