My favorite lunch spot. Gaby and her family truly make everyone feel like you're stepping into their home. Thank you for always having vegan options for me Besitossss

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute little family-owned cafe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner was so sweet and welcoming and super funny. She offered me a sample of the yerba mate and I did not expect that taste- but it's the good kind of surprise. I got the dulce de leche yerba matte and it was delicious! My boyfriend is a local here and has been here a couple of times and always gets the ham and cheese sandwich. Simple yet delicious.

A hidden gem and one of my favorite spots in the valley! Besides the delicious and refreshing yerba mate, the owner is so kind and welcoming! The first time we came, she gave us a run down of the menu, some samples, and, recommendations for flavor combos. I've tried the iced Yerba mate with strawberry + guava as well as with mango + maracuya (passion fruit). The fruit flavors (they use fruit purees!) compliment very nicely with the freshness and slight bitterness to the mate. Such a delicious pick me up on a warm afternoon! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A small and cozy cafe, but with tables great for working or chatting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll be back for more mate and to try the empandas! Free parking in the lot out front.

this place is such a nice spot for delicious bites and refreshing Yerba mate! We ordered the iced mango and iced dulce de leche Yerba mate. Both were really good! My favorite thing was probably the arabe empanada! We also ordered this slice of cake I forgot what it was called but it was pretty good and not too sweet. They were lovely and handed out flowers for international women's day which was so sweet! The parking is limited fyi. I'm definitely gonna stop by another time!

What a lovely spot to have a meal or drink and even work a little. My husband visited recently to work and kill some time before he had to pick the kids up. He said it was well set up as a work space which included places to plug in his laptop. He ordered some food to eat there, but was also ordering food to take to the kids. The owner offered to wait to warm up the kids empanadas and even suggested ones that they might enjoy. She will kept their drinks in the fridge until he was ready to leave. They all enjoyed the food and drinks and we'll head back soon to try other options!

I came here with my dad for a Sunday morning breakfast after getting a recommendation from a friend. This is an Argentinian cafe, and while they do serve food like empanadas, you must come here for the mate. I had tried mate before in premade cans at the grocery store and I had liked it! This however; was much better. We were greeted by the owner, a very friendly bilingual (Spanish/English) woman! She asked about our familiarity with mate and though my father had tried it once prior, I told her I had not but that I was here to try it. She offered us two mate samples and I loved them. The drink itself is a blend of green/black tea and tastes like it. I ordered the traditional mate (served hot!) in its traditional cup + straw as well as a few empanadas for breakfast. Hot Mate 5/5, this was a very lovely hot tea. It came with the herbs set up inside the cup above the strainer, a metal straw that connected to the bottom of the cup for you to drink the mate minus the herbs, and a gigantic thermos of hot water alongside to keep refilling my cup with hot water. If you don't love it being bitter but still want it traditional; I'd suggest not letting the water steep for long, but they also do have sweetener you can use as well as blended mate for lattes or juices. Spinach and cheese empanada 5/5, this was my favorite of the empanadas. I think the spinach:cheese ratio was well done and this was nicely savory for breakfast Caprese empanada 3/5, this one was just okay for me, I think it was a little more cheese heavy than I would have liked, I'd try another flavor the next time I swing by

The owner of this local cafe is so nice and accommodating. You can tell that she deeply cares for her patrons happiness and satisfaction from the second they enter her shop. I've tried a few different Yerba mate flavor combos, and so far the guava has been my favorite. They use real fruit purée as their flavor bases, which is amazing. I tend to ask the owner to pick her favorite pastry for me, because they always have many options on hand sometimes it's hard to choose. I love going there to enjoy my drink and snacks while working. There is plenty of table space to set yourself up for a few hours to get some work or studying done *For those that have not tried real Yerba mate tea before, do be aware that it is a slightly bitter tea. Personally I like it, especially when flavored, but not everyone might

A hidden gem! The ambiance is so cute! The green sofas are so pretty and they are comfortable. The staff is super friendly! The owners name is Gaby and she even gave out free pieces of cake to customers for her birthday. Super sweet! I love their blueberry mate-- super refreshing on a hot day and their caprese empanadas are DELICIOUS. Stop by, enjoy, and support small businesses.

My favorite study spot in the valley! Delicious pastries and mate, Gaby makes everyone feel like this is their second home and is so kind and welcoming. Always love the vibe here and never had a bad experienceGracias Gaby!!

We were greeting by a friendly staff member, perhaps the owner, who helped us with our empanada selection. We got spicy chicken, spicy beef, corn, and criolla empanadas. I strongly recommend the Criolla empanada, which is the most traditional, Argentinian empanada. It has ground beef, raisins, eggs, green onions, and spices. It was absolutely delicious and, when I go back, I will select this empanada!! I also recommend the corn empanadas (humita), especially if you're looking for a vegetarian option. It has corn, melted mozzarella, and white sauce. So delicious! I got these to go, but there are cute tables indoors and outdoors if you want to enjoy your empanadas there. They also sell mate and other Argentinian goodies like alfajores. Prices are reasonable; you can purchase just a few or a dozen. This has become my favorite empanada place!

We tried the guava, Nutella, ham, and bacon empanadas. The savory ones had a nice balance of filling without feeling too heavy, and the pastry itself was warm and satisfying.
