I've been in the area for 23 years and we've frequented this establishment many times. Though the drive-through can take a long time, even if you're the only one in line, the food has been good, and the service has been mediocre.. This past weekend I went through the drive-through to get my son a burger and fries and I specified no cheese. The order was correct when she repeated it back to me and when they repeated it at the window, it was correct. But after I got my food and was about to drive away, I even grabbed her attention one more time JUST to make sure, " I know you've already said this twice, but I wanna triple check that there's no cheese on his burger because he is allergic"... to which she replied, " no cheese". When we got home, there was not only cheese on his burger, there was a piece of plastic inside! I was upset about the cheese, but the plastic takes it to a whole new level. Called to let them know, and though they were apologetic about the cheese, I feel like they didn't believe me about the plastic . Maria/Mari (manager) just keep saying how they don't know where it could've come from, the only plastic they have is on their bun package, etc. I have no idea either, but the plastic was there and I don't feel like replacing my son's burger was enough. I went through the trouble of saving the plastic in a baggie and waiting until a manager or owner was at the establishment, but again, it really did not feel like she believed me as she kept saying they don't have any plastic besides the bun wrapping and even compared it against the wrapper in front of me. I have no idea either... but I know I don't frequent food establishments to complain about foreign objects in the food to get a free meal. Sadly, I don't think they handled this situation to the best of their ability and their customer service is greatly lacking, in addition to quality control. I ordered a beef dip sandwich and chili fries. They are very slow preparing your order. I chose to go so I didn't really notice the seating area. It appeared clean and tidy. As for the food, the beef in the sandwich had very little taste or texture although generous. The chili for the fries was thin and watery and lacking flavor - the worst chili fries I've ever had. Stopped by and and had a Holiday Burger (no cheese) and onion rings. Soooo good! Live this local burger spot. The burger was spot on with a nice sized patty and lettuce and their sauce. The onion rings were plentiful and fried to perfection. Flaky, crisp and not dry at all. Also comes with a ranch dip that is awesome. After about 50 years I'm done with this place and walked away from my uneaten undelivered food not to return, my onion rings were sitting there getting cold. I was told to take them to my table and my burger will be ready in a minute, but as the minutes go by my onion rings are just getting colder. I've seen them take burgers that were sitting on the counter already cooked put them back on the grill. I'm getting so tired of those overcooked dry burgers that they've been giving me one out of 10 burgers are juicy and good. It's just getting so bad this place I'm done. I love this burger restaurant. They have other foods too, and their other stuff is delicious! The burgers always hit the spot though. Drive thru can suck because all foods are made to order. Always expect some wait time due to this, although the workers are working hard, it is what it is. Worth the wait for freshness. The inside dining area is quite big. I paid about $15 for chili cheese fries and a large orange Bang, and honestly, it didn't feel worth it. The portion was surprisingly small, especially considering the size of the container--it looked half empty. There was barely any chili on the fries, and what was there was chunky and kind of dry, lacking real flavor. I even had to add mustard just to give it some taste. I was also charged extra for a side of pickles, which was fine, but didn't make up for the overall quality. For comparison, I've had much better chili and more satisfying portions at Wendy's. Diner type menu and feel inside but with a drive thru. I went for a breakfast burrito but their burgers and sandwiches looked so good too. The breakfast burrito was very filling although lacked a little salt and j even got it with bacon and sausage. Service was initially not the best. Got to the counter and no greeting whatsoever. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this place yet so many of my Yelpies have already been here lol! My bf and I were craving some burgers but not from our usual spots so we decided to try this place after work. Basically drove through the SFV for this! Parking lot is extremely tiny and people do not know how to park so I had to squeeze my car in somehow. Walked in, it's definitely a run down place, the booth seats are all cracked and the place looks dirty but they say these are the best food spots when it looks like this lol. Still, it's very off putting and I'd much rather eat at home because of this. The cashier was such a lovely lady and had such a happy personality which felt very welcoming. We ordered a holiday hamburger, she asked if I wanted cheese and I said no. My bf got a pastrami burger and fries and I also got a medium horchata to go with my burger. Food came out in about 15 minutes and we took it home to enjoy. The horchata was splendid! Super delicious, not overly sweet, sometimes they can be watered down but this place was spot on! My burger had cheese which was unfortunate but I ate it regardless until about halfway, I just wasn't feeling it anymore. Overall my burger was dry. I opened it and it looked like it had no sauce at all even though these should have thousand island in them. Sad. I was very excited because it looked nice and flattened which is odd of me to say but I like my burgers that way. My bf enjoyed his pastrami burger and fries. A lot of options if you're looking for something else like fried zucchini, breakfast burrito, pastrami and a whole bunch of other items. Driver through - It always has people in the line. And usually takes a long time. For lunch it gets packed so be willing to wait the 15+ mins. Solid breakfast and breakfast burritos. Chili cheese fries are okay. Driving home to the Bay area, we stopped to get a snack for the long Drive. Ordered fries to go, and took longer than I expected to receive, especially for a burger joint. Fries were hot and smelled enticing, so with the easy entrance to the freeway we were off. Had to let them cool a bit before indulging ourselves. First fries were good, then a few that were overcooked and hard/crunchy but the surprise were the next few fries that were way under cooked - tasted like raw potatoes that had been dipped in oil. Overall about 30 percent of our order was under cooked, 20 percent was over cooked and too crispy and the rest were tasty, except for a bit too much salt. The good fries were tasty, but for $6.00 for an order of fries, to only get about half the order that was enjoyable made for an expensive snack. read more

Love this spot! One of my favorites is their double bacon with cheese which is overflowing with flavor as you sink your teeth into each savory bite. The flavor profile is delicious and does not disappoint the taste buds. Now we cannot leave out their Avocado Bacon Cheese burger which is equally as delicious and pumping with flavor. They do have other great options but these are must try's when you are in the area. No place can be great unless they have an equally great staff and service is on point. Had a craving for an ice cold Orange Bang which is hard to get these days. Reminds me of my childhood and Julius Caesar at the Northridge Mall. I ordered a beef burrito under the Mexican dishes, they used hamburger patties instead of the ground beef that they use in tacos. If that's the way they make them I have no problem, but you would think taco meat and burrito meat would be the same. On the menu, it says ground beef. It does not say ground beef patties. this place gave me high hopes, my coworker, an old time vet, recommended me this place, I thought hey burger place off the side of the freeway in a bit of a run down area is a recipe for a great burger but boy was I wrong. All and all the whole thing cost 50 bucks, I wouldn't be bitter about blowing that much if the food was good but it wasn't. The burger was bland and the chili too, to the point where even adding salt couldn't save them. Even if the food is bad usually a good sauce can save it. One problem though, their thousand island tasted like mayo with a hint of ketchup and their ranch is extremely under seasoned. I've been coming here for years and have never had a problem. Their food for the most part is delicious. But this breakfast plate was NOT IT. Hash browns were nasty as hell; they were burnt on the outside and just straight mush inside, and tasted old too. Same with their sausage, it tasted old and just not good AT ALL.
