This place has it all, but we stopped by for brunch. They do have a huge lunch menu, though, if that's what you're looking for. There was a bit of a wait outside, but we probably only waited about 20 minutes. Once seated, we ordered chorizo burrito but plate style, waffle churro style, and onion rings. Everything we had was delicious! The churro waffle was delicious, didn't even need syrup. The chorizo burrito was the perfect savory dish to pair with the waffle. And the onion rings were cooked perfectly. No frills restaurant, service is quick and staff is really friendly. Seemed to have plenty of street parking, but not sure if we just got lucky. If you're a waffle person... this place is dangerous. The waffle selection is actually crazy--in the best way. I tried the green matcha waffles and they did not disappoint. Super flavorful, not too sweet, and just a really unique option you don't see everywhere. Also love that you can order a half portion if you don't want to go all in (but you probably will next time). Our search for the perfect brunch place to replace All Day Baby (RIP) continues. Since waffles is an integral part of the formula, a place called & Waffles seemed like a shoe-in. I had a late breakfast at & Waffles with my family, and we were blown away! My sister summed it up perfectly: "& Waffles has the best-tasting pancakes and waffles I've ever had." She wasn't exaggerating--everything we ordered was fresh, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. They've got TVs playing sports, great music in the background, and a chill, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. A special shoutout to the manager--he was super fun and energetic. Delicious! We were celebrating my son-in-laws LB marathon run today! He was very hungry after running 3 hours! Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. The wait was only 15 minutes, not bad. Great experience today meeting with friends for brunch! For reference, we went on a Saturday at 11am and there was no wait for a table of 4! I was very surprised because it was a nice day outside and one would expect it to be crowded. There was also tons of parking around (both metered and street). My friend was lucky to find a spot in the small lot they have. The service was fantastic - I particularly want to highlight Nate who was our server. He was so attentive and friendly. I would rate it a generally above average for a chicken and waffles focused brunch spot with solid coffee with one huge caveat that I have noticed in general around the Toluca Lake/San Fernando Valley neighborhood - Chicken and Waffles is the breast fillet only! I was super sad to get fried breast fillets when I saw others get a platter of fried chicken wings with leg meat on it too. It is a separate option here and it was labeled Wings and Waffles. I won't fault the place too hard for that as this happens at other brunch places with chicken and waffles in the area, and I should have read the menu more thoroughly but this is just a fair warning to people like myself who are used to getting half a chicken (thighs, legs, wings, and a breast) for an order of chicken and waffles. read more
