The lounge chairs, the whole ambiance was screaming: "Relax Bro". The Boba... definitely tasted premium. They did not skimp out on the powder. The boba itself was cooked well. I have had many a boba served undercooked with a hard center, not here! I had the Taro Boba, wife had Thai Tea boba. We got a Crepe and Espresso to go. Their extra large Boba lasted me about 2 hours, it is a very generous size cup for under $9. But I confess the highlight for me was the Espresso, while I didn't ask for anything on it, it came to me already sweet. I'm not sure if maybe that's how they make it or if it was done by error, but it was such a pleasant surprise. I'm definitely coming back for the Espresso. Also the chairs are dangerous in the sense that two of the leather lounge chairs are so comfortable, that you just want to sink and sleep. I had a great time. I got both mini pancakes and the mango sticky rice and my boyfriend got the crepe. The spot is definitely really cute and I'm surprised i hadn't been here before but happy to know about it now. Tasty boba in a quaint shop! We had a heavy dinner and want to get a treat. We haven't been to Chala before so wanted to try it! They have crepes and other sweets like mango sticky rice, but we just wanted boba tea. Same deal, select the flavor, add topping and choose your ice and sweetness. The shop is pretty well decorated we enjoyed just looking around the place. Drinks were good too and hit the spot. Parking can be a challenge. I came here around 12pm on Sunday and there was some parking spots in this plaza, tiny spots. The lady who was working was so friendly! I ventured out and got the Piña Colada Smoothie and the presentation was 10/10. At the top of the drink there was a pineapple ring so the straw can go straight in the middle and topped with coconut flakes :) mm mmmm It surprisingly wasn't overly sweet and the boba was perfect; still a bit warm and chewy. We tried the Thai tea boba, mangonada, butterfly pea flower tea (the flower is specially shipped from Thailand!), and the black pink smoothie. All were unique and delicious. We never tried Thai crepes but felt like being adventurous so we got the recommended thai sweet chili base with pork grinds and imitation crab, then topped with Thai siracha and Mayo.
