Stopped by and ordered a hot Peanut cream top with whole milk. Angelo, the employee at the register was very welcoming and helpful. As usual, the Peanut cream top got my day started on an upbeat note. Place was clean, well maintained, and had an upbeat vibe. Perfect for a morning start. Thank you!
You think you've tried every coffee shop in LA... until you find Re:Coffee. Their drinks are on another level. The Hojicha Einspanner with housemade cream is rich, smooth, and absolutely worth the hype. The Blueberry Espresso Tonic with single-origin Ethiopian espresso is bright, refreshing, and surprisingly balanced. If you love pistachio, don't miss the Iced Pistachio Latte. And the pastries? The Crème Brûlée Brioche Bun and Raspberry New York Croissant are the perfect sweet finish. This is definitely a spot you'll want to come back to.
What more can I say? The line out the door at almost any time of day already says so much about this place. I've been to South Korea, where I've had some of the best coffee of my life, so my standards are pretty high. Re Coffee absolutely hits the spot. Their coffee is strong without being bitter, creamy without overpowering the coffee flavor, and perfectly balanced. Every sip reminds me why I keep coming back. Beyond the coffee, the shop has a warm neighborhood coffee shop vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff are always friendly and keep things moving despite how busy the shop gets. As for parking, there are a few spots in the back, and you can usually find street parking along Reseda as well. There are plenty of coffee shops around, but Re Coffee stands out for consistently delivering a great cup of coffee. The constant line isn't hype--it's well deserved.

They have a small and limited parking lot behind the coffee shop as well as some street parking open on Reseda and Dearborn. There's a Trader Joe's and Chili's across the street with more parking as well and I have parked behind Dave's Hot Chicken and the Habit and there is always space there. Ambiance: This coffee shop is quaint and feels a little cramped when you finally get inside and through the line. There is a counter top with some chairs as well as one couch and desk where one can study although, I personally never would. It's clean and bright with a minimalistic vibe inside. With it being cramped, you basically just get in, order, and get out. It's rare to find seating inside and it can feel overwhelming just sitting there trying to enjoy your drink with so many people around. Drinks: We've been there multiple times and you can always expect the same- mid, slightly overpriced, oh- getting some post purchase clarity. But it's the type of slightly regretful decision we continue to make every time. We've gotten the matcha einspanner on several occasions, vanilla iced latte, caramel latte, and the most disgusting Americano known to man. Whether you get the dark or light roast Americano, you will not run away from the burnt and bitter flavor. Service: The line moves quickly, they take your order and get you in and out without a long wait. They also offer stamp cards, buy 10 get the 11th free. What a steal! Gimme 10 more! Overall: All this to say, it's oddly grown to be a valley staple, and represents some bordering LA values- overpriced, overhyped, but for some reason addicting in the fact you always seem to go back. I would say 3.5 but it doesn't allow it, so I'm feeling generous today.
Stopped by Re Coffee and really enjoyed it! It's a cozy coffee shop with limited seating, but the drinks definitely made it worth the visit. I ordered the Pistachio Matcha, and the pistachio cream on top was so delicious. It added the perfect amount of creaminess. I also tried the Grapefruit Sparkling Ade and the Berry Mojito Lemonade, and both were pretty good. Although I preferred the sparkling ade more. If you're a matcha fan, the Pistachio Matcha is a must try especially with pistachio milk. It's also located conveniently near Cal State Northridge so it's perfect for college students!
A buddy of mine showed me this spot and it was really good! I tried the Pistachio Cream Top and Lavender Matcha. Both of these drinks had great matcha flavor. Re Coffee definitely focuses more on the matcha than the sweetness which I appreciate. The cream top for the Pistachio Cream Top was perfect and smooth. The lavender in the Lavender Matcha was prominent yet still allowed the matcha to stand out. The service was great. Orders were taken fast and drinks came out in a timely manner. Drinks were made with care; presentation alone speaks for itself. Ambiance was nice! Indoor seating with a modern/ clean coffee shop vibe. Overall , would come back again and try more of their drinks!
My favorite coffee shop in the Valley! Drinks: - Peanut Cream Top: my favorite since finding peanut butter items is difficult. The peanut cream has a deliciously strong peanut butter flavor. Been back several times in the past year, including during the holidays, and their seasonal holiday drinks are delicious. I don't know what the calory count is but calories don't count during the holidays, right? Their EINSPANNER is super delicious. That dollop of cream on top is insanely good!!!! I don't always order sweetened espresso drinks, but when I do, it's Re's Einspanner! I think they use the same cream topper for their MATCHA which is also super delicious. Dude, the line to order does NOT go down. It goes fast but with the constant influx of customers, the line doesn't actually shorten. They use their own beans now too and they use DARK ROAST. They no longer use Canyon Coffee. Though the space is small, it instantly relaxes me. There is a free parking lot behind the shop accessible via the alley. Street parking is available on the streets surrounding too if you can find one.
So delicious and I understand why there's always a line. When I went in it was later in the afternoon so there was no wait. The place is a little small and not a lot of seating and parking is shared in the back. But honestly the coffee and customer service makes up for it. Definitely will be coming back again.
One of the best matcha and hojicha I've had so far! Perfectly creamy, with a good balance of sweet. We waited around 20 minutes to order, there was quite a long line. Parking was easy to find, they have a lot and there are several surrounding free parking lots. The cafe inside was clean and well designed with several tables - by the time we got out drinks, a table had cleared up and we sat down. We ordered the matcha einspanner and the hojicha einspanner. The matcha was high quality, very rich and strong. The cream added a nice sweetness, but it wasn't overall sweet or bitter either. I love hojicha and always recommend it as an alternative to matcha or coffee at cafes. The hojicha here was chocolatey and smooth, absolutely amazing! Very well balanced and well made drinks - and they are absolutely photogenic as well ;) Highly recommend!
Two of us ordered: matcha tea $6.50 matcha einspanner $8 oat milk extra $0.75 Drinks were on the pricier side but the tea was good and smooth. Tough parking lot in the back. Some street parking available. Usually, there are some crazy long lines here, so luckily didn't have any issues.
Surprised I haven't reviewed this golden spot yet but the drinks here are always well-crafted and worth it if you see the line short! Lol. The matcha here satisfies one's craving and they use ceremonial top grade matcha. They also offer their drinks in regular, almond, or oat milk ($.75 more) which is always a plus. Unfortunately I did see prices go up a dollar from a $6 matcha latte to $7 now compared to last year but it's definitely not breaking your bank if you get this and it's definitely worth it as it's a great blend of matcha/milk. PSA: On busy weekdays, I've noticed a parking guy in the back lot ensure that people can't park at the Habit lot and walk over! Just something to note so make sure to park at the correct lot right behind the cafe/UPS location. It's a small lot also but this spot is more of an in/out situation. Wouldn't recommend studying here since it's loud and super busy but some still do with headphones
I finally get the hype around this coffee--especially that cream top! I tried the caramel crème top, pistachio matcha, and their einslatte, and everything was delicious and full of flavor. The pistachio matcha really stood out; it tastes like creamy ice cream. The caramel crème top was just as good and super fun to drink. I also love that you can customize the sweetness of your drink. They have an amazing selection of pastries too. I tried the Dubai croissant, and it was absolutely divine. On top of that, the service was excellent--the staff were very friendly, made great recommendations, and explained everything clearly to us.

Genuinely maybe some of the best matcha and coffee I've had. The matcha einspanner and mocha cream top were presented so beautifully and tasted so. Bill was $15. There was a line out the door but once you actually get to order, the employees work fast. We snagged street parking but they have spaces around the back as well. The pastry case did look a bit disorganized/unlabeled so could use some work. Simple decor and lots of seating. read more

First time reviewer, not first time visitor. Re: Coffee is probably one of the best coffee options near CSUN, and the lines usually being out the door are testament to that. It was later in the day, very hot out, and I was thirsty. Saw that Re: Coffee was still open, near Trader Joe's (which I needed to visit) and feeling indulgent went in. It was kind of late in the day for caffeine, so I looked at the menu and the Grapefruit Sparkling Ade caught my eye - I have a fondness for grapefruit at times. The barista warned me it might be on the bitter side, but that didn't scare me so I went ahead and ordered it. It wasn't that bitter at all, very refreshing. So if you are looking for something fruity and sparkling here, try this drink! The space is very small, so if you are looking for a place to work, you might need to look elsewhere though. read more

This coffee shop is a hot spot in the LA valley with a line out the door. They have both coffee and matcha and they both taste refreshing and great. The iced coffee is a very nice treat and the matcha tastes very high quality. The workers - especially Eliana - are very nice and move really fast to make your drink. Re Coffee in Granada Hills has drinks that look really good and are nicely presented, but unfortunately the taste didn't quite match the appearance. The coffee wasn't strong enough for my liking and the flavor was lacking overall. It wasn't bad, just underwhelming, especially if you're someone who likes a bold or rich cup of coffee. It's a cute spot, but I was hoping for more depth and strength in the coffee itself. read more

First impressions, place is bright, clean, and staff is friendly and on top of things. Wasn't sure what to expect here, as I usually see a line out the door to this place sometimes. The place is pretty bare bones when it comes to decor, I'm talking only 1 small framed poster in the corner of the restaurant and the large shared wall has nothing on it. Food, I ordered the matcha pistachio latte. It came out quick, they have about 3 baristas working the coffee while they have one cashier. My drink looked great and tastes fantastic, I am a big fan of matcha and pistachio so this was nice. The drink is surprisingly THICK, so I have to take my time with it. It's very heavily matcha flavored with bits of crumbled pistachio on top of it. It's very good, however the only thing I'd have to warn about is that this drink, which is about the size of a Starbucks iced grande, cost $8.50. So it's a bit pricy for a standard drink, but it's the most expensive one on their menu (I believe). They have standard coffee, lattes, etc plus pastries that they can warm up as well. Coffee is always consistent and has never let me down, no matter how many times I've visited. The workers are efficient, friendly, and keep everything running smoothly, making each visit enjoyable. The pastries are always fresh and taste amazing, pairing perfectly with the drinks. The music they play creates a relaxed and chill atmosphere that makes the café even more inviting. My caramel cream top is delicious--you can taste the rich coffee clearly, while the creamy topping adds the perfect finishing touch to every sip. read more

I am a huge cafe lover but great cafes are really hard to come by in the valley, so I was obviously thrilled when this spot opened up. Me and my friends tried the Einspanner Latte, Einspanner Matcha, and Pistachio Cream Top. Everything we tried suited my palate. They are rich, creamy and not too sweet. You can also tell that they use high-quality, ceremonial grade matcha since the color is vibrant and green. There is very minimal seating so it's not ideal for working. But overall, I will be adding this to my cafe rotation! read more

Stopped by Re Coffee one of our favorite coffee spots in Northridge, San Fernando Valley. It's so nice to see a Christmas tree as soon as you walk into the coffee shop. Love the coffee aroma that greets you once you walk into the shop. One of the things we love about Re Coffee is they are consistent with serving delicious coffee drinks and providing excellent customer service. The cashier, staff and baristas are always pleasant and exude positive vibes. All time favorite Mocha Cream Top especially this time of the year. My go to coffee drink at Re Coffee. read more

Stopped by because this shop is right next door to the UPS store but wow it was crowded. It's a very small space and there were so many people crowded in there. The coffee seems to be amazing that there's so much foot traffic here! I don't personally drink coffee but I love the smell, the non coffee menu has a few things to choose from! The girl in the right is extreme rude. I have hearing difficulty in one ear and asked the employee to repeat herself. Rather than repeating the information normally, she exaggeratedly drew out the word "cooooooffffeeeeee." This response was inappropriate because it came across as condescending and mocking, particularly in response to a reasonable request for clarification. Respectful communication would have involved calmly repeating the word at a normal pace and tone, without exaggeration or ridicule. Never coming back. That's recofee. I work at 2 of the hospitals in the area and we order from you guys sometimes. Never again. read more
One of the prime coffee/matcha joints in the valley. Don't have to drive all the way to K-town for my matcha fix ! They are known for their Einspanner s , which is nice and creamy. Milk alternatives available and you can sweeten your matcha with either vanilla syrup or agave. Get the crème brûlée pastry. It's not overtly sweet and has nice thick creamy dense filling. Parking lot available at the back. Some tables to sit and wait (with outlets!) but not a place you could sit and study. The space is too small and can get packed. read more
This place deserves all its high praise! There's parking on the side or the back side of the shop, we didn't have any trouble on a Saturday morning. We got 2 Einspanner vanilla oat lattes and they were absolutely delicious. Very creamy and good coffee flavor. Agree with another review that if you like strong coffee maybe go with one extra shot. The crème brûlée pastry was also delectable and perfectly sweet! The line was out the door but that's mostly because there isn't a lot of space inside to wait so it's not actually as long as it seems. The service is quick and efficient and does the best they can for the constant traffic. We probably were in and out in 20 minutes. We'll be back again in our 2 week trip in the Valley. Can't wait to try more pastries and other signature drinks read more
Cool coffee shop with minimalistic design, great coffee and delicious pastries. I went with Vanilla Enspanniser iced coffee drink, which is an iced latte with very delicious, smooth vanilla cream on top. It hit perfectly and was very tasty. For my pastry, I tried their popular creme brulee pastry, which was absolutely yummy. It looked and tasted like a really fresh cronut covered by a creme brulee cream. As you bite into it, you get the crispiness of the cronut and the smoothness of creme brulee all in one bite. Taste-wise, an amazing combination. The spot itself has a few very small tables with seating benches for dine-in. The customer service was nice and attentive. Will check this place out again! read more

One of the best einspanner lattes that I've had. I love getting their iced einspanner latte with vanilla; the einspanner cream is creamy and mixes with the coffee so well without being overly sweet. I've also tried the matcha einspanner and it has such a rich and strong matcha taste, which is exactly what I look for in any matcha drink. Whenever I'm back in town, I make an effort to go and get my fix. The only down side is that the line can get incredibly long and out of the door, especially during peak mid/late morning hours.. when I see this as I drive by, I continue my drive because the wait is too long. I always try to go early in the morning around the time they open because it's obviously more empty and a fun pick-me-up drink! Also seating is limited if you're thinking of grabbing a drink with friends and sitting down. read more
With matcha being so popular, I knew I had to try it in SoCal. My sister recommended this spot as she liked the strong matcha flavor and she was not wrong. We came on a Sunday morning and the wait was about 15 minutes. Service is pleasant and they greet you warmly. After you order, they also give you a punch card for rewards. There are a few tables inside and chairs but it's pretty compact and loud. Good to catch up with friends but idk about studying. We all ordered the matcha einspanner and it was amazing. Super strong matcha flavor that went well with both the vanilla and agave sweetener. Definitely worth the hype. read more

As soon as you walk to the front, the line is LONG. Like similar to the line length of community goods. However the line here moves really fast so it doesn't feel much of a wait. We were recommended this place from a relative and now I see why it's so popular. They make great matcha and Latte. We got multiple Matcha Einspanners and the Latte Einspanner. One matcha had oatmilk and the other matcha had almond milk. Both were great. The one with almond milk seemed to be more flavorful and sweeter than the oatmilk despite picking the same sweetener so I'm not sure if the choice of milk makes a difference in the sweetness factor. Either way they, they are both great choices. The oatmilk one is just a lot less sweet. The crème brûlée pastry is very notable. It's not too sweet like one would expect. It's actually the perfect in between. I would order it again. The mixed berry pastry is also good just more on the tarty side. Inside is pretty small but has just enough space if someone would want to use it as a mini study spot. Overall It's a well done coffee place. read more

It was first my time trying an einspanner. Matcha tasted great and not the cheap kind and mixed well with the cream. It is a thicker drink but I enjoyed it and it was a good level of sweetness. I'm usually not a big sugary coffee drinker, but whatever is in the mocha drink is just so good and keeps me coming back. I got the iced mocha cream top, and it's perfect. I don't know if it's the balance of flavor or the caffeine level, but it gives me the best kind of energy to start my day. I normally go for plain black coffee, so it says a lot that I actually crave this one. It might be on the sweeter side, but honestly, it's so good that I don't even care. Now I completely understand why there's always a line out the door in the mornings. I highly recommend checking it out. read more

Re coffee is such a treat every time we get it! On a Saturday afternoon, the line was out the door but it goes by pretty quickly and drinks come out relatively fast for how busy it gets. We got the pistachio cream top and the matcha einspanner. Highly recommend. We usually come here just for their pistachio cream top they also sell beans for about $22~ and it's a decent amount! Drinks are solid. The really popular drink is the pistachio cream top latte. The pistachio is legit and has a really nice flavor that taste like real pistachio. Shout out for providing pistachio crumbs on top of the cream for extra texture. The matcha drink was also very good and balanced flavor. Not bitter at all and the einspanner isn't too sweet so you can actually enjoy the matcha. Parking available in the back. Or you can find street parking around. Service, the staff is kind. Ask for stamp card if you haven't. They don't offer it when it's too busy Ambiance can be very busy and there's not too many seats inside. Overall great coffee shop in the valley!!
