The potatoes and corn soaked up every drop of flavor. If you've been to Boiling Crab, this is definitely playing in the same league. Service keeps things moving, even when the place is slammed. And it usually is. Every time I've been, there's a crowd waiting, which tells you everything you need to know. People aren't standing around for mediocre seafood. Was able to try this food truck that was parked on my street. Haven't had a seafood boil in a while…read moreso I was pretty excited. Got the special #2 with lobster tail, 1/2 pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potato for around $34. I got a mix of mild and spicy Cajun for a good medium spice. The first thing I noticed was how much flavor was in the sauce. The sausage, corn and potatoes were all great. The shrimp was good, just takes a little work as normal with seafood boils. I would prefer an option without the head-on. The lobster tail was the only mild disappointment, due to the meat being a little tougher than I'm used to with lobster tail. Overall the food was pretty good and the service as well. I'd try it again to get the crab leg and shrimp special.

To add to that, they close at 2AM. It's really hard to find a good Taco truck open late. Ambience is fine. It's a in the middle of a sketchy area, although sometimes diamonds are found in the rough. Food is good. Prices are... Well "normal". Not necessarily cheap, but not expensive either. I purchased two large AGUAS de Jamaica y una de horchata, 4 Tacos de asada and 1 burrito de Carne Asada. All the ingredients taste fresh and juicy here lol. My favorite base is the pitaya but it's nice to opt for a mixture of 2 different flavors. They use a decent amount of fruit and toppings so you don't end up with too much of the plain base on its own by the end of the bowl. Service was quick and the employee who helped me was friendly and prompt. She mentioned they were out of the cashew butter I requested for one of the bowls, so she provided a different butter on the side in a convenient container. I ordered the Aguachiles, Shrimp Ceviche, Fish Tacos, Shrimp Empanada, Ceviche mixto, and a michelada mix! The aguachiles were fantastic but they needed to be spicier imo. Otherwise, its light, flavorful, tastes fresh! The shrimp ceviche & mixto ceviche were excellent! They both had finely chopped veggies and tasted fresh without the fishy scent. However, I did feel it could have used more flavor with like a boost of lime. When paired with a sauce it was fantastic! The shrimp empanada was good! Not as crunchy as I had hoped but it was delicious. Had the shell been a bit crunchier it would elevate the taste more. The fish tacos were the star of the show! The fish was nice, crispy, and tasted delicious with everything it came with. I was upset that I didn't order more! When im back I will certainly get more of these. The michelada mix was also delicious with a great balance of flavors keeping the clamato from overpowering the entire mix. Overall, fantastic location!
