The pastries themselves stand out visually and feel thoughtfully prepared. Ordering is done through screens, which can feel a bit tedious, though it makes sense for how the space operates. Once ordered, everything runs smoothly. The seating works well for a bigger breakfast with family or for a quick stop, and it also functions as a solid place to sit and work for a while. The only small area that could be improved is the napkins, which feel a bit basic compared to everything extraordinary here., and of course, I love the bathrooms that are gender, neutral how great! read more

The flans were esp amazing. Loved the pistachio flan and latte. I didn't think I even liked pistachio but I'm definitely convinced now. Everything was fresh and super tasty. The homemade sauces were so good too. Love how everything had a French flair. read more

Was walking down Pico and saw Bakery.LA so I stopped to see what they had. There was a large assortment of pastries. I decided to get a croissant. (I'm not supposed to eat too much sugar.) The croissant was very big and very good. For those who may be looking for a nice place to sit awhile there are many nice places to sit at Bakery.LA. One of the best spots for baguette sandwiches! Everything is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. My favorites are the Beef Baguette and the Merguez--the French baguette tastes amazing and has the perfect texture. Best of all, all of their meats are halal! They also have so many delicious pastries to choose from. The Olivia Croissant sandwich with eggs is another must-try--absolutely delicious and something I highly recommend. Great food, great prices, and so many choices. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to! read more

I've been to Bakery LA a few times now and I honestly can't say enough good things. Everything I've tried has been sooo good! The pastries are always fresh, super flavorful, and just hit every time. You can tell they really put care into what they make. Also, the owner and everyone working there are seriously the sweetest. @bakery.la_ : you hold a special place in my TART! As someone who's tried so many LA brunch spots, I was actually so impressed by the newest location of this Paris-based brunch joint. Their diverse menu features handcrafted French pastries, artisanal bread (including baguette, which was awarded LA's best in 2022), hearty brunch dishes, and freshly served cafe drinks, which were all extremely reasonably priced (especially for LA). Service was very nice, but I would definitely be patient since the restaurant is new, and my table and several other parties had orders that were mistakenly delivered or charged (which the staff immediately fixed upon bringing it to their attention). I met a friend there, first time for both. I had the pistachio croissant. It was well priced but quality wise just ok. The worse part is that they don't clean the tables outside. I had to wipe my own and there was so much dirt, grime and food on it was disgusting. I mentioned it to the server and she admitted the outside tables don't get cleaned. Not going back read more

A very nice breakfast and brunch place in LA. I went on Sunday and the meter parking around the restaurant is free! They have very good bakery, both sweet and savory. I think the croissant is very nice. Smoked salmon salad is also very fresh. Quiche is delicious too and it's quite European style I barely found it here. The servers are very friendly. They have spacious seatings. There was a fly bugging my table but maybe that's unavoidable for the weather here. read more

I guess ordering at Kiosk and getting charged a convenience fee is a thing nowadays. Walked in and the lady was very friendly. We clicked thru menu and read thru the details of items, and just order at the kiosk. Saw the little question mark next to taxes and fees and i clicked on it, letting me know they are charging a convenience fee. Oh well. Staff did say she's around if we need anything. BF ordered avocado toast and I ordered Croque Madame with a latte. I liked my food, was surprised there was caraway seeds in the sourdough. But BF was not happy about the portion of his avocado toast. This is same spot as Einstein Bros Bagels and Corner Bakery (which we did not even get a chance to visit before it closed). Quite and open space, much nicer place to hang out than Starbucks for sure. Combined rating for the two of us is 3 stars for our first visit, but I am sorta interested to return and try their pastries one day. read more

Bakery LA is one of those places that have coffee that I hadn't visited. I was excited to try out the iced coffee here, but the beans did not leave a good impression on me. Coming on a Sunday morning, though, parking was fairly easy to find. Service was fairly quick for a quick grab-and-go. In the future, I may consider giving them a second chance with some of their pastries. read more

A nice bakery in West LA that just opened. I was in the area getting services for my dog and found them next door. I ordered some cookies for the vet and team and ordered myself some macaroons and pistachio flavored desserts. Macaroons were good 5/5, nice crisp shell and flavors inside were good, not overly sweet. Definitely something to grab when visiting! The omelette was tasty and the latte was ok however it is a bit pricey for what you get. Usually with veggie meals cheese is included however the cheese was an additional charge. Brand new legit French bakery in town! Accidentally found it on Yelp and certainly it didn't take me long before I paid my initial visit. All the attendants were super sweet and it's not a rare view seeing they served people in French as well when I was there. They also mentioned that the owner had everything sold there baked in house. Plenty of seats available and it's not overly crowded, making it perfect spots to get work done. Street parking also wasn't hard to find on a Sunday noon. Bunch of options were served, from pastries to cakes to made-to-order sandwiches. As I went for quick munch, I tried their Chocolate Almond Croissant, which you might have correctly guessed, yes Pain Au Choc with extra happiness added from almond paste and that crunchy almond layer on top. I loved how theirs having the almond paste being so generous and came in right thickness as some usually bit too thin. The pastry base itself was greatly fragrant as well despite not reheated when served. Could be my new to-go! read more

This is my partner and I's second time here and they let us know about some inconveniences (bread being made for sandwich). They offered to make the sandwich in a croissant and even gave us some macaroons while we wait for the bread to be made! My favorites are the French omelettes, French baguette with chicken and croissant sandwich. They use fresh ingredients and house made sauces for that perfectly balanced flavor. One word. Delicious! I was looking for a Cafe to just chill at and found this spot. Clean, quiet, and friendly staff? Yes ma'am. I forgot the name of the sandwich I got but the bread was rosemary sourdough, with seasoned potatoes and a side salad cant go wrong with that just look how pretty it is! I got the pistachio latte and you can taste the pistachio in it and at the bottom were actual pistachio pieces. I talked to the owner a bit and turns out they just opened a year ago so deff worth a try! read more

My only mistake was went right after the dentist. I went with the strawberry tart with tea. The custard was good, not too sweet. The strawberries had a glaze but not to sweet. The flavor wouldve been better if I didn't still have the taste of dental in my mouth....lol read more

I went a friend's birthday party this past weekend, and her family ordered the cake from Baked Bar LA to celebrate the occasion. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, it was delicious. It was a white cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream filling. The cake was beautifully decorated with flowers; they looked real. I've had pastries, breads, and other cakes in the past, and everything there is so fresh and yummy. It's hard to say which pastries are my favorite. They also have the best vegan granola I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and take the time to describe what the pastries are if you have any questions. This is my first Yelp review ever and I'm finally writing it because I'm obsessed with Bakery LA and really want to see them succeed! First off, let's talk about the Baguette. It's simply sublime. The perfect crustiness and softness and buttery taste will make you drive across the city to get another one again and again! I don't live on the Westside, and yet, I'm here about once a week to get these addictive baguettes. After I tried Bakery LA, I started telling my friends about it and how they should come here to get a real baguette. One told me that there was another French bakery closer to us so we checked it out to see how it was. It was literally inedible in comparison. We did not finish it, and my husband now refers to the baguette-not-finished as the "badguette." We will not make that mistake again. We've also tried the macarons! Such a good selection of lots of different flavors. The galette is also perfect! And the turkey and cheese croissant, veggie sandwich, and the beef patty sandwiches are all so good. It's made with the famous crusty baguette, so it's automatically delicious. They also have a homemade hot sauce of some kind that has a sweet taste to it and it's very good. I'm looking forward to making my way through the menu. Lastly, the staff here are wonderful. They're very friendly and welcoming. Came to Bakery LA early this morning and it already smelled so good as soon as I walked in. My husband and I ordered turkey croissant sandwich, pistachio latte, and caramel macchiato. It was so good. Not so big of a sandwich and we were able to share and be full. The coffee's were really good-shout out to the barista. We also ordered galleta, vanilla flan, a cookie, and croissants to take home. I wasn't expecting to buy extra but if I like something I'll buy more. The owner is so sweet and what I like is her sons are the chefs. I'll for sure be coming back with my kids. read more

Excellent bakery. Had the Croque Monsieur and wife had a salad. Both really well done. Mine came with a small and tasty salad and potatoes. Wife really liked her latte. I had Earl Grey tea. Didn't have English Breakfast. Everything in the case looked great. We had the mille flour (sp?). A layered pastry and took home a pistachio flan. Both were great. The flan was a little different, almost more like a brûlée or a soft cheesecake. But enjoyed both. Excellent service. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended read more

Bakery LA is truly one of my favorite family-owned businesses in Los Angeles. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. Hakim and the entire team are incredibly welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about every customer. Everything is made fresh, and the quality speaks for itself. Ordered breakfast panini and hot pistachio lattes with almond milk. Food was great, they served me pretty quickly even 10 minutes before closing. I will say the pink haired girl started cursing really loudly at the other woman working after I saw her put the drinks in the small cup even though it is a size medium and asked the cashier to double check the size. The Paris Roma sandwich is chef's kiss. The bread is the perfect mix of soft on the inside while still being beautifully toasted. The tomatoes and cheese taste incredibly fresh, and whatever magical spread they put on it... I need the recipe because WOW. This is a refreshing sandwich! The Sea-trus salad is another favorite. It somehow manages to be light, refreshing, and still filling. The lox and veggies are unbelievably fresh and everything just works together perfectly. Love the lightness of the dressing. This will not disappoint! If I'm in the mood for something a little heartier, I go for the tomato soup and half truffle grilled cheese. I LOVE this combo. The truffle flavor is spot on and not overpowering at all. Comfort food done right. Now for the best part... dessert (my personal weakness). The canelés are my obsession. I actually buy multiple little bags of the mini ones to have with my morning coffee. They remind me of the perfect cross between crème brûlée and French toast. Crispy outside, soft center, absolute perfection. The St. Honoré is a little pricier, but worth every penny and I usually order more than one. The cream is light with a subtle vanilla flavor and those little pastry puffs on top are pure magic. This is more of an elegant, delicate dessert rather than something rich and intense. And then... yesterday I tried a chocolate dessert for the first time and I wish I remembered the name because I have not stopped thinking about it. It was a chilled circular chocolate mousse covered in chocolate with hazelnut and it was honestly PERFECTION. I don't even know how to describe it properly. Rich, smooth, balanced... I had it with coffee and it was one of those desserts you immediately plan on ordering again before you've even finished it. This is more of a rich dessert! Beyond the food, the owner and staff are incredible. They are warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely make this place feel special.
