It was my first time here but my wife frequents this place with her coworkers. I'm so glad she recommended it. The food was great and it's my new favorite place in the area. Will have to introduce my coworkers to this place too! From the start, we had the warmest welcome from Paul who brought us to our table and took our drink orders and recommended some coffees to my wife. He also told us about the specials and showed us menu of special fall drinks (think pumpkin spice lattes) available now. All sounded delicious. Our drinks came a couple minutes later. So quick! After Paul, we got Rachel as our waitress - she was so sweet and welcoming. She was soooooo patient with us as we tried to figure out what to order. Now onto the yummy food! We split the entrees between my wife and I so we can try both plates. We ordered the following: Brisket Breakfast Burrito: Labeled as their "#1 Seller" and rightfully so! The brisket is cooked to perfection - tender, soft and moist. Simply delicious! It comes with scrambled eggs, slow-roasted brisket, sautéed onions/peppers, breakfast potatoes, 4 cheese mexican blend, house-made chipotle aioli and served with house-made salsa verde. It also came with a side of lime mint watermelon. It paired perfectly with the burrito! Lemon Ricotta Berry Bliss French Toast: A well-balanced dish and not overly sweet! It's made with brioche bread dipped in a cinnamon & vanilla egg batter and comes with fresh berries, a scoop of house-made lemon ricotta, drizzled with ghirardelli vanilla sauce, topped with powdered sugar, lemon zest, whipped cream and a side of pure maple syrup (upon request). Rachel kept checking in on us throughout our meal and asked if we needed anything. There was one point when she noticed I was running low on salsa verde for my breakfast burrito and she asked if I wanted more. I said yes, and she brought it right out. Now that's service! Rachel and Paul are amazing! When we went, they also decked the place out in a fall theme and had all the adorable decorations out. There's ample validated self-parking available in the back. If you go really early and the parking attendant isn't there to give you a ticket, the servers inside the restaurant will stamp a receipt for you that you give the attendant on the way out that you'll use as a validated ticket. Came to Red Maple for brunch because I wanted to try their signature lemon ricotta French toast, and it did not disappoint! The portion was huge, so I definitely had leftovers. The French toast was light, fluffy, and very cinnamony, topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries, ricotta in the center, whipped cream, syrup, and the cutest maple leaf-shaped butter. The lemon flavor was mild and paired really well with the warm cinnamon -- definitely giving fall vibes! We also wanted something savory, so we shared the traditional breakfast with over-easy eggs, breakfast potatoes, sourdough, and bacon. Amazing!!! Worth the wait! Definitely my favorite brunch place now! My friend and I have been brunching our way thru LA haha and this is probably the best brunch spot we have found so far! It gets crowded bc it's so delicious and the coffee art is so much fun! You scan a QR code and upload your pic for your latte :) Such an extensive menu and lots of boozy options if you're looking for a drink. Our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations too. I got the Fried Chicken Lemon Velvet Waffle which was SO good - literally tastes like lemon cupcakes yummmmmmm! And the fried chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork. There is a parking lot in the back which gives you 90 minutes free with validation and then $2 for each 15 min thereafter. If the lot is full, drive around and you may just luck out and someone is leaving so you can get a spot. This restaurant is located on the corner. I've passed it on many an occasion, driving down Riverside Drive, and decided to try it out after I saw the food photos posted on Yelp from other patrons. The host asked me where I wanted to sit. It was before the crowds hit. I saw a couple small booths, but he only offered me a small table or patio seating. I thought he meant the patio out front, but then walked me to the back, covered patio. After seeing it, I preferred it. They have a sound machine of birds chirping and faux butterflies on the walls so you feel like you're sitting in someone's garden patio. Red Maple offers custom art in your latte if you provide them with a picture. I just didn't feel like taking the time to do that today. I did not know this place existed. We came went in for breakfast this morning for my friend's birthday. The place was busy, especially for a weekday, but we were seated right away. It is small but is also cozy and big enough to accommodate a few parties at once. It is a restaurant but also diner style, as they have a bar that resembles an old-school diner and it serves both alcohol and coffee. Servers were amazing from the beginning; we were helped right away, our drinks came fast, and us being picky eaters were helped and accommodated to our requests for our food. I got the traditional breakfast and I don't like sautéed breakfast potatoes, so they fixed it how I like it for me. My friends had their own requests and were fixed up their way. We were constantly being checked on by multiple servers, not just ours, unlike most restaurants, which is a great experience compared to others. Food was great; my meal was basic but delicious. Red Mapel is an OK restaurant. And, I use that term OK very descriptively. It's certainly not bad, but it's also not great. It's just OK. At least in my opinion. In terms of their layout, they have their main dining area, which I considered to be a little impacted. The tables are very close to each other, and generally, even when the booths are open, the host doesn't sit couples there. They seemingly wait for larger groups. I understand that but occasionally they will sit couples in one of the booths like when I arrived this morning, there was a couple sitting in one of the booths. When we inquired about a table, there was a separate booth that was still available. But we were not offered to sit there.. So, I don't really know what the formula is? It seems to be non-descriptive. Meaning, a bit judgmental. The restaurant also has their forward patio. This is out in front of the restaurant, along Riverside Drive. If the sun's on the patio, this can be kind of trying. But, if you get there when the sun is off the patio, this may be your choice for a place to dine. They also have a rear enclosed patio area. This is a small area with just a few tables. But, you are protected from the sun and you do get some of the breeze blowing through. So, it may be a more enjoyable place to dine than the interior dining area. They also have some tables that line the street. As long as you're in the shade, this isn't a bad place to sit. But, you are going to get the cars starting up, parking, and things like that if you sit in this area. In terms of food, again, it's OK. Not great. Just OK. I guess it suits its purpose. This restaurant has a fairly large menu. So, you have a lot of choices to choose from. This is a very popular restaurant, so I guess many people take a different view of it than I do. Meaning, there's times when you will have to wait to get a table. So, if you're coming here midday keep that in mind. I tried the Vegan Egg & Cheese Breakfast Burrito with chorizo and loved that they also offer tofu, Beyond, vegan chick'n, and vegan steak options. I also tried the tofu skillet loaded with veggies, quinoa, black beans, corn tortillas, salsa, and a side salad. Nothing about the vegan menu felt like an afterthought. Located on a nice corner lot, there was a cute farmer's market right outside on a Sunday morning, perfect to browse before dining in. Very good experience, visiting for a festival, stopped in for lunch, the southwest wrap was fantastic and the mimosa flavors were top notch!

We had not been to this location since it was 'The Counter' and we regret that. This is such a better experience than the previous and we will definitely be coming back. Brian was wonderful at the front host desk with a smile and a positive attitude, even with the Sunday brunch crowd causing a 15-20 minute wait. We ordered the Single Smash Burger with Seasoned Fries and were not disappointed. Rachel, our waitress, was accommodating with all the requests, and the food came out exactly as it was ordered. Kudos. It was a busy Sunday, but the atmosphere was very casual and not overtly loud or noisy. Excellent with its accompaniments. I also ordered a side of applewood smoked bacon ($8), you get 4 pieces. Our server asked me if I wanted the bacon extra crispy and that was a definite yes. My lady got the breakfast quesadilla ($17.50) which comes with scrambled eggs, chili-lime bacon, 4-cheese Mexican blend & green onion aioli inside a spinach tortilla. This came with sour cream and green salsa on the side. It also came with breakfast potatoes. It was delicious. My best friend ordered the chilaquiles ($18.50) and we all kinda picked at that because she also ordered an ube triple stack of pancakes ($17.50) which again, we all shared and was really good. Breakfast burritos ($18.75) with brisket, papas con chorizo ($17) and fried chicken with lemon velvet waffle ($19.75) were also ordered. Everyone liked their entrees and various drinks... Red Maple has this app that you can upload photos to and those photos can then be printed on the foam top of your cappuccino or lattes. We had the server put my best friend's senior portrait on hers as a surprise because she arrived late. It made for great laughs. Our server was great and Red Maple was a great meal for us all. Came here around 1pm on a Saturday by myself and it was definitely loud and crowded, but I was seated surprisingly quickly which was nice. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and substituted the chili lime bacon for turkey bacon, which probably changes the intended flavor profile a bit, so keep that in mind. Overall though, the quesadilla itself was really good. The texture stood out immediately; creamy from the avocado and fluffy scrambled eggs, with everything tasting very clean and fresh. The spinach tortilla added a nice flavor too, although I do wish it had been a little warmer and toasted & crispy since parts of it were slightly soft and mushy. The peach iced tea was excellent. Organic and unsweetened, very refreshing. The breakfast potatoes were decent. They tasted fresh and had roasted sweet red peppers and onions mixed in, which made them a little more interesting than standard diner potatoes. Personally, though, I prefer breakfast potatoes with more crisp and crunch, and these leaned softer and more baked than crispy. They still tasted good overall and honestly probably felt a bit lighter because they weren't heavily fried. Overall, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Overall a solid experience with great food, but a couple of details worth mentioning. The food had was great, i had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was amazing, would definitely come back for it. Service was quick too, I wasn't waiting long to be seated, get drinks, or have my food come out, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A couple of things did stand out, though. There was a hair in one of my drinks, but to their credit, the staff handled it well and swapped it out for a new one right away, I appreciated that. The bigger issue was the ketchup bottle. The bottle and the ketchup itself looked clean, but the lid was noticeably dirty (black residue on the top). I left it open so the server could see it, and he almost closed it and walked off without noticing. I had to point it out before he picked up the plate. Just something I think the team should keep an eye on. I also felt a little rushed to leave once I mentioned I asked for the check, not a huge deal. We have lived in north hollywood and finally got to stop in at Red Maple for brunch. First off, the service is truly top notch. We came in at 11am on a Sunday (bold, I know.) BUT I did join the waitlist online right as we left for the drive over. I'm so glad we did, because as soon as we arrived, I got the notification that our table was ready! So I HIGHLY recommended joining the waitlist on their site before hand, especially for a weekend brunch. The vibe was so cozy inside. We came in during breast cancer awareness month, and they went all out with decorating for the cause. I loved it so much! I had the vegan breakfast burrito with tofu.
