AMAZING!! the service is top notch, and the food is delicious and filling! prices are good... wonderful sunday brunch. natalie was wonderful! checking up on us often and always being accommodating. the food was immaculate! i got the to your health crepe and my mom got the crepe madame. our food came out quick and was delicious! we wanted to go to broken yolk but the wait was long so we found this wonderful crepe place on yelp! there's a ton of yummy brunch places in the area. the service definitely shines here. really, do come! it's so great in many ways. our server natalie suggested us either a strawberry or dragonfruit mimosa since they're seasonal and not on the menu... amazing!! loved my dragonfruit mimosa. defintely stop in for breakfast, it's a delight!
Well this is our second time here at this restaurant. To be honest with you, the first time was questionable, and usually, we don't go a 2nd round. However, I talked to my husband to try it again. We are both happy we did. The pictures below says it all. This meal and service were right on point. The reason I did t give the a 5 star was the first time we felt rushed because they were closing in 1.5 after we arrived. Please note: this time we arrived earlier and no customers were at the restaurant but us. I would say call prior because they close when they want to. Meaning we witnessed 2 couples,were told by the establishment they were closing at 2pm when the clearly website states 3pm,yet the sign on the door is blank.lol. This Foodie blog person will continue to keep you posted on this establishment.
I have now been to La Creperie Cafe twice, so it is time to review! I am so happy about this establishment having opened because I really like them! I love the crepes, and am happy I won't have to drive to Sierra Madre for good crepes now that I have them here. For the savory crepes, I have ordered the Zorba both times I have been there, and have tried the Curry because someone else ordered it. I absolutely loved both! The Zorba has an amazing tomato sauce that I really want to have on a pasta or something, lol. The Curry crepe is also fantastic, but unfortunately, I won't be ordering that because I am trying to eat vegetarian... actually, I wish they had a tofu or veggie version of this! For the sweet crepes, I have only had the napoleon, and it was great! I loved that creme brulee they put in it, such a nice touch! The service is also great! The people working there are so nice, and the gentleman that has helped me twice even calls us "family," not necessary, but a nice touch! Anyway, I hope they do well because I really want them to stick around. I think they opened during the pandemic, so that has to be hard. Keep up the good work though!
Always a good spot for breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or dinner. Delicious food as always and George is always taking care of everyone with his great character. I had the steak omelette with extra beef, the other dish is Crepe Carbonara and for dessert we had the Martinique. Highly highly recommended! For the ambiance they have a French Bohemian style decor with French music in the background. Nice wine list as well. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day!

I drive by this place often and never thought much of it, but that was a huge mistake on my part! This comfortable, cozy, local restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I've currently been there twice and I wasn't disappointed. The first time, I ordered one of their egg crepes. Phenomenal! I got my eggs sunnyside up and they were cooked perfectly. The yolk was runny, the cheese was gooey, and the flavor was top notch! Well worth the money. The second time, I ordered the southwest crepe. The balance between the avocado, salsa, and tomatoes was perfect; which left me craving more, but I was far too full. For drinks, I had the iced tea and the second time, the cappuccino. The ice tea was fresh, and wasn't that cheap Lipton most places serve. The cappuccino was fluffy, warm, but not too hot It's where I can drink it almost immediately. The staff are friendly, and very welcoming. The atmosphere is also very comforting. I often enjoy Cafe Doodling, and the staff were very open to letting me just relax, eat, and draw. Overall, I highly recommend!
I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's a hidden gem in La Verne. Food is fresh and fabulous. Drinks are amazing Do yourself a favor and try it. I promise you won't be disappointed The staff and owner George treat you like royalty
I like when I get to brunch with new breakfast menus. I prefer a savory breakfast so I chose a plate with a little of everything: quiche, salad, & pomme frites = fries. We went in right when the place opened at 9 am. A little hard to find. Between the bagel place & acai bowl. An entire building of brunch options. I know quiche can be dense but the salad helps cut through the dense egg and the fries of course adds to the flavors. Three of us ordered the quiche dish. We cleared our plates. The place is also much bigger inside with a private room available. There was only one person serving but I noticed the manager helping out & one or two guys making everything fresh. Highly recommend it & the menu is diverse. Lots more things to try for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Came here to celebrate my 4 yr wedding anniversary with after dinner drinks and dessert. Loved the outdoor seating area especially during these hot summers evenings as it provided an intimate setting. We ordered the sangria and Moscow mule. These were fantastic, refreshing and quite strong! I especially enjoyed fresh fruit that accompanied in the sangria. Our server, Antonio, highly recommended the apple pain perdu and everyone should listen to him! It is quite unique since it was sort of a bread pudding and warm with apples and topped with ice cream and whip cream. It was a winner and great service too! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
My friend and I happened come here because Sal's and Bowl of Heaven was closed. We've never been here so we decided to drop in and try it out. The workers were super friendly and atmosphere was nice overall. I had the breakfast burrito. It was a standard breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese, avocado and tots. It wasn't super tasty but it wasn't bad. I think there could've been more seasoning thrown in there. The fruit seemed like it was frozen and then defrosted and put in a bowl. I wouldn't make my way from Glendora to La Verne to come eat here but I wouldn't oppose it if my friend wanted to come back because I would just try something else.
Food was super yummy, I recommend to everyone and will also be bringing friends and family. Amazing service as well

This is going to become the hottest spot in LA VERNE! Used to always go to the location in Long Beach so when I found out they opened one closer to where I live I was super exited to try it! We tried a few items and it's just as great as I remember!! The place looks cool and im sure once it's finished it will have a great vibe! Ashley the server was awesome, and George gave some great recommendations. Definitely recommend to check it out!

I looked up French onion soup on Yelp, saw the average score, and decided to come down after work at around 5:30PM as stated hours were open until 10pm. I'm not sure if it was closed early due to a family emergency, decreased operating budget, staffing, or loss, but it's disappointing to take time to drive down and find nothing about current operating hours. If they update the operating information on Yelp, I'll gladly update this review if I know when I can have lunch or dinner there. Until then, I wouldn't expect to revisit any time soon. read more

My husband and I came here for lunch. It's in our neighborhood and we've never eaten here before. 5/5 French onion soup SO MUCH GOOEY GOODNESS 5/5 hot filling cinnamon sugar crepe So light and fluffy and perfection 2/5 steak, ham and turkey burrito My husband ordered the steak, ham and bacon burrito, but asked for no ham or bacon since he doesn't eat pork. We were hoping the burrito would have a bit more steak, as it was mostly egg white and tiny but if potatoes. He was very disappointed. I felt bad, but at least he got some of my great food. THE CURRENT NAME IS LEMON AVE CAFE. After wandering around trying to figure out where we were, we saw the La Creperie Cafe sign on the inside of the dining area. This post is mostly for that info. We ate Nutella banana French toast and Hawaiian French toast (made out of Hawaiian bread). They tasted a teeny bit burned, but they had a good consistency and they looked perfect. It could just be my taste buds. Good location, parking on the street and right next-door. Very nice servers. Clean restroom. Will go again. A lot of food looked excellent. read more

First timer and was excited to try something new so I ordered the chicken and waffles and my friend ordered a mushroom omelette. Service was good everything was going great until I got chicken nuggets instead of real chicken with my waffles. The omelette was really good but I will not be ordering chicken nuggets again here was disappointed. read more
I have only tried breakfast here. Looks tiny from the outside but actually a good sized restaurant on the inside. I thought breakfast was very good. Had a crepe dish with ham and cheese and eggs Benedict. Both were very good. The prices of their food are reasonable. I will be back to try dinner.... Would definitely come back for breakfast. I will add it was late Sunday morning when we went, and we're sat right away, which was great. TL;DR. Food here is delicious with large portions; plenty for all sorts of cravings. Double check your orders if you're doing take out and call ahead to avoid a long wait. Kids menu is available, ask for a physical menu as the TV menus behind the register doesn't show it. FULL REVIEW. Came here on a Sunday afternoon to order take out for lunch. I had a large order (food for 6-7 people). The dine in service didn't seem to be too busy and there was maybe 1 or 2 groups that came in while I was waiting for my order. I ordered my food at 1:15pm and the food was ready to go at 2:00pm. This is both a good and bad thing. I watched them make all of the food, fresh, in my order so I know it wasn't "microwaved", however even though it was a lot of food, it did feel like it took forever for the food to come out. I can't imagine dining at the restaurant and waiting that long for food, especially with a group of hungry people or hangry kids. Speaking of kids, while I was waiting I did notice that the menu boards above the register don't show that the place has a kids menu. They do have options for kids, however those options are only found on the physical dine in menu. The food itself was really good. As my family was eating we were already talking about what we liked and would want to order again and what we would want to try next time. The crepes were large and could feed at least 2 people for one order (or feed 1 very hungry person LOL). The disappointing part of our meal was when we realized that we were supposed to get the fries with our mussels appetizer but they were no where to be found. The fries were not given to us. A simple mistake that can be fixed for dine in but not for take out if you don't notice this until you get home. This wasn't that big of a deal to us as we were pretty stuffed from all the food, but make sure you double check your order before you leave the restaurant. The service could be a bit quicker and servers/cooks could double check the order is 100% completed before letting it go out. With that said, I would definitely go here again as the food was delicious and they have plenty of options for almost all your cravings. read more

This little bistro from the outside looks like a hole in the wall, which is my gf and I have driven by it so many times without trying this place. Well today we finally did and WOW! It was a rainy day and we both wanted coffee, beer and French onion soup. What we got was a whole lot more. The owner (George) was inviting, warm, generous, funny and enthusiastic! I can tell this is just the way he is and let me tell you the place is way bigger on the inside. The aesthetic is nice, simple and elegant and the music was elegant and matched the ambiance. The French onion soup was one of the best in the area! I'm not big into writing reviews unless you really deserve it or you really run a bad business. The crepes were also amazing!! read more

So I have been here several times. Once with my wife and kids and another with just my wife. One time I ordered the jambalaya and got like one piece of shrimp and 2 pieces of sausage so for being that it's not the cheapest meal I was kinda irritated. But my wife and kids loved their crepes and waffles. My wife always does the more savory foods. She absolutely loves them here. And she says the drinks are very very good. I drink water or unsweetened peach iced tea. The spicy cubed potatoes are very good. Nothing fancy but try them. The second time I got the potatoes the chorizo omelette and Martinique waffle with no ice cream. Potatoes and waffles amazing. I could eat them all say every day. Literally. The omelette was just ok. I asked for no onion because I hate onions but it came riddled with onion. It took a minute to get our food because it was very busy and there was only one server so I just didn't eat the omelette and made the comment upon checking out that it was full of onions to see if she would remove the omelette from my check considering I didn't get it as ordered and didn't eat it. Bit she didn't. So I was kinda disappointed but not enough to ruin my waffle experience. That was bommmmmbb. I'd go back again at a less busy time. Because the omelette was not eaten I'd rather not waste the 20$ again. But they have an almost too large menu so there's something for everyone. Prices are so so portions are decent everything I've had has had great flavor except the onion situation. Give em a try!! read more

I will probably give it 3 and half stars. The food is ok. I got the Zorba savory pancake. The taste is ok, but I think it's a bit on the expensive side. Portion size is big though. Personally, I think savory crepes might not work as well as the traditional sweet crepes. My best friend and I got the food to go because our lunch break is short. Anyways, I'm glad I tried it but I don't think I will be back again. read more

First time ordering and was on my lunch break. Went to pick it up, got back to work and part of my order was missing. Can't go back since I'm on my lunch break. I called and they said they would reimburse me. Will update the review if I get my refund, since most places say that and then don't. The Croque Monsieur was good, just wish I hadn't paid $17 for a sandwich with no fries and no salad. The employee also says it doesn't come with a salad, but it was very clear that it does on yelp, it even asked me what dressing I wanted. I still didn't get my fries. My 2nd time here, this time on a Saturday (yelp said they were closed but they are definitely open on weekends). Staff is attentive and kind. Food is delicious and fresh. You get the feeling of being in a French bistro and it's so relaxing. Today had the crepe madame, Greek salad, and crepe banana creme pie. I highly recommend going halfsies! read more
