Omg! I cannot believe I have never tried this place. I have always seen it when I drive on Reseda but never gave it a try. The parking situation is tricky if the lot is full because the lot is super narrow and if the restaurant is full you won't find parking in their lot. Their staff is sweet and helpful. I really enjoyed their food! For the amount you pay, you really get a lot of food which is important to consider in this economy. I ended up getting a combo plate of chicken and beef kabob. It was super good! I also really enjoyed their hummus as an appetizer. Overall will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place!
I came back here with friends and once again the food was very good. We shared chipotle chicken fries, a Shirazi salad, and had water to drink. I ordered the chipotle chicken bowl. It tasted good, I just wish it was spicy, but other than that the service was great and it was a great ambiance to celebrate my friend's birthday.
This meal was so life-changing I had to hop back on yelp to tell everyone. Firstly, the interior is well-decorated and spacious and the ambiance is excellent and our server said that the menu is part Persian inspired. Most importantly, the food was the greatest ever. My family would have been fine with just the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant-- it was hearty and creamy and garlicky, everything I have ever wanted in a dish. But of course, we ordered the super combo due to our hubris and paid the price (we took a bunch of boxes). They are not kidding when they say the Super Combo feeds 4-5, they must be talking about 4-5 men in their early 20s because it was way too much for us. Assuming you eat all the salad and rice and the bed if bread the meat is served on, I can imagine this feeding more than 5 people. It is truly the most value item on the menu, should you have the personnel to take it on. Highly recommended for anyone who likes mediterranean food! Try the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant!!
First time dining at Lemon Zest for dinner on a Saturday night with the family and we had an amazing dinner experience. Lemon Zest provided both delicious meals and excellent customer service, thanks to Natalie. We dined here on a busy Saturday night. We were seated immediately and didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our order consisted of 3 Combo # 1 with half rice and half salad, Chicken Lule Kabob with all garden salad, truffle Parmesan fries, Beef Kabob and Combo # 2 with half rice and half garden salad. Natalie also noted the fact that one of our family member has a peanut and tree nut allergy. We love dining at restaurants that accommodate people with peanut and tree nut food allergies. We have added Lemon Zest to our favorite restaurant list as we know Lemon Zest caters to families with food allergies. We also have shared and told our family and friends about Lemon Zest. The portions of their meals are plentiful and more than enough. The kabobs chicken and beef were all so tender and flavorful. The chicken and beef were not overcooked. The basmati rice was also cooked perfectly. We can't wait to come back to Lemon Zest and try other food items on their menu.
I needed to meet a friend who had appointments in the Northridge area. Checking Yelp, I settled on us having dinner at Lemon Zest. It was another great find! At 5pm it was kind of quiet on a Tuesday, but we chose our table and were immediately provided ice filled glasses and a liter of chilled water, which was welcome on such a hot day! My friend and I each ordered the lamb kabob plate, mine with Greek Salad and she selected half rice and half salad. We were able to specify we would like the lamb cooked rare. Everything that was served was so perfect, with generous portions! The salad had feta cheese. Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, onions, etc. I found the house dressing so refreshing. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked. This will be another restaurant I will recommend to all my friends and family. I will definitely return when I next visit the area.

The staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we arrived, there's like a lounge area as soon as you walk in that they were just waiting at for people to come I guess. The food was amazing! Portion and price totally worth it! Would love to come back again soon!

I ordered the Combo #2 Beef Kabob and Chicken Lule. With half and half rice and garden salad. Wow even at half, there was a lot of salad! Actually portions were all pretty large. The salad and rice were both good. The salad was actually kind of filling cause it had so much in it! The beef kabob was juicy and flavorful. The chicken lule looked good but was a tad dry. May have been my dish though as I was surprised, considering everything else I ate. We also tried the Truffle Parmesan Fries. The fries were cooked well and crispy. Creamy with a hint of tanginess and zesty. Very good! I would definitely return. Thank you!

We get there to pick up the order and was given attitude that they just received the order. (Note on my receipt when the pick up by time is and when the order was placed at 12:48PM when we went to pick up). Not only that but the food is bland and so greasy. There is a pool of oil at the bottom of the to go container. Never again.
Very high reviews and I completely agree! The price point is a bit high, but the portions are larger, quality is great, and everything was delicious!!! I ordered completely different than my usual Mediterranean go to meal, but I was very impressed. A huge gyro and side of fries was very satisfying. The beef gyro is one of their best sellers, so naturally I ordered it. Not sure what made me choose fries, but these were perfection. There was plenty of parking in the evening hours in the private lot. Only thing is the front of the restaurant is dark so it's easy to miss driving by. This may be my new favorite spot in the valley (for Mediterranean food).

We've tried a variety of items--plates, wraps, and gyros--and everything has been delicious. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. They're also great about following special instructions and modifications, which we really appreciate. Reliable, tasty, and satisfying every time--we'll definitely keep ordering!
I was disappointed in my chicken wrap. I didn't like the wrap part. It just tasted like it was store bought. The kabobs were good and the baba ghanoush was delicious. The restaurant is very large and divided into 3 sections almost. You have the bar, then a middle area where you enter, and then a dining hall. Our server was very nice though. I was in town for my niece's theater show and we needed to find a place that is open for a late-ish dinner. I am surprised to see that many restaurants closed early on a Friday night! We found on Yelp, this restaurant named Lemon Zest. It is a restaurant that is part of small business center but Lemon Zest looks like a stand alone business. The interior was designed so nice with ample seating outside in the patio area and inside. This place is meant to hold large parties. The vibe is so cool for a casual date or dinner and drinks with friends. It is also cool to host a mixer or private party! At 9:15pm we were the only party and our server treated us so well. She didn't rush us but she did check in with us periodically. I wish we got her name so we can properly give her praise. The food was amazing. This is my first time here so I ordered the beef gyro plate and paid extra for loaded Greek fries. The plate was huuuge! Such a generous serving that is enough for two people to eat. The fries were crisp and the toppings worked so well. It complimented the thin, well-seasoned slices of beef. The pita was cut into triangles, making the perfect bite. First of all, the parking lot is kind of crap. Like always packed, tight, people parking like twats and eating up two spots. So discouraging. But we will overcome, dammit. And so we did! It says please wait to be seated but there's no host. No worries - they're short-staffed and everyone is running around. We wait until someone grabs us and snag a spot easily. The table is dirty but someone comes over to wipe it down. We get waters - the glasses have a scent to them, and not a great one. I'm willing to overlook it and just don't drink the water. Was really excited about the meal. The food is fucking epic. The vegan beef Lule kebab is one of the best things I've had in a long time. Delicate, well-seasoned, just bursting with flavor. I overheard that they sold out of it right after we got it, so you know it's popular. We also tried the salmon kebab, which is also absolutely delish. Most of the Mediterranean places we've tried tend to overcook fish and this was done just right. Seasoned to perfection. The pickled cabbage was the tits - I love pickled veg and this was such a nice bite with the salmon or lule, on a little piece of grilled pita. We also tried the veggie platter, which was pretty good. The falafel are a little small and just alright, in my opinion. But the roasted veggies were great the hummus was solid, and the Greek salad was a nice palette cleanser. Price is very fair for the quality and size - we came hungry and still left with a bunch of leftovers. Would 100% return here and maybe get some bottled beverages next time. Willing to overlook some of the annoyances for good food always. Or maybe just get takeaway to avoid it altogether. Decisions, decisions! read more

Food was delicious! Really loved the chipotle chicken kabob. Service was great, my server was friendly and my food came out quick after ordering. Seating area is comfortable, restaurant has both a bar seating area and a regular dining area. Great stop for lunch or dinner read more

The Place- Nicely done. The Food- 1) Loaded Chipotle Fries- Good and I would get it again. Next time I would ask for an extra side of chipotle aioli sauce because once I ate the top off the fries I needed more. 2) Had the lunch special that came with a choice of two different kinds of meat, two different choices of sauces, rice and vegetable. I would recommend. Service- Friendly Parking- Shares a fairly small parking lot with other businesses. read more

I've tried this twice now and both times we've ordered for to go. We definitely will dine in one day because the inside looks really nice and clean. I really like their portions for the lule kabob. Their beef kabob and chicken are good as well. It comes with rice, a salad and pita bread. It would be nice if the pita bread was on the side since it's beneath the meat and rice making it soggy. I recommend trying this place although it's a bit pricey in my opinion. Vegetables don't come with it like the tomatoes, you must order it on the side. read more

I had an issue with a food delivery service cancelling my order. However, Sevan (the owner) was extremely helpful in getting my food order resolved. Not only did he personally reach out to rectify the issue, he personally handled and delivered my order. The food at Lemon Zest is always amazing. I ordered the #1 combo (chicken kebab and beef Lula). Everything is always made to order and fresh tasting. The servings are big and the presentation of the food is always excellent. If you are in the mood for a Mediterranean style meal, look no further than Lemon Zest. It's easily the best in the Valley. read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by the host. He let me know that they currently had an event going on, and that the wait times could vary! He was constantly keeping me updated on when my table would be ready. I really appreciated the updates! I started my evening off with an appetizer. I chose their fries. Their fries easily scored a 5/5 from me! They were crispy, seasoned perfectly and paired well with the bottled sauces that the restaurant offers. I absolutely love crispy fries! Now for the entree! I chose their chicken kebab plate. They offer a choice of protein, rice or salad, or half and half. I chose chicken as my protein, and a full serving of rice. The portion sizes are very generous! I couldn't even finish all of the rice! The chicken was so tender, juicy, well seasoned and very flavorful! The rice was perfectly cooked, and tasted great! The entree itself got a 9/10 score from me! Now for the service! My server, Norma was not only attentive but genuinely knowledgeable--offering recommendations with enthusiasm. She had a bright smile on her face the entire time (And was super cute too!). I can honestly say that the service that she provided was flawless. The service easily scored a perfect 5/5 from me! Overall, I had a very great experience at Lemon Zest. The ambiance, inviting atmosphere, stellar service and very tasty food set the tone for the entire visit! read more

This was my first meal after a long drive from NorCal and it hit the spot!! The chipotle fries ($9) were loaded with a chipotle aioli sauce but stayed crispy underneath, and the beans added some nice fullness to them too. I absolutely loooooved the cucumber yogurt with pita ($7)! Deliciously creamy but still so refreshing from the cucumber, dill, and mint. I had to stop myself from eating it all to leave room for the entree. Turns out, I grossly underestimated how much room I'd need bc the portions are HUGE! The prices seem higher than other restaurants but that's because the entrees are definitely big enough for two meals. I ordered the beef kabob plate ($24) and tried some of my friends beef lule plate ($22) and they were both sooo good. My beef kabob was so tender and the flavor on both our plates were filled with wonderful spices to really get your mouth watering. Our server was super nice and brought out a hot sauce and the sour sauce for us to add to our meals. They were both so tasty! The interior is spacious and can accommodate large parties or a small table of 3, like us. I love that they serve wine/beer bc I could definitely see myself staying here a while to enjoy the ambiance and work my way through all the food LOL read more
I came at night with a friend. We were driving down from norcal and we caught their last dinner call. The store is quaint but has a decent amount of space. Décor was reminiscent of more trendy modern restauraunts. The prices of each dish are a little higher. When we ordered, the staff informed us of options and we went with suggestions. It took a decent amount of time, but when it arrived, it was HUGE. The meat and rice portion was insane. We couldn't finish the salad but we finished the meat and rice. The kebab was tender and was my favorite. The chicken was also soft and tender / juicy. My only gripe was their lack of sauces. Would recommend for anyone who has insane cravings! read more
