I don't visit often but have been coming here since it was called 4th & Vine under different ownership. Every time I do make a stop here, I always have a great time. Although they don't have the same wine selection they once had in its previous iteration, they still have some interesting wines. They also have a decent beer selection. I'm a sour guy when it comes to beer they always have at least 1 sour, if not more. Service is great but my favorite employee I've ever interacted with is the security guard at the door on Friday and Saturday nights. Wish I remembered her name but she's so kind! I enjoy the back patio when enjoying a beverage. It's always lovely and sometimes they even have a guest food vendor. Definitely good for groups or even unwinding by yourself.

I had a lot of fun here and it was awesome they had $5 wine for happy hour. I liked that they offer beer for those and don't like wine it's a win win in my book. Staff was very nice the decor was awesome.

My sister and I enjoying the ambiance.

I had a great time here last Friday. The crowd and the vibe were happy and fun. I'd call this a dive bar. My sister was a guest singer with a band last week, and my husband and I enjoyed the show and the wine. The shows are pretty much standing room only, so dress accordingly. We ate somewhere else first, so I am not too sure what the food is like here. Overall, we enjoyed our time. The sound quality was great, and it was a well managed bar. I'd definitely see a show here again.

Vine is such a fun way to get plugged into the community! This bar is located on 4th st, street parking or paid lot nearby. Seating inside is ideal for smaller groups. plenty of seating in their outdoor patio (smoke friendly). This place is known for their beer and wine selection but they have some seltzers and hard kombucha as well. They also have a small snack menu - hot dogs, veggie dogs, chips, and jerky. To ensure there's a little something for everyone vine offers a variety of live music. I went this past Monday and saw jazz fusion band. I don't get the opportunity to see much jazz music live so this was a fun experience for me! Staff is professional and pretty quick. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely be back. Tip: follow their IG to see their events calendar and updates

The last first date night spot. I came here with my now-fiancé on our first date and it was the most fun night of my life. We ordered a bottle of orange wine and we sat on the back patio, listening to the live music inside until 12am! One con: the tables are a bit wide, so if you like holding hands or gentle arm brushes, you might find those challenge depending on which table you choose. Everything else was perfect. Take your date here -- you'll thank me later

It's a good spot to chill at with family and or friends for a few glasses of wine. It's also a cool spot for a nice intimate date. Had the pleasure of tasting 4 different wines; 2 whites and 2 reds. My wife had bought an online special offer that had us try this cool wine bar out. The owner, Theodore, personally brought over each of the four flights of wines that were part of the special. He described the variety, and was super gracious in asking us how we liked each offering. The food was outstanding! Hands-down, one of the best beef carpaccio's that we have had in all of the Long Beach and surrounding areas. Instead of a paper-thin slice like many other locations, it was a more generous slice that still melted in your mouth with a few delicate bites. The goat cheese Brie was delightful. As well as the garlic, red-wine basted escargot. We also enjoyed the bruschetta which was yummy and had a very nice mashed tomato jelly on top of the cheese spread. If you're looking for a nice date night spot for Valentines, or to relax and enjoy a casual ambience for a connected conversation, I absolutely recommend going to Wine on 2nd. We have tried other wine bars from the Wilmore on Atlantic, to the boulangerie on Main Street in Seal Beach, as well as the wine bars in downtown Long Beach, and this one definitely places itself as one of the better wine bars you should absolutely try. Thank you Theodore!

It's a small, charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads up- there's no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with a small patio setup. That said, when the weather is nice, it's actually ideal. It feels very laid back and intimate, like one of those hidden neighborhood gems you stumble upon. The employee working when we went was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a place feel even better. The wine I tried was really good, you can definitely tell it's natural wine (in a good way!). They also have small bites available if you want to snack while you drink, though we didn't end up ordering food. The fact that I've passed by this area so many times without noticing this little gem feels like a true tragedy. Though petite and easy to miss, this spot is something special. They specialize in natural wines, thoughtfully and selectively curated since they're not a winery themselves. The selection offers great variety, and because seating is limited, it's very much a first-come, first-served situation, arrive early if you want a seat. There's some indoor seating, with more available outside. The wine servers were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. They also host food vendors.
