Not many parking spaces. Parked next door. Had to walk past an unhoused person sleeping behind the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not much lighting around the restaurant at night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No ordering from a person, 4 screens available for you to input your own order. I was unable to use the BOGO so I ordered on the app. I saw two burgers placed in a bag. Waited a while, then inquired. It was mine. Not sure why they didn't call my name. I didn't receive a text until much later in the night. Fries were seasoned and cooked well. I enjoy the SmokeShack and was happy the app offered a BOGO.

Shake Shack on Topanga Canyon Boulevard was... fine. Aggressively fine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nothing stood out except maybe the indoor and outdoor seating, which was nice enough while I tried not to get irritated by the one way car entrance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whoever designed that clearly wanted to test my patience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a Friday and not even that packed, which tells you something.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My family wanted to go, so I went along, but on my own I wouldn't bother. It's the definition of standard. If you're starving and already in the parking lot, go for it, but if you're looking for something memorable, you can do better.

Whenever I'm in the area, shake shack is a must. First time getting the double smoke burger. 10/10. Little bit of spice and the patties were perfect. It is probably the best burger on the menu. I will be getting it everytime I go ! The cheese bacon fries were very disappointing. The bacon was crisp so can't complain about it. The cheese wasn't melted. It came in clumps. Not very appealing. The fries were crispy and a little crunchy. 7/10 The Oreo shake was pretty good. Good enough to sip on it and not struggle drinking it. The service was good. The cashier was very friendly and helped me choose my order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of shale shack was spotless. Very clean 10/10 cleanliness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I spent $28 on 3 items. Was it worth the $28? No, it was not. But will I be back? 100% I will

Chicken bites and korean burger

Its been a while since I ve visited this restaraunt. On the internet I saw the promo of korean bbq and I was excited. I was familiar with sweet and savoury unagi sauce, kimchi, samjang etc. from Korean cuisine. Non of that was in the chicken bites or burger - instead I got a tons of salt and tasteless food. You could tell the recipe especially on the sauce sauce were off. I can describe my experience as "the food not worth to come back for". The service was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is cool and they play nice music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also the place was almost empty which says something.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The second best cheeseburger besides In N Out The food is always so fresh and the milkshakes are really good. I love how moist and fresh the bun is and meat is always really good! The fries are bomb. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean and everyone is friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great place when you want a burger that isn't In N Out!

Ordered several items tonight and I came home missing the hotdog. This is the second time this happened at this location. Not sure what going on since it wasn't even busy and the food was also not that warm. They need to start double checking to make sure orders are properly fulfilled.

Smoky BBQ Burger

Smoky BBQ Burger & Deep-Fried Pickles Review I've passed by Shake Shack more times than I can count, but I usually only stopped in when they were featuring a wild shake like Caramel Apple or one of their seasonal specials. Today I finally decided to see what their food was all about, and I'm glad I did. I ordered their Smoky Classic BBQ Burger, double patty, this thing is stacked. The burger's got a thick, juicy char on the beef, melty American cheese, crispy onions, smoky sweet BBQ sauce, and thick-cut pickles that play off the sweetness perfectly. The toasted potato bun pulls it all together. My only (very minor) complaint? The bacon could've used just a touch more crispiness. But honestly, it didn't take away from the overall bite. Still a top-tier burger. On the side, I grabbed the deep-fried pickles. Golden brown, perfectly seasoned, and fried just right. Not too hot, not too cold. These were honestly some of the best I've had in a while, especially dunked in the ranch. What really stood out today though was the service. Jose was awesome. Friendly, super knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to love being there. He helped me figure out what to order, gave me the rundown on the BBQ specials, and even brought the tray over to my table when the food was ready. Great guy, great vibe. AND if that wasn't enough when I said, thank you to him as I left, he called me by my first name, he remembered from earlier when he took my order.......amazing. From the service to the food, everything was great. Keep it up shake shack!

Poppy's Sugar Cookie Shake

I came here for one purpose and purpose only. The limited time poppy sugar, cookie cookie shake. And I got to say it's a total gem. I like to eat the cotton candy off the top first because it could melt into the shake if you wait too long. It taste like a sugar cookie and is creamy and sweet. And I got to say the best way to order is through the app. I was a little adverse to the app thing as I've got plenty of apps installed on my phone. But any frequent visitor to Shake Shack should know that the app is the way to go. The burgers are kind of small and pricey. But man are they delicious. I don't know how they make them or what's in them, but they could be kind of addicting. It's kind of strange that there's a location in the mall and another location across the street. I think a few times I've ordered on the app at the wrong location. It's not so bad though. I just feel a little off kilter when I go up to the counter, asking for my order, being ready to find out that I ordered across the street. Oops!

ShackBurger- Fries Vanilla Shake

What can you say about Shake Shack that has not already been said. I arrived in Woodland Hills a bit earlier than expected, so my room was not ready. I needed lunch after my three-hour drive, so I drove around the area and stumbled across this Shake Shack Topanga location. I arrived after the lunch rush while the staff was cleaning up and there were several patrons sprinkled throughout the restaurant. There was no one staffing the front counter, so I went over to the self-serve kiosks to place my order. This is the first time I have eaten in a restaurant with zero human interaction. There was not so much as a hello when I walked in the door, and I did not hate it. I placed and paid for my order at the kiosk and took my number to a table to wait for my food. I was up washing my hands in the restroom when the food was delivered to the table. My order was a Double ShackBurger and French Fries. The burger was perfect, but the fries were a bit overcooked. I also had a vanilla shake which never disappoints. A firm 3-Stars due to the overcooked fries.

Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

My boyfriend tried the vanilla soft serve with Nutella filled Aboong. The warm fish against the cold ice cream created a great mix of textures and flavours, but once the fish is gone the ice cream itself is just ok. The taiyaki, in my humble opinion, are the winners. The Oreo taiyaki was absolutely delicious! It came out super fresh, they filled both the body AND tail with Oreo so every bite had a great ratio of chewy fish and filling. This location always fills their Taiyaki evenly which I appreciate, it's much better than the ones I've tried in Sawtelle. It's really affordable too, so definitely come try it.
