Nutella Crepe

Tried the strawberry Nutella crepe at Millet Crepe and it was so good! The crepe came out fresh, warm, and perfectly made. The strawberries tasted fresh and the Nutella melted perfectly into every bite. Such a simple dessert but super satisfying. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!

everyday i wake up and thank the sweets gods for attending ucla... BECAUSE IM DANG NEAR SAWTELLE EVERY DAY. it is a uniquely ucla experience to go get ramen, walk off the tremendous amount of calories around daiso, then re-eat those exact calories in some sorta dessert along the street... all after a 3pm class midterm. millet crepe is probably the most iconic spot for this... and for the most salivating reasons. i've come here like three times and every crepe is made to order, but it's always worth the (usually long) wait. this place has tested my patience for lines but tbh, the overpopulated campus two miles away has trained me for these moments. GET ANY CREME BRÛLÉE OPTIONS. that is a MUST as a first timer. i LOVE LOVE LOVE getting it with an ice cream filling... the warmth of the steaming custard and crystallized sugar melting the ice cream... UGH. and the crepe is delicious, thick, and holds the fillings SO WELL. and it always pairs SO GOOD with nutella drizzle. this time i got tiramisu, so there wasn't that temperature difference, BUT it was still so indulgent... just imagine biting into creme brûlée then custard then mascarpone then nutella in a waaaaarm crepe-- TRUST GUYS.... like you need to end off the study day with a healthy balanced dessert cmon now. fuel the academic weapon u are-- *drools*

Banana Foster Crepe

Happened to be walking by after lunch nearby and craving something sweet. Ordering is easy, there is a tablet up front. There are a variety of choices with the Creme Brulee Crepe being the most popular. I ended up choosing the Banana Foster crepe. Service was quick and received my crepe within 5 mins. I know this place is usually busy, but there was no wait on a Friday afternoon. There is no indoor seating, only a single bench under a tent in which you may sit and enjoy if you're lucky to have a seat. I ended up walking around Sawtelle eating my crepe. Crepe was amazing and not too sweet. The caramelized banana on top was delicious as well. Would definitely try again if in the area.

This place is a classic in Sawtelle Blvd. Amazing spot after some Ramen or some sushi. Good value of $9-12

I haven't been here in 3 years, but it's just as good as I remembered. The line speaks for itself as it does get long at 9pm. I ordered the Crème Brûlée Crepe with Vanilla Ice Cream and Nutella with Strawberries, and it was delicious! Almost every bite was perfect! Great dessert or sweet treat spot! Will definitely be back!

This is right on sawtelle so be on the prowl for parking! Its a nice little spot that has a line but goes quick since you order from their kiosk. Their menu is simple and small which i love Its a crepe in a cone topped with their custard and filled with corn flakes for crunch all of their crêpes come in the standard form however, there are flavors to choose from such as tiramisu, Matcha strawberry or even a banana foster or the classic crème brûlée. Everything else is optional whether you want to add more things inside of it such as Nutella and fruit or keep it as is and they also have a regular crêpe available if you don't want it in a cone. The prices are fair, which is about $10 and they come out pretty quick plus you can also see them make it in front of you through their window. They call out your name and you pick up and grab it. It's a nice spot that's been around for a while so if you're looking for something sweet, I recommend coming here, but there was also a Bacio de latte right across the street which is also my favorite if you're looking for high-quality ingredient gelato I suggest you go there or here.

Love this cute crepe shop! Is a must when in Sawtelle Love that you can see staff make your order Got the tiramisu crepe which was a whole slice of tiramisu shoved into a warm and pillowy crepe!

I have never said this about any kind of food but I have TRULY died and gone to heaven! Every bite, every morsel only made it more apparent how delicious the crepe I'm biting to is! I ordered the crème brûlée crepe with Nutella and bananas and O.M.G. -seriously the BEST dessert I've ever had! As you very slowly make your way towards the end of the line-because there's ALWAYS a huge line-you are enveloped with the most intoxicating smell of the crepes being made. Totally worth the waiting in line to devour this decadent and delightful dessert masterpiece!

The Creme brulee crepe with strawberries, banana, and Nutella was delicious. I got mine with vanilla soft serve. I wish they were more generous with the mix ins, especially for the price. Went in the afternoon and there wasn't a super long line

Honestly super underwhelming. The crepe itself was really soggy and not flavorful. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. The custard and fruits are yummy and matcha ice cream inside was good but there wasn't enough of it. The $8 price point is also pushing it :/ Came randomly when the line wasn't too bad but heard it can be super long at times. Service is decently fast. It's more of a window shop so there is no where to sit as a heads up.

This was the sweet treat I didn't know I needed! I was in the area for dinner on a Wednesday and passed by a long line at this spot on my way to another restaurant. When I realized it was a crepe place, I made it my mission to stop by on the way back. An hour later around 8:30PM, the line was still there and maybe even longer. I ended up waiting about 20 to 30 minutes just to order at the one lone kiosk. With so many options, I can understand why ordering takes time and the line is so long. It's nice that while you wait, you can watch the staff prepare orders and torch the crème brûlée through the window, which helps pass the time. After ordering, you just have to wait by the pickup window for your name to be called. Despite the crowd, service was efficient and it only took about 10 to 15 minutes to get my crepe. I initially ordered the tiramisu crepe, but after my first bite, I realized they gave me the Nutella strawberry crème brûlée crepe with vanilla ice cream, and it may have been the best mistake ever. The crème brûlée topping was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet, with a satisfying crunch from the caramelized sugar. The strawberries tasted fresh, and you can never go wrong with Nutella. I was especially surprised by the vanilla ice cream inside. It was not an overwhelming scoop and was evenly distributed, so every bite had a bit of everything. It is definitely worth the add-on. Overall, this is a sweet treat that is absolutely worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to come back. Maybe next time I'll finally try the tiramisu crepe.

Millet Crepe is a must try dessert spot for those looking for a unique bite. This spot is located in Sawtelle right next to the Giant Robot gift shop. To get here, there is a lot of street parking all around the area. They are a grab and go establishment, which means that they do not have any seating. There is a self-serve kiosk machine outside where you can place your order and wait for an employee to call your name. There were so many good flavors to choose from, but wifey and I decided on trying the Tiramisu Matcha Crepe. Overall, we are glad we were finally able to try this spot and we were not disappointed. The inside of the crepe was so custardy and packed with so much goodness! I would highly recommend stopping by here and trying one of them if you are ever walking around the neighborhood. There is a reason why this spot has over 1,000+ positive reviews!

This was the perfect marriage of crepe & creamy custard. I saw a long line on our way to lunch so I know that this must be good. The ordering was pretty straightforward since they only have small menu. Despite the long line, I waited about 10-15 mins to get my crepe. Creme brulee crepe with custard & nutella strawberry: the experience of cracking the creme brulee crust was so exciting. The custard was silky smooth and just enough sweetness. I love the corn flakes filling that giving crunch to the crepe. The nutella strawberry was just a classic combo for the crepe. The crepe itself was good: soft yet still able to hold all the fillings. It was a bit messy at the end.

Ask the Community - Millet Crepe

Are the custard cream made with pasteurized eggs?

I know for a fact they don't used pasteurized eggs. They definitely use chicken eggs!

Do they have vegan crepes?

Nope

Do you have gluten free crepes?

No we don’t.

Can I order for delivery? I checked Grubhub, Uber eat and Postmates, none of them accepting order from your store.

we don’t do delivery or pick up orders online. we don’t have a capacity for that right now.

Is parking hard to find?

Evenings after 6pm it can be kind of difficult. Otherwise no, there's usually available parking within a block or two. It's off a a Main Street with a lot of eateries around so it can get crowded weekends and evenings.

Are they still taking orders in person?

Yes, we are. we have a self-check out counter at the outside of the door and cashless transaction. we are open everyday 1pm-10pm.

What is the difference between creme brûlée crepe and custard crepe?

Both have custard filling, but only the creme brulee crepe has the flame-torched, caramelized sugar on top!

Do you open tomorrow, the 4th if July?

Yes we do. 1pm - 10pm :)

Do they no longer work with Grub hub? That's what I used last time and it was a great option during COVID

What's the best flavor to get?

Creme Brulee Crepe

This was such a great experience. I loved how it was not…read morecrowded and made it feel like a nice family dinner. my son is a huge Godzilla fan so he was very excited. I recommend making a reservation I think this helps with avoiding a wait. There was Godzilla history everywhere making it fun to read and learn new things. It is not noisy at all. The staff is friendly and they are ready to answer any questions. We ordered ramen and it was good nothing too fancy. We had to get the Godzilla mug and the neon green drink was good.

Wow, went to Boba Bear to check out the Godzilla pop-up event and was blown away. The Big G's foot…read moresmashes through the ceiling upon entry, and the movies are on loop on the TV with destruction raging on the twin projection windows... all while classic Godzilla tunes plays on. Seeing all the posters on the wall for Toho's reign is my dream room. We opted for the Churro, which is beamed from Godzilla's belly right into your soul, as well as drinks in the ceramic Godzilla and Mothra mugs. For $25/$30, absolutely worth picking those up, especially as Godzilla's mug can emit 'smoke' via a separate dry ice compartment in his head. We skipped the sandwich, as it just looked like a Jersey Mike's sub but dyed green, and we weren't up for making our own ramen. Definitely keeping an eye on future events in the space!
