Came here for lunch with a friend with a reservation, we were seated right away and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant feels a little modern rustic with plants and modern decor. It's very bright, tall ceilings, large atmosphere. I had a hot English breakfast tea to drink, they brought out loose leaf tea in a beautiful steeping pot that allows for multiple refills. For lunch I had the Ahi Poke Bowl and sweet potato fries. The dipping sauces (blue cheese sauce specifically) with the fries are delicious. The poke bowl has a slaw and spicy noodles with these crunchy coconut crisps on the top that are such a great flavor add to this dish. It's a fresh new take on a poke bowl and I really enjoyed it! Highly recommend this place!
I love everything about Granville!!! Each location has proven to be equally fabulous on all levels. Service is literally always outstanding. Our server today was Davis C. 10/10 for service! Thank you Davis for recommending the Pasta Alla Vodka!!! We ordered the Pasta Alla Vodka and a Poke bowl with no red onions. Both dishes were fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Lovely interior and they also have an outdoor patio which is pet friendly. I love that they take lunch reservations too!
Great gastronomic experience! The Poke bowl is like a Hawaiian- Chinese fusion because instead of rice they use noddles. And the tangy-sweet taste was something new and yummy. The avocado coast was by far the best according to my lady. She doesn't usually go for Mexican food but after eating Taco Trio she became a convert. The ambiance was busy on a Sunday morning but our orders came without us even noticing the time. The reception lady was spot on when she recommended The Poke bowl and avocado toast! Parking in Studio City is always a challenge but found a public parking for 10 bucks til 11pm. Just two blocks away from Granville - it was sweet deal.
Add brunch here on a lovely Sunday, mother's Day. The wagyu Barilla tacos and consomme were spectacular. We also had a blue cheese and bacon burger with a side of fries, also, always very good. Our server, Kayla, was very good, and made our meal even better. Glad we were able to get a table quickly, on the outside, as we hit our two puppies with us. A delightful meal
Popped in during Dine LA and took advantage of their specially curated menu. Lovely interior and airy atmosphere. Appetizers and main courses are on the larger size, so sharing is certainly an option. The housemate lemonade was bright and flavorful. Mac and cheese was solid. The grilled mushrooms were fantastic - a nice variety and perfectly grilled. The lemon wedge elevated the dish nicely. The Granville salad was average; The grilled salmon we added was a large piece and well grilled. The poke bowl was delicious with a terrific variety of components making each bite flavorful. We didn't care for the cherry ice cream and the chocolate cake was okay; the whipped topping elevated it.
Located in Sherman Oaks... so street parking can be a challenge. We lucked out with a short walk parking in the residential area. We had reservations so getting in for lunch was no problem. The restaurant is fairly busy for a weekday, so I'd recommend making reservations. We chose to dine indoors, which nice and bright. We ordered butter lettuce cups and tres tacos for appetizers. Both very tasty. For our lunch, I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and my SIL ordered the trout plate. All in all food and service was excellent.
Granville is a good place to get an enjoyable meal in a casual, energetic atmosphere with friendly servers and an eclectic menu that can be adapted for folks with any number of dietary restrictions, from allergies to being vegan. It's a testament to their desire for wide appeal that they have made sure so many items can be customized, and it makes this restaurant a no-brainer if your party includes anyone with these needs. We chose to sit at the bar rather than to wait for a table on a busy Friday night, and so I can't complain that our bartender was too swamped to give us the same kind of attention as a regular server. He was, though, as friendly as could be when he was able to focus on us, and everything we received was exactly as requested, so he was definitely listening. My wife ordered a Riesling that she enjoyed quite a bit, and I had a gin martini that was very properly made. Great work. We started with an order of their Artisanal Bread, which is brushed with garlic & oil, gently grilled, and served with duck fat butter. Really tasty, and I especially appreciated that this had a mild sourdough flavor rather than the usual strong, acidic bite -- it's much more enjoyable, and the duck fat butter played very nicely off the garlic & oil already grilled into the bread. For dinner, my wife ordered her favorite thing on the menu: Grilled Salmon, which is served resting on mashed potatoes, topped with creamed corn and a Cajun red pepper sauce. The fish was beautifully cooked and had a light, buttery taste. I'm not a creamed corn guy, so I didn't sample that, but my wife loves it. For my part, I ordered the grilled Rainbow Trout, which is crusted with Pepitas and served with a light butter sauce. This was also very nicely prepared, the fish itself being very flavorful, and the crunchy crust adding a nice, nutty taste in the background. I opted for mashed potatoes instead of the veggies, and i found them a tad bland -- I added some of the butter from the bread and salt, and that perked them up. I'm sure we'll be back before too long to try something else -- although my wife may not be distracted from her love for the salmon.
The food here is fantastic! They always have great specials, dine LA is a good one! They have a nice variety on their menu, there is something for everyone! Over the years I've tried my way through the menu and enjoyed all of it. The drinks are also delicious! Portions and prices are fair, the quality and presentation is always good! Nice option if you are looking for a light and healthy lunch or dinner in the area!
We discovered this bar in early February when we came for the first time before our anniversary dinner reservations somewhere else. The drinks are fantastic and the service is always quick and on point! This is now our third time here and we love how Jackson, Robbie, and Steve take good care of us! Happy hour is great it's from 3-6pm and the selection is delicious! Ambiance is open air and we prefer to sit at the bar. This is one of our new fave spots!
Granville is always consistent and always a good time. This location is super fun and has beautiful ambiance. My friend and I stopped in for brunch and were quickly seated. We both opted for their mint matcha (which was their only matcha option- hopefully they expand their selection soon!). I went with the Shakshuka and my friend had the breakfast sandwich. The Shakshuka was delicious and the grilled bread that accompanied it was absolutely perfect. Prices are fair and the restrooms are clean. Service was average.
We were in the area and met up with some family who live near Granville and who suggested we have dinner there. Overall, it worked well for us. Here is what we noticed - Metered street parking out front. - Good drink menu... Would've liked to try one of the fancy cocktails, but we all opted for a glass of wine instead. Unfortunately the red wines were served a bit too warm. - The menu is pretty broad, with both larger entrées and burgers and salads too. Between the four of us, we split the brussels sprouts and the hummus... The hummus was especially good with a mixture of pita bread and cucumbers for dipping. - My wife and I split both the Bacon and Blue burger and the Poblano Quinoa. Our server offered to have the burger split in half which was nice, but the burger was a bit dry inside, even though we asked for it to be cooked medium rare. And it took our server a long time to remember to bring the mustard I requested. The quinoa dish was quite good though. - The vibe inside is nice, but it was very loud, especially when the windows are open to the outside given the street noise. - Aside from the mustard issue, service was pretty good although our server got sort of busy at the end and it took a while for us to get our checks. Bottom line: Granville worked for what we needed, but it isn't a place that I'd want to get back to you anytime soon.

The Classic Cheeseburger (wagyu beef) with white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, red onion and secret sauce, on a sesame seed bun, is PERFECTION!!!!! Great ambiance! Great outdoor bar seating and outdoor seating area. Fantastic service! Can't wait to try the desserts next time!! read more

My go to place for small bites and delicious drinks! I love sitting at the bar at Granville because the service is quick and impeccable. I always have either the grilled cheese dippers, butter lettuce cups, or the yummy taco trio. Drink menu is extensive and their bartenders are always there to recommend something amazing. Everything is so good, every TIME. Nice and clean public bathrooms and parking is on the street but you can easily find it. read more

Came here again for HH. Sat at the bar and ordered the regular burger from the regular menu - a little slider came out and I asked the bartender "is this the size of the regular burger" and he said no. I said - oh I ordered the reg And he said oh I didn't hear that sorry. And just walked away. It was okay, but I was starving. And I don't get it cause it's like the same price lmao. But other than that - clean space, everyone else was friendly and food was cool. We also got the Brussel sprouts and it was good but too much sauce if that makes sense? Like too much vinegar/zest? Location 4: On busy Ventura Blvd in Studio City. Street parking can be hard to come by. Other options are paid Valet and parking structures nearby. Venue 4: Modern, nicely decorated restaurant with patio and indoor seating and a large bar area. A trendy and happening place to meet up with people over food and drinks, relax and have some fun! Service 4: Our server was polite. courteous and friendly. Drinks 4: Large list of specialty drinks as well as a full bar with a vast selection of craft spirits (bourbon, whiskey, gin, vodka, tequila, mezcal, rum, etc.), soft drinks and coffee. We had the Gran Fashioned (their signature Old Fashioned) and the Penicillin (Scotch, Lemon Juice, Ginger and Honey with a mist of Islay Scotch). Both were excellent and highly recommended. Food 4: Nice assortment of modern American food. Small and large plates. We started with the Brussels Sprouts and Grilled Mushrooms as appetizers. Both were great. We then had the Little Gem Caesar Salad, Black and Blue Burger, Spicy Half Chicken, and the Wagyu Beef Stroganoff, and can recommend all of them. We were too full for dessert but will definitely do it the next time. The Last Word 4: A solid option for a night on the town. I will be back! read more
This place is so lovely! The restaurant is beautiful, you have the option of patio seating, indoor and bar. I've been here three times now and everytime the service is amazing. We aren't from the area so we especially love the fresh food options and farm to table menu they offer. They have a variety of dishes and plenty of cocktail drinks to choose from. Perfect for a date night or catching up with friends! They have a different menu for lunch and dinner but I enjoy both menus! read more
Oh, ain't life grand, especially when you spend it with good friends. I met up with my bestie here over the holidays for lunch and some much-needed girl time. This is the third location that I have been to and its quite charming. The décor is warm & welcoming and the bar is lovely. Upon arrival we received a friendly greeting from the hostess. Our server Mikey was an absolute delight and very attentive during our entire visit. We started with a round of drinks before we proceeded to spill the tea. A California Love for me, and a Blackberry Basil Bramble for my BFF. Comprised of gin, melon, cucumber, mint & citrus, the California Love was a tasty refresher. Tupac would approve. The Blackberry Bramble was nicely balanced. Not to tart and not too sweet. We shared the Artisan Grilled Cheese Dipper & Sweet Potato Fries. The sweet potato fries were perfect! Slightly crisp on the edges, soft in the center, with a sprinkling of salt. The Artisan Grilled Cheese Dipper contained a combination of Petit Basque, Gruyere, & Parmesan cheese with caramelized onions & garlic aioli. It also came with a side of yummy tomato bisque to dip it in. The sandwich was quite tasty. However, I wish it had more cheese as the caramelized onions were prominent. I've always enjoyed coming here for lunch, which is why I chose it for my sister's birthday dinner. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to past visits. We had a reservation for 13 made over a month in advance, but our tables couldn't be arranged together, which made the celebration feel disconnected. Service was also frustrating, it took me about 30 minutes just trying to order one cocktail, and I was told I had to go through our server even after attempting to buy a drink at the bar. Our server was nice but lacked personality and wasn't very engaging. I ordered the beef stroganoff,great presentation and nice umami flavor, but I wouldn't order it again. I'll still come back for lunch, but I wouldn't recommend it for large group dinners or special occasions. read more

My server Kevin was sweet and very attentive the whole time. I love the interior design of the place allowing much natural light to shine through the restaurant. This was my second time eating at Granville and once again, thank you it was delicious. The place is happening so you better make a reservation. Parking can be a pain but they do have valet service and there is a parking garage not too far from there. They have a variety of food options and on the weekend they have a brunch menu too with even more yummy choices. My wife and I kept it pretty light with soup and avocado toast where my son had a burger with fries and my daughter had salmon on mashed potatoes. Everybody loved the food. The service was great and the decor of the restaurant is very nice and welcoming too. Overall a great restaurant to visit when i. The Studio City area. read more

Still a reliably good restaurant to go to with lots of options! Something for everyone. I came by for dinner with a friend. I admittedly had a bit of a wonky entry experience because we had made a reservation and upon getting to the restaurant, the hostess said I'd need to wait about 10 minutes. After standing and waiting off to the side for a few minutes, a small party of 3 came saying they had no reservation and she immediately sat them. I was so confused why I had to wait and they didn't and found that bizarre and rude. I mentioned this to her and she said my table is inside whereas she could seat them outside right away. Next time, I think the hostess should communicate those options to the guest when they have a reservation, otherwise it looks really rude for guests with reservations to have to wait when seating walk-ins right away. We ended up sitting outside and not waiting. For an appetizer, it sounds simple and "why would I pay for bread and butter" but my god, the bread and butter is delicious. The bread alone is deliciously grilled and toasted. It comes with a side of whipped butter and flaky salt. I'll dream about this for days. Simple but so good. For my main, I got the village burger on lettuce. It comes with chips. The chips were okay, some were quite stale. The burger was decent but nothing to write home about. It's funny because they ask if you're okay with all the toppings and condiments but I don't think any of them were on the burger itself, all of the condiments were off to the side. Still a great spot to come to, a little irked by the hostess experience but otherwise good service. read more

The chicken skillet at Granville did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender on the inside with a beautiful crispy skin outside and so much flavor. The sauce brought everything together without overpowering the dish, and the sautéed bokchoi and mushrooms underneath added the perfect balance. I loved that it came out in cast iron skillet. I wish it was sizzling. Portion size was okay for the price, it was well-seasoned, and comforting without feeling too heavy. Definitely a dish I'd order again! read more
Loved the interiors, the atmosphere, the service and the food. I really enjoyed the food, loved their interesting flavors. If you don't like ginger then you might not enjoy it as much as I did. I was very happy to see that they had many vegan options, and some other dishes could be veganized too. We ordered the brussel sprouts, lettuce cups, grilled mushrooms, poblano quinoa and chilaquiles. We ordered drinks too and one of them was the green juice. Would definitely visit again! read more
Thanks to DINE LA for introducing me to Granville! The staff were friendly and my waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious with great presentation! I ordered the Bacon and Blue burger which came with a big wagyu patty, caramelized onions, thick candied bacon, blue cheese, mushrooms, arugula, and horseradish aioli on a fresh brioche bun....oh my God was this tasty! I didn't want my burger to end . I upgraded to the side salad which was fresh and paired great with my burger. The salad consisted of Persian cucumbers, feta, Kalamata olives , red onion, tomato, mint, lemon-oregano vinaigrette and was delicious. For desert I ordered the Devil's Advocate flourless Chocolate Cake and was impressed as I did not know what to expect. The place was packed with friends and families all having a good time. Granville in Studio City is one of my favorite brunch/lunch spots in LA. I've been a few times and still think about some of the things I've had there. The Village Burger is solid, juicy and flavorful. but the real standout for me was the Hummus Pita Sandwich. It's honestly to die for, and I still crave it all the time. Their sweet potato fries might be the best I've ever had, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and addictive. The cocktails are excellent, and they also offer bottled wine, which is a nice touch. It's definitely not a breakfast place, think more brunch or lunch, though they did a seasonal fall pancake back in 2024 that I still dream about. I'm already looking forward to what they bring for the fall menu this year. I haven't tried their dinner yet, but it's high on my list. If you're in the Studio City area, Granville is definitely worth a visit. read more

The Heavenly Pancakes were tasty but felt like they were missing a little something. The steak and eggs portion was on the smaller side, but the side of potatoes was delicious. The shakshuka was definitely the standout dish of the morning. Parking in the area is definitely a challenge. Our server checked on us maybe twice, which was surprising considering it wasn't busy. It was also my birthday brunch, and unfortunately it wasn't acknowledged at all, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was a little underwhelming, but I did like how everything tasted clean and natural. I'm not sure I'd return, but I'm glad I got to try it. back though. read more

Granville is a solid restaurant option if you are in the valley and craving American cuisine. I also think they have a pretty solid menu to accommodate many different dining preferences as they focus on healthier American main dishes, have gluten free / allergy sensitive options, and also have less sugar brands of colas and such. A thoughtful menu. Our experience overall was very good and we wandered in for a super late lunch on a weekday. We appreciate that this restaurant is open all day long (no mid day closing shift). Valet next to the restaurant was perfect, especially with the rainy day. The exterior and interior of Granville is 5 stars. It's a beautiful restaurant. Very cozy and giving European feels - very well decorated and the tables/booths were cozy. Clean restrooms and a cute bar, this place is definitely inviting and nice all around. Our service was also really good. I am so so sorry that I don't remember our waiters name but he was attentive and polite. It was busy despite it being a weekday late lunch, but he did his best to hustle for us and get everything out for us as we requested it. Appreciated that the little things like water refills and clearing plates didn't go missed. Great service here. Prices are average in my opinion. Lunch is likely going to cost you about $30 a person if you go for a burger, salad or sandwich with some sides. Add another $12-15 if you do a cocktail. My cocktail was 5/5. I had the California love which is a gin based cocktail. Hints of melon, cucumber and citrus it was a super refreshing cocktail and everyone liked it that tried it. I'd get it again. For a simple cocktail I appreciated that they elevated it with edible flower petals on top. A cute drink. For my main I had the village burger (add cheese) with a side Cesar salad. A solid 4/5. The burger was wagyu beef and was cooked correctly. I just found the burger to be average. Hit the spot but I wouldn't race back to get it. I did absolutely love their side Cesar salad though, super well dressed and fresh lettuce, for a simple side it was super tasty. Overall Granville is a great spot in the valley if you are looking for a light lunch or a spot for some well crafted cocktails. We went with a larger group and it was well liked by everyone which is always solid feedback when accommodating many preferences and backgrounds. Thanks Granville for a solid lunch. read more

Hello. From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. we serve brunch only. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. our entire menu is available, this includes brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Yes they have gluten-free options. The Granville salad is very good and you can add your choice of protein. Also the grilled salmon is delicious. So are the fries
