After a long absence, ordered from Daglas last night... via DoorDash since driving wasn't advisable. Long ago I've come to grips that my favorite option, Combo #6, is no longer available and has to be built piecemeal but now I find that my other favorite, Pastrami Grilled Cheese, seems to have been discontinued. Dang... The cheeseburger was okay but seems smaller than I remembered. Tasted good but visually underwhelming for $8.20. The pastrami burger, albeit quite expensive, is a taste sensation; really liked it. The pastrami seemed a bit dry but on a burger that is okay. The funniest part is my dining partner's reaction to the fries. His first comment was quizzical if not a bit disgusted, "why is the bag so brown; is that grease?" and then followed by surp[rised satisfaction and joy. The taste of the fries and the seasoning are exceptionally satisfying. For us, Friday definitely was FRY DAY! read more

It's been a good while since I've been to Daglas, and it seems to have dropped off. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and the cheeseburger was okay. Not as flavorful and juicy as it was last time I was here. The fries were abundant and well cooked, but excessively salty. Very disappointing that this place has slid into mediocracy. Plus, they need to update their website. Prices are way off and some items are no longer offered. read more

I also come here for the fries and the patty melt , with extra grilled onions. Just ordered the small fries or you will be in for a massive overload! read more

This spot has been around for years and the quality is still the same! The pastrami sandwich is so good and loaded with lots of meat. It comes with seasoned fries and a drink. Definitely a valley gem. They have indoor and outdoor seating (limited space) but most people order to go. They also have parking in the back ... small lot but as long as it's not crowded parking is never really an issue. read more

To order, you just walk up to the window. You are greeted and asked for your order. I typically get a double cheeseburger with fries here, of sometimes, I'll get the pastrami with fries. Something about the fries though.. twenty years ago, they were bomb, now every time I go, I don't even want to order it with fries anymore because the last few times, they were not satisfying at-all. The pastrami isn't as good neither, but the burger is still solid. I've been coming here for roughly thirty years, maybe something about their parents? Being there and making food, was making it better? Anyways, try it. It's still good, just not great. The inside is small, but a chill place to grab a quick bite. read more

Daglas Drive In - This place has been here forever! Consistently good burgers and pastrami, very homely style food! - Burgers Near Me - Winnetka, California

Drove by countless time finally decided to try Daglas today. All around solid burger shack. Ordered a pastrami, bacon and cheese burger, gyro sandwich and chili cheese fries. I enjoyed the burger and fries the most. The fries were freshly cut, well seasoned and savory. Plenty of crisp bacon and tasty secret sauce in the burger. I was a little disappointed with the pastrami as I had high hopes after reading some of the reviews. The gyro was alright. Overall a good alternative to chain fast food burger joints. read more

It's been years since I last stopped by Daglas -- I used to come here all the time in high school. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. I loved the chopped lettuce and the soft, toasted sesame bun -- everything tasted fresh, with just the right balance of chicken and condiments. The only drawback was how messy it was to eat. Since the chicken is cut into several pieces, the sandwich tends to fall apart. Still, it was delicious, and I'll definitely be back! read more

Burger was very tasty but the bread was cracking and my burger kept falling apart. The fries are always delicious and the ranch is that "good ranch" I also ordered onion rings. I got a say. These are the best onion rings I've ever had!! No onions sliding out on every bite. No sogginess. Each bite was perfect. My husband got the pastrami Burger. He enjoyed it very much. Service was fine. It was a beautiful day so we decided to sit outside. It was a little loud but we didn't mind. read more

Daglas Drive is a burger joint has been around since 1979. Known for their Pastrami and French fries that are hand-cut from fresh potatoes! We love the char-broiled burgers with their special house mayo sauce. A great old school burger. The pastrami sandwich here is better than the Hat imo. Also, they make the best onion rings in town! Parking in the area is easy and they also share a private lot with Cupid's Hot Dog stand. Credit card and Cash accepted. read more

Without a shadow of a doubt thee best burger place in the valley outside of In N Out. Fries are unworldly and burgers taste like your dad BBQd them on a small charcoal grill lol. Huge portions as well. There's a reason this place has been around since the 70s. My only knock would be them charging an exorbitant amount for a side of ranch and a refill read more

You already know the business. I literally can't remember if I've reviewed this place before but I'll do it again. The burgers, they slap. The cute little inside area, cozy and nice. The crappy little window you order from? A vibe. The amount of fries you get? Aggressive. The seasoning on them? Perfect. Yeah it's a bit pricey for a burger spot so definitely come here with a friend and only get one combo and you're fine. I love places like this though and I will be back. Hell yeah, daglas. read more

Great burgers, better fries. Fast service and convenient. Small shack vibes. Been coming here since high school.

We got pastrami chili cheese fries. Who in the world makes sweet chili. Every bite taste like a spoon in the sugar jar. $20 bucks for a mediocre pastrami chili cheese fries. Do not come here, severely over priced. Ownership has bad attitude toward customers as well. Take your money somewhere else. Extremely disappointing read more

The food was tasty and the fries left us excited for next visit. Great service. We ordered take out

A hidden gem in the valley! Their burgers are so good and reasonably priced for the size that they come in, I would say that if you're a fan of the five guys styled burgers this place will exceed that farr more!!! Ive ordered in and out and both ways were always so fast with the service I have no complaints here :00 There is hidden parking so theres a heads-up there but if anyone is in the valley visiting or is new, definitely try this place read more

A friend recommended Daglas Drive-in to me and they never miss. This place is phenomenal! The staff were polite and the food came out promptly. Excellent burgers and their fries are out of this world. If you're looking for a great burger spot, Daglas Drive-in is a place to check out! read more

A locals burger joint known for their fries. It's been around for as long as I can remember. Plenty of parking. Food taste home made without the commercial chain funny business. The ingredients used seem mid. Fries portion are borderline large enough to share. Burgers are a grade = C and fries = B. I come here about once a year. Something about the ambiance makes it feel authentic old school 818. (Orange bang type of joint) Prices have gone up, and relatively pricey, but that's the cost of small business The service is friendly. The location is aged in front of a very busy street. However, the business makes it up by showcasing a very clean and immaculate kitchen. I would recommend this joint read more

My husband and I stopped by Daglas Drive-In for dinner. The hamburgers were delicious and the french fries were really good, though they were heavily salted. However, the taquitos were really underwhelming; considering the price, I was expecting full-sized portions rather than what felt like a box of lettuce. read more

I normally would order from Athenian Grill but since they closed I decided to give Daglas a try again. It's been a long time since going here, and I unfortunately will not be going back. The fries were beyond salty and greasy. Every single fries order tasted like it had been cooked with old oil and the bag showed the oil just penetrating through it. The beef patties were extremely thin. We ordered the pastrami burger, regular cheese burgers and pastrami sandwiches. I spent a total of $150, and honestly was very disappointed. read more

The fries here are fantastic! They're crispy, golden, and have a delicious seasoning that I absolutely love. I always get the large size, because it's a VERYYYY generous portion that's good for 2-3 people (and it's less than $10!). The burgers, on the other hand, are decent, but they don't stand out to me as much as the fries. For $8, I expect a little bit more juiciness and flavor than what I got. It's still a fairly good quality burger though! read more

Moved away for 3 years and had the #2 Easy Lettuce and a Root Beer today for the first time since then... THIS IS A TOP 5 BURGER IN LOS ANGELES. THE FRIES? ALSO TOP 5. The consistency is unbelievable. Literally NOTHING has changed, except my love for their burger and fries continues to grow. The seasoning, the char, the fixings; it's all so nostalgic. Takes me back to family BBQs in the park, or a backyard BBQ party with the homies, 4th of July, summer time. It's honestly a huge shame that no best burger lists on the internet mention Daglas. This is the true definition of IYKYK. And if you know, you're blessed. read more

I had been wanting to come back here for years! Last time I got food from Daglas Drive-In was a bit over a couple of decades ago. My old co-worker I used to work with always would rave about the big bag of yummy crispy fries. I couldn't believe that the food is still the same and the service is still pretty quick. I got the cheeseburger special that comes with a tray of fries and a drink for $15. The price seems a bit high but for the amount of food and quality... Plus supporting a long time independent business, I don't mind. By the way, if you have never been here before, don't enter through the small driveway next to Daglas. If you turn at the corner where Cupid's is at, there's a parking lot in the back. read more

I have never heard of this spot till one of my coworkers told us about it and decided to get it for lunch the other day so we all joined in! I wasn't hungry enough for a fully burger so one of my coworkers and I shared a Double Cheeseburger, onion rings, and small fries. I can't believe the amount of fries they give you! I LOVE IT!! I wish more places load you up with fries. And the best thing about these are the seasoning! So much flavor, not just regular salt, and the fry texture is perfection. You get some soggy and some crispy, the perfect balance! My coworker placed a phone order and left right after the call and came back in just a few minutes. That's how quick the service was and it was all so delicious! Looking at the exterior on Google maps, it looks like it might've been a drive thru at some point or some old car wash that was remodeled? The fries have won for sure and I would definitely come here just for fries. The burger was GREAT! Charbroiled and super saucy, wasn't dry at all. The onion rings however were pretty sad. Texture was there but it really lacked in flavor. It had no flavor at all!! Not even salted. If it had the same seasoning as the fries, I think it would be delicious! I'll have to come back here with my bf since he's never been. Can't wait! IG: @ammysalamii read more

Good burger!!! Way over priced!! $20.50 for a simple regular double cheeseburger combo is excessive. Yes the fries are good and they give you alot! Dont get me wrong it is still good but I think they are capitalizing a bit much... I mean for a small side of ranch $1.50 and to refill a medium soda $1.!!!! come on... place wasn't packed for a lunch rush and with the prices I see why. If you don't mind paying it's still a good burger but I can get 2 burger combos at Chillis with an appetizer and all the refills I want for the same price!! I mean they had to turn ON the grill to make my order because no one was there at 1pm, on a Friday!! Good burger tho read more

Horrible! One of the worst & driest / tasteless burgers i have ever had in my life & literally have tried burgers all over the valley & LA. The burger meat had absolutely no juices at all it was terrible & this is what happened to me the last two times i came here previously. I dont know how this place got good reviews. The bun is decent & yes i like the lettuce & even the red relish was tasty. But the burger quality is terrible. Just dry as hell crap. The fries quality is pretty good but they overseason the fries terribly it so bad. Nothing but salt is all you taste & the fries are a little soggy and could be way crispier. PS. To the manager or owner, how the hell do you think its ok to play Fox News in the tv area of your store when customers are eating! Keep politics out of food, especially when its coming from a right wing nationalist news network that supports fascism & ICE. Please understand the community you are serving and how yoi are literally spitting in the city's face with this crap. read more

Came here off a recommendation. The parking situation is bad. Park at the hot dog stand's lot in the rear or in the residential side street. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, order of onion rings and a Coke. Service was alright. Good came out in a reasonable amount of time. Burger just wasn't all that. Too much lettuce and ketchup. It was awful, just not memorable. Onion rings were actually the best part. read more

Burgers had fresh salad with that comforting charbroiled taste in the patties, which were not greasy. Surprisingly, you finish your meal not feeling that that guilt after eating fast food. However, the patties are rather thin for what is charged. We ordered the large fries and it could easily feed 4 people. It was well well seasoned, more to the salty side, but nonetheless good. You pick up your order at counter and ambiance is simple. read more
