    Breakfast Burrito
    Dee G.

I've lived in the Valley since the 90s yet I've never been here. Every weekend I treat myself to a breakfast burrito and I've been driving by this place for a long time. Here for 44 years. I really enjoyed my $12 veggie burrito but adding avocado is not an option. If you read the other reviews you will notice that seasonings and sauce is not their strength so take it to go and do your thing at home. No dine in options or a public restroom. The service was great and quick. You do have the option of sitting outside. Burritos are bigger and cheaper than what you get at the farmers' market. Owner is not friendly but who cares. I would go back.

14$ is different than 42$ asian guy at register very rude. He intentionally charged me even tho I told him not to charge it again.

In my opinion over priced average Burger spot. No dining unless you want to sit outside .

    All fat, no steak

This place sucks. They should call their "steak and egg burrito" a fat and egg burrito. Terrible service and quality to sell this. -5 stars

Went there for the breakfast burritos since they serve them all day. Got the all meat burrito and it tasted just meh. They skimped on the bacon and it could have used more seasoning. There is no seating inside although I wasn't planning on eating there but they did have seating outside so you could wait for your food.

    Grilled ham and cheese

I don't know what the hell happened to this place, but I will NEVER be going back. Used to be awesome. Just went in to get lunch. It was hotter than outside, no inside dining, cramped. Got the grilled ham and cheese. The picture is below. The bread was smashed paper thin, one tin piece of ham, smaller than my fist for $9!?!?! No soda machine, not a grain of salt on the fries which tastes like the oil hasn't been changed in months! If this is a new owner, they need to rethink ever working in food. Horrible! Do not go!

Have been visiting this burger joint a lot in the past - always got a double cheeseburger. Recently revisited this place again to see whats changed. There is no dine in option - they have small out door area that is placed by the noisy road so I would not recommend it. The food is being prepared on the actual grill with flame - burger wise this place is really worth trying - I would say one of the top burger places in SFV - the burger has 1000 island sauce, fresh crispy veggies and 2 patties. Not the juiciest one but tastes great! The portion is big and costs only $9. They have freshly squeezed orange juice, soda and a bunch of other items in the menu. The service is always fast. P.s. i have tried few other items from the menu like breakfast burrito or melts - they are no good lol. So go for burgers only!

    Double Cheeseburger special.

A classic place the problem is they have limited hours now. Burgers are great. Family owned staple off Topanga Canyon.

The deli sandwiches, pesto chicken panini, and vegetarian wraps were all incredibly fresh and generously filled with high quality meats, cheeses, and perfectly baked bread. Each sandwich had its own unique dressing, which elevated the flavors to another level: bold, well balanced and anythng but ordinary. The potato salad and mac n' cheese salad were creamy, rich and full of flavor, making them the perfect savory side dishes that trully complemented the meal. The fresh fruit and salad platters were impressive on their own: vibrant, crisp and prepared with top quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. MKBG catering is delicious, satisfying and a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Highly recommended for any event!

While the exterior might be unassuming, stepping inside is a delight. The space is bright and inviting, boasting an open-concept design, beautiful art displays, and a genuinely cool, welcoming atmosphere. The background music was perfectly chosen, setting a wonderful tone for the meal. The warm hospitality started immediately; every staff member, including our wonderful server, Savannah, greeted us with a genuine smile. The menu offers a fantastic variety, but the food itself was the true highlight. We shared three items, and everything was executed flawlessly: * Belgian Waffles: Simply perfect. They maintained an incredible crunch, had the ideal level of sweetness without extra syrup, and were truly loaded with fresh bananas and berries. * Spinach, Queso Fresco, and Mashed Avocado: A perfectly balanced and fresh combination. * Chimichurri Steak Quesadilla: Absolutely heavenly. A special shout-out must go to their side of potatoes--they were the most perfectly formed and flavored potatoes I have ever had! We loved the food so much we immediately ordered another side of potatoes and another round of waffles. The service from our server, Savannah, was A++++. Her attentiveness elevated the whole experience. I am already planning my next visit and will be enthusiastically recommending Main Kitchen Bar and Grill to everyone!

I usually order this same meal and genuinely love it, but today just felt like a miss. The toast was extremely thin and hard--almost more like a crisp than bread. I asked if there was another option or even just a different slice, but was told that all the bread was like that, which was surprising since that hasn't been my experience here before. The house-made jam was also off today--it was much more watery than usual and didn't have that same rich texture I'm used to. The potatoes were underwhelming as well--lacking seasoning and slightly burnt. I will say, the server was kind and did bring out a vegan date pastry after I had already received my bill, which I appreciated. It just wasn't something I would typically choose, and nothing was adjusted on the bill. For the price, I just expected more consistency and care, especially from a place I usually really enjoy. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but today it just wasn't up to par. I'm hoping this was just an off day because I've had much better experiences here in the past and would love to see them get back to that.

If you cannot get street parking in front of the cafe, you are better off parking in the Harbor Freight parking lot off Nordhoff and taking the 2 minute walk. Yellow House is nestled between other small businesses but you won't miss the entrance as it is highlighted by a big yellow wall. Ambiance: The exterior of the building almost plants the idea that the cafe will be small, but once entering the building you get a different feeling. The interior is spacious even having 2 stories. The interior exudes a calm, cozy, minimalistic feel. It really does feel like you are walking into a warm inviting yellow home, albeit a little loud and busy.
