My friends and I were in the area having lunch and a friend suggested trying this place nearby. I've seen creme brulee crepes online before, but never had the opportunity to try and well, why notttttt. Millet Crepe is small. There's a bench outside for seating, a singular iPad for orders, and then you wait till they call your name and hand it to you through their door. The orders offer some customization which was a bonus and overall the crepe was enjoyable on a hot summer day.
Last time I was here was prob a decade ago so I figured let's go check it out again! It's located on the street with a bunch of Asian restaurants so I know competition is high but surprisingly this shop is the only one with a line! I honestly thought it was going to be overrated but honestly the food was really good. I got the crème brûlée crepe with mango and ice cream and the crepe was so buttery and the mango wasn't too sweet and the ice cream was delicious. Only downside is parking is a pain and so is the line but it's so popular for a reason! I'd come back!
The creme brulee crepe is what they're known for but I wished that my order was a bit more fully brulee. It definitely can be busy especially at night and parking can be found nearby.

We stopped by around 6:00 PM on a weekday and there were already several people waiting, with more arriving behind us. So far, we've only tried the Nutella and strawberry crepe, but it was delicious and very well made. Fresh, simple, and exactly what you want from a dessert crepe. Definitely worth the wait, and we'll be back soon to try some of the other options. There is a small area outside where you can sit and eat your crepe too.
Millet crepe is a small crepe stand and seems to be very popular. We went around 8 and the line wasn't too long and also moved very quickly. We got our order in less than 10 mins. It's a perfect dessert to grab after dinner. I got the Crème brûlée crepe and it wasn't overly sweet, perfect balance and sweetness for me. I didn't add additional toppings, but someone added ice cream and mini oreos and they made it look like a panda! It was so cute. The crepe does soggy as the custard sit right on the top, so it's best to eat it quickly. Overall it was goor and it's popular with teens and families.
I stopped by Millet Crepe and tried their tiramisu crepe, and it was a great dessert for any tiramisu lover. The crepe itself was light and delicate, and it had a piece of tiramisu on top that had strong flavors of coffee and cream. Each bite had a good balance of sweetness and was not too overwhelming, and my friend and I shared one that quickly disappeared. While the cream was not my favorite, I appreciate the many different and unique flavors that are available to try. Would love to try their matcha crepe in the future!
I kid yall not that I have wanted to try this place for like 5 years now. The time has finally come !!! I came after an event on a Friday and PHEW lemme tell ya, it was BUSY within the last hour of closing. Everyone and they babymomma was wanting a millet crepe before they closed for the night. You order on an iPad right outside the kitchen. No human interaction other than picking it up at the window. I ordered the animal one, a pig to be exact because I had also gotten my piggies done and it was a win win in my head. Either way, cant go wrong with nutella and vanilla ice cream, no sirrrrrrr. they will always be a match made in heaven. The crepe did stick to the inside of the paper which was annoying cause I looked like a savage trying to unstick it. Flavor 10/10. Texture was like a 8/10. I did end up going to the other location like a BIG BACK to try the OG creme brulee one. Parking is on the street, good luck! no restroom. there is some red seating next to the establishment.
My girlfriend and I finally built up the patience to fall in queue and see what's with all the hype. We had always seen extensive lines here after we'd get dinner in the area. We'd normally get Somi Somi for a sweet treat but wanted to give this spot a try. The line does move somewhat slow but omg the crepes are so worth it! Since our first visit, we have returned a few times. I love getting their Tiramisu and Matcha flavored custard crepe. I love that each other crepe flavor I've tried, none are ever overly sweet, and each is made with care! There's a mix match approach to how you want your dessert built but I normally order mine as it's listed on the menu for their classics. My father in law hates spending anything more than a couple bucks for a sweet treat, but happily makes the exception for Milet crepe and I 100% understand why. Theres not always a line, but if you see one formed at your time of visit don't get discouraged the reward is very delicious/unique. Can't wait to be back:)

I've genuinely never had a creme brûlée where the sweetness is so perfectly balanced and that's what makes it so addictive and not heavy. I've been getting a crème brûlée crepe ever since I first came here and not sure I can get anything else now it's just that good. Always busy especially on weekends, afternoons, and evenings but I appreciate that they're open pretty late. You order on an iPad and your order comes out through a window. There is a bench and some seating now next to the place, and I love the pink/purple lights they have outside. I always have room for a Millet Crepe!
tried the custom crepe and Creme Brulee crepe! i liked customizing my crepe to have strawberry and icecream and cookies. wish there was more ice cream i felt the custard was heavy towards the end.. we needed water, i wish they had a water stand! honestly all the options is kind of custom because you get to choose ice cream, sauce, toppings.. some selections are limited and some have more. the line went by quick on friday night at 9pm. i think we beat the rush tho. parked on the street. there's a few outside seating but we just took the chance to walk on the street and explore the sawtelle foodie street.

I took a couple of photos of the kitchen and cook inside, but the ordering kiosk is outside and someone calls your name to hand you your crepe. There is plenty of seating outside. The crepe was good! I got a matcha custard with matcha ice cream and strawberries. A little on the pricier side for the quantity!

Luckily we joined the line when it was relatively manageable even on a weekday night. Maybe I chose the wrong flavor combos but I got the crème brûlée millet crepe with matcha ice cream and also mangos. It felt very heavy to me and I wasn't able to finish it by myself after a meal. Maybe it would've tasted better to me as a standalone snack. There was also maybe like 2 mango chunks that I found in my crepe. Not sure if I would try again unless the people I am with absolutely wanted to go.
This has become one of my favorite dessert places after just one visit!! The crepes are soft and delicious and you can customize what you want in it. They have very cute animal designs, and I selected the little piggy! This is a small to go counter, and the service is very fast. They have mastered efficiency. This place is a real treat! read more

Yelp, I'm coming to you a little shocked. Millet Crepe has been on my to-try list for YEARS literally PRE COVID era YEARS ago and I was so excited to try this place out finally. Parking in Sawtelle is always a struggle, I recommend parking in the residential street metered parking a few blocks back and walking over. There's 1 (one) single bench here so anticipate taking your dessert to-go and walking + eating or standing + eating. Service is quick, we ordered on an iPad. Creme Brûlée Crepe 3/5, y'all when I tell you this was overhyped I cannot believe what I am typing right now. The creme brûlée tastes like,,, creme brûlée (which to be clear, I enjoy) but it was truly nothing special?? I've had better creme brûlée as a matcha topping before so this was so shocking to me,,,, maybe it was an off day for them ?? read more

This place used to be one of our favorites! I used to come here often, but life has been so busy that I hadn't had a chance to return until tonight. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The place wasn't particularly busy, so we placed our usual order. I ordered the crème brûlée, and my boyfriend ordered a regular crepe with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, ice cream, and custard. We paid extra for the additional toppings, which we didn't mind. When his crepe arrived, he noticed it was missing the bananas, strawberries, and Nutella. He went back and asked them to fix it, but when they returned it, they had forgotten the ice cream and custard! It was frustrating to have to keep asking for items we had already paid for. My crème brûlée was also disappointing this time. It was soggy, lacked filling, and just wasn't nearly as good as I remembered. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or simply having an off night, but the quality and attention to detail definitely weren't there tonight. I really hope this was just a one-time experience because we used to love coming here. Hopefully, our next visit will be better! read more

We got the crème brûlée crêpe with strawberry and cornflakes inside and it was delicious! Shared with my friend and the texture of the cornflakes was excellent. Millet is always a great go-to post dinner dessert! Will def return (and the line wasn't too bad on a Thursday night around...10?) read more

A super unique and delicious dessert experience! Plenty of filling options and customizations to really make it your own. You get to choose both your base ice cream flavor and the fillings. I got the creme brûlée crepe which comes with the custard and perfectly caramelized top. I also chose matcha ice cream, Nutella, fresh strawberry, and banana, which I thought might be a little much, but it ended up being so delectable with all the flavors and textures coming together well. It wasn't fresh banana to pair with the fresh strawberries (more like a banana pudding/custard?), but still good. I also wish the crepe was more fresh, but overall it was a solid sweet treat! We came on a Friday night around 10pm and there was no line at all. Only waited a few minutes for our order. Parking was a NIGHTMARE though, be prepared to have to circle around the block a few times. There are a few tables inside and outside, and the area is pretty vibrant! read more

Came by around 7:45 on a Saturday, thankfully the line was short. The crepe was out within a few minutes. I had the passion fruit one which was amazing! It left me wanting more and sharing none. The perfect post dinner sweet treat not too heavy and not overbearingly sweet. read more

Millet Crepe is a must try dessert spot for those looking for a unique bite. This spot is located in Sawtelle right next to the Giant Robot gift shop. To get here, there is a lot of street parking all around the area. They are a grab and go establishment, which means that they do not have any seating. There is a self-serve kiosk machine outside where you can place your order and wait for an employee to call your name. There were so many good flavors to choose from, but wifey and I decided on trying the Tiramisu Matcha Crepe. Overall, we are glad we were finally able to try this spot and we were not disappointed. The inside of the crepe was so custardy and packed with so much goodness! I would highly recommend stopping by here and trying one of them if you are ever walking around the neighborhood. the matcha ice cream was the best part of the crepe i ordered from this location, not too sweet and pretty thick. though, the custard in my crepe didn't taste like much. wait time in line was a bit long for a thursday night, but my order came soon after ordering. parking in this area of sawtelle is a bit hard, with it being mainly street parking on narrow main roads. read more

I ordered the crème brûlée crepe with Nutella and bananas and O.M.G. -seriously the BEST dessert I've ever had! As you very slowly make your way towards the end of the line-because there's ALWAYS a huge line-you are enveloped with the most intoxicating smell of the crepes being made. This was the sweet treat I didn't know I needed! I was in the area for dinner on a Wednesday and passed by a long line at this spot on my way to another restaurant. When I realized it was a crepe place, I made it my mission to stop by on the way back. An hour later around 8:30PM, the line was still there and maybe even longer. I ended up waiting about 20 to 30 minutes just to order at the one lone kiosk. With so many options, I can understand why ordering takes time and the line is so long. It's nice that while you wait, you can watch the staff prepare orders and torch the crème brûlée through the window, which helps pass the time. After ordering, you just have to wait by the pickup window for your name to be called. Despite the crowd, service was efficient and it only took about 10 to 15 minutes to get my crepe. I initially ordered the tiramisu crepe, but after my first bite, I realized they gave me the Nutella strawberry crème brûlée crepe with vanilla ice cream, and it may have been the best mistake ever. The crème brûlée topping was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet, with a satisfying crunch from the caramelized sugar. The strawberries tasted fresh, and you can never go wrong with Nutella. I was especially surprised by the vanilla ice cream inside. It was not an overwhelming scoop and was evenly distributed, so every bite had a bit of everything. It is definitely worth the add-on. Overall, this is a sweet treat that is absolutely worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to come back. Maybe next time I'll finally try the tiramisu crepe. read more
This was the perfect marriage of crepe & creamy custard. I saw a long line on our way to lunch so I know that this must be good. The ordering was pretty straightforward since they only have small menu. Despite the long line, I waited about 10-15 mins to get my crepe. Creme brulee crepe with custard & nutella strawberry: the experience of cracking the creme brulee crust was so exciting. The custard was silky smooth and just enough sweetness. I love the corn flakes filling that giving crunch to the crepe. The nutella strawberry was just a classic combo for the crepe. The crepe itself was good: soft yet still able to hold all the fillings. Tried the strawberry Nutella crepe at Millet Crepe and it was so good! The crepe came out fresh, warm, and perfectly made. The strawberries tasted fresh and the Nutella melted perfectly into every bite. Such a simple dessert but super satisfying. Definitely coming back to try more flavors! read more
The crepe was prepared fast. I didn't have to wait long since I was the only one to order. Crepe tasted amazing otherwise. I was so full afterward. Parking here is impossible fyi to beware of that. But I will come back to try other crepes read more

I was having a major sweet tooth after my delicious lunch and I stumbled upon this spot. There was a line but it looked like it was moving fast. It's an outdoor only type of place. I have never had a crepe before so I decided to give it a try. I went for the apple crumble. All I can say is it was yummy! Just the right amount of sweetness. Very flavorful. It came with a cone. Had a great experience! It was our first time, my kiddo felt like crepes and honestly im not a crepe person per se, but we did a quick search and found this place. The crepes were beautiful and extremely delicious! My kiddo accidentally dropped theirs on the ground the second it was handed to them and the staff quickly made them a new one at no cost. How have I missed this place?! Oh I remember why--the line is almost always crazy long! But I discovered it moves fast and it's totally worth it. For around $10 u can get a chewy perfect crepe filled with custard, ice cream, cornflakes (genius!) and sweetened strawberries that just work all so deliciously together. There are a variety of options, the crème brûlée is very popular. There are seasonal items like pumpkin and apple strudel etc. Parking is atrocious but if you're on swell you already know that. There's no interior so you have to mill around outside and shovel it in, but you'll be in good company! read more

we don’t do delivery or pick up orders online. we don’t have a capacity for that right now.
Is parking hard to find?
Evenings after 6pm it can be kind of difficult. Otherwise no, there's usually available parking within a block or two. It's off a a Main Street with a lot of eateries around so it can get crowded weekends and evenings.
Are they still taking orders in person?
Yes, we are. we have a self-check out counter at the outside of the door and cashless transaction. we are open everyday 1pm-10pm.
What is the difference between creme brûlée crepe and custard crepe?
Both have custard filling, but only the creme brulee crepe has the flame-torched, caramelized sugar on top!
Do they no longer work with Grub hub? That's what I used last time and it was a great option during COVID
