I was walking around the mall looking for coffee when I randomly came across this spot, and I'm so glad I did. The place has such a cozy atmosphere, with cool decor everywhere, and they even sell jewelry. They also have a piano, and while I was there someone started playing, which made the whole place feel special. I ordered a regular iced coffee with milk, and it was exactly what I wanted, strong and really good. Now I want to come back to try their food and more of their coffee specialties. The girls at the counter were also very attentive. Such a nice coffee spot.

Really cute shop. Their menu is extensive and the staff is really friendly and helped us find something we'd like. There is plenty of seating. The big leather couch is very comfy. They sell lots of different tchotchkes and handmade Knick knacks and pieces of art. They have games you can play too. The ambiance is very cozy and welcoming.

Turkey BLT

I finally stopped by Barclays Coffee and Tea and honestly... I'm mad at myself for not coming sooner. This place checks so many boxes for me: great food, incredible drinks, and live music. I ordered their Turkey BLT and wow it was really well done. The turkey was fresh, the bacon added the perfect crunch, and everything tasted balanced and satisfying. Not dry, not overloaded. What really elevated it for me was pairing it with their chipotle dressing. That dressing deserves its own shoutout. Smoky and a little bold. The perfect compliment to the sandwich. Now let's talk drinks, because Barclays absolutely killed it in this area. I had their white chocolate dulce latte after having it recommended to me from the employee. Saying it's perfect for those that like their lattes on the sweeter side. WOW wow wow. Easily one of the best lattes I've EVER had. That is saying a lot because lattes are my favorite sweet treat. I get them all the time and have tried more than I can count from different cafes. This one stood out immediately, perfectly smooth, rich without being heavy, and just the right level of sweetness but also being able to taste the espresso. Not overpowering, not artificial tasting just cozy, comforting, and expertly made. I will definitely be coming back for this alone. I also tried their raspberry mango Fresca refresher, and it was amazing. Super refreshing, light, and not too sweet at all, which I really appreciated. The fruit flavors were bright and clean, making it such a great option if you want something flavorful but not sugary. I was impressed across the board with both drinks. Seriously! Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere here is something special. The cafe has this old-school, rustic charm with beautiful wooden furniture that feels warm, welcoming, and timeless. It's the kind of space that feels relaxed but intentional. Makes the perfect spot for catching up with friends, working, or just enjoying your coffee slowly. And then there was the pianist! Something I definitely did not expect. Such a nice, unexpected touch. Hearing live piano music while sitting in the cafe instantly elevated the entire experience. The music was amazing, calming, classy, and added so much character to the space. It truly made the visit feel unique and memorable, not just another coffee stop. The service overall was pleasant and the staff was kind. While everyone was friendly, there were a few small moments where the flow could've been a bit more seamless. Nothing that took away from the experience, but with a little more attentiveness, the service could easily match the high quality of the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Overall, Barclays Cafe completely impressed me. From the thoughtfully made food and standout drinks to the cozy rustic vibe and live piano music, it's the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cafe with heart, quality, and an experience that goes beyond just coffee.

Breakfast Sandwich

Stopped here for coffee this weekend and this cafe had such an adorable little vibe. They had a good amount of seating and it's work friendly. I got the white chocolate dulce latte and it was okay, I'm usually into very sweet coffee but this was a bit overpowering. I also got the breakfast sandwich with eggs cheese and bacon. It was pretty yummy, it could have been a little like more toasted but I did enjoy it and it was a good size for sharing. It also came with a chipotle mayo and it was super delicious! Overall, I would return and maybe try another drink off their tea menu.

Matcha

Came in here the other day super cute coffee shop loved the vibes here! I ordered an ice matcha and honestly it was pretty good the matcha was more on the sweeter side so if I like sweet drinks definitely check this place out!! I also got their BLT and it was soooo good but it could've been a bit more crispy fs. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. I also loved how they had a bunch of Knick Knacks all around that you can purchase.

Great customer service at this local coffee shop- everyone is very kind and welcoming. It looks like they have live piano performances on certain days, that's a lovely touch! Today I came in and stayed for a while because I needed a change of scenery. I recommend the spice crumb donut, it was great and reminded me of fall.

Horchata Latte & Lavender Vanilla Latte
Mary A.

Came back to give this place another chance, and the space itself was really nice and cozy with easy parking. I ordered the lavender vanilla latte and the horchata latte with an extra shot of espresso. The lavender vanilla latte was just okay for me and definitely on the sweeter side. The horchata latte, however, was very good. The flavors complemented each other well, even with the extra espresso shot. I've been here before to try their matcha, which sadly disappointed me since it didn't really have much matcha flavor. Because of that, I mainly wanted to give their coffee another shot. I'm not sure if I'd come back, but I do have to say the service is really nice, which makes the experience better even if the drinks are a bit hit or miss.

I was in need of a little pick me up. I finally decided to give this place a try. As soon as I walked it was very packed. The place looked very chill. They had art from different vendors for sale. Very cute spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. I order the Horchata Latte. It had the perfect balance between sweet and cinnamon. I will definitely be returning to try their other drinks.

They're very nice and it's a chill environment. I love that they support small businesses and have a lot of events for the community. I got the Horchata latte which you can definitely choose the sweetness level. Service is good. They try to accommodate you and they let you know what's available which is nice. Not my favorite coffee, though. I have to try it again and a few more items on the menu and will revisit the review.

We had high hopes returning for a second visit, but unfortunately, our experience was a significant step down from the first. The space felt much too cramped inside, making it uncomfortable to relax. We also noticed a faint but persistent dog odor, and there were a few small bugs flying around our table, which was off-putting. Our main issue was with the drinks. Both were overwhelmingly sweet. My husband ordered an ice blended drink, and it was not only far too sweet but also had a very watery, melted consistency, lacking the thick, blended texture you'd expect. It's a shame, as we wanted to like this place. Based on this visit alone, we can't say we enjoyed our time and likely won't be returning.

Ask the Community - Barclays Coffee and Tea

What local roasters do they source beans from?

Are the stamps per visit or per drink?

Yes, a barista offered me a loyalty stamp card for buy 10 drinks get 1 free. It also says valid for every five pounds of whole bean coffee that you purchase, the next pound is half-off. The other side is a realtor business card.

Is there outdoor seating where people can study?

Yes, about 3-4 tables. Half have seating for 2 and the other half for 4 or so.

Do they have outdoor seating at this time?

Yes we do:)

Are they allowing people to work/study inside?

Yes

Are their hours being effected by protests?

Hi George, Our new hours are from 8 am to 6 pm. We have not been closing earlier than 6 pm except for when the curfew is in effect at an early time. We hope this response…

Does anyone know if they will refill a reusable coffee cup?

Yes the baristas will do it upon request

Do they have sugar-free sweeteners?

Sorry I'm not sure. As I got a plain tea.

Is this a good place to study?

Excellent place to study indoors and outdoors.

White coffee available? not a drink name, its actual coffee, unroasted.

Calorie and nutritional facts? I got an iced spiced chai and I need to know 😣

😂😂😂😂😂

Does this shop sell loose leaf tea?

They do sell tea, but I don't if it's loose tea.

Does anyone know if the iced earl grey tea latte is back on the menu? I went back a few months ago and the barista didn't know what I was talking about :( . That was the main reason I went to Barclays.

Same here girl! Just asked... they have it again! They said the only difference is that it was powder before, and now they have the loose leaf tea.

My mom got the iPhone 18 so why not snap a few pics, update the review and bless you with some nice new pics! First off, the parking still isn't great. It's a small parking lot located next to a building for lease and a liquor store. Two spots are dedicated to the liquor store, there's a handicap spot and probably 4-5 parks. It's usually full so you either have to park on Saticoy somewhere. Once you arrive you are greeted by some of the nicest waiters and waitresses in the valley. I think they are great and they are always so cheerful and happy to serve and help. As for the food, I went with the English Butty. My mom ordered the Black Forest Ham & Tillamook Cheddar Omelette, my son got the strawberry and blueberry pancakes and my dad ordered the Panwhich. A must order is still the lavender lemonade! Sooooo good!!! The food is still amazing and the portions are pretty big. The food usually comes with potatoes and a side of some green stuff. I'm not sure what it was but I killed it this time lol. Overall, Humble Bee is still a top location for some good, organic breakfast in the area and we will always be back for more! OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Zoe took amazing care of us and was an absolute joy throughout our visit. Thank you Zoe!! We started with the Dr. Feel Good wellness shot, which Zoe actually made fresh herself. I really appreciated that it was housemade instead of coming from a prepackaged bottle--it felt fresh and intentional. And DID THE JOB! For food, we ordered the Humble Bee Animal Style and the Farm Boy with turkey sausage. Everything was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. And those pancakes... I'm still thinking about them! This is definitely a place worth trying. Between the generous portions, welcoming service, fresh quality ingredients, and reasonable prices, it's an easy spot to recommend. We'll absolutely be back!

Let me begin by saying that most of the food here is very, very, very well prepared and very, very,…read morevery good. What baffles me is the service. The last time I came here it was about five years ago, when it was still CiCi's. What I remember about that last time was how long it took us to get our food. I ordered steak and eggs, and when we asked when our food was coming, our waitress stared at me and said, "Well you ordered the steak . . . ". As if it was my fault that the food was taking a very long time. Regardless, when the food finally came, it was very good. However, the price point and the service was enough for me not to go back for a very long time. Until today. There are two seats on the very far left end of the bar that are lower than the regular bar seating. The hostess gave us menus promptly. There is a tall waitress working there who wears large glasses. Her hair was pulled back tightly. I'm not sure if she's is Asian or Hispanic. I'm not saying that to throw any shade at her ethnicity whatever it is I'm just saying that to try to describe who this person is. I have never in my life, been looked at so sourly and exasperatedly by a waitress as I have when this waitress saw my boyfriend and I sitting at the bar. No smile. Maybe she was upset because I had to flag her down because we had been sitting there waiting for someone to ask us if we wanted anything to drink. I asked for two coffees and two waters. She brought us the waters, and I never spoke to her again. Another waitress was kind enough to bring us our coffees after that. We waited a little while to order and yes, it was busy, but there were at least two or three people behind the bar at all times and I know they have other customers in the restaurant to serve so that doesn't bother me at all. So there was a third woman who took our order. We waited and waited and waited for our food. They did refill our coffee. After a while, I finally asked is our food coming? I was told let me go check by a fourth person. That fourth person returned and said that our food would be up soon. 10 minutes later I asked again if our food was coming. I understand certain things that take a long time like any of the pancake soufflés, but we did not order any soufflé pancakes. When I asked the second time when our food was coming, again, that person went to the kitchen to ask. When that person came back, they said oh it's not ready because you ordered the steak. The exact same thing they told me the last time we were here five years ago as to why our food was taking so long. I order my steak, medium rare every time it does not take that long to make a medium rare steak. Regardless, when I got my food, it was delicious. They forgot the side order of potatoes (because God forbid steak and eggs comes with potatoes) but I told them not to worry about it because I didn't wanna have to wait another 30 minutes to get them. My entree also came with a crêpe, and when they asked me what kind of crêpe I wanted, I asked for a Nutella crêpe. You know what they give you? A bone dry crêpe with whipped cream and a few drops of Nutella. I'm pretty sure that Nutella is supposed to go inside the crêpe not just a couple drops on top of it with a big giant dollop of whipped cream. And just because I feel like it, you know what's really low rent for a place with these prices? Tossing a to-go plastic disposable container of A1 on the plate with the steak and eggs. Seriously? You don't have a small little ceramic ramekin that you could at least put the A1in? I feel like that was put there just to fill up the plate because they don't give you any potatoes. Kind of a classless move. So like I said before, the food was very good and I'm sure it always will be. But when the waitress looks at you like you ruined her day, it reminds me why I haven't come back for years. Then when I really WANT to support that local business again, history of repeats itself. I don't like being blamed for my food taking forever because it's what I ordered. That is completely ridiculous and not the customers fault. So just be prepared for dirty looks and even if it's not that busy you're still gonna wait a long time for your food and maybe it'll be worth it but that's up to you.

The bread was slightly on the darker side but it didn't detract from the overall experience one bit -- every bite was rich, creamy, and satisfying.
