I came here for lunch and the empty parking lot and lack of any other customers should have set off my alarm bells. Inside it's old but relatively clean, but again empty and kind of depressing. The strip mall it's in isn't exactly attractive either. I was in a small group and problems started as soon as we started ordering. The surly, bored looking cashier kept telling us they are out of shawarma, they can't do wraps, they have no eggplant, they don't have this other stuff or that stuff... like half the menu was unavailable. We order and before the food comes out, he tells us even the stuff we ordered, much is unavailable. The food came and while some of the grilled pork was okay, some was burnt black and some was medium rare. Look, some people will eat that, but if you're cooking pork like that you have to ask - don't just give people pink-inside pork. Parts of my group were grossed out. I will say, the quantities are decent. But the quality is meh. Nothing special. There's nothing special here, the food came out very slow, the one guy working took a smoke break after giving us the food so we were alone for a while. Just weird and depressing. I do appreciate they don't have the nerve to ask for a tip, as I'd be pretty annoyed if I had given one. read more

Parking: the parking plaza is small but it doesn't get crowded. So you'll always find parking. If not, there is street parking on the side as well. Customer service: the owner is always there being cheerful and greeting every customer that comes in. If it's your first time, he walks you through the menu and helps you choose something that suits your tastebud. He's also accommodating and understanding if you want to switch something or have a complaint. Inside: dine in is allowed and there is plenty of seating. There is a paper menu at every table so you can sit down and order from there or go up to the register to order. Food: there are plenty of options on the menu to choose from. What I recommend ordering is #19, because you get beef and chicken in your plate. The meat is very soft so you don't need a knife to cut it. The rice is seasoned perfectly with a hint of lemon to give you flavor. As for the grilled vegetables, they're on the sweet side but be careful of the jalapeños seeds as they give you a little kick. As for the salad, it was absolutely delicious. Everything I've ordered from this restaurant has been exceeding my expectations. The portions are also huge and worth the price. I just ordered from Armeno's Gyro Combo plate. Consisted of white rice, 6 strips of Gyro meat, 2 pita breads, green salad and Tzatziki sauce. The othe plate was Beef Luleh combo plate with white rice, 2 pita breads, green salad and Tzatziki sauce. The service was good. Although unassuming in a small plaza at first glance, Armenos is a great for fresh food late night. There are not a lot of options open after 9/10pm, but they close at midnight - huge plus. My partner and I ordered a Combo Plate and small hummus to-go. The Combo Plate includes beef, chicken, lamb chops, rice, salad, roasted tomato and jalapeño, and pita. You get a good amount for the price and filled both of us up! Everything was hot and not dry at all, except the salad. Not sure if it was intentional, but there was no dressing or vinaigrette. Another mishap is when we noticed there was no hummus when we got home. We called, but they were already closed. However, I called the following day and they were very accommodating! Since we were in their delivery area, they were able to deliver it to us and notified us when they were on their way. I really appreciate that kind of service. Also, not sure if it was just that night because we came before they closed, but it was cash only. Regardless, will be back again to try other dishes! read more

These 5 star reviews must be from friends and family. This place is mid at best. Customer service is abysmal. Owner was sitting outside smoking when I showed up. He didn't say a word when I entered the restaurant. I got the steak and chicken kebab plate. The meat was okay. The plate doesn't come with hummus. You have to order it separately. You're better off buying some hummus from the grocery store. The hummus I ordered was a bit on the bitter side. The salad was also made poorly. If you've ever seen the Family Guy scene talking about how pizza places make salad, this place must have used it as inspiration. Definitely won't go back anytime soon. read more

It's my first time ordering here. I got a #1, 2, 19, and hot wings. The wings I received were RAW I couldn't eat them the flavor was good for what I could taste but I do not recommend ordering that.. I called the restaurant and there was a language barrier. I got transferred to someone else who only said ok. Trying this method to see if they understand they need to cook them a little longer. This review is long overdue. We had them cater our kids 2nd birthday in July. We already had a sample of their food at another relatives birthday. The price was very affordable. This is a family run business and the owner Armen and his father are hard working people. We live outside the delivery zone but they were still able to deliver for us. We definitely will use them again in the future. The only little problem was they spoke some English but we were able to still communicate the transaction. read more

Wow this place has my stomach rumbling! I ordered the chicken shawarma. The 1st thing I noticed was it was even shawarma. It was chicken breast cut up in small piece and drenched in a mayonnaise sauce. The 1st bite was luke warm at best. Some pieces were even colder. My buddy's pitas bread was warm unlike mine. I went to ask them if they could warm it up and got a rude response but clearly there was a language barrier. If I wasn't in a rush I would've ask them to also heat up the small portion of chicken. I wish this place was good because it's right next door to my house, but unfortunately it's not good quality food at all. I ordered a falafel sandwich which literally was a large pita bread with falafel and tahini and that's it. The guy kept saying it comes with pickles yet there were no pickles in it. Other than the simplicity of the falafel sandwich, it tasted horrible- kind of like tap water. The service wasn't good either. There are far better places in the valley to get Mediterranean food. Walked in and felt like the twilit zone. The service literally kept me from staying and eating. I walked in, said hello and got a blank stare and no response. Who ever it was at the front of house looked shellshocked and made me feel uncomfortable. I almost felt bad for the guy. Figured the food might be what redeemed my experience but when I told him I would like the beef shawarma his response was "only chicken." The only two words he managed to muster our whole interaction. I decided I would go down the street and hopefully find a happier place to eat. I don't normally leave negative reviews or any review for that matter but I figured I would share my experience as I did not have the experience a majority of others seemed to have had.
