The Press Burger Joint is the kind of low key spot that nails the important stuff and makes you want to come back soon. I got the single smash burger with jalapeños plus the chili fries, and both were excellent. Ash, the owner, was genuinely friendly and helpful, answered questions, and made the whole stop feel welcoming. The burger had that perfect smash style texture, crisp edges with a juicy center, melty cheese, and jalapeños that actually add real heat and bite. Everything tasted fresh and balanced. The chili fries were loaded with chili and cheese. Also, don't get thrown off finding it the first time. It's tucked away in the back parking lot, and there's plenty of parking right there, which makes it easy once you know where to pull in.

Visited concept smash again today and it did not disappoint! Tried one of their speciality burgers, the PBJ... WOW. Such amazing flavors. Highly recommend. The burgers are even toddler approved. My husband and son come here almost every Saturday for lunch. Customer service is fantastic. Ash is really friendly and genuinely cares about the food he is giving his customers. Check out their Instagram for latest updates on food and hours.

Today was my first time trying The Press. Ash is amazing! I got a single and some fries. Delicious is an understatement! All I can say is because Ash has great customer service and the food is more than satisfying, I will be back. Than you for an amazing experience!

The best new burgers in the valley!! I tried the whole menu and loved everything. The burgers are so juicy and delicious. I love the potato buns and and the pattys. My favorite was the Hawaiian burger, but also loved their original and the pb and j. You also have to get the cacio e Pepe fries

WOW! 10/10 I never thought I'd find a burger in LA that could top In-N-Out or the other smash spots--until I tried Concept Smash. This is hands-down a 10/10 burger experience. From the 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef to the Wagyu tallow-cooked fries, every detail is dialed in. No seed oils. No sketchy ingredients. Just primal, clean, insanely flavorful food. If you have food sensitivities, follow a clean diet, or just crave a ridiculously good burger, you have to try this place. Ash and the whole Concept Smash team are absolutely crushing it. HIGHLY recommend.

Small setup they have but that's all you need sometimes.

Small hidden gem with great food and people. Definitely recommend and be sure to try out the Parmesan/jalapeño sauce.

For the win--literally!…read more After a few hours of shopping, my daughter, granddaughter, and I decided to grab dinner at For the Win. We were all craving burgers, and nothing hits like a fresh smash burger. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon and all the toppings, plus a side of sweet potato fries and a cold brisk tea. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was super clean and had a festive vibe with Christmas music playing, which we loved. The staff were very welcoming, and the customer service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back to this location.

I had a pretty frustrating experience ordering from For The Win today, which completely defeated…read morethe purpose of ordering ahead. I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.

So far I've had the patty melt, the avocado cheeseburger, and the double bacon cheeseburger, and every single one has hit. First off, the bacon deserves its own mention. Whatever bacon they're using is clearly top-tier quality. Thick, flavorful, cooked right, and definitely not an afterthought. No flimsy strips or skimping here. The burgers are big. Like, legitimately big. These aren't sad, flattened patties. They're hearty, filling, and actually justify the price. They also don't hold back on the cheese, which I appreciate. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. What really surprised me, especially with inflation being what it is right now, is the value. Their combos are around $16-$17, and for that you get a large burger, a solid portion of fries, and a drink. And it's a fountain drink, not a can, which matters. You're not leaving hungry, and you don't feel like you overpaid. The fries are good, the specials are very reasonable for the quality, and they also have other drink options if you're not in the mood for soda. The vibe is another big plus. You can sit inside or outside, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the people working there are genuinely nice. It really feels like a family-owned spot where customer service still matters. You're treated like a person, not just an order number. For anyone in the neighborhood looking for a good burger, good people, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Oh, and yes, they do have restrooms, which always matters more than people admit. Overall, this is one of those places that gets the fundamentals right: quality food, fair pricing, and good service. I'll definitely keep coming back.
