Stopped by around 1:20 PM and had a smooth experience overall. There was no wait to order, and our sandwiches came out within about 5-10 minutes. Parking is probably the biggest downside. It's street parking only, and it can be a little difficult to find a spot. There isn't much seating inside, so we grabbed a table outside. Luckily, the weather was nice, and it ended up being a great place to enjoy lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and while the prices aren't the cheapest, they also didn't feel unreasonable given the quality of the food. I ordered Ruben's Cousin on Dutch crunch, and I'd definitely recommend it. The Dutch crunch bread had a great texture, and the sandwich itself was juicy, flavorful, and well-balanced. Nothing overcomplicated--just a really solid sandwich done well. Overall, it's a spot I'd happily return to, as there are already several other sandwiches I'd come back to try despite the parking situation. read more

If you've not had a Ghost Sando yet, you really should go out of your way to get one! I don't live in this area anymore, but I do enjoy this more cozy & comfortable location in Burbank, than the one in DTLA at the Grand Central market All the Sandos that I've had have been excellent, but my favorite is the Firebird; I get that about 80% of the time. Great variety of hot and cold subs/sandwiches! Ordering is easy at the counter and service was very quick to bring sandwiches out for a group of 10. They also have a mix of indoor and covered outdoor seating perfect for any vibe and easy to meet with small to medium sized groups. I got The Terminator sandwich and was on the hungry side so I went with the Regular size (8") over the Mini (6"). Ghost does a great job at packing the sandwich full so the Mini would have been more than enough for me unlike a 6" at Subway which never really feels like enough. The Terminator had fresh ham, bacon, Swiss, cream cheese and a great mix of veggies and sauces. My only critique is that the sandwich was heavy on the sauce and by the end the bread had sogged out, dissuading me from saving any leftovers. read more

Got the XL Uncle Nikki sandwich. To my understanding, sandwiches come in L, XL (same bread with 1.5 times the toppings, meats and cheese), and 2XL (same bread with 2x everything). Solid sandwich! The bread especially was great, but I'm unsure if it was worth the $19+ price. I'm not a sandwich connoisseur, but nothing about the meat quality or fillings particularly blew me away. Perhaps their other sandwiches are more standout! Service was decently fast, and the ambiance was nothing fancy. But it was clean with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very good sandwiches on Dutch crunch just like most delis back home in San Francisco. We liked Ghost Sando Shop in Toluca Lake a lot. I went with the Howdy in XL ($17) and that comes with chicken in sweet bbq sauce, mayo, bacon, melted mozz, lettuce, red onions and a dusting of chives all encompassed in some delicious Dutch crunch bread. $17 isnt cheap for a sandwich but I was quite full after eating this. FYI. The XL gives you 1.5 more meat and cheese than the L. The ingredients in the Howdy all went great together. Loved the bbq sauce on the chicken, love the bacon, loved the Dutch crunch. The lady got the Better in XL ($18) and that comes with seasoned roast beef, melted sharp cheddar, mayo, chive cream cheese spread, bbq sauce, lettuce, red onions & pepperoncinis all in that great Dutch crunch. She liked that sandwich but could only eat half. Saved half for later. Service was great. The nice young Latina lady that took our order this past Sunday and the gentleman that handed us our order were friendly and helpful. We also got a pineapple passionfruit refresher ($4). Street parking only in a well-visited part of Toluca Lake along Riverside Dr. A few tables inside that seat 4 people each. Some smaller tables outside on their sidewalk patio. One of the very few spots that delivers on both on a very high level .. as you can see in the pics it is as appetizing as it can be and it tastes twice as good as it looks ! Tried their popular Melrose Sandwich, and wasn't wowed. I had the "regular" size (6 inch) and while the length was what I asked for, the width and height were smaller than I expected. Not very generous in the meat department either. Better values are readily available elsewhere. read more

I hate that I didn't take a picture but I went with a friend and I highly recommend we sat and talked forever and I had to talk myself out of buying a second one before I left. I first went to Ghost Sando after the Melrose location went viral in Tiktok and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a location near Burbank. Their building is a unique greenish blue color and hard to miss. Their packaging is also the same color and it's super cute! Parking can be a little tough in the area. I usually street park further away and walk over. I've taken my boyfriend and my sisters here on multiple occasions. And they all enjoyed it! My boyfriend has allergies and usually asks to remove dairy products from his order and the staff is very accommodating. I always try something new when I come and enjoyed each sandwich I've tried. I prefer their hot sandwiches over their cold ones, and its's best eaten fresh as soon as you get it from the counter! read more

Don't tempt me with a good deli because I will always say yes. I found this spot looking on yelp for recommendations. I ordered online and after perusing the menu I decided on the Howdy. I arrived and parked in front. There is no set parking. Mostly street parking in that area. I walked over and decor is very cute. Its a cute little spot with outside and inside seating.
