First time here and my experience was overall positive; would give overall a 4.5/5. Despite what…read moreother reviewers said about there always being a line, I was fortunate that there was no line when I came on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were all friendly (from the person who took my order to the person who handed me the order) and my order came out correctly. There's enough seating inside, but me warned that they have no restrooms for customer use (not sure if that's even legal). Anyway, onto the food... 1. Regular Taco (4/5) Going to any taco establishment, it's a must to try their original taco. I got it with carne asada. The tortilla is corn-based and it comes with onions, cilantro, fresh tomato salsa. Overall, not a bad taco, just not the best, best. The overall flavor profile was pretty solid though - you get the beefy flavor from the shredded beef, the refreshing-ness of the cilantro, salsa and freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2. Birria Tacos (5/5) Corn tortilla lightly fried in birria broth; this version is between the regular taco and the dorados. It gets soggy quickly from the juicy, flavor-packed broth, so eat this first and fasssttt! The beef was flavorful and tender. Onions and cilantro were fresh. It not only looked good, it tasted great! 3. Dorados (5/5) This is their "crunchy" taco, which I got with shredded beef (default, but can change to other protein options). That crunchy shell was just sooo satisfying with each bite. Flavor wise, it's pretty similar to the Birria taco described above. I love the fresh radish slices they offer on the side. It's crunchy and a nice palate cleanser in between each taco.

The flavor of the burrito was really good, and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, almost every…read moreother bite of the carne asada was nothing but fat and gristle. I ended up having to pick it apart, and eventually it became too unpleasant to eat, so I couldn't even finish it. It's disappointing because the seasoning and flavor were there, but the quality of the meat completely ruined the experience. I hope this was just an off day, because with better-quality carne asada, this could have been a great burrito.

Tierra Caliente is almost glitzy for a humble Mexican food truck, but what really shined amidst the colorful truck and lights were the food! I had the Burrito supreme (adds avocado and sour cream) stuffed with rice, beans, onions, and my protein of choice, Al Pastor. It was just so amazing that I almost didn't need to add any salsa. The Al Pastor was tender and juicy, and perfectly seasoned. There's no need for pineapple in this one! It was so filling AND fulfilling! The Carne Asada Quesadilla we shared was also incredible. It actually reminded me a little bit of the best smash burger in terms of its balance of crispiness and savoriness. This was not some thin, dry Quesadilla, that's for sure! All in all, we left so satisfied and we have to give a shout out to the friendliest folks working there at midnight! They made it feel like we're eating with neighbors!

My friends and I came around 10:30 PM and the service was great and the line wasn't long. I got the asada queso tacos with the salsa verdes and onion&cilantro. I also was able to get more toppings like lime, pickled onions, and the grilled veggies. The tortillas are made right in front of you and they are DELICIOUS. And the asada was PERFECT. My friends got the al pastor which they loved too. The tacos are higher in price only cause they are nicely sized, I'm definitely coming back.

This vendor Angels Tijuana tacos they're located on the corner of Mason and Devonshire in the city of Chatsworth border. So what was so unique about this taco stand was that the line starts from the right when the first person that you come in contact with is someone who's making the flower tortillas made to order then depending on what kind of meat you want on your tacos, it's moved down the line and you tell the person making the tacos. What kind of meat you want I had Carne Asada Tacos and they had 3 different types of hot sauces, from A mild to a hot. $3.75 each Taco Bell. Well worth it. A must try. No over head no rent to pay. There's many taco spots in San Fernando Valley, but this is ranked pretty high up there however they didn't have any chairs or tables for you to sit down but you're able to sit in your car park in front of it. It's in the parking lot of the Vons market, but I do have to say these three employees did a fantastic job and moving the line through.

At 8 p.m. on a Tuesday, there was only a short, fast-moving line at this taco truck right next to Winnetka Park. It's walking distance from my house, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Three tacos (two carne asada, one lengua) came out to $5.30, which is standard pricing in L.A. The food was out within five minutes. Their to-go orders come wrapped up in foil and a plastic bag. The meat left a little something to be desired. The asada wasn't as plentiful as the lengua, and it tasted salty more than anything. The limes and medium salsa could not help with that. On the other hand, the lengua was soft, cooked well, and complemented by the grilled onions and lime. I was also impressed by their inclusion of limes, radish, grilled onions, and grilled serrano peppers in separate packages, all for no extra cost. Their lime supplier, whoever they are, is amazing -- the ones I had were very fresh and plump. Convenience wins out over quality in this case, and it's a fine choice for anyone looking for a roadside Mexican food fix. Parking by the park and abundant housing is a well-played call.
