While looking for a place to take a group of both adults and kids for a casual dinner, this place popped up in our search. We had seen it circulating on social media so we decided to give it a try. It looked really fun and with four kids ranging in ages 11 to 17, it seemed pretty perfect for our group. Right off the bat, you can tell that the place was completely different than any other burger place in LA. The colors, the lights, the atmosphere and even the names of the burgers. The staff made us feel like family and the food was incredible, with an unexpected combinations of flavors. I had the vegan burger plus truffle fries with rocket sauce. It was incredible!! Damn this is the best burger I've ever had. The cheddar sauce with the beef bacon jam isn't super sweet at all! I added pickled jalapeños! I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese but the Double Oklahoma Wagyu is delicious! The guy who took our order was super nice and even offered to arm wrestle and pay for our meals! I tried their regular smash burgers, space jam, spicy chicken sandwich, triple spicy chicken sandwich, beast fries and onion rings. I like their space jam burger and their chicken sandwiches. I dig the space jam sauce. I like the mixture of sweet, spicy, savory and some kimchi in the chicken sandwiches as well. It gets a minus star for being a bit small. All the burgers are on the smaller side, the spicy chicken sandwich comes with two tenders and the triple comes with three. The tenders are on the smaller side compared to other chicken shops. Didn't really enjoy the beast fries as the fries seem overcooked. It was kinda hard. Same with the onion rings. I like nice and crispy but the fries and onion rings never hit the mark. read more

Tried this place over the weekend- always looking for a good burger. I ordered the space jam- while it had a great taste, it was extremely messy and greasy- and the grease from the meat mixed with the jam seeped into the bottom of the bun which disappeared into the meat (best way I could describe it)- so basically the top of the bun was there and I was holding the meat at the bottom imho, it was way too pricey for what I got- however, to be fair and give it another chance, I would try again, but if ordering to go, would have the sauces and jam put on the side and assemble it when I get home- and maybe have them grill the bun too. The fries were nothing special- not bad tho, but again, too pricey. I spent $55 on two burgers, 2 fries, and one drink. For that price I would have liked to have enjoyed it a little more. But my fair rating is probably a 3.5 read more

We ordered the Double Oklahoma, Space Jam and seasoned fries. Very causal vibe, there's no public restroom (huge downfall), no indoor seating either. Everything is outside with picnic style benches, plus a TV, trash can and a faucet to wash up. It's a very small setup. The burgers are served on Hawaiian buns and you can imagine the sizing. It was way smaller than expected. The photos look big online but it's because most are close up photos. The smash burgers are decent and I did enjoy the Double Oklahoma but for the price and portion, it did not feel worth it. My husband and I both left still hungry. The fries were well seasoned, which was a plus. It is fine to try once out of curiosity, but it does not justify a return visit. The price is hefty for what you get and you are honestly better off going to In n Out for a regular burger. read more

It also seemed a bit greasy. Maybe I'm just old school, but when I think of a real burger I'm thinking lettuce, tomato, onions, maybe mushrooms -- something stacked with flavor and texture. Not just a thin smash burger with a little sauce and a couple pickles doing all the work. I also thought about ordering fries, but the price was almost half the cost of the burger. Considering how cheap potatoes are, it just makes you feel like you're being taken for a ride. And chances are they're frying them in seed oils anyway, which a lot of people are trying to avoid these days. If smash burgers are your thing, you might enjoy it. The burgers have smashed patties but the flavors are bursting in your mouth. I really enjoyed their burgers and how you can also customize them. Their fries was really good but they just were heavy handed on the salt, but nonetheless the fries were fresh and crunchy. If it were less salt, I would say this joint is perfect. Love burger 3000! I remember when I first visited their street pop up for Yelp Elite last year and I've come to their brick and mortar a couple times and always just as impressed. Their customer service is excellent, short wait times for food, and seems they are always adding to their menu as well. They have a nice size covered patio and heat lamps too for the winter time. We entered the parking lot and omg this small space looking Burger place catches your attention and makes you feel like you are entering an out of this world restaurant. The seating is outside with music and sports going on (love that).
