    Crispy Chicken Wrap

Super buzzy and fun. Lots of little alcoves and nesting spaces. Outdoor, indoor. You choose. Now for the food. Had the burger- very delicious and came with a huge amount of french fries. Couldn't eat all and had to bring half home! My friend had the chicken Caesar and loved it (also had to bring half home). Our third guest enjoyed a very big cappuccino and a bacon avocado and cheese sandwich as well. Speedy service and sweet attitudes from everyone. Recommended.

In a charming part of the street, with nice stores and cafes, this restaurant is pure charm, dog friendly in patio dining, cool decorating. I went to see a play in the same sidewalk, after my husband and I went to chat with our friend there. The chai latte was delicious followed by my husband, and my turmeric, ginger tea was refreshing and not strong. Next time we will go for brunch. The service is efficient and nice. Reasonable prices for the area.

Aroma service and quality is much elevated since my last visit. I'm very happy with my breakfast quesadilla with grilled chicken. Everything tasted fresh and it was a huge portion cooked perfectly with a crisp flour tortilla and tender chicken pieces. Guac, salsa and sour cream on the side were perfect as well as the fresh fruit. Eating outside on the deck is lovely.

I love this place. Had breakfast post a morning hike and the presentation deserved a review. Check out the photos! That's the Avocado Toast on the menu for $16. Chef did a good job in garnishing. I eat with my eyes first!

Good healthy food options. No fuss quick service. Nice neighborhood. Very popular, long lines for ordering. Large sitting area that doesn't feel crowded or rushed. Ample street parking - though they say there is also a private lot at back .

Worth the wait. Every minute of it--as along as it's not curving around the block. The food is great and the service is friendly too. I guess it helps to be surrounded by sweet delights and wafts of sugar-filled cakes baking in the ovens. There's so much greenery, you'll feel your stress levels drop. And that's one of the key ingredients for a lazy Sunday. The only thing to stress me out this time is choosing from like twenty amazing menu options. After debating, nay agonizing, back and forth while waiting in line, I landed on the Huevos Rancheros. The golden crispy tortilla shells add a nice crunch and they're generous with avocado portions. As for the Matcha Latte, it's perfectly frothy. Next up: The Country Breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy & buttery. The cute strawberry banana garnish was like a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. Def recommend this dish just for the pancakes. One insider tip: Just remember to pack your patience if there's a line. Aroma always draws a crowd just about any time of day (or night). So come when you're feeling a little lazy or wanting to savor the moment with every bite.

Great food and vibes, but be ready to wait! I really loved this cafe! The interior is beautiful, the service is super fast, and the menu is incredibly diverse. A huge plus is that you can order breakfast even after 12 PM! The coffee was also absolutely delicious. The only downside is that you have to stand in line just to get inside, which is a bit annoying. But honestly, the experience was worth it))

Absolutely love coming here but to have the crunchy chicken wrap was beyond a dream come true cause it's spicy but it's mildly spicy and naturally I had to order the ranch dressing but this is a delicious treat while we're waiting for it so I'll be this place is popular in the ambulance is incredible but when I come back? I'll be doing it for the desserts lol

Came here for brunch on a Sunday, and I'm surprised I haven't tried this spot earlier! The restaurant itself is huge, there is so much more seating than it looks like there would be from the outside, with a beautiful patio in the front and the back of the restaurant. They have a breakfast and a lunch menu, both with tons of different options. Our server was amazing-- he was very quick, helpful, and attentive and overall his positive energy made our experience very enjoyable. Shout out to him! We got the Breakfast Quesadilla and Steak Eggs Benedict with a side of hashbrowns and garlic fries. Honestly, we were disappointed with the steak benedict and the quesadilla, but the hashbrowns and garlic fries were great. Even though our food wasn't perfect, I would 100% return for the beautiful ambiance and excellent service.

Aroma has never let me down! I have ordered here sooo many times to dine-in and do pick-up for casual eating, special occasions, and more. Rain, shine, and through busy times they consistently deliver with the best foods and sweet treats. Every time it is delicious. I love their burgers, sandwiches, and chicken wraps. I always get the curly fries on the side. With curly fries of course! Delicious. The outside patio is very cute. I love coming here with my family and it's our go-to spot. I bring my Pomeranian puppy to dine with us too. I end up meeting and becoming friends with other customers while we are waiting in line funnily! Good vibes!

I've been to Aroma many times during the day, but nighttime might actually be my fave! Had a cute coffee & tea date here. The Christmas decor was so cute and they had the fireplace going was such a lovely date night. Would love to come back and try actual lunch/dinner food. I've only had breakfast and that was okay. Not a great work spot due to the WiFi situation, but an excellent spot to come read a book or meet with a friend(s) & loved ones. I accidentally left my purse on the back of my chair and called first thing in the morning and they had it in lost and found for me. Shoutout to the people who work there

One of my favorite cafes in LA/The Valley for relaxing or doing a bit of work with some coffee and yummy, fresh food! You place your order at the counter, where there's usually a line, but it's kept moving at a decent pace. The service here is always super cheerful and friendly! After placing your order, you find a table somewhere and they'll bring it out to you. My go-to's here when it comes to food are usually salmon dishes such as the Grilled Salmon Salad or Grilled Salmon Sandwich - both are delightfully fresh and have a generous mix of toppings and ingredients. I especially love the delicious sauce they put in the Grilled Salmon Sandwich!! My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it - YUM!! For seating, there's plenty of tables both in front, inside, and in courtyard like spaces on the sides and in the back. Wherever you sit, it's always a very lovely and relaxing vibe. Aroma Coffee & Tea is one of the best cafes in The Valley - I highly recommend!

Writing this review live on Saturday 11/1/25 (even though I already wrote one a few months ago) but with 5 stars this time because of the super outstanding service I received (between 230pm and 330pm). I ordered my usual (Country Breakfast and hot lavender latte in a to-go cup) and sat down to do a bit of work while waiting for the food and drink (they don't have wifi by the way, I used my hot spot). Food came first and the gentleman (I didn't get his name, not too tall, rather slim figure) asked if I was waiting for anything else so I mentioned the latte. He then brought it to me in a mug (probably an oversight from the staff making the drinks) so I asked him if I could get it in a to-go cup. Totally not a problem, he went back to the kitchen and brought the latte in a cup. He stopped by after a few minutes and placed a fly fan on my table to keep the flies away (I think he saw I was using my hand every now and then to make them go away lol) and towards the end of my meal, he noticed I hadn't touched my pancakes. He asked if I wanted a to-go box. He did all this with a smile, gentle voice and such a warm demeanor, I didn't even have to lift a finger, he was on top of everything. This kind of service totally made my Saturday so thank you! :D

Aroma Coffee & Tea Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Aroma Coffee & Tea

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes, they do offer some gluten-free options.

    Do Aroma take dinner reservations?

    Nope... first come first serve

    Are you guys pet friendly?

    Yes, they are.

Are all the baked goods made in house or do they have a supplier for some?

    How is the parking?

Street parking with meters on the Main Street and 2-hour signs on others.

Do you need to rsvp ahead of time? Is it super busy on Saturdays for brunch?

Seating is on a first come, first served basis. They only accept reservations for parties of 6+. It gets fairly busy on the weekends so I recommend coming early to beat the crowds.

    Do they have wifi?

    No WIFI

Why do you guys close so early?

I can't confirm, but I expect it's 1. due to the time needed to COVID-level sanitize everywhere. 2. staff is overwhelmed with stress from people who still 13 months later…

Why aren't they at least doing carry-out now?. I understand they can't do indoor dining due to Covid, and I also understand if they don't want the hassle of outdoor dining. But why not carry-out?

    They always to carry-out.

Is the website available right now just to look at the menu?

It looks like the website does not have a menu. You can see pictures of the menu on Yelp. I recommend calling the restaurant to make sure the full menu is available for curbside pick up.

    Gluten free options?

Yes. A few baked goods. But most of the bakery goods are not. I don't remember if they have…

Do they have high chairs for kids?

    Yes

Do they have mimosas? Since it does say breakfast and brunch!!

I think they don't serve alcohol.

I know mornings are crazy here but is it busy in the evening? As far as getting a table etc...

This is the afternoon and it is hopping!😎😎

    Is there a parking lot?

No parking lot. Only street parking

Spoke with Alex no wifi or electrical outlets?

Correct, there's no WiFi or outlets to charge you electric needs.

    Is the facility dog friendly?

Yes. They have water bowls by the sidewalk and and you can have your dog outside.

Where do they get their cakes from?

When you find out, please share the info cause I'll go open up my own shop selling that amazing stuff!! Haha

How long does breakfast go for?

    Usually about 11/12

Until what time do they serve breakfast?

    All day

We went up to the front and let them know the name we placed the order under and off we went. My wife and I opted to try their Bacon & Sausage Burrito and Veggie Burrito. Both had a hefty weight to them and were delicious. What added to the deliciousness was their house-made salsa and crema. If you love heat, their salsa is on point! The people who work here: all kind and helpful and on top of their stuff. This place gets really packed sometimes but even in the chaos, when customers are rude and drunk and break things they keep their cool, always. But don't treat them poorly. I will come for you. Chard is the GM and he is one of the kindest and most generous humans I have had the pleasure of know and is the mastermind behind getting the themed nights up and going. His ability to make a person feel welcome is pretty much unmatched in my opinion. The food: omg you guys the FOOD!!!! It's so good. They just changed the menu so I haven't gotten to try everything yet but the chicken dumplings are delicious. A bit of a kick but the best kind. The chili cheese fries that my friend had were also so good. Perfect cheese to chili ratio with the fries. There is a chef in the back who is passionate about food and making sure it tastes perfect so I trust everything is good. But if you are unsure ask the servers or bartenders. They won't steer you wrong. The drinks: admittedly, I mostly drink just screwball on the rocks. However every mixed cocktail I have had here has been perfection. Mark is the manager and he could be a mixologist, should be a mixologist, super nice guy who is shockingly good and remembering peoples drink preferences. Like a year ago was the last time I ordered cider and he remembered! The vibe: I wouldn't really call this place a dive bar, but it's sort of got a hint of dive bar going on. The back patio is really nice during the summer but sitting inside the barrel is fun too. The bulldog is kinda small so you won't fit a ton of people in there but it's still fun. Lots of places to sit although sometimes it does get packed and it's standing room only. Not to mention, they allow dogs!!! This is a great place to come with a first date. It's good for dressing up a little but not too much and there are some corners you can sit in so you can have a little closeness. But the staff will also keep an eye out for you. If you are feeling uncomfortable in any way, they will keep an eye out for you and help you out. There isn't a designated dance floor but they won't be mad if you dance in the area that you've got available to you. Just don't accidentally knock anything over or hit anybody. The music: Chard is usually in charge of the play list but even when he isn't the music is usually pretty great and there's a band that comes and plays on Sundays for a while in the afternoon/evening. I have found some of my new favorite music because of this place. Drag brunch: I've never actually attended because I've heard it gets a little crazy and that can be a little scary overwhelming for me, but they do it everyday Saturday and Sunday and that's been going strong for a pretty long time so I have to assume it's a good time. The themed events: this is the kind of crazy I can handle though. They have done lots of the rings, zelda anniversary, a Star Wars themed singles event for Valentine's Day, a scholastic book fair, and Easter egg hunt, their Halloween and New Year's Eve events were AMAZING, I could go on and on. People turn up for these events and they are just some of the most fun especially with the costumes you will see. Go to Idle Hour. I've never loved a bar before. This place is something else. I promise you won't be disappointed, unless you're one of those kinds of people who finds something wrong no matter how amazing the place is or you're kind of an entitled jerk.

The fans made the patio comfortable, and the team initially came across much friendlier than during my previous visit. Unfortunately, the service once again lost momentum after my food arrived. I waited my entire meal for a simple straw for my water, but no one ever came back to the table. I had finished my espresso and actually wanted to order the Horchata Latte to enjoy with my meal, but I never had the opportunity because my server never checked back in to see how everything was or whether I needed anything else. What really stood out was that the busser came to clear my table before I had seen my server again. It wasn't until I was sitting there looking around that I finally spoke to another staff member and explained that I had been waiting for my server. I had wanted to order the Horchata Latte, but I never had the opportunity because no one checked back on me after my espresso was served. When it came time to pay, I shared my frustration with my server. She apologized and explained that she had gotten tied up inside. I understand that restaurants get busy, and I certainly don't expect perfection. However, by that point I had already finished my meal, missed the opportunity to order another drink, waited for a straw for my water that never came, and was still waiting to close out my tab. That's ultimately my biggest critique of EAT. The food is exceptional, the patio is fantastic, and this visit was noticeably warmer than my first. But hospitality is found in the little things checking back after food is served, making sure guests have what they need, and being present through the end of the meal. Those small moments are what turn a good dining experience into a memorable one. I'll continue coming back because I truly enjoy the food. I just hope that, over time, the service becomes as consistently excellent as the kitchen.

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

This is my fourth Granville and by far the best. First of all, I love the artwork. That is what convinced me to try this particular Granville when the first three were OK but nothing special. This one is. Second, the place is vast and beautifully decorated inside (see my pix). The temperature, the music (80s), the furnishings (brick, stone, glass, metal, wood -- all top quality), the plants, and the service were exceptional. Third, if you are up for it, there is valet parking even for weekend brunch. This is nice because the neighborhood is a little grungy and that saves stepping over the things on the sidewalks that should really be cleaned up by the city. Fourth, the menu keeps evolving. Everything we had there was for the first time. All of it was perfect. Beautifully plated, served at the right temperature, fresh and well seasoned, delicious. Dre, our server, was all smiles and so efficient, she seemed to float around. She made the experience lively and fun. This is a big space and yet, even on an off day at an off hour, people were streaming in the entire time we were there, almost filling it up. Whoever designed the place knew how to bring in just the right light so everything glowed and was brightly mysterious, iykwim? It was a perfect experience from start to finish. I am not sure I would try any other Granville when this one hit it out of the park!

******* DEFINITELY SIT OUTSIDE ********…read more This restaurant was suggested by a neighbor as a cute date night spot with good food and drinks. She was spot on! Sit on the patio to enjoy the full effect of the fairy lights, fireplace and cozy spaces meant for an intimate date. I had their Old Fashioned which was banana flavored for summer. The banana was a more subtle finish, not sweet, but I still prefer their peach version and wish it was also on the menu. The deviled eggs are just the right bite for drinks. We also had the flatbread and hummus, made with green garbanzo beans and served with watermelon radish and pita bread. TIP: if you like biscuits, order theirs! Put your order in right away because they're baked fresh for you and they take a while. With the honey butter, it's perfect! Service is consistently good! From the hostess stand to the bar, it doesn't matter where you are, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Servers read your vibe well and respond accordingly, providing excellent service for a date night or family/friends gathering.
