    Kafta Kabab (4ppl)

To start my meal, I had the Cheese Pi which are just tasty treats to have, with all the yummy cheesy goodness wrapped with toasted dough. I had the option to order the Olympia Mixed Grill but sized down for 1 person, and if you're like me and you love mixed kebabs, this is a great option. You get kefta (ground beef), Filet Mignon, and chicken kebabs with rice hummus, garlic sauce,a basket of pita bread, and salad for $25. It's quite generous for what you get! Ranking the kebabs, the Filet Mignon is the clear winner, followed by the kefta, and closely by the chicken. I highly recommend trying this combination so you can see which one you prefer!

Pi on Sunset is a Lebanese restaurant on Zelzah in Granada Hills. It has an elegant dining space and a small basic menu of Mediterranean items. I came here for carry out and chose the Spinach Pi (2 pieces, that's how they spell it), from the appetizer menu. It has a similar look to Samosas, were deep fried and had a crisp and tasty outer dough covering. The inside filling contained a generous serving of spinach and onions. If anything, a little less lime in the mix would have carried it better. For the main, I ordered the Kafta Kabab plate. The ground beef kabobs had a mild but distinct flavor. They were slightly dry but appetizing and with a good bite. The hummus was silky and well prepared. The accompanying pita bread, rice and roasted jalapeño and tomato completed the dish. There was also a small salad portion. Service was timely, friendly and informative.

First time going to this restaurant. Not a very big space, with limited open seating. No real privacy. Service is ok. Not very attentive. I think they give you time to enjoy your meal, but this leaves you sitting there waiting. Noise level is as expected in an open space Food was good however food temperature was sub par. Maybe this is normal for this type of cuisine. Fries seemed cool to the touch and bite. Not a bad dining experience. If looking to try Lebanese food, give it a visit.

I lived two blocks away 25 years ago and stopped by to reminisce. Food was amazing. I ordered the beef kabab plate. Cashier not at all friendly. No one was there when I went on a Saturday. She looked annoyed I ate there. That's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five.

PI on Sunset is hands down my go-to Lebanese restaurant. I've been living in Granada Hills for over seven years and only recently decided to give it a try--now I'm there at least once a week. The food is consistently high quality with an exceptional variety of choices, and their customer service goes above and beyond every time. Yum!

Walked in late on a Friday night and this place was perfect. Dining room was very clean, and staff were very attentive. The menu options are great, we had a great lentil soup, a beef plate with hummus and salad, and a beef shawarma wrap that came with fries and a drink. I will definitely be coming back

Amazing food, really delicious! The prices are fair, and this was my first time ordering. I truly enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!

Most importantly, the food was the greatest ever. My family would have been fine with just the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant-- it was hearty and creamy and garlicky, everything I have ever wanted in a dish. But of course, we ordered the super combo due to our hubris and paid the price (we took a bunch of boxes). They are not kidding when they say the Super Combo feeds 4-5, they must be talking about 4-5 men in their early 20s because it was way too much for us. Assuming you eat all the salad and rice and the bed if bread the meat is served on, I can imagine this feeding more than 5 people. It is truly the most value item on the menu, should you have the personnel to take it on. Highly recommended for anyone who likes mediterranean food! Try the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant!!

My favorites are their kabobs and different modifications (think sour berries) of generous amounts of basmati rice that accompany their entrees. The Mast O' Mooseer (yoghurt with shallots) is another of my must haves. Generally, I always get the koobideh kabob to go, but this time, I was in the mood to sit down and have some chunks of meat. I chose the Shish Kabob, which is advertised as grilled filet mignon pieces. The restaurant prepares it medium well and past experience revealed it to be dry and tough. So I asked for it medium rare, for the first time. The dish that came to my table had marvelous optics. The beef was well charred, had an intoxicating aroma and well distributed coloring amongst the seven generous pieces. But there were a few problems. For one, I could not comfortably cut into the beef without using excess force, and shredding it. I asked for a sharper (steak) knife and was told that was all they had. While the meat was juicy, it was extremely chewy. I even questioned whether it was filet mignon, because it did not look and behave like it. I was told it was. If that was the case, could it have been a bad cut? This substantiates why I am leery about ordering meat pieces. Amongst the other items, the thick creamy yoghurt did not disappoint. Same with the grilled onion and tomato. The saffron rice is always fluffy and abundant. The green salad was crisp and refreshing. Take home message? Looks like I will have to skip the Shish Kabob and stick only with the koobideh, if I am ever in the mood for skewered grilled beef.

Came here with my family and some extended family to celebrate a special occasion. Panini Kabob Grill is a Mediterranean and Italian restaurant, they have very good kebabs, Koobideh, pastas, salads, wraps and Panini's and deserts. The Northridge outpost is located in the Fashion Mall, on the ground floor, below the food court. It has a nice layout, spacious, with well polished wood tables. Seating is inside as well as a covered area outside, though still in the mall, adjacent to the place, a patio feel, if you will. Interestingly, when I was there, they were playing Latin music. A multicultural experience :). So what do you order when you come here? I came here for a carry out and it had to be their beef koobideh. It came with a choice of salad (Greek in my case), basmati rice, two skewers of kabob, grilled onions, tomato, jalapeno and a small container of tzatziki. For a starter, I selected a bowl of the green lentil soup that came accompanied with two small pieces of grilled artisan bread. This soup was fantastic in both flavor, freshness and taste. Most Mediterranean soups have too much lemon, imparting acidity to the dish. Here, if it was there, it was very slight, hardly noticeable. I consider this pivotal, because now you get to actually taste the depth of the lentils. As for the kabobs, it was a generous portion. They were moist, tasty, optimally spiced and with satisfying texture. The Tzatziki was superb. This eatery touts themselves as a scratch kitchen, for the food that is served daily to their customers. Indeed, I have to say that their food does taste different. I know that this restaurant will climb upwards on my list, for many more repeat visits.

First thing you do when you sit in a car? Take a few bites of the fries, and let me tell you that shit got stuck in my throat from how dry and nasty it was absolutely no SALT on any of the sandwiches and or fries...
