Plain fries no seasoning salt or regular salt
    Genghis P.

Food was plain and dry asked for no tomato and of course they put tomato. Fries were plain and no flavor at all no seasoning salt or regular salt. Don't think I will be coming back here. I question the sanitation practices and hand washing procedures. Couldn't finish my food. Waste of $18.11

    Cheese burger with grilled onions

Came here for lunch while out running errands and I was very pleasantly surprised by this place I was very pleased with my meal and the service was great Javier took my order and he was very friendly and told me this place has been open since 1961 all I'm saying is open that long and survived Covid you know this place is good. There are many returning loyal customers is one of the first thing I've noticed while sitting waiting for my food all shaking hands or waving at each other.

The food is decent and the portions are solid, but everything really lacked seasoning. I had a burger, onion rings, and fries, and honestly, every single item needed salt. The quality of the ingredients is there, but the flavors were just flat because of the lack of salt. It's a good, unpretentious spot for a quick meal, but the kitchen definitely needs to be more heavy-handed with the seasoning.

$7.99 special. Chesburger with fries and drink
    Leslie M.

Came here on a whim as we were driving by and saw a big sign that said $7.99 special. Burger with cheese, fries and small soda. We pulled in and ordered two of the special and wow we were not disappointed. They offer a variety of foods from American to Mexican and we did not try that but we did see alot of people came in to order the Mexican so we'll have to try it later. The burger was on the smaller side but for the price you really can't ask for more. It was so good and the fries were super crispy. They have a seasoning salt to put on the fries that I highly recommend. For $18 with tax, not a bad day. Will be back

Carne asada burrito with no meat
    Michael C.

So my friend and I went here about 3pm yesterday, it wasn't busy at all. We just got out the gym and wanted to get a burrito with some carne asada for protein. We go here to try it and ordered 2 carne asada burritos which came out to $29. There was less than a teaspoon of meat in the burrito and I asked for sides of green salsa and the guy told me it was in the burrito,l. I love salsa so I got one extra side of it anyway. After eating the burrito it was less the a teaspooon of carne asada. Zero salsa inside. And Hardly any cheese. Mostly was just beans rice and tortilla. Horrible!!! What a waste. Will definitely not be back to this place. Either the guy at the counter straight up lied, or the chef was not following instruction. I am so disappointed and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped by to take my lunch since I'm not from the area and I needed to take my DOT lunch because I was working I gave them a shot and it was pretty good food . the service was fast and the prices were really good . Rarely do you find a place that sells a cheeseburger special for under $10 the place is not the best looking and neither is the location but it did the job

UPDATE: My hubby wanted Big Fat tonight. I told him if he brings it home, I'll divorce him!! I had to use my husband's account because my Yelp isn't working, but I am throughly DISGUSTED by the way the owner treats his loyal customers. There are two brothers. Javier is very cool, but the other guy who used to be the cook with his son, now works the register and is sooo RUDE!! Every time I go there it's a crap shoot. Several times I've ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and NO bacon! Now they have a young kid grilling the burgers that has ZERO personality and NO clue. And these are the kids that want $20 an hour??? I told him NO dressing/mayo so the bun doesn't get soggy, so instead he decides to put 15 wet pickles on it! The bun was so wet it just fell apart, and I couldn't eat the bottom bun. I showed the rude owner (can't remember his name) a video of it, and he said "Well, that could have been caused by something else". Wait, WHAT??? Did I take a fire hose to my burger???? I told him I wasn't asking for any refund or anything but just wanted to show him what I DIDN'T want and to make sure he put the pickles on the side. Then he says, "Out of all my customers, you're the only one that has problems". I said, "So, it's my fault you don't put on what people order and pay for??" How is that MY fault?? What you're REALLY mad about is that I complained"! Then he handed me the burger just wrapped in yellow paper, NO bag, and of COURSE, no pickles on the side tells me to go! Been going there for years and feel bad now that I'vr referred so many people there. Even the lady at the liquor store next door said the place has gone downhill, and they rarely order there anymore. Sad, because I try to support small businesses, but I think I'll stick to In~n~Out. (In fact, I'm going there NOW!) At least they're consistent, less expensive, friendly, and APPRECIATE the business.

This eatery provided excellent customer service, thanks to Margarita. Horseless Carriage Restaurant was busy and plenty of people dining. As soon as we walked in Margarita welcomed us and walked us to our booth. She made some suggestions and informed us of their famous plates on the menu. We decided to try our her recommendations. We ordered Carne Asada Skillet Special, Sunny Side Special Burger with Fries and 2 orders of Fish & Chips. Food was yummy. The Carne Asada Skillet Special was served on a sizzling plate. It's was more than enough for one person. The Sunny Side Burger with Fries is huge and plentiful. Patty was tender and not overcooked nor undercooked. It was the right temperature. Fish N' Chips was also on point. We can't wait to come back and try other food items on Horseless Carriage Restaurant's menu.

The ingredients in the omelette were not distributed to through with care. The feta cheese was on one side, the bell peppers on the other side, just no care in how it was prepared. I asked for sourdough toast, but was given warm wheat bread. I had to ask for a 2nd cup of coffee. The waitress never checked the back to see if I needed anything, or if everything was okay. Bad food, bad service, didn't meet the minimum expectations = no tip. $26.34 is already to much to charge for a lousy breakfast! I usually enjoy this restaurant, so will try it again sometime. I hope this is a one-off visit.

We're so glad we did. We got lucky that when we came for dinner the parking lot was empty. Within about 20 minutes it was completely full with people just double parked waiting for someone to leave. This is a place that I think would best serve being able to walk to or get things to go to enjoy elsewhere. However, if you were to not dine in, you wouldn't be able to experience the very friendly and helpful staff. They're all running around taking orders, prepping parts of meals, and calling out finished orders, yet they do it with such a seamless rhythm and ease. Even when they were in full blown dinner rush mode the moved with a calmness yet urgency that I wish other restaurant employees could study. The customer service was fantastic. the interior is small, but fun. It's got the feel of a 50s diner with a mural of classic Hollywood figures. Booths and tables are a bit small, but clean and look well maintained. In all, it's a great, inviting place to eat. The food was very good. It's your classic diner fair. Nothing special but they offer everything from breakfast to sandwiches to burgers and Mexican food. Breakfast is also served all day (except for waffles much to my kids' disappointment isn't served during dinner hours). My kids tried the cheeseburger and loved it. My youngest devoured his hot dog and I really enjoyed my Ruben sandwich (though I wish I could've had it on rye bread). Honestly, my only real complaint about the food was that the fries were somewhat bland and everything felt about a dollar or two too much. Though, I will admit that is just the state of restaurants these days. I am no knocking them for that, just pointing out that this isn't really going to be a cheap meal. A tasty & filling one for sure, but not cheap. In all, you can tell why Beeps has been around for decades. It knows what it is and does it well. This is a place that can become a family staple restaurant. And with their huge menu, it would take a long time to get through everything which I love.

Brent's Deli is an institution in the San Fernando Valley, and it may just be its best. One thing…read morefor sure, the portions are generally humongous so you will never leave hungry. Nothing succeeds like excess. In fact, most people will need a take out box for one less meal to cook. Delicatessen means delicate eating in German, but at a Jewish American Delicatessen, the emphasis is on the Eating, which I am not complaining. 1) I requested an off menu item of having a Reuben sandwich where half is Corned Beef and the other Pastrami. Brent's Reuben has warm Sauerkraut, grilled Rye bread, melted Swiss Cheese, 1,000 Island dressing. Thinly sliced, multi-layered Mound of Pastrami is a bit on the dry side. Curing doesn't create a deep meaty Umami and spicing is present but attenuated. The Corned Beef is moister with bit more Umami & plush, thin multi-layered red colored meat. I have to say the Pastrami at Langer's is cured more intensely to bring out a deep Umami as well as more complex and complementary spicing of especially warm spiced cloves that adds aromatic richness. Brent's Pastrami doesn't seem to reach that kind of apotheosis. 1b) I asked for the steak fries to be fried two minutes longer for a crisper finish which was honored. Not much in way of that distinctive potato earthiness, but acceptable. 1c) Coleslaw is mayonnaise based, watery, bland, but a good cruciferous, fibrous veggie to add more fibre, healthful phytochemicals to counter the meat overload even though it isn't flavourful 2) Carrot Cake is closer to a delicate, dense, moist spice cake. A slice is enormous since it is cut from an extra tall cake studded with crushed walnuts and a cream cheese like not too sweet frosting. At $14 it could feed 4 people. Service is fine. They take your order and run with it. Bit of tunnel vision where it may be a bit hard to flag them down. But the job does get done. Overall 3+ stars
