    Cheesesteak extra cheese no onions
    Katherine P.

So this is your good ole fashion burger, breakfast, cheesesteak hut. You walk in and you smell the grease and smoke from the flat top grill. Just good tasting food for a good price. We got the cheesesteaks, fried zucchini, fries and a cheeseburger and we were stuff and pleasantly happy with our food. The person taking our order isn't the friendliest but isn't mean either he just wants to get down to business and get your order placed and handed to you. They have a few booths inside and some tables outside in the back of the restaurant. Definitely not a place to hang out and eat, though just order and take it home.

Growing up in SoCal, burgers are a big part of life. Beyond In-N-Out, there are plenty of great local spots. I remember my neighbor's burger joint -- a highlight of block parties. Fast forward to high school, and Tip Top became a regular spot, especially since I had friends in the area. After all these years, the quality is still just as good. The charbroiled flavor, the creamy thousand island dressing, and those perfectly crispy hot fries -- it's a winning combo. I was nearly done, but a gym date was calling. I asked for a to-go box, and the guy looked a little disappointed. We both laughed and joked, "Skip the gym, finish the meal!

So I was delivering. Items I sold on eBay. Got off the freeway, and I noticed the small little burger stand but it said Philly. Cheesesteaks. Dropped off the package drove back to little stand. Those approximately five people in line, I asked them, how is the food and everyone said, excellent. I wasn't that hungry. So I tried the burger and it was excellent. The philly cheesesteak looked great. Also here are some pictures plus the burger The bun wasn't really thick. It was nice and soft

Their burgers are done just perfectly, patty is not dry, bun is not crumbly when you bite into it, patty matches bun size! I had it with bacon and with avocado! Both times good amount of bacon and generous serving of guacamole style avocado. Fried zucchini is made to order! Small finger size keeps zucchini crispy longer! Onion rings are fresh made to order! Love everything burger and fried stuff out of this place! It's truly a burger flavor gem in the valley! I never sat inside to eat. I always took it to go!

Small little spot in the valley. Easy spot to get to from the freeway and it made for a nice stop on our way back home up north. I had the Philly cheesesteak with grilled peppers and onions and it was delicious. Not your standard cheesesteak and I believe it could've either been a little juicier on the meat and maybe a little cheesier but it was nice and hot. Fries were well cooked but not seasoned so well and definitely from a bag. Still trying to find a local spot that makes homemade fries or rings. We also ordered an order of rings, which were delicious. Another freezer bag option but these were definitely the premium kind. Overall the service was provided by the owner and he was friendly and you could tell he runs a tight ship but overall nice and friendly service with a quick turnaround with the food. Good overall experience, with hot tasty food, along with eating inside, where it was nice and clean, for the little location they work with. A little pricy for the style of food but that had to be everywhere these days. If I had a chance I'd definitely go here again, maybe passing through and way better than the average fast food joint. I really wish you could give half stars because this place is definitely around a 4.5 for the style of food.

First timer here. The restaurant looks like authentic diner from 60s. They have a small dining area and a patio outside. The portion is big enough for one hungry person and the price was good. I got a philly cheesesteak with a soft drink and fries. The cheesesteak was really well seasoned and grilled and was delish! Fries was perfectly crispy and good. My order was ready in minutes. I noticed that people keep coming here, they have their regulars. I have to try their hamburgers next time as well! Good job and I recommend everyone to try this place

I love this place! The staff has always been very pleasant and welcoming. They truly appreciate their customer. Hands down... the best. Other should take notes on the basics of just being a decent person. The food has always been good. I literally have cravings for their Philly Cheese Steak with Hot Crispy Fries and an Ice Cold Beverage. Don't forget a side of the ranch for dipping your fries. The ambiance is classic. It's an older building with a small dining room with black and white signed pictures of actors and celebrities who are customers of Tip Top. Strike up a conversation with the owner while you take in the wonderful smell of your food cooking. I will be returning. Enjoy!! #jsho Pro Tip: They do charge for refills.

Sorry, I forgot to take pictures. All orders are made fresh to order. Hubby usually orders the Works Philly. Daughters had the cheeseburger and chicken sandwich, both tasty. I had pastrami, that is simple but good. Can't forget the side of zucchini and fries! Yummy!

Both of the flavors are just so well crafted, plus you get so much avocado with each of your dishes. We were really excited for the tiramisu French toast though. I usually order this same meal and genuinely love it, but today just felt like a miss. The toast was extremely thin and hard--almost more like a crisp than bread. I asked if there was another option or even just a different slice, but was told that all the bread was like that, which was surprising since that hasn't been my experience here before. The house-made jam was also off today--it was much more watery than usual and didn't have that same rich texture I'm used to. The potatoes were underwhelming as well--lacking seasoning and slightly burnt. I will say, the server was kind and did bring out a vegan date pastry after I had already received my bill, which I appreciated. It just wasn't something I would typically choose, and nothing was adjusted on the bill. For the price, I just expected more consistency and care, especially from a place I usually really enjoy. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but today it just wasn't up to par. I'm hoping this was just an off day because I've had much better experiences here in the past and would love to see them get back to that.

Our waiter, Marcus, was so kind and attentive. We told him it was our first time visiting, and he happily told us that pretty much everything is made fresh in house. We all pretty much went for lunch food, but wanted to sample the housemade sausage so we ordered a spicy turkey patty to share. It was so flavorful! I went halfsies with a patty melt/curly fries and a cajun chicken sandwich/regular fries. I was easily able to swap the rye for sourdough and jack for American cheese. The Lox Benedict is just phenomenal-- eggs runny to perfection, English muffin nicely toasted, the lox is very good quality and their Hollandaise sauce that's topping Benedicts is just out of this world. Perfect in smooth texture and consistency, and with flavor notes of lemon juice, egg yolk, some salt and cayenne pepper, their sauce is the true headliner and completes this amazing breakfast dish. All ingredients work so well together and as you take your first bite, you know you're now in the territory of a very pleasant morning. My Benedict was accompanied by super tasty freshly made breakfast potatoes. I like to order mine slightly well done, with a bit of char on them. And as a side note, their black coffee is strong and very flavorful. I normally finish out my breakfast with that cup of coffee and their home made strawberry and apricot jams that they serve you complimentary at the table. Nat's has vibes of an old school diner with waiters who are still genuinely smiling, which is pleasing and rare. The customer service is excellent and they have about 15-20 comfy booths with a few additional tables for your dine-in pleasure. Just a great spot and I will definitely be back soon!

While two kind waiters originally came to our group to just offer coffee and water, a hostess randomly came up to our group and rudely said "well, your group has been here for 40 minutes now and still haven't ordered and we need the tables". First and foremost, our group had not been there for 40 minutes yet, and if we had been, that would have showed how delayed their service was. Secondly, the hostess came off very rude and aggressive, she could have asked if we were just ready to order. Finally, we had been waiting for someone to take our order the entire time! We kindly advised we had been waiting to order. She ruined the vibes for the entire group, and we did not feel welcome for the rest of the experience. The waiters were extremely kind, just not whoever the hostess was on 5/9/26. Waffles came out first, would have made more sense to have them after the main meal. Eggs Benedict were very traditional, seasoned well but nothing to rave for. They definitely have a different take on chilaquiles, not what I was expecting but decently seasoned. Food is around 6.5-7/10. Well seasoned, flavorful but not unique. Not coming back to this location to due the experience unfortunately.

I am unsure about parking in the rear lot, as I was fortunate to find parking in front of the restaurant during my two visits here.

Met a friend for a weekend brunch and we found this restaurant on yelp as the halfway point. First…read moreimpression was great. The place is cozy, rustic and very family friendly with kids drawing/artwork displayed throughout. They also have a nice patio seating option, but it was a bit cold the day we went. We were immediately greeted and told that we can order via the QR code process or go to the front to order/pay and it's a cashless restaurant. Service was prompt and attentive. We tried the spring omelette, berry crepes and oatmeal. Everything was beautifully presented and satisfying. The omelette could've benefited from a tad more salt/seasoning but there was a habanero hot sauce in the table that perked it up. I would consider returning next time I'm in the area. There is a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant (enter through the alley) but it fills up fast.
