A delightful brunch spot right near the water, I just needed a relaxing place to read my book for an hour. This spot was exactly that - lots of natural light, delicious food, and incredible friendly servers. I'm so, so sad I can't come on the daily after discovering this wonderful cafe. Mother's Day we were unintended overflow from our original brunch place down the same street (literally). Their ninety minute wait was out of our comfort zone. Creme De La Crepe was able to seat the eight of us with a way shorter wait. The place is small and cozy with some outside seating - we sat inside. We started off with Bellinis one had a latte and another had the orange juice. We were all quite please. The food items were all on point not a complaint in the bunch. The crepes sweet and savory was very good. The crab cakes and the potatoe cheese thing that came with it was delicious. The big waffle so good slight crunch on the outside soft in the middle. The bacon was perfectly crispy (not burnt) and salty tasty (as bacon should be). The seafood omelet was enjoyable. The service was on point. Our servicer was knowledgeable and patient with our questions. The food came out hot. She checked on us often (kicking myself I don't remember her name) she gets kudos. This is a charming place. We were wandering around from out of town and wondering where we could eat dinner and having no idea what we were actually hungry for... When we stumbled upon this place. It seemed cute and kind of Frenchie... So we stopped in and ordered a salad with chicken on it which was fresh and delicious at abundant, and an order of fettuccine Alfredo. We shared both things. The fettuccine was hot, Rich, served now Dante, and had a little bit of an herbal addition that made it more interesting than regular Alfredo For dessert we had an oversized crêpe with cinnamon and brown sugar apples, ice cream and whipped cream. We couldn't finish it between the two of us I did make a suggestion to her absolutely delightful waitress that they should include bread with salads and pasta, or if charging the small fee they charge for the bread... She was friendly but I felt like she was moving at a leisurely pace. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It was probably the best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The portion size was big enough to split with another person. I also ordered a dessert crepe. The wait for the dessert crepe almost made it not worth it. This place is located in a high traffic area so parking can be hard to find. If you're unable to find street parking, there are parking structures/lots available for a flat price. The restaurant is rather small with various seating options and in addition to that, there's outdoor seating as well. No shade available on a sunny day so do keep that in mind. Our party was a party of 10, 8 adult and 2 children. Since there's limited seating, our only option was outdoor seating. Service is rather slow. We asked for highchairs twice and water at least 3 times. We didn't get water initially because they forgot, then they ran out of clean glass, and we didn't get our water until we were basically done with our meal. I got a panini and it came with a side of salad and sliced potato and cheese square. I wasn't a huge fan of that potato cheese since it was too heavy on the cheese flavor. Definitely my favorite brunch spot I always have to visit before I leave Long Beach. It almost feels like tradition for me to go here, I have always enjoyed the food here and have always had good service. A very quiant cafe that has indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu ranges from cafe style breakfast to even pasta and dessert, which has so many options to choose from. I have always returned to try the crab cake benedict, I feel like anytime I'm in Long Beach I just have to have something seafood. A nice savory meal that comes with a side salad and a casserole. I am definitely returning to try more of their menu. It was hard to decide what I wanted, because everything looked so appetizing. The pasta carbonara was so delicious! There was plenty of bacon and ham which is hard to come across in other restaurants. My boyfriend very much enjoyed his chicken Dijon plate and really enjoyed the potatoes that came with it. The chestnut latte was very yummy. The spread along the rim was addicting. He enjoyed his crepe as well. I did like the whip cream for the Belgian waffle, but I'll probably get a crepe next time too. Service was superb! Everyone from the waitresses to the kitchen staff were all friendly and seemed happy to be there. They were kind to each other and of course the customers as well, but it's always nice to see employees happily helping each other & keeping a good flow in the restaurant. Our very kind waitress went above and beyond just taking orders, she really made us feel like she was glad that customers were there. We felt welcomed to take our time. We sat on the couch so it was a very enjoyable experience. Thursdays are dinner specials and Wednesday you can bring your own wines with no corkage fee. This fabulous little French restaurant is a must, and perfect for crepes; regular or GF! Crème De La Crepe is a small little chain in the LA area. It captures all the essence and charm of a little cafe in France. The Long Beach location is comfortable and quaint. My server was so nice, the meal quick and tasty, and the cafe spotless! I paid quickly, but never felt rushed at all. I ordered the gluten free Farmer's crepe. It was huge! Served with a small side salad it was incredibly delicious and fresh. Parking is just right there on the street, and depending on the time of day, it is metered, but its corner location is easy to spot and access. I've tried several French bakeries/patisseries/cafes that offer something GF all over the South Bay/LA area, and they have all been very disappointing. They are usually rude, overpriced, and have very few GF offerings. Crème De La Crepe is a 5 star winner, and even my friend, who's from France, loves this place. That says something! With their nicely sized menu, specials, and coffees, there is something for just about everyone, any time of day. We spent the night downtown, waiting on our cruise and walk the two blocks over to this quaint little restaurant based on great reviews. This is a great mom and pop café with even better service. They were friendly and quick to get our drinks and help us ordering. I had the omelette which was cooked perfectly and seasoned even better. My wife had the French Benedict and raved about it. We are here visiting from Reno. My wife has a gluten allergy so we were looking for a place that could accommodate that. Ready for breakfast, we took a short walk from our hotel to Creme De La Crepe. I would have to say the food was amazing! My wife had the Alleshante, which apparently she really liked. Daughter had the French toast and cleaned her plate. I went with the smoked salmon hash. This is my first time here and upon walking in I love the warm ambience of the restaurant. I was a bit early, but they seated me for a table as I've waited for my family. I enjoyed the caramel latte while waiting for the family. The restaurant did get busy, almost every table inside was filled. There were a few people even sitting on the sofa. I see a few tables out on the streets also filled. My family arrived, we had a few minutes to look over the menu, and then we ordered. I drinks and coffee came out. And then we waited, and waited, and waited. Upon checking with the waitress the first time she said, our food was on its way. About 10 minutes later checked with another waitress about our order, for items, she told us that our waitress did not put in our order originally. Very disappointing. I understand and see the restaurant is busy, but to not put in our orders at all, that is very disappointing. Our kids had to drive to San Diego so we ate fairly quickly so they can leave. Upon getting the bill, and waiting over 25 minutes for our food. Nothing was deducted nothing was comped. The only thing said to us was apologies for the food being late. Stumbled upon this breakfast spot and dang wish I'd made a stop sooner. I would always pass by and say one of these days. They have outdoor seating but since it was raining I sat inside. It's very quaint, they have bar seating, couch seating and regular tables. I ordered a savory spinach and egg crepe served with a mini side salad with Caesar dressing, so good! Loved this little creperie by our vacation condo in Long Beach! We stopped for a patio lunch and had a lovely time in Paris. From the cute classic striped tee wait staff uniforms and berets, to the friendly helpful service... it was awesome. Sampling a sweet and a savory lunch crepe, his and had the sweet crepe with savory fillings in the St Pierre and I ordered the savory Parisienne buckwheat crepes. The St Pierre is a seafood crepe with shrimp, crab, tomatoes and peppers in a sweet crepe. It was fully and quickly devoured. My savory buckwheat crepe was so delicious, with a creamy Swiss and mushroom base all saucy inside, and generous chunks of chicken. It was a chilly morning and a more than 2 -block walk to Crème De La Crepe from the hotel. We came here for breakfast. It has a Parisian feel, with seating outside and a small warm dining space inside. To get you into the mood, there is French music in the background. The staff complemented the ambiance by dress and service. We ordered 4 dishes. The eggs Benedict came with small pieces of toast and a potato gratin. It was well liked. The rest of the 3 were crepes. Two were buckwheat, the open faced Espanola (with Chorizo, of course) and the wrapped Saumon (smoked salmon). The other usual type crepe was the St Pierre (crabmeat and shrimp). All 4 breakfasts came with a small salad. What was surprising is that all the crepes were tailored to the local audience and were devoid of French ingredients and flavor. Furthermore, all the crepes were loaded with chopped bell peppers and/or tomatoes. This took away from being able to fully savor the main ingredient, be it the salmon, crab or the shrimp. It also deprived from the taste density and mouth feel of the crepe itself, which should be the star of the show. Overall, the crepes were also tough. Coffee and service were good. read more

A wonderful French restaurant with a variety of dishes including a spectacular selection of sweet and savory crepes. After years of being slightly squeamish about escargot, I finally tried them here and found them absolutely delicious. The Marocaine Crepe (Jack cheese, spicy lamb sausage and madeira mushroom sauce) is another standout dish though really the entire menu is exquisite and I could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here for days! If you haven't had many savory crepes give Creme De La Crepe a try. If you have had savory crepes - you know what a treat you are in for and if you prefer sweet crepes or no crepes there are wonderful options there as well (the French Toast Grand-Marnier is excellent especially paired with the Hibiscus Flower in Champagne). The staff was wonderful and the whole atmosphere was charming. I was also pleased to see that they work to provide locally sourced and organic meat and poultry. 11/10 can recommend. You could also sit outside in the patio, but it was a bit muggy that day. The servers were quite kind, attentive, and dressed to fit the theme of the restaurant. The food came out quickly. I think i chose poorly from the menu. My fit crěpe was not too appealing-looking when it came out and it lacked flavor. The little salad had some nice zang. But my fault for trying to be healthy. The gauloise sweet crepe was a sweet treat, with the almonds nicely toasted and the baked apples giving a subtle flavor. The omelet Madrid didnt leave us craving for more. Given it was made with chorizo and salsa, thought it would have more of a kick. I'd give this spot another try, if I was in the area. Especially due to the specials they have, like no corkage fees on Tuesday or just to taste what the other menus would be like, while sitting outside, on a cooler day. This location has been here since forever and I've been working in DTLB for over 15 years, and they have been here since I started working already and I'm so glad they are still going strong. I love the feel of this location. A corner cafe with outdoor seatings, so Parisian! The food has always been consistent here. We came recently and I got the power bowl with smoked salmon. The smoked salmon was additional $6, which was not bad. My colleagues got two different crepes and they also liked theirs. It was one of my colleagues' birthday and we took her there and our nice waitress found out, and she said they do comped sweet crepe for birthdays. So she got a strawberry and Nutella crepe for her. It was so good and such a nice gesture from the restaurant. We love this place and would come here when we can for lunch! Def recommend! read more

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. She was warm and welcoming, and she checked in on us periodically. However, she was slightly forgetful at times, which led to a few small delays in service, like forgetting to bring some refills, ice cream and gave my friend the wrong order. It did affect the overall flow of the meal. For the main dishes, I tried the Potato Gratin, which was flavorful and nicely baked. It had a nice cheesy crust and a creamy interior, but I found it quite heavy definitely more of a comfort food than something light. The Pasta Alfredo with tomatoes was creamy and satisfying, but I would say the sauce was quite heavy and rich. It tasted good, but I think it could have been improved with a side of bread. A good piece of bread would have helped balance the richness of the sauce and enhanced the overall dish, making it more enjoyable and less overwhelming. The option to add chicken to the Alfredo was a nice touch, and it made the dish more filling. Still, the heaviness of both the gratin and the pasta made it feel a bit too indulgent for my taste. For dessert, I decided to try the Make Your Own Crêpe. Ambiance felt like a cute cafe. Service was friendly & efficient. Both of us shared a Bloody Mary & it was good. Hubby ordered the pasta carbonara & I had the shrimp & mango salad. I took a couple of bites of the pasta & it was flavorful but on the heavy side for me bc of the thick cream sauce. However, hubby enjoyed it. The salad wasn't anything special but the shrimp was cooked well & delicious. I like that they added ample amount of avocado & mango. Normally, I would've ordered the eggs Benedict but wasn't as hungry so opted for the salad. After finding out our favorite crepe spot on 2nd closed, my boyfriend and I found this place in hopes to replace our favorite spot. We went last Sunday for lunch. Be prepared to drive around looking for an open spot, since this is downtown they do not have their own lot. We finally get to the door and there is a line with 5 parties ahead of us.
