This review is strictly about the chilaquiles rojos. With a name like Garcia bros, I was expecting these to taste way better. Sauce: tasted like canned tomato sauce attempted to be dressed up but was poorly executed. Chips: soggy Cheese: Cotija would've been a better choice, queso fresco didn't help the blandness. Onion: raw thick slices of purple onion, thinly sliced pickled onion would've tasted better. Flavor: where's the salt?? These tasted odd yet bland. Price: roughly $18 with just eggs on top. I'll stick to my usual go to spot that tastes way better and is less expensive. Rating: 3/10 I also had their iced chai latte which was a 10/10 however I ended up getting chorro a few hours later so take with that what you will. I am always hopeful in finding a good Mexican brunch spot but this was a huge miss for me. read more

We came here due to the good reviews but we weren't impressed. I'm Leaving a low review due to the such high prices and low transparency. The total was $86.22 for chilaquiles (one with chicken and other with steak), bottle water and cafe de olla. We didn't get an itemized receipt and didn't want to be cheap so tipped and left. With tip, it was $101.74 and after doing the math, our meals were way too expensive, waited 45+min, long wait for food so won't be returning. As further context, we know adding chicken or steak would be extra but we weren't told exactly how much the steak would be up front or the bottle water. My recent visit to Garcia bros was not a home run. Service was great, but the food missed the mark. I got the tomatillo eggs with chicken and while I liked the flavor of the salsa, the chicken was so dry and unenjoyable. I did like the beans it came with. My son got the kids French toast and it tasted like plain bread with powdered sugar on top. Not good at all. My husband's buttermilk pancakes were ok. Our other guest ordered the Mexican omelet which initially came out with burned edges, so they sent it back to be remade. The second time around, it was tasty! They loved the chorizo in the omelet. Shout out to Daniela who just made our day. She is sweet and very patient and professional, knows the menu, gives great recommendations, and even has the barista to adjust our latte to make it even better. Everything we have here is Scrumptious! Pancakes: we had match berry pancake and tiramisu pancake. Both are mouthwatering. The pancake itself is moist and fluffy, very addictive. The creamy sauces come with the pancakes are rich and add the flavors to already delicious cakes. The presentation is beautiful and elegant. I can eat it everyday. Pasta: fettuccine with shrimp. Totally legit Italian cuisine. Very authentic sauce cooked to perfection and the shrimps (add on for $7) are juicy and very generous. The toast comes with the pasta is so good. Ranchero: I didn't try it but was told it's crispy and just perfect. Pistachio matcha latte: definitely better than any pistachio latte I had in Vegas even I'm not a matcha fan. You can taste the crushed pistachio with the latte art for dining in. We also to go coconut latte which is dark espresso and with toasted coconut flavor. I can't tell you how many times I have passed by this place over the years. It has always been full of people eating here or waiting to eat here. Must be good I kept on saying.... Then today while in the area I stopped by to have lunch with my mom. Welcoming and friendly service. Our waitress was amazing so was everyone else that had contact with us. They sure know customer service !!!! The menu is big with both breakfast and lunch options. Also coffee and juice. We shared a spicy tuna wrap with sweet potato fries. I immediately regret sharing it cause it was so good. Fresh flavors with good tasting tuna salad. Arugula, avocados, tomatoes and more. So so good. My mom got an iced coffee and I got a coconut latte iced as well. They were ok but honestly I'm not here to rate coffee at a cafe that serves good food. So next time I will try other things from the menu and update my review. I'm assuming everything tastes good here. We shall see. The ambiance is nice also with both indoor and outdoor seating. Decided to try Garcia Bros for brunch and boy was it an experience! The place itself is a little small. A handful of indoor and outdoor seating. Although not the most comfortable, the food and drink were excellent! They have a delicious Cafe de Olla and Tiramisu latte but the star of the show, of course, was the chilaquiles. I feel like it's hard to find good chilaquiles but guys... I found one! It was one of those "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" moments when I reached the bottom of my plate. It's a small cozy place. Only a few tables inside and some outdoors. Friendly abd quick Service. It was early so only 3 tables were occupied. I sat at the corner but the back door kept open and the wind was pretty strong so I asked to moved to other table. Food were out in a timely manner. Nice presentation. However, the taste was not that great. The salad that came with my food looks like it has been out for a while. Dry and some wilted araarugula. I got a spicy chicken omelet. Was it spicy? Nope. Only a few chopped jalapeño thats not spicy, very little amount of chicken and basil. Pretty unsatisfied with this omelet. Maybe it's an off day, or too early? Not for me? I think so. Pretty good food! It wasn't like super special but still tasty, you get a good portion for what you order however it is on the pricer side. I like that they offer speciality coffees that was the best, and they have interesting specials for food as well. A lot of unique options for pancakes which is great if you like super sweet at times. Service was pretty good they were attentive, there was a small wait, they seem to get pretty busy on the weekends. Parking was definitely difficult, they have a back parking lot which is nice but a lot of the spots are reserved for other businesses, street parking wasn't too difficult to find but may need to walk a bit. I came here by myself for breakfast because I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time. It's always packed, so I assumed the food and service would be worth the wait. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I was seated in the very corner, and after my order was taken and my food was dropped off, I was completely forgotten. No one checked on me--not once. No one asked how my food was, if I needed a refill, or if I needed anything else. I sat there watching the tables around me receive attentive service while I was completely ignored. The people behind me were checked on multiple times while I couldn't even get someone's attention. I eventually had to wave down the hostess just to ask for a to-go box and my check because my server never came back. It honestly made me feel invisible. To make matters worse, the food was mediocre at best. It definitely didn't live up to the hype, and it certainly wasn't worth the poor service. I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Between being completely neglected and the underwhelming food, I have no reason to come back. After the airport, we came here for some brunch. Our waitress told us that the best items were the chilaquiles and the huevos rancheros. We got both of them, cut them in half and ate those. Then we saw a tiramisu French toast on the sign and gave that an order as well. If you come here, I feel you need to get both the huevos rancheros and the chilaquiles. They actually balance each other perfectly. Both of the flavors are just so well crafted, plus you get so much avocado with each of your dishes. We were really excited for the tiramisu French toast though. Our order came out looking like pancakes, but it was okay, because these pancakes were made extremely well. They don't have the same texture or density as normal pancakes. They taste a lot better. Plus how they combine all the ingredients is especially lovely. Would come back after going to the airport. Service is great and everyone is so kind and attentive. Ambiance is either indoors or outdoors so you get your choice of where you want to sit. Ube pancakes looked really pretty and they tasted good too. It seemed like there was ube in the batter as well. I got classic french toast with banana added. It was pretty basic, and I had it with syrup. Chorizo burrito was spicier than I expected because of the jalapeños, but it was packed with filling. Tomatillo eggs with chicken was really good with the crispy tortilla, chicken and eggs together. We ordered a bunch of different dishes to share, and everything was good. Went back to Garcia Bros. so that my wife could give it a try, and managed to slide into a table just before the big rush of people arrived. Our server was quick and friendly, and kept checking on us despite having quite a few tables. We were seated outside, and the cafe atmosphere led to a nice conversation with the couple at the adjoining table. All nice. Food looked fantastic as always, but there was a tiny glitch this time. I think they forgot to make my wife's Crispy French Toast, because our order arrived after those at several tables who ordered after us. My breakfast sandwich (eggs, bacon and cheddar) was perfectly composed, but a little on the cool side, as were the hash browns -- it seemed as if the plate had been sitting for a bit. My wife's French Toast was picture perfect (see the photo), but very dry inside, as if they rushed to make it and didn't let the bread soak in the batter. The daily special Tiramisu French Toast (also pictured) was ordered by our neighbors, and they said the inside was moist -- that's why I think there was a glitch with our food. That said, this kind of slip-up can happen anywhere, and wouldn't dissuade either of us from coming back. It's a busy place with a very creative menu, and sometimes stuff happens. read more

From all the reviews and comments about this place, it was about time I tried it out. Mind you I've tried loads of time stopping by but the wait time, it was a turnoff. Menu wise, pretty much breakfast and lunch. I think they're known for their matcha pancakes as it seemed to be on every other table. I don't think there's alcohol as it wasn't on the menu. Started off with a glass of OJ and one of the smoothies. Noho smoothie with fresh strawberries, bananas, orange juice and mango puree. It was quite nice and refreshing. Meals, the meat lover omelette served with ham, pork sausage, bacon, eggs and cheddar cheese. That came with a side of fries or hash brown. And the breakfast quesadillas which was on the special. Basically the breakfast burrito but quesadillas. Accompanied by sour cream and pico de gallo. Waitress did mentioned if we would like some homemade salsa as well. Food was good, simple but tasty. Looking at all the sweet dishes, it was quite appetizing but I prefer something savory for breakfast. Finally was able to try this place out and it was nice. The wait time does get pretty long depending on when you come. They'll seat your group when everyone is there. Service was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal. Went to Garcia Bros Cafe for breakfast and there was a medium line when we arrived..about a 35-minute wait. We decided to stay because of all the good Yelp reviews, and they seated us around the 30-35 minute mark. Service once seated was good. What we ordered + thoughts: Pistachio Matcha Latte - The flavor itself was really good, but the powdered/ground pistachios made it grainy and hard to drink. It honestly made my throat tickle and cough. A smooth drink should be smooth, not gritty. I think if they strained it, it would be way better. Tiramisu Latte - This was good and not as sweet as I expected (which I liked). The cookie on top, though, was not good..kinda stale and more for looks than taste. Supreme Burrito (popular on Yelp) - Disappointing. Both me and my friend didn't like it. It lacked flavor, needed more cheese to hold it together, and was falling apart. Some sauce or salsa inside would've helped a lot..it was way too dry and bland. I would not order this again. Ube Pancake - The winner. Not overly sweet, came with berries and whipped cream, and I really enjoyed it. Overall, I wouldn't say it's worth a long wait, but I do want to come back to try other things like the chilaquiles and the matcha pancakes. Garcia Bros popped up in my Yelp recommendations so I invited my dad here for a Sunday morning breakfast. Man this place is POPULAR. We didn't have a reservation (tip: make one) and waited about 30 minutes for an outdoor table (heated lamps available!) I definitely think they are slightly short staffed as we had long finished our drinks (coffee and hot tea) before they came by asking if we wanted a refill, and then longer still with said refill. Overall though, I'd return. Pumpkin pancakes 5/5 oh I LOVED these! My friend had to check in with the host because people who came after us, were seated before us. The host told us our name was crossed out which i was interesting because we were waiting outside the entire time and no one called our name. Anyways, after waiting 30 minutes to be seated, we waited an additional 20 minutes for our food. The restaurant was pretty busy so i can understand why service is so slow. We got the matcha pancakes breakfast sandwich, and eggs Benedict. The breakfast sandwich was alright; your typical savory bacon and egg sandwich. The eggs benedict was a little bland and I wish the holandaise sauce had a bit more salt/flavor. The chorizo was good and had a nice little kick to it. However the hashbrowns were a little soggy and needed to be toasted a little more. The matcha pancakes was very tasty! It was very creamy and fluffy, and i like how it was not too sweet. You can actually taste the matcha in the cream and pancakes which isn't too strong, but it's still there! Overall, I would give this place another try, perhaps on a day when it isn't so busy. I've now been to Garcia Bros Cafe a few times and each visit has been a really positive experience. The place is on teh smaller side but it is clean, modern, and very well put together. Parking was never an issue for me and I have also never had trouble finding seating when I visited. The food has been consistently good every time I've come here. One of my favorites was the chorizo eggs benedict served with crispy hash browns. The poached eggs were cooked well and the chorizo added a lot of flavor. The hash browns had a nice golden crisp and made the plate fell hearty and satisfying. I also tried the avocado toast topped with poached eggs and served with hash browns. It was simple but very fresh and balanced, with creamy avocado and perfectly soft eggs. Another time I ordered the tuna wrap with sweet potato fries. The wrap was well filled and flavorful, and the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Each meal paired well with their house coffee, which I ordered every visit. The coffee was strong, smooth, and exactly what you want with breakfast or brunch. Overall this spot delivers a great casual breakfast and lunch experience. The food is flavorful, the portions are solid, and the service has always been welcoming and attentive. We had an appointment in the area and dropped in for 'brunch.' No wait, and we were seated inside. Indoor seating is limited, but there is some nice outdoor space, as well. In spite of being seated quickly and sitting with menus closed, it took a while for anyone to approach. This was exacerbated as I watched someone be seated at the table outside our window, he studied the menu and had ordered and received a coffee before we ever were approached and got to order. Servers were all hustling the entire time, but nobody was particularly warm. I wasn't looking to chat, or anything, but it just felt a bit detatched. Anyway, the food... We got a Breakfast Burrito and a Turkey Melt. Both were good, nothing extremely special, but good. Salsa for the Burrito was pretty tasty. They offer a very good cafe de' olla, and most of the other coffee drinks that were dropped at other tables looked very nice. I could tell that this cafe was loved and the ambiance was intimate but not uncomfortable. As for food I got the red velvet pancakes and crunch breakfast burrito and both were good! I preferred the pancakes over the burrito in the end because I think it's the pico de gallo that I just wasn't really feeling the flavor. But everything else in the burrito was delicious!
