Just had a wonderful lunch here while serving jury duty across the street. Service was super quick. Food was incredibly tasty and fresh. And the vibe is clean with a simplistic coolness. Oh, and you get a cookie with each menu item. I opted for the snickerdoodle. Delish! The only thing that was a miss was that I asked if my Mediterranean bowl had any garlic or onion because I get very bad reflux. There were some red onions in the dish, in the couscous I believe. Been here a few times. Food is always good and fresh. I've tried the bulgogi bowl, steak, and a couple sandwiches. Prices are a little high but the quality is there. You also get a choice of fruit or cookie with every meal and the cookies are pretty good. Owner and staff always very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant has a small indoor seating and a couple of tables outside. Seems like they do a lot of catering and to go orders. read more

Cute little find! Worth the one dollar I paid in the lot (to park) next door. It reminded me of Northern California ... a bake shop you might see in Berkeley (but in Sherman Oaks... imagine that!?). The neighborhood has really been built up in the past few years and since I lived in the area 20 years ago. Now I know where to go when I get my car serviced at the dealer... where to walk for a great sandwich! I had the vegan Bahn Mi and it did not disappoint! I had a vegan cookie while I waited (for my to-go order). The place gets real busy at lunch time so it's probably best to order ahead. The counter gal was super friendly and working those "to go" orders like nobody's business! Give that girl a bonus! It's a quaint place to dine in. The windows are high up, tho the place has a nice natural calm light ambiance, and you are not distracted with neighborhood construction or goings on. The food is incredible--great ingredients with recipes so well thought out that I literally leave every day telling the chef how much I enjoyed the meal. That is a fact. The prices are very reasonable. Further, the owners are incredibly welcoming and sweet. Yesterday I came in with my heel falling off my dress shoe. At the end of lunch, one of the owners repaired my shoe with a glue gun! Now, where else can someone get service like that! Nowhere. Specifics: I recommend the Mediterranean Bowl, but I've been impressed greatly by some of their weekly specials. They also cater so consider them for all of your large gatherings!! I recommend getting there around 12:30 to avoid the rush. The place is small but very nicely decorated. They offer takeout. Drove 20 minutes from Valencia to stop here and it's worth the drive. I had the fried chicken sandwich with french fries with homemade aïoli sauce and got a white chocolate chip cookie on the side for free.! Sandwich was crispy chicken and juicy on the inside. For lunch today I was craving a sandwich. Baked it myself happened to be a recommended spot for me in Grubhub and menu looked good. Ended up ordering the tuna salad sandwich and the prosciutto caprese. Both came with a side salad and cookie. The food was delicious. You could taste the quality ingredients and freshness. I absolutely loved the fresh vegetables and their lemon dressing. I would've given this place 5* but the actual bread was a let down. I don't know if it was just an off day but the bread was dry and stale. Given this and it still getting a 4 rating blows my mind. That's how good these ingredients were!!!! I ended up having the tuna salad sandwich without the bread. The tuna was not overly mayo based. The balance of the red onions celery and lemon zest was impeccable. I'm so glad we found this place! The steak sandwich is fantastic! And for only $15 it comes with a side salad AND a cookie! This has become a go to spot for my husband and I to pick up two steak paninis and head to Lake Balboa or the nature preserve for a lovely local picnic. But they also travel really well because one day we picked them up and drove over an hour to the river in Azusa and they were still absolutely delicious with great texture all that time later. The price isn't too expensive as most places near by. If you want to dine outside there are 3 small tables on a little deck to do so. The salad is small with cucumbers & tomatoes and I believe they put some sort of lemon vinaigrette or maybe just a squeeze a lemon juice. It was hard to tell but it was good. Wow it's been a while I've had a skirt steak sandwich so gooood!. Omg first time here and impressed. Comes with a small salade and the dressing very well balanced dressing the bread fresh and the sauce on the steak all together is a homerun! Just make sure your car parking meter is paid they are fast here with ticketing almost got one ran out just in time. This lady knows her stuff; I'm sure she is well aware of this already. My mom works at the Van Nuys courts and on occasion she will bring back food from this establishment.
