    Mark's BBQ Omelette
    Camille W.

Totally worth the hype. We had some guests from out of town and we took them here recently. They offer an incredible variety of waffles and breakfast items here. My bf couldn't believe you could get ice cream on your waffles haha. I really enjoyed the bbq omelette. I'd never think to put bbq sauce on an omelette but here I am, savoring every last bite. I wanted to split it into two meals but I couldn't stop eating it. I'd come again in a heartbeat, although I'd try and come during the week as opposed to the weekend because the wait is probably unbearable during most weekends. Ample parking because it's a strip mall. Also if you sit outside, they have plenty of heaters so won't shiver while you eat.

Wow what a hidden gem!! You don't even know about this spot since it's in the back of the shopping center. This place was crazy busy and packed as expected for a great spot and weekend brunch. We put our names down and waited maybe 15-20 minutes. Beautiful view of the fountain and they have nice seating outside. We got to sit inside where the AC was blasting lol. Food also came out really quick after we ordered! He got some potatoes with egg and I got the chilaquiles with added avocado and tortilla chips on the side so they don't get soggy. Huge portion so there were definitely some leftovers! Super delicious and love how quick the service was. Wish it had the green verde sauce but the salsa was nice and not spicy. Friendly staff both hosts and waitresses. Definitely want to come back and try some of their waffle items! IG: @ammysalamii

Food is great! 5 stars for food...everything else definitely could use some improvement. Make sure you do the yelp waitlist. Check in with the front when you arrive and be on top of your waitlist. We waited more than an hour, then got a text saying we were taken off. Front of house said we were supposed to check in with them (but never got a text)...party in front had same issue...didn't apologize or anything...waited probably 10 more min then we were sat for party of 3. 3 of us ordered: mushroom omelette $20.95 upgrade to blueberry waffle $7.50 side potatoes $5.95 cali omelette with waffle $21.95 OJ $5.25 Waffle is truly light and crispy, best I've had! Solid omelet. For the most part, staff is friendly, could be a bit more attentive. Older building. Layout of the place could definitely be more optimized...but why change anything when they're so busy haha. Overall, food here is great! Just be mindful of everything up to getting food on the table. Will be back!! Curious to see how the waffle holds up for takeout.

It's been years since I've been here but the spot is still the same and the food is so great ! We got there around 9 so there was no wait but when we left there were so many people waiting in a Sunday. Got a burrito which was delicious. Their portions are kind of big so it's definitely good to share. Can't wait to come back. It's such a cute place it's gives off a bed and breakfast kind of vibe.

More Than Waffles in Encino delivers that classic, feel good brunch energy with a Belgian twist. This spot is known for its crispy on the outside, soft on the inside waffles, generous portions, and a menu that leans comforting without trying too hard. The vibe is warm, family run, and steady the kind of place where locals keep coming back because the food hits and the service feels personal. Their waffles are the star, but the savory plates hold their own too, making it easy to mix sweet and savory in one sitting. Whether you're pulling up for a chill breakfast or a hearty brunch, it's one of Encino's most reliable neighborhood gems.

Service and food were all really good and the ambiance was very quaint and fitting! My friends and I ordered The Big G, Ronnie's breakfast bowl, the Sante Fe Benedict, and we also got a lemon lover Belgian waffle to share. Something that stood out right away were that the portions were enormous, especially the Santa Fe Benedict. All the good was delicious and my personal favorite was the waffle, which is rare. Shoutout to our server for being super attentive and hooking us up on the house strawberry jam and salsa!

Food was delicious. Our waitress was great. Didn't have to wait to long for our food. Place was clean.

This place is a bit tucked away--downstairs behind a large mall off Ventura Boulevard--but free parking helps, and clearly word has gotten out. When I arrived around 10:30 on a Monday morning, it was already packed, especially with families and large groups. The operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Service is attentive and efficient without feeling rushed: coffee cups are constantly refilled, water glasses never empty. The interior is warm and homey, cozy in a way that makes you want to linger. Portions are generous--almost too generous--and after watching waffle after waffle glide past my table, I regretted my choice. I went with the ham and cheese crêpe, which wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. The crêpe itself was a bit soggy and overwhelmed by melted cheddar. That said, the flavors were good, and the breakfast potatoes were excellent. Lesson learned: waffles next time.

I'm obsessed with Brunch In Arizona it's extremely challenging to find a dairy free brunch spot unless it's a vegan place Of course California has the answer This spot was buzzing from the moment it opened. As my cousins smiled at me they told me just wait and soon I'd see why this place was the best. When a place is new to me I always get the basics for starters. A basic and plain Belgian waffle When the waffle arrived I smiled ear to ear It was light and fluffy and each square sat waiting to be filled with syrup. Add on the fact that they offer you warmed maple syrup at no extra or added cost. Take a minute to just look at my picture of the waffle with maple syrup. Steady and waiting to be devoured this was the epitome that of perfection. The loaded potatoes quickly became my 2nd favorite at the table. Perfectly balanced between crispy and soft potatoes with the perfect blend of seasoning Can I get 3 of these in az please

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Quick search on my car gps for breakfast and found this place nearby, so decided to give it a try. After I parked, I couldn't find the restaurant. After checking outdoor pictures from Yelp, found out it's located inside of the building. I like waffle Benedict, pancakes was very fluffy, but not a big fan of Greek omelette since I m a meat eater. If you want meat, you have to add them in. The highlight was the service, I was about to order few different dishes and she reminded me that their portions are big. So she help me tweak around my order and it came out perfect. Still had leftovers to take home

Love Waffle. Very good! Yummy, this is a full order $19ish, the half is $12ish..

We came early in the morning, right when they opened, and it was already almost packed! We ordered the Love Waffle, and it was so good!

Parking: Super easy! Large free parking lot in front of the strip mall Experience: I joined the Yelp waitlist from home for my party of 3 at around 9:20am on a Saturday morning. The estimated time said 10:06-10:26am, so we got there around 10am, but we weren't actually seated till 10:40am. However, once we did get a table, service was extremely (insanely) fast!! The menu was so extensive and everything looked delicious! I got the lemon Belgian waffle and it wasn't my favorite but my friends liked their waffles! I'd definitely come back and just plan for a longer wait.

Menu as of 7/21/21 (front page)

Love coming here for brunch! Definitely get on the waitlist on the weekend. I'd say usually, if you join the waitlist at 11am, you may be seated by 1pm so just time it well lol The ham cheese and egg crepe (forgot the name) was delicious and looked pretty unique, I wasn't expecting a burrito looking thing but wow it is huge and they stuff it generously!! I had fruits as a side bc boy, that thing was big, I could only eat half! They always give you two sauces: a spicy one for savory dishes (tasted so bomb with the crepe and honestly any other egg dishes) and some berry marmalade which does so well with their waffle (which I'd also recommend. After all that's what they specialize in, according to their name!). Service is great, especially one in particular who anticipated alllll of our needs ahead of time and was so on top of everything, checked in on us multiple time, she made us feel super special. Can't wait to go back!

Weekends will be busy and there will be a wait for a table, but I ventured in with some friends on a Wednesday, and we were quickly seated. On this occasion, our server took a fairly long time to come to our table, and was very low energy. One got the sense that she may have been preoccupied with some things, but she was still professional and did everything that needed to be done, so let's just chalk up the lack of enthusiasm to a Wednesday blues. I ordered the Hash Benedict, which replaces the traditional Canadian bacon with Corned Beef Hash but otherwise has all the usual Benedict elements. The eggs were poached nicely, with just the right amount of "runniness" to them, and the Hollandaise sauce had a pleasingly acidic bite and an enjoyably light consistency. The corned beef hash, however, was unmemorable. Not much flavor and perhaps a bit too heavy for adding so little taste to the dish. One friend ordered the Fort Lox, which is the Nook's take on the Jewish deli staple, Lox, Eggs and Onions. It was a generous portion, expertly scrambled, and served with properly browned breakfast potatoes. He ate every bite, and enjoyed it. His wife ordered the Big Mamma Omelette: eggs whites folded over spinach, veggie sausage, garlic, jalapenos and mushrooms, then topped with melted mozzarella. This was also a very generous portion, again served with nicely browned potatoes. Lots of ingredients, lots of flavor, and lots of satisfaction. All in all, this was a good, mid-week breakfast, though I'd not order the hash again (that's a personal thing), and I hope our server finds some bliss in the coming days.

It was full and the whole parking situation with the metered is a cluster fuck. Not part of the restaurant....lol... Found street parking along Moorpark which was only a little walk to the restaurant. There was a band setting up when we arrived which could also be the reason for a full parking lot. I overheard someone saying that certain days they have live music which is perfect as it's starting to heat up. Nice dining experience with live music. We ended up sitting inside for the ac which I would have love to be outside but it was fine. Breakfast had ended but the lunch menu was quite good. I've alway ordered at the counter each visit which I'm not even sure they have waitress service with order. After ordering, a number is give where it's placed on the table. As there was a couple of us, a few dishes was had. I alway go for the mimosas deal, 3 for the price of 2. Food, the Cobb salad which I forgot to add protein to it but it was still decent. That came with their vinaigrette dressing but a side of ranch was also asked for. The Brie and turkey sandwich with a side of the macaroni salad. Sandwiches were quite tasty with the toasted bread and how everything melted together. The burger which was pretty big in size. Tasty from what I was informed and served with a side of fries. Lastly, the avocado toast with tomatoes. Simple and cheerful. Plus you need an extra side order of streak fries with ranch. Both ketchup and their avocado dip was brought out as well. Food was good, the service was great. Both with the gal at the register and the waitress bringing out the food. It's pet friendly which is also nice to have the little pup with us. Forgot, they also have a nice display case of sweets on hand. And cookies that were massive. Clearly one was had before the meal. Sweets beforehand is always a good idea. Great service, nice drink, live music and a lovely crowd. What a nice way to enjoy lunch on a Tuesday afternoon.

They have a small parking lot out front but it's quite small, I found a parking spot a couple blocks away. It's on a busy street though so beware of fast traffic. They have lots of outdoor seating in the patio, it's mostly shaded and seems like a great spot to come and do work. They also have a big indoor space as well. You order inside and they bring your food out to you. I got the Chinese chicken salad. It came out pretty quickly and had a nice presentation. It was good overall but also not the best I've had in town.

I went here for a late lunch a few days ago. It wasn't busy since it was a weekday. I copped a…read moresquat at a high top table and perused the menu. The drinks looked good but I decided to save some calories and just had a glass of water. For food I started with clam chowder. I'm thinking it was a special since it was on a piece of paper on the table. It came in a bread bowl...it had lots or clams, bacon and potatoes. It was delicious. It could have been a meal with a small salad. So for my entree I had the lobster Mac and cheese. It was good as a well. Ooey gooey and seasoned nicely. I was almost full from the chowder so only at about 1/3 of it but would definitely recommend. It was my first time coming here and I'd definitely return.

Honest review…read more.... Beer options - 5/10 They were aiming for local brews but honestly, not the best options. Food - 7/10 For pub food, it's not bad but not great. Service - 5/10 I'm not sure if they were just so understaffed or what was going on. Food took forever to come out & it seemed as if there was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant. She also had an ugly attitude. Price - 2/10 Honestly for pub food, it's way too overpriced. You're paying West Hollywood prices in the valley, probably more. I hate that each sandwich/burger is $15+ à la carte. Ridiculous! Cocktails - 2/10 Ordered an old fashioned multiple times & each time it was too heavy on the bitters. Gross! Ambiance - 6/10 It's a cool dive bar feel but the TV sound could've been on for the ball game. OVERALL - 6/10 It's way too overpriced to even want to come back. The food is mid, and just not worth the price. The beer options also are not it. Cocktails aren't great either. Probably wouldn't come back.

The atmosphere is casual and…read morefestive, with TV's playing sports and a varied crowd that includes daters, older couples, families and singles making the most of their weekend. There's music that's lively without being overbearing, and the staff is uniformly friendly. But... You have to order at the bar and, though they have runners to bring your food, you do have to hunt them down for anything after the delivery (extra ketchup, etc). While this isn't my favorite system at my age, to be fair, whatever the owners are saving on staff is reflected in the prices, which are absolutely below most places in the area for food that is good-quality and drinks that are generously poured. So yes, my wife's Espresso Martini was served in a deep-bellied Belgium beer glass, and my whiskey neat was a hefty pour. Yay!! For food, I ordered the Smash Burger, which is served with melted American, grilled onions and the house version of Russian dressing (as well as pickles, which I deleted). The burgers had a nice, smashed crust while remaining juicy, the cheese was properly melted, and the grilled onions had a terrific caramelized sweetness, while the house sauce was very well-balanced: ketchupy and creamy without being too mayonnaise-heavy. A very good smasher. My wife ordered the Big Texan Burger because she wanted cheddar and frizzled onions and BBQ sauce, though she deleted the bacon and pork belly that are normally included. This, too, was a very good burger: cooked to a proper and pleasing medium-rare and well-seasoned, with a good, fresh flavor to the beef. The onion rings were less successful, which are of the beer batter type, but seemed to be a commercial, frozen product. The coating was browned but not crisp, and the flavor was relatively nondescript. We didn't really eat them, and wouldn't order them again. And so, to me, The Tipsy Cow is a bit of a mixed bag: reasonably priced decent food and reasonably priced, generously-poured drinks -- but in a mostly self-serve environment that incrementally loses its appeal in relation to your age and your dining circumstances. Certainly worth a try, but you've gotta be in the right mood.
