The owner and server were both very nice but we didn't enjoy the food. We ordered hummus, fatoush salad and garlic fries, but the owner convinced us to get some veggie plate instead which had a few extra items that we didn't care for at all. I had been to the Mediterranean Bistro, in Porter Ranch, many years ago. They claim to also serve Lebanese food. Needed to have a better experience, so I decided to give it another try. What came first was a singular Pita, that was dry. I had to ask for butter to make it palatable. After that, the lentil soup arrived, it was good, but they served the dish with a table spoon (instead of a soup spoon). Then came my main, the Shish Kabob plate. This is filet mignon, so I ordered it medium rare, and Armenian style (so no rice, no salad). Instead, tomato and onion filled Pita bread (which was overdone). The filet mignon was tender to a point, but there was no sharp knife. I had to request it. On top of that, the filet mignon had no flavor. I asked for something to dip it in and they hastily brought that garlic mayo that I absolutely dislike. By that point, I was done. It was time for the check and a bye bye. read more
