I've had Mack Shack previously at catered events last year and I was absolutely ecstatic to hear their food will be even more available now with a physical location. I had the BBQ burger and chorizo chili fries and the food was just as good as I remembered. The team also delivers excellent customer service, going above and beyond to really make sure they provide delicious and satisfying food. Highly recommend Mack Shack and can't wait to see how the menu expands as the brand grows! What a great burger spot! I visited Mack Shack yesterday and tried their OG Mack burger, classic burger, chorizo chili cheese fries, and s'mores cookies. Everything was delicious--I enjoyed every bite. The OG Mack burger was my favorite, mainly because of the candy bacon they make themselves. It was juicy with thick pieces, not flimsy at all. Their Mack sauce added an extra touch that made the burger stand out. The classic burger was also incredible and generously sized. It comes with pickles, and guess what? They make their own pickles! That's freaking dope. The chorizo chili cheese fries were perfect and full of flavor. What more could you ask for? Lastly, the s'mores cookies added a perfect sweet touch to the meal. They were chewy, soft, and perfectly baked. Mack Shack operates as a ghost kitchen, with clear signs leading you to their pick-up area. It's only for takeout, but it was very easy to find. Researched the Best burgers in LA the last 3 weeks. Asked friends, families, read the reviews & stumbled upon Mack Shack as a result. So today was the day. Grabbed a few friends & went Burger Hopping. Drove to Silver Lake & went to the 2 most popular burger locations. Not impressed. It was OK.. nothing worth driving an hour for. 3rd & final stop was Mack Shack. Pulled up in the parking lot & 2 guys(the owners) standing in the parking lot handed us our burgers. Really nice guys. Told them about my experience in Silver Lake. From the 1st bite to the last was truly amazing. These guys nailed it. It's the kind of burger that gets better and better as you eat it. It has to be one of the best burgers that I've had. Finally get to try Mack Shacks food after hearing great things from friends and family. Got to try the Chorizo chili burger and OG fries. The chorizo chili has a tolerable heat that orchestrates along with the burger. It leads into having a mouth watering desire to the next bite. The OG fries has a lovely mess of onions and using their Mack sauce makes every bite wanting for the next. My brother got to eat the OG Mack burger and Chorizo chili fries. I got to take a bite of the burger and was greeted with a crisp bacon delight. The burger itself was beautifully crafted and made me wanting more after the bite I had. My brother happily devoured the burger with a pleasant smile to end it. I also got to try a bit of the Chorizo chili fries and it was a suberb experience. The addition of shredded cheese ontop of the Chorizo chili was magnificent. My brother agreed and got to feasting the pair of burger and fries with much delight. YOOOO Alot to unpack for Mack's Shack, I ordered the Chorizo Chili Fries and The O.G Mack and by God idk if any other burger/fry combo competes! The fries have that wingstop-esqe seasoning on them so they are a little sweet but the chorizo chili comes in like a 6'5 280lb linebacker to break it up, on the OG Mack burger the star (other then having the perfect blend of the patty) is definitely the candy bacon, the brown sugar crust mixed with the soft, chewy, fatty part of the bacon had me second guessing any diet I have ever been on. 10/10 easy, yall killed this! read more

I had the O.G .Mack burger, I liked everything about the burger., raw onions, homemade pickles, candy bacon , cheese, a juicy patty and the Mack shack sauce. The food is to go only as the place is located in a building with other restaurants, restaurants in an industrial park. I was in out in about 10 minutes., the two guys that run the spot, are friendly and willing to go into further detail about the food if you as. Ambience is not an issue since there is nowhere to sit inside the spot or outback in the parking lot, I highly recommend this spot, Is the best hamburger that I've had here in the San Fernando Valley. read more

FINALLY had the pleasure of trying out the Mack shack! Man I couldn't have been happier, this place will have you craving more. My favorite goes to the bbq sando that thang is huge the boys are super generous with their portions let alone the flavor is immaculate super saucy, juicy, crunchy. I loved biting into the soft pork with the crunchy onions to back it up. If you're not into burgers that's okay they got tacos too and the pork barbacoa should be your first choice crunchy shell with soft juicy pork and those picked onions ! Can you tell I like onions hahaha Chorizo fries to finish them off and oh man my stomach was so full after all this the chorizo had such a tasty spice to it not spicy but you can tell they put real spices into this , fries were soft with the outer crunch and some cheddar cheese sitting on top. Again these guys are super generous you're gonna wanna have a friend to help finish all this food with. Overall the Mack shack is an amazing spot, can't wait to go back! The candied bacon on the O.G. Mack was to die for, amazing taste and texture that complimented the rest of the burger. The chorizo chili fries were amazing, the perfect spiciness of the chorizo chili atop crispy fries that retained their crunch the entire time I ate it.
