Then he turned to the other 3 at our table and asked if we would like him to prepare a special meal for us to enable us to share plates and experience a variety of meats and sides. We ended up with an amazing spread of meats, stews, several rice dishes, salad and vegetables and took home enough food for at least 3 meals. And the special dinner for our friend on the restricted diet was indeed delicious and truly a feast. Our total bill including wine and tax and tip came to about $40 pp. Given the quality and abundance of food and the amazing service, this was a very reasonable price. The Barg and Koobideh kabobs can also be made with chicken instead of beef and are equally delicious. You can get the kabobs with the traditional Lavash bread or with a variety of rice options (plain white rice or with sour cherries, barberries, green beans, lentils, etc.). Don't skip on the grilled tomatoes that make everything taste even better! The stews and desserts are also very good. Drinks 4 stars: Soft drinks, Doogh (Yogurt soda which goes really well with Persian kabob and rice), Tea, Coffee, and as of recently beer and wine.

At the end, the owner gave us complimentary coffee and fruit from his own backyard. This place is good for groups, and they remodeled the store recently. There is an outdoor sitting area and plenty of spots inside of the store. Also if you are big group, just call them and reserve you spot for peace of mind. Just keep in mind that Persian food preparation takes time, so you can order earlier by phone or wait at the store. Definitely recommend this place to give it a try.

Despite being extremely busy handling takeout orders, he managed to bring out our food for five people remarkably fast. We absolutely loved the meal--every dish was delicious.
