    Combo bowl

I ordered the combo bowl and as he was making my bowl this piece of lettuce was sticking out the entire time and dragging across the prep station and rather than pulling the piece out he closed the lid on the entire bowl other than the singular piece of lettuce. The service was also terrible the owner was helping us and he was very standoffish and rude. Would not go back, food was also below average

Great little spot if you're craving some gyros, burgers, shawarmas, falafels and more. The food is made fresh to order daily. We ordered our halal plates with chicken, gyro, rice and salad, topped with their white sauce. So good and great portions also. Staff were very helpful and fast. The restaurant has a small area with a few tables and seats. Overall, a good place when your craving some Halal food. Happy Nom Nom!

Ordered a hamburger, got the cheese.

You are greeted as you walk in. The cooking area, counter, everything, is on the right side of the restaurant. Out front, there is a soda fountain machine, some refrigerators for storage and drinks, and two tables for small parties of four. The front of the right side is an area for bowls. Then as you look up, you can view the menu. On the left (or further in) is the counter for ordering your food. I ordered a hamburger with fries. And a custom mix plate. I ordered for everything with no dairy, no cheese, and no milk products. The fries were the first thing to get made and put into a small brown paper bag and closed up. It sat there for quite a while, probably like 7 minutes waiting for the rest of the food to be made. When I got to my car, I opened the fries to start eating, what a disappointment. They could have easily sat frying for an extra minute or two. They were not great at-all. Lots of them were no longer hot too! When I left, got home to eat, found out it was a cheeseburger! Oh no! The bowl, was just okay. Nothing to rave about. The Gyro meat didn't have a fresh authentically-made flavor to it, just tasted like something bought from a supply store and cooked. Texture says it too. Try as you will, but make sure you know what you're getting. They try, but it seems like the restaurant isn't operating correctly. Is it new owners? I don't know, but I know that it's not for me.

We love coming here for a quick and filling bite that's always consistent and for a great price. They are generous with the portions and the food is always freshly made. Friendly service as well, indoor seating with tvs to enjoy dine in. Staple spot in the valley

In the food business, customer service is everything. Mistakes happen--that's normal. But refusing to take accountability and constantly arguing with customers is not the way to build loyalty or trust. Hopefully, they learn that sometimes the best response isn't to argue, but to listen. Until then, I'll be taking my appetite somewhere else. Hot dog it's not $3.50. Don't make a excuses

Ok. It doesn't. Look like much. Heck, the restaurant doesn't look like much when you walk in. The taste is excellent. The employees are friendly and welcoming. The garlic sauce is money. You have to try it.

Absolutely love this place! A true gem in the area. The build-your-own-plates is one of the menu items I always order and feel satisfied from. You can customize it with your choice of base (rice/salad or both) & your protein choice (chicken, gyro, & falafel). After that, you're free to add toppings to your plate! The way they pour the sauce always looks so appetizing and appealing, I enjoy the white and green sauces the most. Food is delicious, cooked perfectly, and parking is usually easy with a spacious lot that encompasses the front and back. The staff are very friendly every time I come. Highly reccommend for a quick delicious and filling meal! Perfect for takeout and dine-in.

This place is delicious!! You won't regret trying it.

This is one of my favorite places to eat at in Northridge. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Nothing fancy and down to earth as is the food which takes its cues from the standard Persian repertoire, but done through a humble homemade filter. The portions are extremely large here to show hospitality. You will never leave hungry here. There is more than enough to take home for another lunch to save from cooking another meal. 0) On the House: Large Plate of salad of crisp, chilled iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber with a nondescript creamy, tart dressing. Pita bread basket. 1) Tahdig: Almost all rice based cultures covet the crispy, crunchy rice found at the bottom of the flamed cooking pot. Basically, to recreate this crunchy rice on a large scale, Tahdig is now fried Basmati rice. You can opt to order thickened stews to put on top of the Tadig. I ordered two that came in good sized bowls for 50 cents each...Such a deal!!! 1a) Fesenjan: A mostly sweet and bit sour thickened stew of mostly pomegranate syrup, ground walnuts, often chicken. Pomegranate symbolizes fertility, rebirth and life in Persian culture, 1b) Ghormeh Sabzi: Less viscous stew made from Sabzi which is any kind of green vegetables but, in this case, spinach, kidney beans, dried limes, and bit of beef. 2) Joojeh Kabab: Cut up pieces of bone in Cornish Game Hen seemingly marinated in yogurt so even the usually dry breast meat is moist, firm yet soft. Bravo! I just wish that some garlic, thyme, oregano, Za'atar, etc. would also have been mixed into the marinade for more complex flavours. Dry, nutty Basmati rice is the default, but I wanted to try their Shirin Polo which is a sweet, orange flavoured Basmati with candied orange zest, and generous amount of Pistachio nuts. I thought it would have been analogous to Canard à l'Orange or French Orange Duck. In their attempt to show home style generosity, the sweet, orange flavour was amped up to the point it became almost a dessert. A more subtle Shirin Polo would have made it a more sophisticated dish. Iranian Black Iced Tea: A richer, slightly stronger tasting tea than the standard wussy Lipton style orange pekoe tea. What lacked in awareness of the higher Persian cuisine, 3+ stars, was made up for by the inexpensive prices and the sheer volume of acceptable food presented. Service is fast, efficient if not particularly warm and personable. 4- stars PS Come for lunch when many of the items are discounted.

Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. So I ordered 3 Gyro meals. Lamb, chicken, and beef with the combo meal fries and drink. For the 3 sandwiches with each of them having a side of small fries and small drink I paid $71.29 for the entire order which is crazy in itself but the real crime was the food here, I am surprised how this place is been running business this whole time. First thing you do when you sit in a car? Take a few bites of the fries, and let me tell you that shit got stuck in my throat from how dry and nasty it was absolutely no SALT on any of the sandwiches and or fries... We all know salt makes everything more delicious and we had none of it. Me and 2 of my guests all had complaints on how unsalted and bland the food was. Also with a gyro usually you need a garlic sauce aka white sauce for my New Yorkers, they tried to charge me $5.90 for a SMALL plastic side of garlic sauce for my $20 sandwich. Save your money head over to Pita Pocket or any other gyro spots cuz this ain't it. It's really not hard to get a gyro down. You choose a base, I got half lettuce and half rice. I chose falafel as my protein, you get 3 balls. And you get two sides and a sauce. I got mushrooms and roasted eggplant and hummus as my sauce. The falafel wasn't bad actually, they weren't dry which is so common with falafel. They're pretty large too which is nice. The rest of the meal was sort of ehh, plain iceberg lettuce, plain rice. The mushrooms were cold, I wish they served them hot and found that surprising. And the eggplant was ok. The portion was filling and it was an ok meal overall.
