Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. Service was lovely...the manager or owner took care of us and made us feel he was truly grateful that we were there. It's also a hookah spot...so if you're not into that vibe or smoke of any kind, (I'm not really) you'll definitely smell that anywhere you are in the restaurant, even if you're not seated next to those using hookahs. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean...especially a place that has some unique things not at other Mediterranean spots, definitely give Pi on Sunset a shot.

Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The sandwich was extremely unappetizing. The bread was soggy and falling apart, and the filling looked and tasted like it had been sitting out way too long. It didn't feel fresh at all, and several of us couldn't even finish it. The fries were even worse, they tasted stale, like they were at least a day or two old, and had that chewy, reheated texture instead of being crispy. Definitely not something anyone would want to eat.

The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable, welcoming vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The food was outstanding--everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell that quality ingredients are used and that care goes into the preparation. The portions were generous, offering great value for the price. The kabobs, in particular, were a highlight of the meal. They were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled just right, with a delicious smoky flavor that really stood out. The staff was equally impressive. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great dining experience. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and they were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Overall, Jeje Mediterranean Grill exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine in a welcoming setting, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be returning soon!

We were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant nearby, so I pulled up Yelp and started browsing…read morephotos. I am very big on looking at food photos before choosing a restaurant, and the owner had posted so many great pictures that we decided to give Monaia a try. I only wish the photos included the names of the dishes, especially for anyone who may not be familiar with Lebanese food. I went with my husband and my in-laws, and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. When my husband asked our waiter if there was anything we absolutely had to try, he told us we had already chosen everything he would have recommended! We shared the Muhammara, Cheese Rolls, Fried Kibbeh, Makanek (Lebanese Sausage), Arayess, Kibbeh Nayyeh, and the Mixed Grill. My mother-in-law loved the Fattoush Salad, and since I love cheese, the Cheese Rolls were an easy favorite for me. I also ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, which was delicious. They finished our meal with some homemade Baklava- which was a great sweet treat! One thing that really stood out was the Toum (Lebanese garlic sauce). I've had garlic paste at quite a few Mediterranean restaurants over the years, but this was hands down the most flavorful version I've ever had. I ate it with everything on the table! The service was good, and everyone was very friendly. They were preparing for a large crowd arriving around 2:00 p.m., and it was wonderful to see every table begin filling up, especially since this is a newer restaurant. They also did a beautiful job decorating the space. I loved all the photos on the walls, and even the bathroom felt warm, homey, and thoughtfully decorated. We will definitely be back! If you're looking for authentic, delicious Lebanese food with a welcoming atmosphere, Monaia is absolutely worth a visit.

The friendly voice responded to my question with an answer of 'At lunch, at dinner, even at breakfast! It's always breakfast!' Well they certainly have Hubs' number! Large lot had plenty of parking when we arrived at 2pm and it was quiet; noice. We were greeted warmly right away and told to sit anywhere. I wanted something light and filled with protein. I opted for the Chicken Pesto Sandwich; hold the bread. It was ok, served on a generous bed of fresh spinach, but lacking the sun-dried tomato and no pesto garlic sauce, which it describes being tossed in. The Jack cheese looked like Kroger single slices. The side fries were thin and crispy, cooked just right. Hubs ordered the breakfast Three Egg Meat Combo: opted for burger patty, French fries in lieu of roasted red potatoes or fruit and toast over banana bread. He was very happy with his meal and said he would like to go back. While I thought the food was fine, the hospitality, attentiveness and Hubs happiness, will keep us coming back. Cheers! "CC"

It's moist with a crispy outer edge and the right amount of salt to taste but not be salty. Most of the items on the menu have pretty large portion sizes, and there is a vast selection of items. Nothing shouts out at us to give the food an upstanding 5/5, but this is still a solid pick for an American diner. Note that if you order anything with strawberries (including the fruit cup), you will get exactly 1 strawberry cut into 4 pieces to ration during your meal. Service: 2.5/5 There is one person manning the floor the majority of the time, and he does a good job managing multiple tables. We came in at 9 am on a workday and there were already 25 people in the restaurant, all managed by this one waiter. There is another person who pops in every now and then to deliver food and refill coffee. That said, don't expect to be checked in on often or to quickly get your order in. Also, special requests may or may not be satisfied-- I requested that the whipped cream in my waffle order came on the side, only for it to come right in the middle of my waffle. Atmosphere: 4/5 It's a lively place! This is a popular and long lasting restaurant for a reason. The music is not loud, and there is a comfortable amount of space between each table. I would recommend this place for a family meal, a casual work outing, or a date for an established couple. Final rating: 3.33/5 (rounding down to 3 on Yelp)
