    Poor service and food

$54 and not sure for what. I asked for a few extra onions and mixing the meat and chicken in the 3 wraps I ordered. The guy (Persian gentleman) charged me 1/3 more which was fine. But then did not do what I paid extra for. Here is my order sitting there (cold by the time I got it). Above all he was just beyond rude. The young lady and taller gentleman were so nice. Here is one of the receipts! They did a partial refund which I did not even ask for (as I never got my 3rd wrap).

Food is amazing. The NY style gyro fries are HUGE for the price but absolutely worth it. Burger was very good just more seasoned than we are used to.

Super nice and helpful guys! The gyro platter was really delicious and filling for less than $15

I am always looking for another Kebab place. So I journeyed to the Northridge Fashion Mall food court to pay a first time visit to the Kebab Lab. I ordered a carry out of the Lule Kebab Plate. It is a combo dish that comes with two minced beef kebabs, pita, hummus, rice and a cucumber salad. The star of such a dish has to be the Kebab and let me say that it is only a few places that can make a good kebab. This place did a grand job. The kebabs were freshly grilled, juicy and not dry, were cooked right, had the optimum charring and burned taste. If anything, the meat was kind of bland and should have had more seasoning, to boost the flavor. Hummus was nice and silky and the salad was fresh and refreshing. Service was exceptional. Now I have a place that is not too much of a drive, when I am in the mood for a tasty kebab.

Great attitude, very chill guys cooking and serving. The food is great, and it's reasonably priced. The ambiance is inviting and fun! Lots of pink and checkered black and white- it's surprisingly comfortable feeling. Probably my favorite spot to eat in the mall. It'll bring you to the mall maybe!

The staff are nice and lovely people! The food is very very very yum yum! My wife and I were very satisfied with the food and pleased with how much spent on a meal for two! Will definitely return for more! My stomach is full and my heart is happy!

First off, the staff were friendly and nice when taking my order, so I will give this business that! I ordered a small meal and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I was in sort of a rush so I was happy it would be finished quickly. Unfortunately it took over 30 minutes to get my food, and the chicken was burned and sort of bland. The garlic sauce and bread are great though. The environment was clean and quiet, with some nice soft music. Wish I could have given this spot a better review!

A little bummed about this place! Kebabs are really a hit or miss for me. My mom brought this home for us to enjoy for dinner and it just wasn't for me. The rice was okay. Could've been better. By the time she brought it home, the plates they used were really soggy due to the condensation and it was tough to pick up. Basically had to slide it out of the bag and use a new plate. I got a piece of the chicken and a piece of the "beef" and some rice and hummus to enjoy. I started with the chicken which wasn't so bad but definitely needed a lot of hummus for me to eat it since it can get a little dry. I was sad to see they didn't have the garlic butter that a lot of other Mediterranean places have. The beef was a huge disappointment. Not sure if it's a seasoning or what but it did not taste like beef. It tasted like lamb to me and I absolutely cannot stand the flavor of lamb. I was so bummed! I was really looking forward to it since I prefer beef over chicken in general. Sad to say, I probably won't be eating here again. IG: @ammysalamii

Maybe I'm a bit spoiled from Raffi's Place but this was just mid Rice and meat had little to no flavor the ambience was old school cafeteria I do appreciate the hard working cooks as there was only 1 guy manning both the grill and the cash register If anything looks like the wraps might be the way to go

Order number 10 and 3. Was amazing to our surprise small stop but very authentic Armenian food

Did not know what to expect because it's located in a building that only has a kitchen facility. I walked in, went to the kitchen door and was greeted by Fred. sweet, caring man that just wants to make delicious food served with a wonderful smile. Since my son was coming over, I ordered two koobedieh combos (beef and chicken ) and a falafel plate. OMG, so good, so much flavor and huge portions. The rice is perfectly seasoned and fluffy, the skewers were juicy and tasty. The falafel, the best I've ever had! So yelp community, I would be so grateful if you support this small family run business. You will not be disappointed. They also cater, score!!

This spot is takeout only, hidden in what basically feels like a restaurant warehouse, and as you walk down to pick up your food you genuinely start wondering, "Where the hell am I?" Then the aroma hits and suddenly you're floating like a cartoon character following the smell trail. I got the beef koobideh and WOW! Perfectly seasoned, insanely flavorful, fluffy rice, and the shirazi salad absolutely slapped. All this for $15 in 2026 when gas is $6.30. And the service? So kind. The person I called taking my order was sweet, everyone at pickup was welcoming, and I swear someone's grandma was in the kitchen because the food tasted like a warm hug. I don't usually write reviews unless the food is genuinely special, and I definitely don't gatekeep good food. So if you're craving Persian food, place the order now.

We had my grandmother's funeral reception here and Ali and his staff did an amazing job with a set up and accommodated additional guest beyond our original reservation. (1 Star) Another…read morelocal restaurant that is completely overrated and seriously underdelivered. Three of us dined here, and our bill came to $118. Unfortunately, the food was some of the most bland and uninspired Persian cuisine we've ever had. Nearly everything lacked seasoning, and instead of serving flavorful, balanced dishes, they seem to think selling large pots of plain rice makes up for it. The biggest disappointment was the chicken with walnut and pomegranate molasses. It was genuinely inedible--overwhelmingly sour, completely unbalanced, and devoid of any depth of flavor. When our server finally returned to ask how everything was, we were honest and explained that we couldn't eat it. Her response was simply, "I'm sorry," and that was the end of it. The Shirazi salads were equally disappointing. They were completely unseasoned, forcing us to season our own food at the table just to make them edible. In the hospitality industry, when guests clearly express that a dish is inedible and remains untouched, there should be some effort to make things right. Instead, there was no attempt to replace the dish, remove it from the bill, or offer any meaningful resolution. An apology without action isn't hospitality. What makes this especially disappointing is that Persian cuisine is known around the world for its rich flavors, balance, and centuries of culinary tradition. We weren't expecting a Michelin-star experience--we were simply expecting the basic fundamentals of cooking. Instead, we were served food that lacked passion, care, and respect for the cuisine it represents. The atmosphere is attractive, but if as much effort went into the food as went into the décor, this restaurant would be far more successful. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit.

Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. Service was lovely...the manager or owner took care of us and made us feel he was truly grateful that we were there. It's also a hookah spot...so if you're not into that vibe or smoke of any kind, (I'm not really) you'll definitely smell that anywhere you are in the restaurant, even if you're not seated next to those using hookahs. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean...especially a place that has some unique things not at other Mediterranean spots, definitely give Pi on Sunset a shot.
