Ggiata has been ALL over my FYP and I finally got to try it. Think I was a bit indecisive, whether I wanted the grilled Caesar or the fried chicken Caesar cesar wrap, the cashier told me the fried is more popular. The Caesar wrap was SO good! The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and I loved that it wasn't drowning in dressing and a generous amount of chicken. You genuinely get chicken in every bite. The portion was also huge and filling enough that you could honestly split it between two people. If you like it a little more saucy, it does come with an extra side of Caesar salad salad dressing ! There's limited indoor and limited outdoor seating but we came by on a weekday for lunch and were lucky enough to snag an indoor spot. Cute, small spot with some seating inside and outside. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I went with the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap ($19). A little pricey, but it came out quickly and was a pretty good size with a good amount of filling. I do wish there was more chicken, but I really enjoyed the pepperoncini! Ggiata is 10/10 for customer service! I ordered 2 sandwiches for pick up about an hour before they closed and one of the sandwiches was the Burr (tuna salad). I got a call from Ggiata telling me they were out of tuna but would substitute for any sandwich and even threw in a drink & cookie! I was super happy that they called me right away and offered a few extra things for the inconvenience. Anyway I switched it to the buffalo chicken wrap which was just as delicious and I got to try their new pistachio cookie which was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend both! This Ggiata is situated in a small shopping area with limited parking so be prepared for that. It has some seating outside & the inside is pretty small. Third visit and another pickup for the Hollywood Bowl. Unfortunately not the same 5* experience of previous visits. Got the grilled chicken caesar wrap again and there was no consistency to the previous 2x we ordered it. Very little lettuce or salad inside. Just primarily chicken. Looked in the bag for the caesar dressing that goes with it and NOPE. Not included. Big bummer. Got the cookie special and don't recommend. Tasted like very undercooked cookie dough. Unpleasant. Feels like quality control had the night off. Not a good experience and not sure I would go back. Really unfortunate as we really liked them the first 2 times. Ggiata is definitely one of my favorite sandwich spots to go to. A lot of their sandwiches are really good but my favorites that I tend to order the most are the prosciutto panino and the Draper. I've been to a few locations and all I can say is the staff is always friendly and the sandwiches are made with good quality. Prosciutto panino - if you like pesto, spicy, and prosciutto, this is the one! I can honestly eat this everyday The Draper- if you like chicken cutlets, balsamic and prosciutto, but not a lot of prosciutto, this is the one to go with. Ggiata is a neighborhood sandwich shop that opened a year ago here in Studio City. My son suggested we try this place today so we came around 6:45pm. Mitch was behind the counter and he greeted us with a genuine smile and kind attitude. He was very welcoming and had good energy. I ordered a Caprese Sandwich ($17.50) with Gluten Free Bread (+$2.50) and added chicken (+$3). Honestly, I've had better Caprese sandwiches and I was expecting it to be hot. Both the bread and the chicken inside were like room temp. I also got a bag of dill pickle chips ($3) and a Mango Hydration Drink ($4). My son had the Cheesesteak Special sandwich ($18) and it was absolutely delicious. I liked his sandwich more than mine. He loved it too, since he completely inhaled it. The steak was juicy and flavorful, it had just enough cheese and the sesame roll was very fresh, tasty and HOT! The place itself is small and clean. There are a few stools if you want to eat inside, or you can sit at one of the tables outside. They have one gender neutral restroom which was clean. After you place your order, you pick it up outside at this adorable little pick-up window they have. I will be back to try this place again, but for now I'm sticking with 4 stars just based on how expensive it was and the temperature of my sandwich. I don't really get the hype with this place. The sandwiches are fine but not worth the parking, although not entirely in their control, it seems Ggiata always opens where it's just absurd to get to if you don't live across the street to walk. I finally tried the viral caesar salad wrap. The menu description is pretty basic and that's what you get - a pretty basic chicken caesar salad wrap. The wrap is a good size and toasted well, but there's hardly any dressing in the wrap, I think I found 2 croutons, and the chicken was dry and flavorless. They give you a side of dressing which is nice but even that little dressing cup is half full. read more

I love coming to Ggiata for The Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap. The chicken is flavorful and has a great crunch that goes perfectly with the other ingredients. The wrap is generously sauced, but I really appreciate how they still include a side of Caesar dressing for those who want to indulge themselves. My last visit I tried The Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap and The Turk. Surprisingly, the grilled wrap has different ingredients than the crispy wrap. Even with extra sauce it was on the drier side and wasn't as flavorful. Clearly the grilled wrap is inferior. As for The Turk, I didn't enjoy it very much. On paper it sounded great, but the ingredients didn't mesh well and I didn't like the honey mustard. I'll keep come back for The Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap and try a new sandwich while I'm there. After waiting 20 minutes it was clear something was wrong, cuz it wasn't overly busy. Apparently they lost my walk-in order. So they rushed to make it and boy did it suck, got the chicken Caesar wrap and the majority of the wrap was croutons, in fact the croutons were larger than any single piece of chicken inside and outnumbered them 2:1, it seemed like a joke. it's my first time at Ggiata & i already love this place. the people are so nice & goofy. i love when employees express their personalities with customers, it's so fun! this place is pretty simple.. you walk inside, stand in line to place your order, and then you pick up your food outside from the pick up window. so easy, i love it. seating tables outside with trash disposal provided. i have heard so many great things about their Cesar crispy chicken wrap and i had to try it myself. the wrap is provided with a Cesar dressing which is nice. the wrap sure does own up to the hype! the crispy chicken was so good! it was perfect at each bite! i love that they add the crispy croutons around the wrap, so good! next time i would like to try the cesar grilled chicken wrap. 10/10 recommend! read more

I've been to the other Ggiata location in Highland Park, and thought it was a great little sandwich joint. Especially loved that they had decent gluten free bread for my S/O. But this location was pretty lackluster. Perhaps I ordered wrong - The Lily was somehow both too salty and not salty enough. The parmesan and crispy prosciutto were the salt bombs, but the egg tasted completely unseasoned and the bread's only flavor was a vague char. Arugula was the best part of that sandwich, so I'm glad they put a lot of it on there. If I'd gotten a different sandwich, this may have been a different review. Who knows. S/O got the breakfast club on GF bread, which ended up being pretty solid. Nothing crazy standout, but certainly tastier than mine. I know they're known for their lunch sandwiches moreso than their breakfast sandwiches, but I personally think that if you're going to include something on your menu, it should be up to par with the rest of your offerings. Could I make me something better at home? Absolutely!! Ggiata is the only place I know of that carries my favorite Italian Rainbow cookies, so I figured I might as well try a sandwich while picking those up. One of the seasonal specials is the Martha which is an upgraded version of chicken salad (Tarragon chicken salad, apples, shaved fennel, arugula, basil, lemon, garlic aioli on grilled Ciabatta, $16) which sounded pretty good. I placed the order online and headed over to this busy section of Studio City. Street parking can be tricky especially in the afternoon, and there are 'parking ticketers' out in force. This was my first time here at this location, but they had a handy takeout window at the one end, and a friendly guy handed me the bag. As for the food, I could only eat half of the sandwich; one reason is because it was a Lot of sandwich and second, I didn't really enjoy this for the most part (I did give the other half to a hungry co-worker who did like it). Then my favorite part, the cookies. I ordered two orders (two come in an order) so I had four to enjoy. The first bag was a decent sized pair of cookies, but they shafted me on the second order. This was basically one cookie cut to make two which was clearly noticeable compared to the other order. I was too far to return these but next time, it's something I will check on before leaving. I didn't have this problem the first time I came here (even though it was a different location) but as for anything, I recommend checking your order prior to leaving. This place puts out okay sandwiches, but there seems to be something missing in terms of a big flavor punch i really craved. Masterpiece - not bad, my favorite among what I tried. Nice thin fried eggplant. A bit of spice (peperocini?) would have really elevated it. Antonia - this is their turkey avocado sandwich. It is screaming for a pickle or similar acidic element. A bit bland, but pleasant. Chicken Parm - looks like a million bucks, but again, a bit bland. My 5 year old daughter sort of liked it. There is a spicy version (Spicy P) which is what I would choose next time. Prices are typical for somewhat upmarket sandwiches these days (close to $20 per sandwich). I would not avoid this place in the future, but I can think of a few sandwich joints I would prefer. That's pretty much the definition of 3 stars. Came back to give their breakfast items a try. The hashbrowns are pretty mushy in my opinion. The picture online made it seem like it was crispier. It had a crispy edge though but the rest of it could have been crispier. The Lily was alright. The only thing i loved was the fact that i chose to switch out the ciabatta with a sesame round roll. All the bread that ive tried at Ggiata always end up being hard and too chewy but the sesame round roll was soft in the middle and well toasted on the outside. The Jaffe was the best part for this order. It was very refreshing. I got it on an everything bagel. After trying a few more items from ggiata, i feel like the only items id come back for include...the Jaffe, the chicken wrap and the arancini. read more

Very disappointed. The place is usually awesome, but today they were a bit ridiculous. There's a parasite affecting lettuce right now so I tried ordering two Hot Rods without lettuce and substitute for arugula and the valley girl on the phone was like "yaaaa we don't do modifications on the specialss we kinda want you to try it as is" like girl I just said there is a PARASITE affecting lettuce right now.
