We stopped by during brunch one day because I was craving breakfast and we must have came just the right time because there was not a lot of people, but shortly after we were seated people started coming in and they had to wait a bit for a table. We sat inside and I ordered a simple brunch with just 2 strips of bacon, 2 over medium eggs and waffles. The server asked me if I wanted a full size waffle or half size and as I was watching the other people order I noticed people were not hesitating to order the full size option and I thought dang, they are not gonna finish that, so I opted for the half serving which was 2 pretty good sized waffles. Once I took my 1st bite, I suddenly regretted only ordering the half size option. I instantly knew right then and there why people ordered the full size. A waffle is a waffle right guys? Wrong... not this waffle. This waffle will make you feel love inside that you didn't know existed. As we were walking inside the restaurant I actually was picking a fight with my husband for no apparent reason... possibly because I was hungry but after I took my first bite, I forgot about the argument haha. I told him he needs to bring me here ALL THE TIME. I am yet to come back a 2nd time and I already anticipate loving it the 2nd time. We drove by one day hoping to have a 2nd try here and it was really busy so we didn't make the stop. I look forward to coming back and the next time around I will not hesitate to order a full size waffle order. The staff was really nice, our server was this young lady who was waiting on all the tables inside and some outside was on top of it. Done Right! Light Waffles & Excellent Service Visited for the first time and had an amazing experience! We were immediately greeted upon arrival and told we could sit anywhere. Walked in yesterday super early in the morning 6:40AM to be exact and got a pleasant, warm greeting from Nathan. Told me to sit anywhere that I would like. Was meeting up with a friend. Shortly after, she walked in and we both had breakfast together. I have been to this lovely, well kept and maintained establishment at least 7 times in the past. 2nd time reviewing this place. We ordered a Veggie Omelette that came with: spinach, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, & asparagus. For cheese we opted for Swiss cheese free of charge. ($18.99), got a side order of fruit ($5.99), an order of English Muffin(toasted) ($2.99), and a large Orange Juice for ($5.49). Total came out to be $30.70 including tax, minus his tip. Both guys Nathan and Benny were very helpful, attentive and nice. Food was very hot, DELICIOUS and prices were affordable for their portions. Nathan didn't charge me for the OJ, because he forgot to bring me my whipped cream that came with a side of half Waffle, that actually looked more like a full Waffle. We both stayed with water. They have pretty extensive menu options from breakfast, salads, wraps, and sandwiches. All types of beverages. Hot and cold. Business of operation is consistent, which I LOVE!! Gender neutral restroom, a nice patio on both sides of the restaurant, and about 8 to 10 spots of parking spaces behind the restaurant. Restroom was also clean and fully stocked with all the essentials. Nice artwork on the walls. You can also find street or meter parking. They have 2 or 3 other locations. They did a little touch up here and there that was very noticeable. This is a great breakfast/lunch spot to indulge yourself. I wanted to eat more, but one can only eat so much. My family and I decided to stop at & Waffles for breakfast. We took a rideshare there. When we got there we walked in and were greeted right away by a friendly person that told us to pick where we wanted to sit. The restaurant is nice and bright with seating inside and outside. They have a small coffee bar in the restaurant. After sitting we were greeted by a friendly waitress. She gave us menus and some time to look things over. She returned and took our drink order and our food order. After waiting for about 15 minutes we got our food. I tried my husband's waffles with strawberries. The waffles were light and fluffy and a nice semisweet addition to our meal. He also got the Classic Skillet which comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, and home fries. I tried this as well and liked the taste and mixed textures from all of the ingredients. For my meal I ordered the Eggs Benedict with holindaise sauce on the side. My meal came with ham and two poached eggs on an English muffin. It had a side of hash browns and I ordered some bacon as an extra. The Eggs Benedict was really good. I love the poached eggs on the thick pieces of ham. The hash browns were slightly salty and crispy. The bacon was thick and flavorful. Been years since I've been back to &Waffles. My kid is now 12yo and he LOVES WAFFLES. Since we were up early on a Monday morning, this was the perfect spot! Once inside we were quickly greeted. I've always enjoyed the waffles here, but today's visit and service left me disappointed. There were only three tables. I was seated after a short wait and my order was taken promptly. When my food came out, the server put the plates down and walked away to help a delivery driver without asking if I needed anything else or even giving me a chance to ask. I waited, hoping someone would check in. The server helped the doordasher worker and then got to watching TV or cleaning the espresso machine. The server came over to cash a table out, so i didnt want to bother him. As he was leaving he finally acknowledged me and asked id I needed anything before I could answer he said ok great and left. I had to walk up to the counter to get or ask for basic syrup or hot sauce. When I asked another server for the materials he came behind my back and said "I could have gotten that" I rushed through my meal, as i didnt like the vibes at this point. I walked up to the counter to pay, as i wanted to just leave ASAP. So i told the server, that i just wanted to clarify how thinhs happened. When I eventually explained that I hadn't been given a chance to request anything, instead of just acknowledging that, he insisted that he had and his response was, "I'm sorry you feel that way". That came across as dismissive, not understanding. I wasn't trying to argue, just to clarify what had happened. It left me feeling unheard. Great experience today meeting with friends for brunch! For reference, we went on a Saturday at 11am and there was no wait for a table of 4! I was very surprised because it was a nice day outside and one would expect it to be crowded. There was also tons of parking around (both metered and street).
