    Kafta Kabab (4ppl)

To start my meal, I had the Cheese Pi which are just tasty treats to have, with all the yummy cheesy goodness wrapped with toasted dough. I had the option to order the Olympia Mixed Grill but sized down for 1 person, and if you're like me and you love mixed kebabs, this is a great option. You get kefta (ground beef), Filet Mignon, and chicken kebabs with rice hummus, garlic sauce,a basket of pita bread, and salad for $25. It's quite generous for what you get! Ranking the kebabs, the Filet Mignon is the clear winner, followed by the kefta, and closely by the chicken. I highly recommend trying this combination so you can see which one you prefer!

Pi on Sunset is a Lebanese restaurant on Zelzah in Granada Hills. It has an elegant dining space and a small basic menu of Mediterranean items. I came here for carry out and chose the Spinach Pi (2 pieces, that's how they spell it), from the appetizer menu. It has a similar look to Samosas, were deep fried and had a crisp and tasty outer dough covering. The inside filling contained a generous serving of spinach and onions. If anything, a little less lime in the mix would have carried it better. For the main, I ordered the Kafta Kabab plate. The ground beef kabobs had a mild but distinct flavor. They were slightly dry but appetizing and with a good bite. The hummus was silky and well prepared. The accompanying pita bread, rice and roasted jalapeño and tomato completed the dish. There was also a small salad portion. Service was timely, friendly and informative.

First time going to this restaurant. Not a very big space, with limited open seating. No real privacy. Service is ok. Not very attentive. I think they give you time to enjoy your meal, but this leaves you sitting there waiting. Noise level is as expected in an open space Food was good however food temperature was sub par. Maybe this is normal for this type of cuisine. Fries seemed cool to the touch and bite. Not a bad dining experience. If looking to try Lebanese food, give it a visit.

PI on Sunset is hands down my go-to Lebanese restaurant. I've been living in Granada Hills for over seven years and only recently decided to give it a try--now I'm there at least once a week. The food is consistently high quality with an exceptional variety of choices, and their customer service goes above and beyond every time. Yum!

I lived two blocks away 25 years ago and stopped by to reminisce. Food was amazing. I ordered the beef kabab plate. Cashier not at all friendly. No one was there when I went on a Saturday. She looked annoyed I ate there. That's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five.

Walked in late on a Friday night and this place was perfect. Dining room was very clean, and staff were very attentive. The menu options are great, we had a great lentil soup, a beef plate with hummus and salad, and a beef shawarma wrap that came with fries and a drink. I will definitely be coming back

Amazing food, really delicious! The prices are fair, and this was my first time ordering. I truly enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!

It's a beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing space with plenty of seating and even the bathrooms were nice and definitely well-maintained. I had the Coconut Cloud with Matcha and it was perfectly refreshing. I also sampled the Biscoffee and it had a strong espresso flavor that was well complemented by the sweet cookie butter flavor. The bungeoppang was freshly prepared and well worth the $5.50 for 2; the hotteok flavor was my favorite. Overall, Peak is a wonderful space and a comfy place to study in. No wifi on Sundays though!

The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.

The dessert was just as good--soft, flavorful, and topped with the perfect crunch for contrast. You can tell Cafe 86 knows exactly what they're doing when it comes to ube. It's a great late-night dessert spot with a relaxed vibe and consistently solid quality. If you're an ube fan (or trying it for the first time), Cafe 86 is a must.

It's off Reseda and its parking lot is usually a hot spot among people. There is a good amount of parking but depending on the time, it fills up quickly and can feel tight trying to maneuver your way through and find a spot. Ambiance: Cafe 86 is a, they specialize in coffee and matcha and truly have an expansive menu featuring lots of delicious ube variations. There is a good amount of seating in the cafe, from normal tables to a couch to lounge on. The interior of the cafe is lined with brick and the warm lighting casts a soft cozy feeling. There is ample space to sit and enjoy your drink. I'd even say it's a good spot to study as it is spacious and does not get too loud. Drinks/food: We've tried the Iced Ube Matcha latte, Iced sea salt latte, Iced Ube Latte, as well as the Ube truffles. I love the ube flavor and it pairs perfectly with their matcha. They don't use the highest quality matcha but the ube flavor carries and still provides a nice tasty drink. The iced coffee was good, a little too sweet and kind of just an average latte, nothing to write home about. The ube truffles are something sweet that hit the spot if you have that sweet ube craving. They are soft and chewy and just the perfect bite. I am definitely biased in general because I really like ube so if you aren't the biggest fan you may not like it Overall this place does make their drinks on the sweeter side so going half sweet is smart if you don't want a blast of sugar. Service: Everyone thus far has been extremely friendly and welcoming! Overall: Cafe 86 is a solid spot if you are in the mood and have a craving for sweet, ube forward drinks and sweets. The menu is fun and unique, especially for anyone who enjoys ube flavors. The cafe itself offers a comfortable, inviting space that works well for hanging out or getting some work done. While the drinks can run on the sweeter side and some of the drinks are just average, the overall experience is still enjoyable. The friendly service and relaxed atmosphere is a calm choice for a new casual cafe stop, particularly if you are there for their ube specialties.

Parking was easy to find, they have a lot and there are several surrounding free parking lots. The cafe inside was clean and well designed with several tables - by the time we got out drinks, a table had cleared up and we sat down. We ordered the matcha einspanner and the hojicha einspanner. The matcha was high quality, very rich and strong. The cream added a nice sweetness, but it wasn't overall sweet or bitter either. I love hojicha and always recommend it as an alternative to matcha or coffee at cafes. The hojicha here was chocolatey and smooth, absolutely amazing! There's a Trader Joe's and Chili's across the street with more parking as well and I have parked behind Dave's Hot Chicken and the Habit and there is always space there. Ambiance: This coffee shop is quaint and feels a little cramped when you finally get inside and through the line. There is a counter top with some chairs as well as one couch and desk where one can study although, I personally never would. It's clean and bright with a minimalistic vibe inside. With it being cramped, you basically just get in, order, and get out. It's rare to find seating inside and it can feel overwhelming just sitting there trying to enjoy your drink with so many people around. Drinks: We've been there multiple times and you can always expect the same- mid, slightly overpriced, oh- getting some post purchase clarity. But it's the type of slightly regretful decision we continue to make every time. We've gotten the matcha einspanner on several occasions, vanilla iced latte, caramel latte, and the most disgusting Americano known to man. Whether you get the dark or light roast Americano, you will not run away from the burnt and bitter flavor. Service: The line moves quickly, they take your order and get you in and out without a long wait. They also offer stamp cards, buy 10 get the 11th free. What a steal! Gimme 10 more! Overall: All this to say, it's oddly grown to be a valley staple, and represents some bordering LA values- overpriced, overhyped, but for some reason addicting in the fact you always seem to go back. I would say 3.5 but it doesn't allow it, so I'm feeling generous today.
